Here's an exchange where you can vote to add a currency:

Of course that link is for voting for BEK! Smiley
862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ATTN: Ethereum SCAM on: January 28, 2014, 04:28:45 AM
My personal opinion: Do you really think a all-in-one package coin will be a revolution? Bitcoin is a success because its simple, made from scratch, for people to transact on their own terms, and thats it.

Yeah, right. You just want to buy it all for yourself! Pig! Tongue

FYI - I think you're wrong there. It looks pretty damn good if you dig into the guts somewhat.

It's over an hour and a half. Got a tl;dw?

So legally you don't own the money you have in a bank. Is that what you are saying? Show me a law saying that.

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED~! Cheesy

The BANK owns your money. Not you.

Wow. Such insanity. Many top. So over. Tongue

Nothing on the web site can be taken seriously. It's like a really bad serious joke.

Meh... I'll mine a couple coins then call it quits. Will likely make a nice addition to a digital coin collection.

869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Problems with Altcoins in general on: January 27, 2014, 06:14:22 AM
You can think of this concept like a Loadbalancer for the entire altcoin-world :-)

Nope. Bad idea.

You go entirely wrong here:

Every Pool, be it single or multi, should...

Trying to tell other people what to do never works out well. That's how we ended up with crappy government - some asshole thinks he knows how to run everyone else's lives.

"Should" is best coupled with "I", and not with "we" or "you" or "he/she/it/them".

Yeah, Devcoin is a work in progress but has the possibility for future greatness by supporting open source developers.

I'm still a bit fuzzy on it. It's one of those things that's been on my "to investigate" list for quite a while. The world of crypto is just massive...

Been wondering about the whole devcoin thing for a while, and periodically drop in to chip away a bit more at figuring it out. Some of the paid articles seemed, well...

874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin is about to crash. on: January 26, 2014, 10:13:54 PM
To me, the momentum for doge have just began, it may crash in the future but not now.

Hate to burst your bubble, but it is crashing now.

http://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/cryptsy/dogebtc

It was just one big market manipulation pump. The prices you saw were merely artificial, and people bought in.

Lower lows, and lower highs. It's crashing. Just suck it up, sell, and buy back in when it bottoms out.

Šogecoin will be here tomorrow, and seems like a lot of long-term fun. But it ain't gonna keep it's price where it is right now over the next few days.

That's what a crash looks like.
875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do people want from alt cryptocurrency? on: January 26, 2014, 10:07:50 PM
Usually they want to get rich quick. Can you implement that?

^^ This. Smiley
876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoins! NEED HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: January 26, 2014, 10:06:14 PM
Sometimes blocks get "lost" or "orphaned". They're just gone. Nothing you can do, so don't worry.

For shares, you don't get paid until they find a block and it is confirmed. It can take many hours to find a block - it all depends... Check back on it after a day or so.

For the US/EU thing, it doesn't usually matter much. That's for whether or not you can connect.

I've just read in another thread that Goldman Sachs are backing this venture. Is this true?

AFAIK, that's just disinfo.
