861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino is a Games of Chance and Entertainment on: September 30, 2023, 03:45:56 PM
The outcome of the majority of casino games is mostly controlled by luck rather than ability. Examples that are often used include craps, roulette, and slot machines. Players wager on numerous outcomes in these games, and the casino has an inherent advantage that ensures they will profit in the long term.
Casino gaming is a popular source of entertainment. Instead of looking at it as a means of making money, players should approach it with the intention of having fun.

Yes! This has always been and should be people's correct perception of what the purpose of a casino is.
But, you need to realize that it's not entirely people's fault, because the way casinos win over their customers is quite controversial.

Have you ever seen a casino advertising the following: "Come and have fun playing our games and enjoy pleasant hours of leisure"? Obviously not!!
What they publish is: "Come and win a lot of money at our casino, with an initial bonus of XX dollars and cashback..." the appeal is always for the financial issue.

We don't blame them, after all marketing is the soul of every business, and any company will always do its best to attract its customers within what is legal under the laws of their countries.
862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ban from a Casino for Nothing Other Than Winning Too Much Money on: September 30, 2023, 03:40:25 PM
Let's take a moment to think about this and tell me if I am correct. All of the people whom I have observed getting banned from gambling at casinos by the casino management, aside from misconduct and other offenses, are individuals who keep winning significant amounts of money. For instance, consider Dana White.
Quote
He has been prohibited from playing at some of the city’s best casinos, including the Wynn and the Palms, due to his high-stakes gambling habits.  The UFC president is an avid gambler who has won substantial sums of money while spending hours at the tables in his chosen state of Nevada. But after some of his spectacular winning streaks, large hotel and casino locations like the Wynn have previously given him trouble. https://www.insidesport.in/accused-of-bankrupting-hotel-dana-white-explains-getting-banned-racking-up/#:~:text=He%20has%20been%20prohibited%20from,his%20chosen%20state%20of%20Nevada.

The way I perceive it is that if a person who is not cheating or engaging in illegal gambling activities consistently wins, the casino is highly likely to ban that person, just as they did with Dana White.

The truth is... no company is obliged to maintain business relationships with any person. At least in my country that's how it works, obviously there cannot be a discriminatory reason for this, as it would constitute a crime.
So, looking at this rule, I see that casinos would also not be obliged to accept a "successful" customer who only brings them losses.
However, it is necessary to understand how this ban works, because if the user has not done anything illegal, the casino could ban the player as long as he pays what he has already won, as it is illegal for him to retain amounts honestly won by the player.
If this is not what is happening, then the casino is in fact taking abusive and irregular action.
863  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Bitcoin reconhecida na China on: September 29, 2023, 02:24:58 AM

864  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Lazy jobs e o bitcointalk on: September 29, 2023, 02:09:56 AM

865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Conmebol Libertadores 2023 - Prediction and Discussion Thread on: September 29, 2023, 02:02:55 AM
What are your bets guys?

I'm still believing in Palmeiras' victory in the game that's happening now, I hope they qualify and face Internacional in the championship final.

Speaking of Internacional.... what game he played against Fluminense, did you see? There were high emotions in the 4 goals of the match.
The final will be in Beira Rio, at Internacional house, and obviously I am confident and betting on Colorado's victory.

This championship started without me having much confidence in my team, but that has certainly changed.

Internacional and Palmeiras, that's my guess for the championship final.
866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting Tips for Consistent Profits on: September 29, 2023, 01:57:06 AM
In sports betting, we risk our money, our hard earned dollars, for potential monetary rewards. So we must weigh the risk against the reward.

Weighing risk versus reward is discovering underlay and overlay opportunities.

It is also important to remember that the favorite does not always win!!!

A very good example that I carry throughout my life is the 2018 tennis season, more specifically when Nadal faced Fognini in the opening in Barcelona, and the Spaniard was everyone's favorite.
Of course, Nadal has a long history of victories on land and so it is normal that he has been the favorite for a long time, after all he has won the tournament 8 times. However, the only person who could "challenge" a Nadal victory was Dkojovic.
And what the bookmakers didn't take into account is that Fognini had already beaten Nadal a few months earlier, in Rio de Janeiro. He is also in excellent shape, after obtaining good results against important players with good rankings.

Only those who were very informed in this sport were considering a possible defeat for Nadal... for someone who had knowledge of tennis, this data was more than enough to make the Italian's high odds much more attractive to make a profit. So much so that Fognini eliminated Nadal from the tournament by defeating him by two sets to zero.

So, in fact, you need to know very well the sports you are betting on, be well informed about recent news and also the history that few find relevant... and bet against the house odds whenever you have the chance.
867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Youth Gambling on: September 29, 2023, 01:46:55 AM
Among young people is a result of the availability of gambling alternatives, such as sports betting and online gambling. Gambling disorders can have long-term effects on a person's ability to complete their education and choose their future, and young individuals may be particularly susceptible to acquiring these illnesses

I totally agree with you.
Because an adult who plays frequently, in most cases already has a source of income (with which he feeds the game) and has already completed his school education, in addition to having chosen what his "destiny in life" will be.

For a young person, gambling can certainly distort this vision of the future, making them believe that they can be successful in life just with the income from betting and addicting them to an unhealthy habit and thus taking away their energy. them for this very important phase of life.

Unfortunately, 18 years old, the age at which all countries now allow gambling, is still an age at which many people are still deciding their future, and should not get involved with gambling.
868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 28, 2023, 02:15:41 AM
Guisarry achieved incredible statistics. He scored 11 goals in 22 matches last year, but he has already achieved the best statistics not only in the Bundesliga but also in the world, with 10 goals in 5 matches. He achieved a statistic of 2 goals per match. If he is going to be transferred from Stuttgart, Milan should consider him.

So....the strikers really start the Bundesliga on a high note. Harry Kane arrived at Bayern as the new protagonist of the championship. Victor Boniface is destroying for Leverkusen, while Loïs Openda generates expectations at RB Leipzig. Others like Jonas Wind (Wolfsburg) and Kevin Behrens (Union Berlin) also maintain an average of one goal per game at the start of the campaign. However, no one is more destructive than Serhou Guirassy, doubling the marks. What the Stuttgart center forward does is astonishing. There are ten goals in the first five matches, equaling the Bundesliga record. This Friday, Guirassy opened the round with two goals and an assist in the 3-1 win over Darmstadt at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.

Guirassy managed to repeat a milestone that only Robert Lewandowski had recorded in the history of the Bundesliga. The Pole scored ten goals in the first five rounds of 2020/21. The Guinean manages to do the same for Stuttgart. It is worth remembering that, in that edition, Lewa finished the championship with 41 goals – breaking Gerd Müller's historic record, with 40 goals in 1971/72. The mission for Guirassy is extremely difficult, but mathematics allows us to dream.

871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: September 28, 2023, 01:46:01 AM
Boys. It is time to quit gamble. I created a topic about taking gambling as a major income or not and fought a lot of kind people who held an opposite point. I own them a truly apology. I am sorry. No matter who you are, gambling is only for fun. Never take it as income at anytime. If you are still gambling, you should quit now. If you cannot quit by yourself, there are so many channels to help you. Even you can talk to me. I will do my best to help you.

For me, there was a time when I considered gambling as a possibility to make money, but luckily that never actually happened because I was always very unlucky at casino games (or maybe it's because I was really bad) and that's why the addiction couldn't take over me (I think).
Today, I bet mainly on sports games, because I love football and that's why I complement this passion with betting in casinos, but of course... it's all for fun.

Stop betting? Like all addictions, it is certainly not easy to eradicate, it is something that takes time and can often only be done with the help of someone very close to you or a professional.
872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why gambling beginners must not joke with casino announcement on: September 28, 2023, 01:38:41 AM
A quick warning to all gambling beginners, the most attractive ways that scam gambling websites get to you is bonuses and undeniable offers, I can see some new online casinos coming up with attracting bonuses to make you deposit some money and gamble, while they still have no reputation build yet but the offers are too good to the eye that you want to try it out, be cautious.

Important topics, but it must be remembered that many honest casinos that are starting from scratch also face technological problems, a lack of reputation and a wide catalog of games. So it is not possible to generalize.

But, even so, I agree with your analysis and would like to add a few more points....

1. Check the Online Casino License
The first step to identifying a fraudulent online casino is to check whether it has a valid license from a reputable gaming authority. Licenses are issued by government bodies and will let you know if the site complies with safety regulations and standards. This is the least every bettor should do.

2. Read Online Reviews
It is important to read reviews about the online casino before registering with that website, especially on social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. New casinos may not have a lot of feedback, but if there are a lot of negative comments or reports about the site, it may be best to avoid playing there.

3. Use common sense
When you in doubt about an site, please... use your common sense and trust on your instincts.
A reputable casino should have all necessary security measures in place, such as data encryption and secure payment systems. Welll... if you have any doubts about a site then it is best to avoid playing on it Wink
873  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: TalkImg.com - Alojamento de Imagem Dedicado ao BitcoinTalk on: September 27, 2023, 02:13:12 AM
Eu tava lembrando aqui...

875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Credit card gambling fuels gambling addiction on: September 27, 2023, 01:58:10 AM
I don't know how deep the debt on credit card gambling is today until I do my own research and mehn, and it's very sad, many people are in debt because they keep using their credit cards to fund their gambling hunger.

In my honest opinion, the use of credit cards should only be allowed for purchases of significant amounts, such as a vehicle, a more expensive appliance, or things like that.
Any purchase for common day-to-day use should only be paid for with the money that people have, as what is for daily use (day-to-day consumption) should only be paid for with the money that the person has.
When the credit card is used for everyday purchases, it ends up becoming just a way of postponing debts and not making it possible to acquire an asset that would be impossible with just the money you have in cash.

In the case of gambling, the situation certainly gets worse, as it mixes up the player's emotions and many only realize the severity of the problem when they have reached the card's usage limit.
876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which games offer the best chance of a big win? on: September 27, 2023, 01:51:00 AM
Let's settle this! Based on your experience which game is more likely to bring a big win - slots, table games or crypto games?

On one hand, I know slots bring in large X's, but it is quite rare and you have to be really lucky. On the other hand, I saw people get massive multipliers on crypto games like Crash after a couple of minutes of playing. So which is it?

When we talk about betting, I would always say that sports games are the best options, as they are the only ones in which the player's experience and skill count much more than luck, which will always be in favor of the house.

But, sports games are not even on your list, as we are talking about physical casinos (it seems so to me). In this case, in my opinion, table games are the ones that give the player the greatest chance of winning, but only if we are talking about card games, for example, in which it is possible to use your skills to obtain a greater advantage.

In general, you will have more profits in all games in which the luck factor has reduced relevance in the game's outcome. Because as I said before, the odds will always be in favor of the house.
877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you seen gambling advertisements on TV? Opinion. on: September 27, 2023, 01:46:01 AM
While watching TV with my kid, I've watched various advertisements of gambling nature (let's say for example, Rummy123, RummyCircle, A23 Rummy, etc.)
These are all specifically Indian ads, but I'm sure you may have seen various gambling advertisements, some banners at boundaries when cricket is ongoing, even in any other sport. How would a kid ignore those things, they might just come and ask you about what is it. Till when can we lie to them? Don't you think that the frequency of such ads must be less in order to let the kids not get trapped into gambling and don't do it at such a small age?

Currently, sports betting advertisements are even on the uniforms of teams and athletes, unfortunately this is something that cannot be returned.
What should you respond to your child? That sports betting is something for adults, that it is highly addictive and is harmful to us if used abusively, in the same way that you should make your children aware of the use of alcohol and cigarettes, which is also something that is permitted, however with high risk for people who use it indiscriminately.

There is no other way to deal with this, we need to teach our children that this is something "normal" and make them aware of the risks and conscious use only after they reach an age of maturity for this.

879  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: A hipótese do vazamento do laboratório para a criação do Bitcoin on: September 24, 2023, 11:28:25 PM

880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling all about luck? on: September 24, 2023, 11:24:36 PM
In my opinion making cash from gambling is not a good option and the statistical probability that you will win every game at every casino is very low. I think winning or losing every game is completely in your head, so your individual tricks are not there. However, we all have some kind of luck so we should strive for what is possible for us.

In fact, the odds will always be in favor of casinos and betting sites and that is why most people lose much more money than they win.
But, gambling is not just based on luck or bad luck, but also on managing risk, controlling your balance and the gambler's experience with the game he is playing, and this can greatly reduce your losses.
Sports games are the ones that can give you the most chances of winning, as they depend very little on luck and much more on your knowledge of that sport, but it is also possible to have a certain control over card games, for example, in which you bet directly with other players... you just need to be better than your opponents.

Anyway... gambling is not just luck or bad luck, there is a lot of technique involved.
