841  Economy / Economics / Re: Free Investment tips on: September 21, 2023, 09:27:30 PM
Time is the only free from the things you mentioned.

Education, health, network, skills, and financial literacy ain't free. You have to spend something to maintain and gain something from these. We can't help but to spend to something we want to invest, that's why it is called investment, it will always come with a price because it is gonna give us reward that could help us in the long run depending on how we're going to use it.
I definitely agree on this. Investment takes some risks to gain rewards after that is why we need to make efforts in it so we can achieved our set goals. Even if it means spending some time and money to gain those rewards. However, with time, yes it can be attained at a free basis but sometimes time is very limited. That’s why if you don’t invest a lot of time for yourself, you might never get what you are expecting to achieve.
842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: September 21, 2023, 06:43:55 AM

Going back into the topic about against Tapales, then it would really be a good opportunity for Tapales on hitting two birds on one stone. #1 he would be a unified champion #2 he do able to beat up
the unbeatable monster which its a record that would really be that worth.

Both fighters have an equal opportunity in this bout, but if Inoue were to lose, it could have a significant impact on his future. He may find it challenging to continue moving up in the ranks, as his perceived strength might not hold up. The pressure on Inoue is quite high, with the world cheering for him, so winning this fight is crucial for him.
I think both of them have huge pressures, for Marlon, this is his biggest fight obviously and he wants to bring glory to the Philippines again. For Inoue, he wants to maintain his status in the p4p list and he is fighting again in front of his hometown.

But with his impeccable records of knocking out his opponents, I guess majority here knows that it's a hard task for Tapales to upset Inoue and as someone says, he needs all the luck to be able to pull that.
True, but people would understand if Tapales were to lose because he was viewed as a heavy underdog in this fight. However, if Tapales were to win, although both are champions, people would think it's a huge upset. So it's easier for Tapales to move on if he loses, while Inoue might be mentally affected if he were to lose in a fight that most of the fans from both sides believed he would win. And to think they even thought it will be just an easy fight for him.
843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 21, 2023, 05:53:26 AM
However, the burden is for Casimero to come up with big wins before he could fight Inoue, or at least Top Rank and his Japanese counterpart will be interested. So with the Oguni fight and the video resurfacing that Casimero is trying hard because he wants to fight Inoue next, it should be interesting on how Casimero will dispatch Oguni in their fight.

On paper, yes, but among the fans, Inoue dodging Casimero will have a negative impact on his legacy. Just like Mayweather, who is undeniably a great fighter and was undefeated when he retired, but people still talk more about Pacman and believe that he had a better career than Mayweather. I think in boxing, it's the fans who should be followed, and since they want to see Inoue fight Casimero, I think the champion should make that happen.

It's not good for Inoue, though. He has some baggage left as he moves up in weight. As long as Casimero is still active in boxing, people will continue to link him to Inoue. I also think that if Inoue were to move up, Casimero might follow, especially if his goal is to prove to the world that he can beat Inoue, whom he called a turtle.

Let's not be quick to judge; there's another chance that the anticipated fight is going to happen. Just take the words from Inoue; they will stay for a while, so it could possibly imply that he is willing to fight Casimero. The thing is, Inoue has been defeating Filipino boxers while Casimero has been defeating Japanese boxers. So let's be optimistic that eventually, they will face each other.
844  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: All business need to risk, so not only crypto! on: September 20, 2023, 09:58:18 PM
All businesses involve risk so the reality is that you should have the ability to take risks.

Everyone says crypto Is high risk is it really true? My guess is less because a lot of people have had success with this crypto.
Some are investing and some are making a lot of money by trading. So why can't you?
There are high rate of successful traders that are now living their dreams, but did you know that there are even higher percentage those who lose from crypto trading and now are blaming crypto for that. So you cannot tell easily that crypto can offer get rich quick and has lower risk to deal with. As far as I know, crypto trading or investing have definitely bigger risk than any other type of investment.
845  Economy / Economics / Re: Building wealth it's not just one time Luck on: September 20, 2023, 09:45:57 PM
Totally agree with what everyone is saying, regardless of whether that success comes from luck or because we inherited it.  but if we don't know how to manage it, no matter how big that asset is, it will one day disappear.

But I want to emphasize one thing, luck is indispensable when it comes to anyone's success.  although sometimes we will see a lot of successful people coming from poor backgrounds, or working hard to achieve success, I believe that without luck, no matter how talented they are, they will not succeed if luck does not come to them.  we must not be lazy and rely only on luck, but we also cannot deny that luck is a part of our success.
The problem is that these two things will be inversely proportional in terms of the process and the achievements received.
Not everyone is born rich and many people don't get anything to inherit from their parents because of previous factors that also have the same life strata.
On the other hand, we also actually have to believe that being born from a rich person and being born from a poor person, the start will definitely be different. When someone is born to a rich person then they will have a much greater privilege and easier to be successful in the future. Apart from the existing capital, they will also be educated much better than when we live in a low economic strata.
It does not mean that poor people cannot become rich, but even when we have a different start we have a strong desire and can have great achievements, the results will still not be equalised in my opinion and it is precisely with this great achievement that makes the degree different.
There will always be distinction no matter what, and we can't do nothing to change that. Rich will always have more advantages and opportunities than poor ones. That's why building wealth for them is easier and more accessible. Unlike these poor people who have been struggling the whole time, no matter how lucky they are, it will be harder for them to achieve wealth even if they are also intelligent and well skilled.
846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No KYC vs KYC enabled casinos (Facts you need to know) on: September 20, 2023, 02:32:52 AM
The people have already made their choice, and it's clear they prefer a KYC casino over a non-KYC casino. I believe it's more appropriate to refer to it as 'decentralized gambling' because some casinos claim to be non-KYC but are still regulated. It's important to question the longevity of such claims. When a casino is regulated, it's obligated to adhere to the implementing rules set by regulators, including KYC compliance. So, it's wise not to trust those that claim to be non-KYC casinos.
Clearly, there's no guarantee that a casino will continue operating as a non-KYC platform, as government policies can change over time. Perhaps there's a specific threshold of funds that would trigger KYC requirements, and yet casinos may not make this information readily available to potential gamblers to avoid discouraging them. Instead, this requirement is often buried in the Terms of Service (TOS), and many gamblers simply click the 'Sign Up' button without reading the full TOS, remaining unaware of the KYC conditions.

Although everyone want to play at the non KYC casino but the risk playing their and getting our money stuck is more as compare to the kyc casinos.

Sometimes the non-KYC casino may not ask for KYC until you won some big amounts. Or they can even ask for the KYC if you deposit any big amount in the casino. For this reason, i will usually deposit less in a Non-KYC casino so in case they ask for KYC or do not accept my KYC, in both cases my risk of losing money will be minimized.

That's how you manage the risk. When a casino isn't regulated, there's a higher chance of losing money, and it becomes virtually impossible to recover your funds if they go dark. That's why, even though there are many casinos with good reputations that lack a license, I still consider them high-risk casinos.
847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zhang Vs Joyce II WBO Interim World Heavyweight Championship on: September 20, 2023, 02:03:07 AM

By the 1st round, we can already determine who will. If Zhang still wins this fight, he must deserve a title shot. How crazy would that sound that a Chinese HW becomes a champion in WBO? Only in this era.

I almost forgot this thread that I created on the Zhang - Joyce match yes, I agree with you most of the rematches just pick out where they left off in the first three rounds we can see if there's an improvement on Joyce and Zhang will still dominate the jabs, Zhang Jabs is very dominant on their first match I was in awe how that jabs went through Joyce faces.

Everyone was shocked by the outcome but more so in the first round when Zhang established his dominance.
Let's see if the first round will the like the first round of their first fight.

Could this fight turn out like Fury vs. Wilder? On paper, Joyce is the superior boxer, but the outcome of the first fight has added an element of unpredictability. With the odds now even, bettors who believe in Joyce's comeback have a good opportunity. A knockout is quite likely, which should also make the odds more enticing.
848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Just HODL But HODL Wisely and Securely on: September 19, 2023, 09:44:29 PM
Hodling is one way to make you profitable in the crypto market. But you should only hold only those coins with high potentials, and bitcoin is a perfect example. Acquire knowledge about bitcoin and understand how it can make you profitable before you decide to buy and hold. And once you have bitcoin, make sure to secure your wallet away from those hackers waiting to attack. Keep your own privacy and never let others know that you are into bitcoin investment so that they won’t be eyeing on you.
849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there real sports bet groups on: September 19, 2023, 06:11:45 AM
Gambling group especially on telegram is a good one for those of us that would like to extend our gambling to the next level and also with predictions on sport bet and other sports too.
I respectfully disagree. The concept of extending to the next level only applies if we are winning. However, I doubt that a Telegram group can guarantee profitability for every gambler who joins. Most of these groups make false promises, and only those who lack proper education in gambling may fall for them. Furthermore, relying solely on shared picks doesn't help a gambler improve their knowledge and skills in gambling.

851  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you had AI day trade bitcoin to make profits on: September 17, 2023, 04:26:32 PM
If this is going to generate money easily, I'll find it very sketchy. Despite having the support of an AI, it's still a must to be knowledgeable about how to do it manually. But if someone proves that he's doing it, maybe there's a catch as that person should keep himself quiet and just enjoy what he's having. Anyway, are there really traders that are making their trades profitable with the use of AI? I don't quite understand how to do that since there are the features already from exchanges that allows you to trade with bots.
Most likely, trading with AI will only be profitable if the trader itself has high experience in trading, hence having high knowledge and potential skills when trading are also a must. Otherwise, if you are still a beginner trader and take risk trading with AI, it wont create guarantees that you’ll definitely be profitable in the end. And if ever AI trading bots are useful for them, I guess they will not care to share it with other traders but will chose to keep it on their own and make consistent profits.
852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Typical scenario when you are losing on: September 17, 2023, 03:57:36 PM
Yes, there are many points that completely coincide. I don’t play or place bets if I’m tired, this has already been proven more than once. The result will most often be only negative. First of all, you must be in the mood and strength, then you can do it. If the event is of a global scale, then I can ask my friends to place a bet for me in advance, but not for a large amount, just as much as I am willing to spend.

Well, this has to do with something with your readiness and not just that you are tired and you will lose. This is no logic.

Yes. when you are fresh, you will think more before placing the bet, you will research more and therefore the chances of winning the bet will increase as compared to a situation where you are tired and just place the bet. Although there is no hard and fast rule, that you will win the bet only when you are fresh and energetic, you can still lose the bet in both situations.

Of course, that is how you do it because in betting, even if it's just a sports-betting, it still requires analyzations and comparison of datum to minimize risks while increasing your chances. So, if you're already tired for the day then there should be no reason for you to bet even if you can still afford it as you will just be prone to a defeat because you are not in 100 percent condition. A lot of factors should be considered in betting, hence why gamblers should be ready for everything.
853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 17, 2023, 03:29:34 PM
Same here, it's kind of late already since Casimero is still fighting to have a decent rank in this weight class and on the other hand, Naoya Inoue is already on his way unifying all the belts against Tapales. After that, we're still unsure if Inoue will still remain in this division if he already achieved his goal as the undisputed champion because there is also that other chance that Inoue will climb again.

I don't know why others are having that as a problem.

Casimero is fighting to get back in the champion list, not to chase Inoue or what. It doesn't matter anymore if Inoue will climb up to the next division if he wins against Tapales in their unification fight. Casimero just needs to follow his own timeline and win as much as possible in all of his next fights until he is in a title match regardless of who will be his opponent.

If it is destined that he will face Inoue soon, then so be it. His career is not all about facing Inoue in the first place. I know it's really exciting to watch the face-off between Inoue and Casimero but Quadro Alas can move forward even without fighting Inoue.

We cannot really blame them for thinking about it, I mean they are just thinking what they think is best for him that is why they wanted somebody else and not this Oguni because this fight will not help him in his case and becaus Casimero himself haven't said either that he is already done chasing towards Inoue and will instead take his own pace.

So, it's quite normal and somewhat understandable if they, the fans, will still assume the same scenario that Casimero is still interested against Inoue.
854  Economy / Economics / Re: To afford personal education or a property? Where to allocate funds? on: September 17, 2023, 10:31:43 AM
A property is a long term investment for the future and a land can generate money through being rented or for growing crops but then you have more money to put in and a slowing down of growth. On the other hand education is something that will be a short term thing but gives you an edge over others. The future prospect will be much better if you have a degree and then think of a property.

However family problems and financial constraints are important to consider here. If you are in need of money education will have to wait but keep in mind that as you grow old the chances of going through the education grind is tough.
Probably, your post is as good as to say that property is more valuable than getting quality education, and I definitely agree with this. What we need in life is to achieve daily survival, and with education alone, it won’t guarantee that we will live our lives comfortably. But if we chose both education and property, we can expect that what we will attain in the future is the bigger picture of our initial expectations. Unfortunately, only rich people can easily afford to obtain both.
855  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What did you do After Reaching your Bitcoin Goal? on: September 17, 2023, 10:02:34 AM
Bitcoin is limitless for me so I don’t think my bitcoin goal has certainly an end. In fact, my goal is to never stop collecting bitcoin until all my spare money are used up. Through DCA, even if my purchases are not that big, at least I’d be able to continuously fill my portfolio with bitcoin. When time comes I’d be able to gain maximum profits, probably I will also start buying some properties in the center of the city so that I can use them to gain passive income once commercial businesses start renting on my space.
856  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Calm the pressure on: September 16, 2023, 08:51:59 PM
Calm the pressure my dear friends, don't borrow money, I repeat, don't borrow money to invest on Cryptocurrency, because it is a volatile asset. Life is about risk which you have heard  countless times but it will be unwise to take loan to buy bitcoins.
Well, if someone offers me money in the form of long-term loan to pay when I can regardless of the duration, and the person doing it just to assist me financially so I can have my full independence, I will consider accepting such money and investing a very huge percentage of it to bitcoins. If I have not planned any business to invest the money into, investing it first in bitcoins will be what is best for me to do since I know there is a potential for t to be profitable. I do not advice you take loans, but there are some situations where you can accept some kind of money from people who offer you loans with no collateral, no interest, and no duration to pay back.
That will also depend if I have a stable job to rely for my payment later on. Otherwise, I would still decline the offer because not all bitcoin investments end up profitably. So if that's the case, the fact that there's still chances to lose them everything, I will never invest from taking a loan. Borrowing money for any type of investment will only increase the risk of losing.
857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Common Bitcoin ideas on: September 16, 2023, 06:44:13 PM
Liking bitcoin and its forum is not enough. One should establish its passion for bitcoin first and the cryptocurrency market so that he will make a lot of effort to study and understand what the forum is all about.

Forcing the people to get to know bitcointalk and learn from it will not help. It should be their sole decision to enter the forum because they have understood the essence of it in order to be successful with bitcoin.
858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Control Your Emotions and Win More Bets on: September 16, 2023, 04:45:01 PM
Q

Not having enough control over your emotions can also make you more vulnerable to becoming a gambling addict since you wouldn't be able to differentiate between when you need to stop and when you need to start gambling again and that affects your time and activities in normal life.

An unstable emotion is already subjected to consistent playing because you want to chase the losses that you have encountered. Like you have alluded, someone who doesn't have that total control over his emotion is likely to play out all his life savings when he is losing out, such is a bed thing to do but addicts comfortably would do that because they are always in "expectation " of a huge winning that never comes to pass.

But it can be overcome as long as that gambler will dedicate some time to learn the basics of it and know when to start and end an activity towards gambling. Sometimes, we are allowed to chase our losses as long as we know what we are doing and we know the chances of it, but without proper mindset, that gambler will just run in circles without any plans when to stop until he will realize that he is already in the point of no return. Might be unfortunate, but at that time, he will then again have another chance but sadly, he already wasted too much resources in running around.
859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 16, 2023, 04:05:19 PM
Another possibility is if Giannis is willing to adjust with his salary for the sake of another title, which may be far from reality, it's more on
the money side and no longer on any pride or any title in my opinion.

But we never know if he can adjust or if Warriors are also interested in him. Maybe they will adjust or maybe they will be willing to pay
for it and also with the luxury tax obligation.

It will be tough, but we never know how or if it's possible if both camps will agree on something.
That would be a stupid move by Giannis. He is already an MVP and FMVP at the current moment, he is already one of the best, and he already won a title as well. His place at Hall of Fame is already guaranteed, how many title winning MVP's and FMVP's ended up not getting into Hall of Fame before? I am sure none of them ever did.

I think it is quite important to realize that we are going to end up with something that would be a difficult thing in the end. I think the best thing to do would be allowing a situation that would be great to handle on the long term. I hope that it gets to a point where it would have to be something that would be tougher on the money side, he should accept as much money as possible for now.

That all depends to him though, we don't know Giannis that much and that statement of him was already a clue that he is looking forward to another championship title and that is the priority, money comes in second because it will always follow him as long as he can be valuable to any team mainly now that he already proved what he can do in the league. Now, the question that everyone is curious about, will the Milwaukee Bucks do anything about it? Or they will just sit tight again and risk losing Giannis.
