841  Economy / Economics / Re: Be Creative and Earn on: November 02, 2018, 04:53:12 PM
Just happened across an article from May 2018 about a street artist who is earning crypto from his
Graffiti work by placing a QR code for people to send rewards - great idea! >
http://cryptotimes.org/bitcoin/street-artist-nets-1000-bitcoin-qr-codes-murals/

https://www.pboy-art.com/biographie

This goes to show there are many ways to earn crypto and the lesson is to be creative and think
outside the box. We can all earn crypto legitimately if we put our minds to the task and market
the idea.

Im just throwing it out there but I would love to read a part fiction/part historical novel about the
creation of Bitcon and Satoshi Nakamoto

Cryptocurrency currency is a product of innovation and creativity and at that to succeede in it and earn you must have one skill or the or in other for your service to to required and paid for, santoshi Nakamoto him self was a creative man's and that is why he was able to develop such great technology that is changing the world today.
842  Economy / Economics / Re: Who will finally win the Blockchain competition; USA or China? on: November 02, 2018, 04:48:56 PM
Both the USA and China have developed greatly when it comes to bitcoin and the general cryptocurrency tech but the fact still remains that China still house huge numbers of blockchain base project according to records with time I know the U S will break that record due to the embracement of cryptocurrency in the USA and the climb down on cryptocurrency in some part of China.
843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT NEXT FOR BTC on: November 02, 2018, 04:42:35 PM
Bitcoin have been in existence now for ten years and at that it market according to it price have witness a lot of ups and down and the red and green chart has always been there but the fact still remains that despite the ETF rejection and denied registration bitcoin have succeeded in the dark market and if bitcoin have raised to the current amount then we should be sure of it survival till the expected will happen.
844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Problems with banks you have faced on: November 02, 2018, 04:36:13 PM
We have all experienced one or two difficult situations in the bank, I still can remembered when the bank trapped my money for over two months without any good reasons and at the end their came out to tell me to provide two guarantors with valid means of identification before I can have access to the money, the situation was so frustrating at that time I was not aware of digital currency.
845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks are maintaining dependence on: November 01, 2018, 06:47:37 AM
I know the bank as the traditional financial institution will one day come to a point where they will not have a choice then to embrace the technology behind cryptocurrency since it now the order of the day. If the bank want to mentain it relevance in the era of competition then it have to embrace the blockchain for better performance.
846  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price on: November 01, 2018, 06:44:13 AM
Bitcoin is a very essential commodity and it demands is what always result to it price, so seeing bitcoin at a high price means that great number of people are demanding for it. Bitcoin has perform a great deal of services which is very essential to this generation and at that weither it have physical value or not it will still be relevant since it is design to operate without any physical value but in digital form.
847  Economy / Economics / Re: Mastercard is investing in blockchain on: November 01, 2018, 06:39:59 AM
That is a good one there and a step in the right direction from MasterCard developers, because with adoption of blockchain it will give room for more transactions to be made using MasterCard which will at the end result into great income for the company, in fact this will make MasterCard to become the primary card being use for cryptocurrency transactions and you know the world is gradually getting to a point where cryptocurrency will become the dominant currency.
848  Economy / Economics / Re: Government should implement blockchain technology to prevent corruption. on: November 01, 2018, 06:35:52 AM
Blockchain is a good technology that will be use as a tool of transparency to every transaction being done. The government should know and develop a system like this on their system. This will eradicate corruption or transactions being made under the table because there will be a transparency on every transactions and how much money is involve. The budget of the people will be obviously utilize to its intended purpose. Would you agree with this idea?
Government to implement the blockchain to cumb corruption in what way do you really think that can work, cause the blockchain is design to operate in a decentralized manner and at that transactions made under it can neither be controlled or monitored the highest the government can do is to upgrade on the existing network which is the traditional financial institution but their should stay away from blockchain.
849  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency - future? on: November 01, 2018, 06:31:44 AM
I believe the future holds a great deal for the cryptocurrency currency and also in the future the whole world is going to celebrate the technology behind the cryptocurrency as blockchain is going to become the digital bank and people are going to adopt cryptocurrency as they secondary currency since it is decentralized and fast, secured.
850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC scams on: October 31, 2018, 09:25:12 PM
This is a great advice because any thing that require you sensitive documents also need to be double checked before going into it the fact still remains that the KYC method is a very good development but the fact still remains that scammers always take advantage of any opportunity to cheat people and at that any information they can lay their hand on can be use by them.
851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency market on: October 31, 2018, 09:18:13 PM
Red days is part of the cryptocurrency trading market and at that we should not expect the green market forever and that is the more reasons we need to get our self's use to the volatility of the cryptocurrency network which made it possible for us to train our self's in such a way that we can withstand any market crises and in doing that the best way is to hodle when market crashed.
852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's strength is that nobody can crack it yet on: October 31, 2018, 09:09:27 PM
The unique part of bitcoin is that it is decentralized and at that can not be control by any body or government in at that the only way to bring bitcoin down is to pit an end to the internet and that will not happen any time soon, santoshi has provided us wit a payment system that can not be influence by any body.
853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looking back at the White paper... Do you think Satoshi would be proud of us? on: October 31, 2018, 08:54:42 PM
At this stage I still believe that bitcoin is still at it developmental stage and at that we still rely on a good number of third party involvement to carry out most of our transactions in bitcoin and this is not in any way deviating us from santoshi original design and plans but the fact still remains that it will take a good number of years for santoshi original design and plans to come to pass in 100%.
854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Ways to Avoid Bitcoin Scams on: October 31, 2018, 08:49:34 PM
As interest in digital currencies increases such as Bitcoin, more and more Bitcoin scams promise high returns. Unrealistic lure is clearly a mere cover, and usually ends with the loss of clients' funds. Fraud often spreads in social circles based on trusted relationships. Therefore, we must be aware that there are cunning fraudsters who can actively seek ways to deceive with absurd tricks and offers.

How to avoid bitcoin scams :

1. Know What You Are Facing

You don't need to rush to decide whether an investment product is a scam or not. All you need to do is, take a moment to find complete information about the project. The easiest way to do this is to find information in the form of company details or Whitepaper (if ICO), and other things related to the investment product. Learn all the details carefully and do some research on testimonials, comments, and so on. Another way is to join a Bitcoin forum like Bitcointalk, and immediately ask for credibility of an investment product or company to other members.

2. Avoid Unrealistic Offerings

Usually, crypto currency fraud can disguise its identity by using a social media account or advertising banner that looks professional. Mark Steward, director of FCA law enforcement, explained that when people become more skeptical of the real world regarding investment and consumer habits have changed, investment fraud has moved into the realm of Online and social media.

How to avoid this Bitcoin Scam is, you are better selective about all investment offerings from the Online platform that you did not ask for, whether through social media, email, or even by telephone. Even if it looks official, pay attention to how it is offered. Con artists usually dare to promise high profits to lure victims. So if you feel the promise of profits is unrealistic, immediately ignore the proposed offer.

3. Beware of Phising Web Pages

Increased interest in crypto currencies makes many new investors enter the market. Lots of land in a fake landing page that claims to be a popular digital currency exchange platform. One example is the one that uses the Punycode technique. Through this method, the fake domain 'xn - inance-hrb [dot] com' can be displayed as 'ƅinance [dot] com'. This technique is usually able to deceive consumers, because web pages can look really like the original. You can overcome this by being aware of vulnerabilities that exist in internet browsers, such as Chrome, Firefox, and Opera,

4. Beware of Fake Digital Wallets

Fake virtual wallets often appear online or at the mobile app store. In the example of a fake Wallet fraud that happened, more than $ 3.3 million was stolen from users who want to claim their Bitcoin Gold. To anticipate similar events, many Bitcoin Wallet providers caution clients to be aware of the cloning of scammers who want to steal victim funds by imitating their appearance.

MyEtherWallet for example, warns customers about fake MyEtherWallet in December. In addition, before choosing a digital wallet provider, do research first. Please share opinions on leading crypto forums, both local and foreign. In essence, only use the Wallet provider with a good track record.

5. Beware of Bitcoin Thief Malware

Malware is something that concerns computer owners. But now, a new category of malware capable of stealing Bitcoin-related data has appeared. Malware authorized by the computer owner is able to record typing or search for a file with the keyword "Account", "Password", "Bitcoin", "Wallet", or other keywords specified by the author, then upload the file to an anonymous server automatically.

In addition, there is also a malware that seeks to absorb the computing power of computer users to mine crypto. Anticipating this, YouTube is trying to deactivate ads that take computing power to mine crypto currencies. It is believed, after users see the related ad videos, the computer becomes slow and there will be warnings from anti-virus programs. Malware like this can steal up to 100% of computing power to mine crypto currencies (generally Monero). The solution that can be applied here is to install strong anti-virus protection and active Firewall to protect the computer.
Well you are right with the analysis of ways to avoid scam but the first thing to do if you ever want to overcome scam is to stop being too greedy and never get easily move by too much unrealistic promises from projects you never hard first hand information on. Because most people want to get rich quick and at that most times run into scam.
855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fees have been low after Segwit's growing adoption. Thanks Segwit. on: October 30, 2018, 07:25:14 PM
After Segwit, the fees have been becoming very low. But expect it to be high again once the bull market returns or someone floods the mempool again. The good news is that it will be expensive for the spammers to flood the network. Let's dare them to do it again to show the whole community that Bitcoin's blocks can reach 2mb because Segwit. Cool

Its a good thing to see that fees have become relatively low due to segwit as you have said but what also contributed to the low transactions fees is also the down market because once the bull market returned the fee will still get hick again and until then let keep enjoying the moment doing our normal transactions with low fees.
856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tax Collector to Accept Bitcoin on: October 30, 2018, 07:21:03 PM
That is a good step in the right direction for cryptocurrency to be accepted for payment of tax shows that the world is gradually getting to embrace digital currency which will allow for smart and secured payment process, bitpay is a well known exchange which will guarantee safety in the whole process.
857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what are you gonna do? on: October 28, 2018, 07:15:45 PM
Well no body gives any assurance to the progress of the market so at that the bullish may never come when expected and that is the volatility natural of the bitcoin/cryptocurrency market, no body have the capacity to predicte the future market of any coin since it only answer to the forces of demands. If you believe that the market is going to rise to your expectations at a given time you will end up frustrated at the end.
858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China: Man Sentenced to Prison for Stealing Railway Electricity to Mine Bitcoin on: October 28, 2018, 07:11:42 PM
This are the kind of activities that always give bitcoin the bad image we constantly witness because many get involved in several illegal activities all for the sake of earning bitcoin and at the end the government only look at bitcoin as an evil development, bitcoin mining with a stolen power supply will only benefit the user and not the bitcoin network if you truly wish to go into any business activities you should at list be ready to bear the cost rather then manipulating your way to make money.
859  Economy / Speculation / Re: How is bitcoin this year on: October 28, 2018, 06:43:28 PM
Bitcoin has witness so much challenges in this year 2018 and since the bitcoin market is highly down the alcoin market have also witness a lot of price fall the blood Barth in this year have been high and many project have failed this year but I believe in the year 2019 the market is going to recover to a great extent and more success is going to be recorded.
860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs and listing on: October 27, 2018, 09:20:57 PM
Our ICO, XAYA, actually hosted our mainsale and Liquid which ended earlier this month, and trading is set to start there tomorrow. I don't think it's difficult for LEGIT coinsales to get traded.
Yours is just one among hundreds who eventually made it to the exchange to enable trading but the fact still remains that so many icos in this year 2018 never made it to the exchange and any coin not listed is term to be worthless because trading can not take place without it being listed, I have hold a coin for more then seven month's now and no exchange which made it so frustrating.
