882  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is good amount to start day trading is 100$ enough?? on: April 24, 2020, 02:51:24 PM
Well, anyone can pickup the challenge of being a day trader in the world of cryptocurrency if they're able to take the measurement of be a risk management individual. $100 is a good start for anybody to kickstart day trade but, the question is: do you possess what it takes to go into day trade? Daily trade has many things attached to it which ranging from trade technical analysis down to SL methodology.

I wouldn't allow any newbie to get into day trade because of it difficulties in earning profit from the trade. Rather would suggest short-term and long-term trade. In conclusion, some trading platforms even allow as low as $10 for trade.
883  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people run away from trading!!! on: April 24, 2020, 01:39:27 PM
Trading depends on the skills of the trader and not just random individuals claiming to be traders without having the zeal towards trading. Many thought of trading to be for all but categorically, I will say no, trading belongs to those who are ready to take the challenge through risk taking. During my time as a newbie, I used to see cryptocurrency trade as that which requires less skills but going deep into the trading industry makes me.realized the efforts to put before you can make good profit from trade. Trade is for those who're ready to take the needed risk to succeed. Mindset of "no risk = never attempt trade at any level".
884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Illegal activities is giving cryptocurrencies a bad image on: April 24, 2020, 08:58:56 AM
For point of correction, these things you have outlined that happened or are happening in the cryptocurrency industry, started from the traditional settings and not just happening with this emerging technology. Money laundering, corruption, theft, lack of transparency, and buying of hard drugs through fiats. Basically, the Fiat systems have this as a normal routinely; and has grown through the fiats to this emerging technology. In as much this acts never give fiats a bad image then, we shouldn't worry about it happening with this technology.
885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading bounty projects and none trading bounty projects on: April 24, 2020, 08:45:53 AM
You're right, though for those who are actually doing their own research before they get involved into any bounty will actually make the difference. Many don't understand what it takes to make right decision, having a project that's admitting to be listed after Bounty operations should be giving a second thought, as many have used this to get their scam projects done by Bounty hunters.

Practically, any project with a new or different use case in real life is worth participating, but for those with reinterpreted case use are likely to be scam projects. Seeing Cartesi as a project should tell anyone about their legitimacy and worth participating, because this project has been in existence since 2017 and grew through 2018, 2019 till 2020.
886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cartesi is now listed in Binance on: April 23, 2020, 08:57:29 PM
Surely the price will drop in the coming weeks, I believe that when the bounty hunter receives their token the price will definitely go down to IEO or slightly higher. Generally the bounty hunter will not get too much money from this project
looking at volume now I think it won't dump because the tokens for the bounty are distributed in stages. Btw the price is now $ 0.06, if the bounty hunter hold is longer maybe the price will pump

What you have seen is the very best any project can do to protect their reputation among their colleagues in this industry. We'll know how hunters and some investors have impacted negatively on tokens being traded on exchange after distribution. For the project team to diverse a means of stage distribution to hunters will definitely bring a good pump after some while on exchange. This has been the problem with hunters after distribution of tokens, dumping is their last language.
887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best time to begin your gambling affiliate journey. on: April 21, 2020, 09:03:15 PM
In my own idea best time is the time that you are free and have got too much friends to invite them all.
However If you ask me I would say I prefer to start gambling myself instead of affiliating.

Possibly if you can't find good friends who are good in gambling or friends who are not interested in gambling, then you better start gambling yourself than doing an affiliate. So.e are really fortunate why others seem not so, choose were you belongs to operate. Personally, I have less friends who are not gamblers and I have been doing affiliate since the early days of my gambling. For those with lesser friends in gambling can't get something good as rewards from gambling because of their little numbers of friends that are not gamblers. For those with the right audience, its time to vigorously preach the word of affiliation to earn extra income.
888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggestions for online gamblers on: April 21, 2020, 07:24:28 PM
Kudos  for the suggestions, though I doubt if many will still adhere to these as we have seen in the past. Remember that, many gamblers keep coming under the roof of a gambling platform just to earn free sats for sustainment and would do anything to achieve this. One thing is for us to suggest and another for the gamblers to absorb them but what we see is, them(gamblers) defining all odds to sustains themselves to in gambling. Hope many addicts will take lessons home and rebrand themselves against any lost in the future.
889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This guy gambles and wins a total amount of £400,000 and quits while ahead. on: April 21, 2020, 06:58:15 PM
Well! well!! well!!, that's a good move for the guy but I doubt if really he or she with quit gambling because of the huge win. We should be more concern about their need(These gamblers) for more even while quitting the gambling, also, the mindset of gambling for another high win. Should anyone win so huge like this and successfully quit gambling? No i haven't seen and it's likely not to be. This guy will surely come back for another big gains in gambling as soon as he started using the cash.
890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: April 20, 2020, 03:59:40 PM
<snip>

Yes, business as usual even in times like this when pandemic hit the world. This kind of business is only concerned with how they can earn more and they don't even have the slightest care about the one who is working with them.

<snip>

They can help but doesnt mean that they would be the one to sustain out their needs into this entire lockdown duration.

The argument here isn't those who are considerate but those who thought that, helping their employees isn't their responsibility to do so. According to OP, many of these casinos actually helped their employees while some said, isn't their obligation to help as the lockdown also affected their businesses, this isn't justifiable because those employees also need palliatives too. Okay, for those casinos that aren't paying salary to their employees during this lockdown, how do they intend to help their workers?. Gambling platforms around this industry are making huge profits and they should give back to their employees.
891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction? on: April 20, 2020, 03:38:37 PM
Base on my conversation from my friends ,Addicted or regular gambler?their playing habits are lessen day by day.

Let's be more clearer here, these guys or your so called friends aren't addict gamblers neither regular gamblers IMO. Regular gamblers either indept or partial in the gambling world are likely to be addicts.

Quote
First reason is No much budget because of the Lockdown.

They're not regular gamblers. Any regular gambler can bear me witness that; low budget or not these sets of individuals can go extra length to source for funds to gamble. During this lockdown, I gamble with the funds that was meant for the family. Though am able to control my urge now: this is how dangerous it is to be a regular gambler or an addict.

Quote
Second reason is They are starting to find quality time with their family.

They're not real gamblers and not addicted before the lockdown. Maybe they're just part-time gamblers.
892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction? on: April 20, 2020, 03:18:52 PM
Online casinos are still very much open to everyone who have internet. This is the only means they will continue to gamble which will likely increase their addiction level higher than when they were before the lockdown.
Yes. Addicts will keep playing even in this lockdown time because they must have internet in their houses nowadays. Even if they never played online gambling before, I guess they only need a little time to learn online gambling because everything is almost the same. They won't have big difficulties and surely continue their habits to play gambling daily. As you said, even this may increase the addiction level.
Correct, addiction can mess around it possessor and in this case gamblers who are addicted before the lockdown will continue from where they stopped because once an addict is or will always remain addict. Some weeks ago, I stated when  my friends parent called me to caution their children about this act of gambling a whole day without a stop that the issue had gotten out of hands. These friends were actually real gamblers because we'll gamble together when the world was free from restriction.

Though, during those days we had many things that keep us busy, most especially the educational discussions but nothing of such during this lockdown, so, they tend to invest more of their energy into gambling and its having an impact in their life now because they where once addicted.
893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Share] Biggest wins in online Casinos on: April 19, 2020, 11:24:12 PM
Well, that's actually a huge win for  these lucky gamblers but the question now is: How come they show just their winning and not how many times they have lost to the platform?. Believe me, the same games they play is almost the  same we do but unlucky like them. The truth is, these guys always have a huge lose during gambling, the amount of funds they can afford to lose no one on this forum can afford such.

Though, as a mini gambler I have risk my funds both those that belongs to me and partially on my care on gambling but haven't gotten much win for myself like the ones OP just shared. This still make me believe that, gambling is all about luck for those who win big.
894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: April 19, 2020, 11:02:13 PM
<snip>

Yes, business as usual even in times like this when pandemic hit the world. This kind of business is only concerned with how they can earn more and they don't even have the slightest care about the one who is working with them.

That's life mate, many are the employers that never wanted to see their employees progressing because this act will post a threat to them. Frankly speaking, these employees also need to be Carter for because they ate humans too. We all know how these guys make their money from gambling and should be responsible for the warfare of their employees. Hope that, the management of the involved gambling platform put into consideration the plight of their employees especially during this general lockdown.
895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction? on: April 19, 2020, 10:39:24 PM
Being in the addiction won't be easy for them to bailout from addiction even we got this situation and casinos are stop because they could still find and continue their doing through online gambling. And definitely that was their other option.
It is to believe that being in addiction or any form of addiction is a long way to becoming free. We could say that today is a perfect time but we're not sure if they realize it.

I have reiterated this over and over again, many have been addicted and would like to Continue even at this. Doing the traditional gambling and lockdown came into play, this has not change anything in the life a true addicted gambler out there. They will always find their ways out of the boredom to do what they're interested in doing. Online casinos are still very much open to everyone who have internet. This is the only means they will continue to gamble which will likely increase their addiction level higher than when they were before the lockdown.
896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose which altcoin will you buy? on: April 18, 2020, 03:54:45 PM
One thing is for the investor to choose the type of project he or she want to invest in, either in PoS or PoW as we'll know they have their respective advantages. Investment is a choice and should be carefully made when venturing into the world of cryptocurrency because many scam projects are their waiting for investor's to scam them of their belongings.

What I do to invest in any cryptocurrency projects is: thoroughly investigating into the project I choose to invest by looking into their teams, their real world problem solve, their partners and partnership with other global agents. Though, I have been more careful since I joined this industry and have not regretted my actions during investing.
897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitcoinGold is halving today on: April 18, 2020, 02:34:27 PM

Well, the halving is showing at this point in time because what I see is the price will likely shoot after the halving. Though, the movement from this halving looks positive, maybe we should look towards months ahead or weeks ahead to experience the real impact of the halving and that's of the Bitcoin who h is almost around the corner.

898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coronavirus ain't helping on: April 18, 2020, 12:01:28 PM
We all have a new hope for crypto this year and no one saw coronavirus outbreak coming, if this isn't contained anytime soon all dreams might be nothing but dreams this year, Coronavirus ain't helping at all

Though you're right when it come to investment or in the price of cryptocurrency but for the gambling world you're wrong. This covid-19 has actually change and still changing the world of cryptocurrency in respect to gambling, for the few months spent during this lockdown has open way for the gambling platforms and have experience a boost unexpepctedly. Online casinos have been in the news recently as the community has received a boost in their various platforms, so, the coming into the world by this coronavirus has turn the gambling online casinos to a positive one.
899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty alone is not enough on: April 18, 2020, 10:54:34 AM
off course the market is also changing that is why we need to adapt to way of promoting crypto projects and one way is not enough to saturate such market and audience.

You're right mate, bounty promotion isn't enough to have gotten the needed announcement of the project to the entire public for investment. With the ICO been conducted with series of projects that has been done before now, there seems to be a link between the ICO and the investors. Many investors sees ICO as a means to scam them from their belongings even the means of IEOs too. This has be more reasons why projects promotion need to be more sincere to the investors than ever to redeemed their image. Personally, am scare of investing in any project promoted through ICO and IEO, I don't want my funds go into tin air without a return.
900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your opinion on stable coins? on: April 18, 2020, 10:01:54 AM
Stablecoins are the safety lands for investors who are trading altcoins especially. Stabelcoins help to reduce risk of looses if anyone have to be success in either trading cryptocurrency or investing into cryptocurrency. Personally, am a fan of stablecoins because am a trader and also, a potential cryptocurrency investor. During the bear market I usually have my ways in keeping my profits, if not all my portfolios into stablecoins to save lost either in a long-term or short-term purpose. Though, this method has helped me save many unforseen circumstances which would have lead me to lose.
