841  Economy / Computer hardware / [closed] [WTS] Riser cables/extenders (15 total, a few different kinds) on: July 11, 2012, 03:53:50 PM
Previous listing finished, but I still have 3 x1-to-x16 cables remaining. Let me know if you want them and make an offer. Cancelling the last 3 cables.

SOLD

I've got 15 riser cables up that I need to get rid of. There are 11 x16-to-x16 unpowered, one x16-to-x16 powered, 2 x1-to-x16 unpowered, and one x1-to-x1 unpowered extenders.
The newest ones are the 4 in the picture on the left, with a little "tail" retaining clip off the end of the female connector. They have connectors marked "Linkstar". The next 3 have connectors that are marked "Winning", the powered riser has a Lotes connector, the x1-to-x1 has a Foxconn connector, the x1-to-x16 risers use "Winning" connectors, and the final 4 have Lotes connectors.

I want to sell them all at once, so I'm putting them up for a good price. Most of them should be working, but I'm selling AS IS just in case a few don't work as expected. Caveat emptor.
Asking $75  $55 for all of them including shipping to the US and Canada. Payable in BTC, MtGox codes, or Dwolla. Feel free to offer what you think they are worth.

Wonder what Satoshi IQ is... 140+ ?
Even though it doesn't mean anything.

122/140 from doing this one. My brain is burning from the symbols.
I got 90 because I couldn't be arsed to complete the damn thing.
845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] The world's first handheld Bitcoin device, the Ellet! on: July 11, 2012, 02:25:31 PM
I'm posting the other thread in a minute. Need to clear some details with investors.

How long could a Matthew minute be for the rest of the world?
Let's try:
Bitcoin Magazine: "weeks" -> "months"
Ellet: "next week" -> "not anytime soon"
So are are there any mathematicians here that can compute this?

Haven't you figured it out yet? He's colluding with BFL to offer the longest delays ever!

Hopefully not.  I remember at one point they were almost fanatical in their support.  I considered sockpuppets but honest I don't think Bruce is that smart.

Oh, Bruce knows how to work sockpuppets!

Yeah this kind maybe:

848  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BitMinter miner (Win/Linux/Mac, NEW: Supports FPGA devices from Butterfly Labs) on: July 11, 2012, 01:06:36 PM
Yes it will work with singles, and yes it is a well-done bit of software. However, you can't just use it anywhere, although bitminter is an excellent pool to be on.

I hope I sent it to the right person. I even added to it hoping that it gains another 7% interest from the person I sent it to.

It's going to need the 7%, because my empty wallet doesn't have enough for the transaction fee. Undecided

Lies, there was plenty to process it.

EDIT: Scratch that, you said you used blockchain.info?
Yeah, I just saw you included enough for me to send, and for the next person as well. Thanks! https://blockchain.info/tx-index/11864681/77044a163a2e17d3f67d1701e5eb326d67cc92b54c8fd02a8337abc059e4140a

Well I finally got it to work briefly.  I did read all the rest of the thread.  Anyway I kept playing with it and trying different ways of connecting to my pool and finally got one to work.  I was getting about 2000 mh/s and it went along for a while until my Internet got interrupted.  When it came back on I can no longer get it to work.  I will start it and the bitcoin miner will quit and I get a message saying so.  I am inputting the same thing that worked before and can't figure out what is going wrong.  What I am trying is C:\"Program Files (x86)"\Ufasoft\Coin\bitcoin-miner-64.exe -a 5 -v -o http://username:password@pool.bitclockers.com:8332.  It will start and then stop before it actually starts hashing and I get a message that bitcoin miner has stopped working.  I am sorry to be asking such noob questions but I would like to get this working.
The quotes go like this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Ufasoft\Coin\bitcoin-miner-64.exe" -a 5 -v -o http://username:password@pool.bitclockers.com:8332

I got! See ya!

Seriously, who do I send it to next?

~Al--The most trusted alpaca in the world!~
To all of your sockpuppets of course, to fake-bump the thread for all the noobs to salivate over.

Yeah as much as I like StartSSL usually, the OCSP issue has been reoccurring and annoying, especially since I strictly validate OCSP in my browser.
855  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Anonymous Ads - bitcoin advertising network on: July 11, 2012, 01:28:33 AM
However I think I do block third-party cookies, if that makes a difference.

Well, then it explains everything. When your browser requests an image (http://anonymousads.com/userbar/1 in this case), the server chooses the image and sends the cookie to your browser.. So when you click the link, it knows where to redirect. If you don't accept cookies, this mechanism wouldn't work and you get redirected to the list of ads to choose the one you need manually.

I see so that only affects image links? Because I do accept first party and session cookies.
856  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Anonymous Ads - bitcoin advertising network on: July 11, 2012, 01:20:12 AM
Well I figured ABP might be screwing it up, but even after disabling it I still only have the following cookies:

PHPSESSID
__utma
__utmb
__utmc
__utmz

However I think I do block third-party cookies, if that makes a difference.

I've been getting some really weird spam recently to only one of my addresses. What's weird about them is that absolutely none of the email appears in the body, because the mailer fucked up the headers, as follows:

The mail servers are different every time, as is the computer-generated content and addresses. The space after http: in the spam link was actually there, and that's why my DNSBL didn't mark it.
