861  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [List] Instant exchanges on: April 13, 2023, 10:47:52 AM
Are you guys still able to use coinswitch? Even if I use a VPN or not, it's not allowing me to access the website. I've used them before and was having no issue at all until I can't access them anymore and I don't know if some changes have made.

-snip-

You should be able to access the site with an Indian VPN, I just did.

But as mentioned in the previous page, it doesn't look like they're operating as an instant exchange anymore. It's just fiat (INR) <> crypto app now and they recently launched "CoinSwitch Pro"[1] which acts as an aggregator for CEXes (Indian ones only) and is meant for arbitrage trading.

862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: from metamask BNB network to kucoin eth20 transferred but USDT not arrived on: April 13, 2023, 10:01:51 AM
on mexc exchange I have already got coin I want solution for kucoin, if you know please help.
and by the way I am not here to convince to you or someone, I have issue so I want help from you experienced guys.

Posting your TXID here would help us understand better but MetaMask shouldn't even accept a TRX address as a valid one when you're using the BSC network. You would get something like this instead:

As for your problem with Kucoin, then as I have mentioned before. You need to contact the support (or maybe ask them here as well[1]) and wait, there's no other way because you can't access your private keys with Kucoin.

Trezor just announced that they are officially launching CoinJoins a week from now (19th of April) which should work with the Trezor One model [2] just fine.

ERC-20 is Ethereum's network and not Binance's. That's why it's not showing.

The only way to retrieve the funds is:

- You can reach out to the exchange and ask to recover the funds for you: https://www.kucoin.com/support/900006117646

- Wait until Kucoin fix their problems with BSC network. I can see that BSC is listed when you try to withdraw or deposit USDT. It's just unavailable at the moment.
867  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Validate a Blockchain Transaction Email Address on: April 11, 2023, 03:07:37 PM
What was the email about? Regardless though, it doesn't look legit. The encrypted-blockchain.com domain is not leading anywhere, and it has no online presence either.
Bybit on: April 10, 2023, 09:03:00 PM
869  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any website to compare 2 different currency prices over time vs USD? on: April 10, 2023, 08:01:17 PM
If I understood you correctly, then CoinMarketCap should do what you're looking for.  Let's say you want to compare BTC with ETH:

1. Go to Bitcoin's page: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/
2. Just above the chart, you will see a "compare with" text field, select Ethereum (or any other coin).
3. That's it. The chart should now show you both prices.
870  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Need help finding wallet password. on: April 10, 2023, 10:50:31 AM
I created it a long time ago then the purpose of creating it was just for electrum wallet reference so I can't remember what password I set. When I set the password, I also did not choose to encrypt the file. I only have the saved wallet file left.

If you typed a password, the private keys get encrypted using that password even if the file doesn't.

If the wallet is not encrypted, you should be able to spend your funds without the need for a password.
871  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Need help finding wallet password. on: April 10, 2023, 10:34:06 AM
It's possible to try and crack the wallet but only if you have an idea about the length and complexity of the password (whether special characters, numbers, etc. were used). Do you?
872  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Wire transfer to BTC on: April 10, 2023, 09:41:55 AM
There are plenty of exchanges that let you do that but it depends on where you're from. You can check Kraken, Coinbase, Bitfinex, Bitstamp, etc. If these exchanges do not support your country, you should look into P2P platforms instead.
873  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for feedback- Cryptocurrency price and listing alerts on: April 10, 2023, 08:19:57 AM
Here are some issues I found:

- The maximum alerts field error is showing on top of the "Note". Also, if I write 8 for example, it's impossible to delete it afterward to write something else, I need to first select the whole number and type. I understand that you don't want the user to set a value of less than 0 but this is a very bad UX. I would delay showing the error as the user types, and also disable the create an alert button if certain criteria are not met.

- The footer is broken? I tried multiple browsers.
- Creating an alert is not working. Nothing happens when I click the button.
- On the signup page, the button says "Sign in" and when typing new credential, it says that the email or password is invalid which doesn't make much sense.

Suggestions:

- Support social login (including login with MetaMask and WalletConnect).
- I don't know if this is supported yet since I couldn't create an account/alert, but you should definitely consider supporting telegram alerts if you haven't.

Also, I'm curious. How many alerts can the user create and are you planning to provide this service for free?
874  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any problems with *CHIPMIXER* coins? on: April 09, 2023, 06:53:15 PM
Bitmover was trying to say that the exchanges would only scan the surface of the transaction history, maybe through an automated system and would not scrutinize all the details of previous transactions nor go too far back.
Personally, I think they are just doing it to make sure they are doing the right thing legally, suspicious transactions will be sent out, but it certainly won't be investigated too deeply, they don't really do it because they want, they do it because the government wants  Roll Eyes

A lot of exchanges (KuCoin, Robinhood, Bittrex, etc.) use ChainAlysis's KYT[1] already (and probably reactor too[2]).

875  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I forgot about that site in which we can see all latest news at one platform on: April 09, 2023, 05:04:52 PM
Looks good! Do you have a full list of these news sources?
Would love to learn this as well. I hope it is on rss format or maybe an api? Or any other else besides scrapping. Because scrapping the site might be my last option lol.

AFAIK, none of them have an API so I'm using RSS. I'm not scrapping anything, but I might need to do that to get the articles content and summarize them. It's currently supporting: Coindesk, Blockworks, Cointelegraph, Decrypt, and news.bitcoin.com.
876  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Technical help for ELECTRUM wallet on: April 09, 2023, 01:32:25 PM
Could you post a screenshot or explain what the issue is? The wallet should ask you to encrypt your wallet as a final step.

If the "next button" is still greyed out after you type your seed, it means you've made a typo somewhere.
877  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I forgot about that site in which we can see all latest news at one platform on: April 09, 2023, 01:12:51 PM
For your question regarding news, I have made a Telegram bot that you might find useful[1]. It checks multiple news sources and notifies you as soon as an article is published.

There is lots of news, so you might find it annoying (as some people have) but you can always mute it and then go and read the headlines whenever you have some time. v2 should come in a couple of weeks or so. I also found this[2] while searching but it's not a free service.

And as for learning, I think this is[3] the best all-in-one site you can find (for both Bitcoin and LN).

Is there one that accept deposits in LN?

Yes. OKX does support both LN deposits and withdrawals but as mentioned above, you now need to complete the Lv1 verification first (full name + ID number).

Alternatively, you can look into this list: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5218464.0
879  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kucoin Community Chain KCC on: April 09, 2023, 09:21:11 AM
Can I please re-visit part of this topic ....

So I now realise I should only transfer Bitcoin on the Bitcoin network to avoid wrapped versions of the coin!

However can I confirm how this works with Eth?  Can I use Layer2 networks like OP/ARB/MATIC to transfer Eth as they sit on the Ethereum network as these are substanially cheaper options.

Thanks all!

Yes, it should be fine with Arbitrum or Optimism. However, for MATIC, you're probably referring to the sidechain and not the actual L2 (Polygon zkEVM) which was released a couple of weeks ago, so I don't think it's currently supported by major exchanges yet.
880  Other / Meta / Re: can we see these stats? on: April 08, 2023, 01:36:00 PM
semrush shows traffic from socialmedia and search engines, they not show us when we visit by typing url or clicking bookmark.
-snip-

They actually do, if you check the "traffic journey" tab. You just need to get a free trial account first but make sure you can cancel it before doing it so they don't charge you.

Direct — traffic to a domain via URLs entered in a browser’s search bar, saved bookmarks or links from outside a browser (such as PDFs or Microsoft Word documents).
