841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to deal with bitcoin for the safest on: January 25, 2018, 04:55:59 AM
Your best bet to profit before investing is to do jobs, join signature campaigns and do other stuff from the services section
Yuph, The best way to earn bitcoin without investing money is by Joining Bounties in this campaign. You can participate social media campaigns like twitter and fb campaign. Hmmm you're still a newbie to join a signature campaign. You must rank up first.
Bitcoin campaign can be found here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0
And here is for altcoins
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0

If you want to invest. My best suggestion is by holding your coins until the price gets higher then sell it.

Merit is the point given by others if your post is considered useful and quality.
This Merit is a key requirement to improve your account ranking.
That's how why merit is very useful for every BCT Users to rank up fast.
This Merit is a good idea, So that no spammers will rank up until they do some constructive post. But I think Merit will affect those members with low ranks like newbie and Jr.Members. Since they are low level ranks, they are often ignored by higher ranks. So it means, although they already reached the required post count to rank up. They will not rank because the merit point count is not enough/reached the points needed in order to rank up because even if they do costructive post. They are often ignored. What do you think guys?

Ps. But I really do Love the Merit System of the forum.

Manager, Why don't you ask for segwit addresses to reduce the fees? $420 was the fee for the first week.
Hi mr.ImHash , How can I know if my address is segwit or not?
When are we going to recieve the payment for the 2nd week? Thanks!
The payment will be tomorrow.
847  Economy / Services / Re: 🚀[Signature Campaign] 🚀LEGOLAS Exchange 200 Members Required | [CFNP] on: January 22, 2018, 03:42:48 PM
Is this campaign still taking in new participants? I seen some member leaving the signature campaign, so is there any chance to take up their slots?
Looks like the campaign manager is the only one who can answer your question, but seems like he's not active for  now.
848  Other / Off-topic / Re: What age to teach kids about crypto? on: January 22, 2018, 03:14:38 PM
Hi everyone,

When is a good age to teach kids about crypto?  Any suggestions on how to go about it?  thanks Smiley
Actually Age doesn't matter, It only depends on how interested that kid is. Since bitcoin is available for anyone even if it is a kid, you can teach your children how to participate and earn bitcoins.
Simply tell him/her about the basic information about bitcoin like what is bitcoin and what are the effect of bitcoin. Then if you feel that your kid is interested, well start teaching him/her more about crypto and bitcoin because I believe she/he will start earning coins soon.
849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm gonna sell my house on: January 22, 2018, 10:42:13 AM
I am sure we touched the bottom today. so i am going to real Estate Dealer for selling my house and buy bitcoin. I suggest you all do that
I think thats not a good idea, Bitcoin's price really encourage you to sell your house but how if bitcoin's price takes too long before it gets high. You're really crazy about bitcoin didn't yah? Because as I can see you're really prepared to lose your home just for money. But its your choice if you really want to stick to your plan but im telling you, its not a good idea.
850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is asset, not currency. on: January 22, 2018, 10:20:15 AM
To me Bitcoin is both currency and asset.
If we take it as a currency then it is easy to trade. Bitcoin can easily be transferred from one place to another. On the other hand if we take as asset then it's value is rising day by day. So, as an asset it is a good one. So to me Bitcoin is both
Interesting, I think you're right its both asset and currency. Actually bitcoin is a currency but some people consider it as asset which is right too. We cant blame them for treating bitcoin as asset, let them be because thats the way they look at it and there is no problem at all.
But i have read an article that says bitcoin really is asset. Because Bitcoin's price is unstable, they say that it cannot be a currency.
"Is Bitcoin the currency of the future? No. There are two big problems with bitcoin as a currency: its value is unstable and its transaction processing is too slow." From www.Forbes.com you can check the article here https://www.forbes.com/sites/jeffreydorfman/2017/05/17/bitcoin-is-an-asset-not-a-currency/amp/
851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is buying bitcoin now? on: January 22, 2018, 01:24:47 AM
So the price is hopefully at it's floor. Is anyone relying on this being the case and buying now? I'm holding the bitcoin I already have hoping for a rise - otherwise I lose money. Whilst I'm waiting, I'm thinking of sinking another load of money into it to catch the (hopeful) rise. Or is the risk of further decrease too great?
While bitcoin's price lies in the floor, its a good opportunity to buy bitcoin and hold it.  I suggest you to buy bitcoin as much as you can because when bitcoin hits the ceiling, it will surely be a profit for every bitcoin holder. Like me, Im holding my bitcoin and expecting for a high price later. But please consider some risk too.
852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Ethereum on: January 22, 2018, 12:37:20 AM
i choose bitcoin, because price of bitcoin is greater than ethereum
Yeah there is no doubt that bitcoin is the best among all of electronic currency. Bitcoin is the first electronic currency and it makes bitcoin popular. If we will compare the price of Bitcoin and Etherium, Bitcoin's price is higher than Eth and it attracts people to choose bitcoin than Eth. Just think how many etherium you can get with only 1 bitcoin. Hmmm I believed its 10 Eth. Isn't it?
853  Economy / Services / Re: 🚀[Signature Campaign] 🚀LEGOLAS Exchange 200 Members Required | [CFNP] on: January 21, 2018, 11:09:16 PM

854  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 2018 the downfall of bitcoin? on: January 21, 2018, 02:14:09 PM
Looks like all of the answers here are correct. It doesn't mean that 2018 is the downfall of bitcoin just because its price is getting low. It is normal for bitcoin's price to went up and down, cause its volatile. Maybe soon or later you will just see that bitcoin's price is getting higher again, and after that it will go down again. Bitcoin is fluctuated. We all know that, and it is not a problem.
855  Economy / Economics / Re: why should bitcoin! on: January 21, 2018, 07:53:47 AM
now many altcoin, sprung up between it all there must be in the place of investing other than bitcoin, all also have the same opportunity as bitcoin all promising profit

but why do more choose bitcoin as the place they invest?
I think they chose bitcoin because bitcoin is the oldest coin and already has a high price so no doubt the excess, while other coins are new coins and the price is still small, so there is little concern to invest in other coins.
Also bitcoin is the most popular coin nowadays. And bitcoin is the only one who have a high price than other coin. Although we are experiencing a low price of bitcoins. People will still choose bicoin Over other coins because they believe that bitcoin's price will  rise soon or later.
Just the fact that bitcoin is popular is enough to encourage people to earn bitcoins.

857  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin really secure on: January 21, 2018, 07:37:39 AM
It only depends on how secured you are in keeping your bitcoins. But Yes, bitcoin is secured. Here's some proof
"All in all, bitcoin is more secure than most existing financial services, including legacy banking platforms like SWIFT, which has been compromised repeatedly by hackers." According to Jeff John Roberts.

858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC to accept Bitcoin! on: January 20, 2018, 11:48:46 PM
what about fees ithink this not going to help em if im not wrong
Yeah I think so too. For example, if we order a food in KFC that is about 0.0008 bitcoin. How about the fees? Ofcourse it will still deduct to our bitcoin and thats another addition in payment. It is still better to just pay a fiat money. Also the transaction of paying in bitcoin is not as fast a paying fiat money. There are still some conflict with this "KFC accepts bitcoin" idea. They must know and fix these problem first before they make a decision.

Hi Sir Wapinter. Are we still running this campaign? Smiley
860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a mode of payment on: January 19, 2018, 02:04:05 AM
To me, bitcoin is really a great form of payment. Bitcoin payments are extremely secure and fast. I like it when nobody manages my transactions, so I often exchange with bitcoin.
Yes, Nowadays bitcoin is a better payment that fiat money from jobs if you are freelancing or other online job. It's transaction is fast and really secured than money and also have a chance for its price to get higher. But it still consist of some risk like. How is the price of bitcoin drops.
