yesterday worked fine 3x280x, today if i start sg ati crash “Display driver stopped responding and has recovered”.
bigger 7gpu miner runs couple hours then whole pc freeze, no errors. win8.
normal sgminer 4.1.0 runs ok.
E: updated catalyst driver first pc seems ok now, no crashes.
Just reduce the clock speed a little. |

So i think its better to undervolt, and have less mh per card.
Did you use power meter to measure the power consumption? I have 8 GPU rig with combination of 7970/7990. The power consumption is 730W. Total hash = 13.5MH/s. core/memory= 850/1000MHz. VCore = 0.94V. yeah i used a power meter. scrypt i get about 1250watt. and x11 its somewhere in the range of 550-600. not sure about the 7990 tho. do you cound it as 2 gpus in your rig? but still 730watt for 8 cards isnt bad at all. 1X7990 = 2GPU. What are your voltage settings and other configurations? You are using higher clocks, so higher voltage. Therefore should be less efficient, but Your efficiency: 2080*5/550 = 22.7 kH/s/W My efficiency: 13500/730 = 18.4 kH/s/W |

Not sure why, but this keeps freezing my miner. Using r9 270's, windows 7, any ideas on what settings I should be using?
Would my old settings for darkcoin be ok? Those worked well, just at a lower hash...
You just need to down clock your GPU. The new miner make more efficient use of the GPU. Even though the power consumption increases just a little, the GPU is more stressed than older miner. My core and memory clock were maxed 1050/1500.... How much should I throttle that back? I only use 7970. I reduce the core by 10-20 MHz. |

You may well be right. The important thing is that they've stopped mining us for now. They are still extracting 42% of the blocks. |

I noticed that when the difficulty is low, around 15-20, the blocks are usually solved by one pool in quick succession, is it because the new block has not been broadcasted fast enough to whole network, the pool solved the last block get the new block earlier than other miners?
Is this particular to the fast block coins?

Is it possible to get the difficulty data from the wallets in local network? For example, I have 5 miners in my local network, I have 3 wallets for 3 different coins in one of my computer. Trade My Bit got 8.94GH/s on us. Our usual mining hash is only 1.67GH/s. Without 5limi the "usual" mining hashrate was probably below 1GH/s, as 5limi was about 50%. This is consistent with the ratio of blocks claimed by tmb, which peaks at 90% (if tmb has 9 GH/s and the rest has less than 1 GH/s, then tmb logically gets 90% of the blocks) http://chainz.cryptoid.info/lgc/extraction.dws?11.htmAnyone could get in touch with 5limi admins? The ratio of Trade My Bit to the total network rate is 84.2% if we use the 8.94 and 1.67 as reported on their website. They are getting 90% of the total blocks as they are just mining the low difficulty blocks from LGC. When we are mining high difficulty blocks, they are mining other coins. Would a multipool have more profit than a nonswitching pool? |

I think QBC needs more direct mining hash to secure it. If we can find some use of QBC, eg buying syrup with it, then the price of QBC will rise, that, in turn, will attract more hashing to secure the coin.
So, the first priority is the usage of the coin.
I'll sell you Maple syrup for Quebecoin. I'll even let you pay the shipping fees in Québecoin. Give me a PM - let make this first priority a thing.  I had some syrup two years ago in Quebec. It is too sweet for me. If you can accept QBC for syrup, that would do enormous favour to the QBC community. |

We do not need a new thread - we have a lot of pages, the number of pages a coin has actually determines how seriously a coin is taken. Right... this coin is evthing except dead... still high activity from the community... Let us put here a new dev and initially pay him w the foundation's coin and open a new thread... New site, new graphic, new logo, some summer/beach gadgets like t-shirts, caps, balls, etc, multipool, mintpal, and this coin will fly! I repeat again, first a new dev who will take the reins of the coin... then we can point our efforts to build all the rest... (and seems we r not short of nice ideas!) Do Logicoin Dev have a project to develop the abandoned coins. The most important thing for a coin is to find some use of it. Even Logicoin is not useful yet. |

So what's in store for this coin? Any new developements? You considering implementing DarkSend as soon as it is open source? Any specific market you would like to hop into with being adopted? Gaming? Math supplies (see what I did here?  )? Have a feeling this coin can be great underdog of the x11! If we can find some use of this coin, that would be excellent. |

got to say that I think the dev has Disappeared.
Which is why we are currently looking for new DEV. I will try to do that as quick as it's possible. After having new dev we will probably open new topic, make a better, beautiful website and bring more miners to the multipool  So hold Your coins guys (I hold all my SUMs and never sold a single one), becouse good things are coming. I will make sure they'll come. There is no need to continue this coin. If you can find a new dedicated DEV, then create a new coin, without the deficiencies of the SUM. This coin was launched with correct difficulty adjustment first time. There was no instamine. That did not net the DEV or friends enough instant coins. It was launched again the next day using the excuse that mine pool was not ready. The difficulty adjustment algorithm was changed. There was big instamine. I sold my 2 blocks a few days after it was on market. u dont understand. Why create new coin ? New coins are created every other day. A lot of them are similar to SUM (x11 / PoS), but none of them reach 200 pages on thread. Most of the first 60 pages is about the problems of the launch process. Does this coin offer anything new? The reputation of this coin is tainted. Even the original DEV is not interested in this coin any more. Logicoin might be one of the many X11 coins worth a look at. It has no premine or instamine. But it does not offer any original idea either. |

Going PoS does not have to be rushed through. MUN is a long term project.
Suppressed price could be a good thing, it might deter the dumping of the coins from airdrop.
