how did you made it to mine ?
Open qt wallet and use console "generate 1" it finds a hash but no reward, broken coin as far as i can tell.

Ok, So, SOLO mining, finding blocks, they appear then immediately disappear.... What's going on.
Why no proper miner, why tell people to use a UMR mine, why not just configure miner correctly and place it in your guthub. Seems like yet another "trial" coin. Hope i'm wrong.
Will mine for another hour....

i am mining this good old lemon for a few weeks now on 2 comps and i absolutlely find some blocks only using the wallet to mine
networkhashps : 626591
seems that more people are mining at the moment , so there is more interest in this argoncoin2 , most coins already find the asic's coming.
i think it will take some time before asic find lemoncoin (argon2)
Hi, What is your hashrate please? How many blocks are you finding a day? Looking at my electricity costs, and lemons price, i need to mine at least 38 blocks a day, just to break even. I'm lucky if i get 2-3 blocks a day with 20Kh/s. I used to pull 100 blocks a day, every day with a little quad core, so i was making about £5 a day (my hash was around 1.2kh/s) J great news that the original developer of this coin is back and maybe even greater news that people going to help , good to see the hashrate is going down a little , "networkhashps" : 578019 , more coins for me to mine but to answer your question , i am mining on 4 old comps now with all 4 between 20-30 kh/s hashrate and they are all finding between 2-4 blocks a day but they did not cost elecricity so that coins are more then welcome BUT FOR DEV , GOOD TO SEE YOU BACK I'm guessing those old pc's are xeons, cos i am only getting 20-30Kh/s on a Ryzen 7 1800X and since i do have to pay for electricity i have to pull minimum of 38 blocks to cover costs, so like i said, unless this coin improves dramatically in value its dead. Stupid thing is if everyone lowered their hash this can be mined at 1/100th the current hash rate and we can all share. There is simply no need for this high hash rate, smacks of one guy wanting to make sure no one else can mine it. I might just borrow a 128 core monster for a month Another old coin bites the dust..so sad

Just some stats for the newbies.
Hi Guys, just thought i'd let you know my earnings, might help someone decide to buy or mine.
Case 1 - 1 x 8TB = Total plots 7.23TB, mined 133.13 Burst in 15 days - AVG = 8.87 BURST / Day Case 2 - 4 x 8TB + 1 x 3TB = Total plots 31.23TB, mined 814.44 Burst in 15 days - AVG = 54.296 BURST / Day This was on the 0-100 pool, and i forged 1 block in that period.
Hope it's of interest J

Can someone help me with wallet for linux? I installed version 1.3.6cg to Lubuntu 17.10 and started run.sh. When I enter the wallet in browser I always see "Downloading blockchain" and several days passed. How can I see the progress and know if it is not stuck?
Hi, i'm no expert, but i'd make sure you have the latest java 64 bit installed and working. Thats where mine usually fails. J

I've got a few ROBO now to share. PM me your address. First 10 will get 10 each.
P.S. Please only one request per person.
Can someone please make a bootstrap and list of the peers or something since I am stuck on loading headers on block 3474 which according to what I see on the blurbs pasted above we can sure keep this thing alive. I am willing to dedicate my i5 vPro to this project as I think that this can be a real people's coin completely kept alive by our belief in it. Currently I can see two nodes as shown below. Try adding those to you .conf file. addnode=91.200.115.233:7332 addnode=85.80.227.146:7332 If you need help please let me know. Hi, i'd like to see your .conf file please i have tried all the above nodes and cannot get any connections...i think this coin is very broken

My newest calculations: Days mining: 16 BURST per day: 24.14 USD per day: 0.86 ROI: 1.14% 100% ROI in [years]: 3.84 yeah, i have 28TB and am averaging around 50 Burst a day...time to pack it in. I have been talking to 3 miners just in the last week, who are all building 1PB rigs (1000TB). 2 of them have just started, and 1 is 75% complete. By the time they are all up to speed i dont think there is any point carrying on with burst unless you have at least 100TB and have basically got it for free. Back to storj i think. I was also looking at SIA, but they have 90% of there current available space is unallocated, so i think that is not worth it either. J

You can apply for the listing of the ion exchange on the exchange without a developer and sell the coins.
Hi, can you give me a link to the exchange please? J

Hi, Just my quick thoughts. I have been mining this coin for nearly 2 years now. (I think i actually found an original wallet 3 years ago, but couldn't work out how to mine it) This time around with lots of help from gjhiggins and eXtremal i managed to get a synced wallet (can't remember which one) and cpu mine. This then got upgraded to gpu mining when the dtc.graymines.net pool became fully functional again. I can see we have ZenoDiac asking can gpu mining be added to a wallet like it is in the HP Wallet version, and i didn't quite understand his post....so i looked back at the 1st Page and thats what lead me to write this. Whilst i fully appreciate the efforts and energy of extro24 and DatacoinMiner in moving things along, the 1st page looks like a geeky programmers paradise and a complete nightmare to any newbie (myself included) If you look under stable clients we have 4 windows versions, then 1 CPU high performance version, and 1 Datacoin wallet with embedded server for local GPU solo mining with xpmclient. Next we have a solo miner, but that is not the solo miner i am using, then if we go to the dtc.graymines.net pool we have 3 other miners, oh and then we have 3 explorers, which are all 1 block out from each other, and as for http://www.bytestamp.net/blocks/index - OMG it looks like its still in the 80's My point is, not to dig, but to say "come on guys" lets clean house first. Can we make the 1st page links point to the 1 official wallet (if such a thing exists) along with its Linux, Mac, and Windows sources, and binaries (not weird mega links, but binaries in the official github). Otherwise, just like me who has sent the last 4 days with my wallet getting to within 3 days of syncing then crashing, next wallet saying my .dat was corrupt, and finally finding the correct wallet (for me at least) v0.1.2.0dtc-hp14-gunk-beta which not only has synced but i am solo gpu mining into. I mean, links to some random datacoin-qt.exe are great but why not put the wallet version in the desc, or even file name, otherwise like me, newbies are going to end up in a right state. So Mr DatacoinMiner, with all the good advertising you have been doing, before the "hoardes" come rushing in, fail miserably, and then go bad mouth "that old crap coin" here is a great chance to laydown a clear path for future growth. Seriously guys, your mining guide points to articles from 2014, to services that are long since gone. One last thing...aimed at DatacoinMiner mainly, but i hope some of the senior members also think about. Just stop and think about what you really want from datacoin...its works, it actually works really well, its very stable, and is currently in quite a unique position where many of us are succesfully mining it on laptops, and generally older hardware...take a few hours to look thru the altcoins ann page and see the crazyness of the current market place...everyone is desperate to get rich quick, people are buying not 1 mid card, but 10's of $1000 cards, putting together multiple rigs, and hitting every coin they can so hard they usually break, then tomorrow they move on to the next coin leaving a trail of high difficuly and broken coins in their wake...i'm trying not to be the voice of doom, but just have a look at how many "old coins" have been revamped recently, and as soon as these crazies get involved the coin either dies, or if sucessful gets hijacked and converted to a token, and then forked multiple times until no exchange will touch it...so please think about how you going to address that before the crazies turn up with their 30 x 6 1080Ti rigs, cos the second it happens 4 years of stable control ends...and all the original guys will put there heads in the hands...and walk away....i see it nearly every day now.... So here's to slow, steady, controlled growth for a system that has the ability to be here in 50 years time J

I have 5 conections
Could you share the nodes please. Mine mined perfectly all day yesterday, until about 8.30 UTC and then nothing....been dead for last 18 hours.... J So, several hours have gone by and my wallet is now 13 hours behind I'd be very wary mining this coin at the moment. Site has gone, dev has gone, and i suspect we are all making our own chains. If i can get to sync ,I will dedicate just 1 slow core to this which will perhaps hit 1 block a day. I think we need to share nodes and then at least we can attempt to bring the chains together otherwise no exchange will ever accept this coin. Any thoughts? J

Initial investment is $600. Joined the ship last month with three 8tb seagates. Let's see how long will it take to get my ROI. If the mining difficulty keeps rising and the prices stay the same it'll probably take forever and soon my 24tb rig will be worthless. Plotting took too long with my laptop and collected only a few rounds of payments in the first month. Hi, i have a similar setup, and i have worked out ROI to be nearly 2 years at current rates....we're joining about 1 year to late. I believe this coin peaked about 8 months ago. J It's not that bad as you saying it is. Here's my current calculation: Days mining: 11 BURST per day: 24.79 USD per day: 0.65 ROI: 0.59% 100% ROI in [days]: 170 Current 100% ROI rate [days]: 181 That's without any power costs, as I have server running anyway. And it's also mining on CPU, making extra 0.5$+ every day. Not sure how you got ROI 0.59%, but say 25 Burst / day = $0.65, u spend $600, so $600/$0.65 = 923 days (you are earning less than $1/day, so even at $1/day it would take 600 days, nearly 2 years) - I think you are a factor out on your calculation - sorry
