881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question about Live Roulette on: January 06, 2016, 08:37:53 PM
I wanted to know how a live roulette works and how they assure its provably fair.Like do they really have someone behind the screen who is being live broadcasting the game or its just a auto-bot again? I know the question is really silly but just couldn't seem to get this off my head.All answers appreciated .

Well it really depends on the casino and the "Live" version provider. Usually there are a few providers and the games are as fair as they can get on a video roulette. I dont really think there is a real way of showing that it is provably fair, best you can ask is that the service they provide is legal and checked by an agency. Other than that, who knows what goes on there.
882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Working-Stake, a.k.a. "Clamcoin" on: January 06, 2016, 05:18:02 PM
That clamour stuff was just a scam to shut up the people who wanted end digging?
When need 90% of votes to make any changes that clamour stuff has really no meaning.
Is hard enough get over 50% to care, but over 90% of votes they get only in North Korea and places like that.

This is the first I've heard of 90% support being needed.

Incidentally here's the support for each petition over the last 10,000 blocks:

$ clamd getsupport
{
  "threshold" : 0,
  "window" : 10000,
  "endblock" : 805025,
  "startblock" : 795026,
  "support" : {
    "0000cb61" : 195,
    "02fde4a4" : 499,
    "066b223d" : 69,
    "26dfbf81" : 38,
    "5afa074c" : 3807,
    "694c26a6" : 413,
    "7a69a853" : 1664,
    "c9328886" : 46,
    "deaddea1" : 23,
    "e2ef93da" : 44,
    "ea06c089" : 1713,
    "eff96b06" : 26,
    "ff839af9" : 2261
  }
}

"5afa074c" (stop digging) has the most support, at 38.07%

So what is the % need for change anything?

   Technically you would need greater then 50%.  But as smooth points out, to make sure you have a smooth transition you would need to make sure you have more then a slight margin.  55%, 60% 70%, but no where near the 90%.  You need enough of a cushion so that if you made the change, you would have greater then 50% staking power to keep moving your chain ahead.

But not everyone want to vote for or against digging. So if 20% not want to vote for and against. Then 40% is half of the votes

Well that is the way it is. Im also thinking something like 60%+ or it could start a chain reaction of "dig" vs "no dig". 38% support is already pretty high and it will eventually win over, there is actually no other chance right now. As the amount of coins in JD grows, the % of those coins will also(as they own so many). Eventually it will take over and the digs will stop. Just a matter of time.
883  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Gambling Site to Invest In on: January 06, 2016, 05:13:40 PM
Anyone have any opinions on what gambling site is best to invest in? What I'm looking for is gambling sites that have the highest payback or interest and have been around a while with a good reputation. I'm located in the US so don't know if that matters if I'm just looking to invest a small amount of bitcoin in a gambling site.

Its pretty hard to say what site is the best to invest in as most of the old sites are good. If i was to invest right now i would go with www.bitdice.me most likely as their expected return is lower. This means that theres a theoretical advantage investing as the average should correct itself. Other than that its hard to say.

Something for the fans of LTC then it seems. I hope it isn't one of the standard scams. Wonder how will coming out with decred affect how this coin will do if at all (im sure most focus will be on decred). Also, will you also airdrop part of the premine ? If not, it will be a hard sale for the public.
885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HYPER ~ Game Currency ~ ON CNBC ~ Twitch.tv ~ ShapeShift.io ~RPG + More! on: January 06, 2016, 02:32:53 PM
Happy HYPER New Year everyone! One of my resolutions is to make sure HYPER further establishes itself as the definitive online gaming currency.

All game server infrastructure is fully operational (CSGO, TF2, etc) and all the game server competitions and HYPER payout systems are fully operational. Anyone can learn more at http://hypercrypto.com and at https://cashncarry.info/ (all the biggest HYPER gaming competitions are also outlined at Cash N Carry, there is also a HYPER web wallet and loads of other great tools, competitions and bounties there).

hello,
how much approximately time take to import bootstrap blockchain data file?
I left during night runing my pc, but today I found my wallet  in "not responding " status
and not the tasks performed.

It shouldn't take that long. I recently used a bootstrap and it was fine. After the bootstrap was added to my HYPER folder, and then opening the wallet it took maybe 30 minutes max.

Can you let me know how you added the bootstrap and if you are on windows?

Happy New Year to you also! I really hope HYPER becomes even more recognized in the gaming industry. It is currently the most wide used crypto im pretty sure about that one. The road ahead is still very long tho as HYPER has only scratched the surface of what it could be further down the road.
886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The csgo gambling exploitation! investment and topic on: January 06, 2016, 10:24:26 AM
I am rather certain that no one will send you any coins. The reason is that this forum gets all kinds of ideas for making money in X way and 99.99% of the people run off and scam people involved. Unless you find a way to prove you will not run off and guarantee the profits (im talking signed contracts or other means). Not going to happen even tho the idea behind it works.
Any suggestions I tried to prove that I was a legitimate gambler and have worked in this area before at the bottom I could do contracts I guess if people wanted would a video be better for this type of thing showing people all the screenshots live me logging into my accounts etc.... cause the screenshots alone should be good enough proof, yes it does not mean that I could be this person just looking to make some extra bucks but I am very legitimate and I am only a newbie on this forum because I just browse to find peoples interest I dont post to often cause I do not see the need and I just want to make this work. I am very known in the scene would it be smart to go to someone with a loan and show him all the contacts i got ie : pro cs players I am in contact with around 10 of them I dont know just want to make something big is contracts just the way to go or are there other ways

It is very difficult to set up in a way that reduces the risk for the investors. I'm guessing one way would be to try set up a sort of an escrow that could help prove your identity or hold part of the funds. I know there is money to be made in the CS:GO scene, i have been doing a bit of the same with dota 2. Its just hard to set up

Hope you guys are ready, something very cool is about to come.
The slack group is still open and you can discuss with the community and devs there.  Wink

I have been a part of the slack group for a while now and it is a really good place to discuss things related to SCRT and what is about to come and when. People are fun also so it wont be easy to get bored.
As tkon3 say'd big things are coming and it shows in the price. Not many sells after the mining ended.
889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LTC-Dice.com : 1 % House Edge Dice Game on: January 05, 2016, 08:09:15 PM

I recently set up Ltc-Dice.com, a dice game where players can chose to roll the dice or use their balance to become ltcions in the site.

here's a thread on the on this forum to try the site out and answer questions about the game,
It's this thread. Have at it! Smiley Smiley

www.ltc-dice.com

check it out and put all your opinions here
Thankyou

You really were not kidding when you said it will be a copy of Just-Dice. It seems it has been ripped from there in all its glory only missing the stake box. Will be interesting to see what Doog thinks about this. Is the provable fairness system also the same ? Or have you made something else there ?
890  Other / Archival / Re: Do all casinos hold large wins for a few weeks for "fraud inspection"? (84 BTC) on: January 05, 2016, 07:56:42 PM
Would you like it if you lose ~90 BTC because a dev of yours messed up?

What i am saying is if you need 10 days to check if your site is working as intended then something is clearly not right. I understand the need to check everything to make sure all was fair but this cant take so long because im certain they have already checked everything prior to this win also. And i stand by what i say'd, if a casino doesn't believe in the quality of their own service, then there is no point in even being in business.
891  Other / Archival / Re: Do all casinos hold large wins for a few weeks for "fraud inspection"? (84 BTC) on: January 05, 2016, 07:39:10 PM
First of all, congraz on the huge win! As other have mentioned it is pretty standard for the withdrawals to be checked if they are above a certain amount. It is not however ok if the delay is too long like in this case. If they are so worried about someone winning, why do they even have the casino open? There's no point in even running a casino if you are not sure everything works as it should.
892  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★ BTC-RAFFLE.COM ★ ▐ Provably Fair ▐ Referral System ▐ Player VS Player ▐ on: January 05, 2016, 07:30:02 PM
In all honesty im starting to feel bad for the OP. It is pretty evident that he doesn't really know what he is doing or the knowledge he has is very limited. OP you should understand that the people here actually wanted to help you because in the current form (at least in the form the game was in) no one would really play it. So fixing these issues is something that could help you, if you want to be helped that is.
893  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dicecoin.io - how they refund my stolen money. on: January 05, 2016, 07:21:26 PM
Nice ad and promo for this site, i don't this story is real or fake, now many people will know this site, imo it looks like a self-ad, but if this is real, admin is very nice. he can pay you the stolen money, which i never heard such kind of story.

No bro. its a real story  Wink it is not a fake and ad for this site. Probably lucky that I've been made a deposit here

I would rather be concerned about how this could have happened. Could it be that someone has access to dicecoin.io and everyones funds are at risk ? Or is only Your account compromised, maybe they have even keylogged your computer. Meaning all your accounts are at risk, so instead of thinking "lucky" you should be worried.
894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bobsurplus/Gekko/Tor created FLOZ as another Pump and Dump Scam on: January 05, 2016, 02:40:49 PM
Looks like the house of cards is collapsing and the pump group gets their profits so they can open up a few more coins. Life goes on as usual.
These things should be obvious to spot by now but for some reason suckers still get lured in because "This has to be the next btc boys", guess what its not. Money can be made with these coins as long as you don't plan on "HODLING"
895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official BitBay Thread |Smart Contracts Wallet UPDATE|Decentralized Marketplace on: January 05, 2016, 02:36:27 PM
I used to have some BAY and right now seems like a good time to get back in. Can anyone tell me if the POS works on the market app also or do i need to download the QT wallet to get coins from staking. I was looking for the answer but i could not really find an answer so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yea you still need the QT wallet for staking.

Damn that's a shame. I think there was discussion about the same issue long ago and the idea was there to implement it. It would make sense to have one application and im pretty sure that adding staking to it shouldn't be too hard.
Looks like i need to get the QT for now then. Hope it gets implemented to the other app also.

That's what I meant. It's easy to go from 5000sat to 100sat. It's nearly impossible to go from 100sat to 5000sat.

Some kind of marketing should be done right now. I'm sure they are busy developing all kinds of software but what purpose does that serve when IEC becomes worthless?

I have a feeling we might see an even bigger dip down due to the lack of news or pretty much anything. Maybe even into the 200 range or at least sub 300. That could be a good time to buy some more as the price will go up with some positive news and re-opening of the exchange for physical goods. That is certain.

I have been keeping my eye on it for a while and the coin certainly has potential. It has proven to be stable and hasnt been "dropped". Once the price gets a bit lower it could be a good idea to get in. Not sure how the change in POS changes things but we will see soon enough i guess.
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BARR] The Only Cryptocurrency Earned by Burning Multiple Altcoins on: January 04, 2016, 06:38:56 PM
I was thinking about joining some of the burns but i decided not to as the whole process of converting the coins is unnecessarily difficult. I am pretty sure there would be a lot more users if the whole process would be simplified. This is how i see it as a bystander and as someone who wanted to join.

All you have to do is send a message with your address and then send your coins.

But you could just buy some BARR instead.

That part is simple yes, i was thinking about setting up a BARR wallet. I was trying to do it (it was before my post), i was trying to add the "BARR" assets and im sure there was one more in the OP. And it kept telling me the codes are invalid. Now it seems the Asset ID has changed in the OP. Maybe it is possible now ?
899  Economy / Gambling / Re: Battlecoin.org - Multiplayer bomberman clone on: January 04, 2016, 05:49:10 PM
I didn't play the game for a while and now that i gave it another shot i have to say it feels overall a lot better than it used to. There are more players (but there could always be more, especially on the bigger amounts), there is certainly less lag in the game and overall it somehow feels more responsive. Well done!
