861  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake phishing on: September 03, 2023, 10:37:21 PM
Sorry for your loss OP but Stake is not to blame in this case.
The user is responsible for keeping his credentials safe and secure. I don't see how stake can prevent phishing attacks other than enforcing 2fa on login or use OTP.
I don't know what to say to reconfort you but just consider it an expensive lesson. At least now, you will be very carefull before clicking any link.
862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lotteries and possibility vs. probability on: September 03, 2023, 09:41:22 PM
That's your assumption but people out there don't think so. They think buying 10 tickets a week will give them a chance to win. After all, the ticket numbers will also be different and that's where they think that with different numbers, they can have a chance to win every week. Even though they couldn't win, it was okay for them.

You may also often hear stories about people who have been buying the lottery for more than 5 years but have not been able to win. But in the 6th year, they managed to win the jackpot. So is it wrong if they think about buying their lottery tickets every week, even if it's only 10 tickets? Of course not, mate.

You didn't get my point. The guy who won the lottery after six years could have won it on the first atempt as he could spend his entire life buying tickets without ever winning. It is a matter of luck.
It's not about what I believe, it's about math. Let's suppose the lottery number is 8 digits long. Each ticket you buy gives you 1/108 chance of winning. If you buy 10 tickets your odds are 10/108.
Each round is independent from the previous one.
863  Economy / Gambling / Re: Unethical Practices: Involvement of Bots and Fake Accounts for contest/race on: September 02, 2023, 11:54:02 PM
From the title the OP have given to this thread, anything of these type against the wish of a gambling platform is an unethical practice and should not be condole, why should we use a bot to gamble for us if we are not having an hidden agenda to take advantage on their system, why should a gambler also create a fake account if there's nothing he's trying to keep away from others, anything a casino implement is mostly in favour of the gamblers towards having a better experience only if they can reason together by not creating a fake account and make use of bot where necessary.
Sorry, but you are getting it wrong and you should read the full Original post (mandatory) and most of the replies (optional). You are getting it wrong because OP is talking about misconducts and ethical practices of casinos not of gamblers (customers). OP is accusing casinos of using bots and fake accounts not the players (gamblers). Please, read carefully before responding.
864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: September 02, 2023, 11:39:06 PM
..
I don't know what mortar and brick casinos you frequent but most of those casinos receive as many male customers as female..
There is no difference. When you get into any of these mortar and brick casinos you will see that most of its customers are women. It may be shocking for you, but it is what it is. Women have the right to gamble as much as men do.
865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: September 02, 2023, 10:44:34 PM
It is all about the way how we take it forward. If we can keep ourselves under control, then it is possible to stay out of addiction. Lust is something that can be overcome concentrating on alternative things. Some might fail in it, but there is possible choices. If we consider gambling is similar to lust, then it is controllable. According to me lust on gambling and lust alone have got different meaning. Lust is some sort of feel, but with gambling there is money involved which could cause a negative effect than just lust which is much about feel.
You have raised a very good point and I want to address it. It should be called "lust and gambling".
Let's forget about the common meaning of "lust" (sex). Lust is when you desire something so deeply that nothing can stop you from achieving it. This is the right definition of lust. When you have lust for gambling then, based on the previous definition, nothing can stop you from playing/gambling. Keeping your self busy with something else or focusing on something else to forget about gambling may work if you are not lusting for gambling.

I'm curious as to what your platform looks like. I might even consider playing in your casino if I am able to access it just to try it out. I know that other community members here already voiced out their concerns on your platform due to it being linked to a previous scam site, still my curiosity will not get the better of me and I'd love to see how you implement your dice and mines game. I tried using VPNs to access the site but to no avail.
Don't be too curious. If you are interested in mine games then there are already many legit casinos offering it. There is no reason why somebody would think of depositing money on this so-called casino! If you want to do do after reading all the comments above, then be my guest, go ahead but don't come back here complaining about not being able to withdraw your winnings.
BTW, I still can access the website, so maybe they have restricted access from your country or your country have restricted access to it.
867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lotteries and possibility vs. probability on: September 02, 2023, 09:09:34 PM
And with a small amount of money, people are willing to buy lottery tickets, especially at low prices, they can get lots of tickets. And even if they can't win that round, they will still want to buy the lottery ticket because the money used to buy the ticket is also cheap. Maybe that's how they "save the money" by buying into the lottery and hoping they will be the winners one day. And it has been going on for a long time, and in fact, many people may have bought tickets since they were young and until now have not managed to win. But that doesn't stop them from buying their lottery tickets because a big prize is waiting for them out there.
I'm certain you understand how lottery games work and what the odds of winning in such games are, right! Buying 10 tickets every week or every round for 10 consecutive weeks/rounds, will give you the same chance of winning as when you buy 10*number of weeks/rounds in a single week/round (this may vary depending on how many tickets are being sold on each round). The low price of tickets doesn't mean any thing, it doesn't affect the chances of winning.
868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: September 01, 2023, 11:56:52 PM
But this does not mean that everyone cannot control the gambling activities they do. I'm sure when someone is aware of the losses in the gambling activities they are doing, they will slowly try to control them. And be a responsible gambler. And it's just a matter of time, the sooner he realizes the "loss" he is experiencing, the sooner he will try to control himself.
I have to disagree with this. Addiction isn't something you can control or choose to have it or not. Anyone is prone to addiction but on different levels. It depends on how vulnerable the person in question is. Everyone know that gambling is not always profitable and that the chances of losing are higher than those of losing but they keep playing till they become addicts. Knowing the risks doesn't exempt you from becoming an addict.
869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto betting on: September 01, 2023, 11:34:19 PM
in this forum alone, you will already get tons of good reviews under the gambling discussion board. so if you happen to find this forum, you will likely find out these reputable casinos to play with.
you can also check the validity of the reviews if you will actually play on the site. but if you are in doubt, just use small amount of money to test the site.

That's the good thing about forums in general. Users can interact with each other and correct each other. If someone sees a member sharing wrong information either intentionally or not which may mislead whoever reads it, he can easily login and correct him. What makes bitcointalk exceptional is that it encourages free speech. So, you don't have to worry about your opinions being censored.
You can't see that on mist of review websites.
870  Economy / Gambling / Re: 999LUCKYDICE GAMBLING SINCE on: September 01, 2023, 11:07:06 PM
Can you at least post the complete link to your casino. Some of are too lazy to type it manually or copy paste it.
I have to agree with the comments above. There are too many red flags and the first thing I noticed is the stats of your casino (number of players and the total wagerered amount) which don't match how old the website is. Also on the top of the main page, you claim that your casino is licensed but I can't find any proof for that.
And why unregistered users can't access the provably fair page!
871  Economy / Gambling / Re: Empire.io | Free Payouts, VPN-Friendly, No Upfront KYC & 1 BTC bonus! on: September 01, 2023, 10:39:54 PM
We made an exclusive promotion for Bitcoin Talk users, and you can find it in the games and rounds section here>https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5465313.new#new
This is a nice promotion, indeed. I noticed that you already have a similar one but with slightly different terms which lasts longer (three days).
The nice thing about this exclusive promotion for the bitcointalk community is that it has a lower wagering requirement (20x instead of 30x).
I just want to ask if the value of free spins is the same for both promotions, being $0.2 per spin?
872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: September 01, 2023, 09:42:15 PM
As for those that are already addicted to gambling, they can either quit or they can adjust how they risk money for gambling, either way, it depends on whether they have made up their minds or not.
This is a bit confusing, to be honest. Being an addict to something means that you can't stop doing it or, at best, it's hard to stop doing it. So, how do you suggest those gambling addicts to quit gambling just by deciding to do so. If it was that easy for them then they wouldn't be addicts in first place!

So what I'm telling you is that you have to understand the difference between the secret behind being addicted in gambling knowingly and unknowingly
Do you mind expending more on this? What do you mean by being addict knowingly and being addict unknowingly?
873  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot - Crash with the lowest house edge on: August 31, 2023, 11:57:56 PM
You have a catchy domain name, a nice and clean website design, one of the most attractive games and most of all, the house edge is really enticing.
However, since this is an announcement thread which is supposed to be used to advertise your casino, I suggest you make it more attractive (an image says more than a thousand words), especially that you have already bought the copper membership.
874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do anyone have done this? with gambling platforms on: August 31, 2023, 11:32:50 PM
^^
Guys, you need to understand that casinos will not ask you to pass kyc only when you try to withdraw a huge amount. Many of them randomly pick some gamblers on a regular basis and ask them to submit their documents (Random cross checking), just like that without any reason.
So, if you think you are safe just because you withdraw small amounts, think again.
Besides, what are you going to do if you get lucky and hit the jackpot? You will tell them: thank you, I don't want it!
875  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loophole in stopping Money Laundering through Wagering on: August 31, 2023, 11:08:07 PM
I wonder if many Casinos would do that or would be willing to do that , because if they Want to collect and avoid money laundering and say no to the alleged money laundering, they should do it that way , which is much Better , that's how it is They come from many reasons, misunderstandings on the part of the players and misunderstandings on the part of the casino,
Some crypto casinos do that. They are not that many but the request their customers to verify their identities upon registration and before making their very first deposit.
Personally, I appreciate that but, to be honest, we have to admit that not all casinos can do it as it's not good for their business. They know that many customers will just close the browser's tab and move to another casino if they are forced to pass kyc upon registration.
As I said, it's understandable but whether it's ethical or not, that's another matter.
876  Economy / Gambling / Re: l0tt0.com on: August 31, 2023, 10:38:28 PM
we have a twitter/x account... https://twitter.com/L0TT0_com
You can add social media links in bottom of the l0tt0 homepage, maybe with additional share button for bets won.
I was going to suggest the same otherwise how would anyone know about the existance of the Twitter account. I'm sure you will get many more followers if you add the link at the button of the casino homepage.
You may also consider creating a tg channel for gamblers to interact with each other especially that there is no chat box on the casino's website.
877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto betting on: August 31, 2023, 10:16:55 PM
Community feedback is one of the most important things one should consider before joining a platform because when you see multiple people rating a certain platform, you can have an idea how they actually are and you won't need to join the platform just to test it yourself since you will have to make a deposit for that as well.
I wouldn't recommend a new gambler to test many casinos at the same time, either. Community feedbacks is a good way to decide which casinos he needs to start with and which ones he needs to avoid. However, he needs to be carefull and don't believe all the feedbacks he reads on the internet as many of them are fake or simply written by inexperienced gamblers who do not know what they are talking about or how to make a proper review.
