901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You don't want Bitcoin, You don't want Future :-\ on: November 04, 2019, 08:16:05 AM
Honestly, there are really people who don't believe in Bitcoin because of their wrong interpretation of it. They don't know its advantages as a currency and as a mode of payment. Yes, it also has its risks but it could honestly make things more convenient than banks. Bitcoin is more accessible and we could really have financial freedom through it in the future.

I agree with your statement ad financial freedom and transactions across the border and within the borders without involvement of any third party or government agencyt was the aim of bitcoin creation but here you could either find people only stressing on either the advantages or disadvantages of bitcoin rather than a neutral view as biased post sends out wrong interpretation of bitcoin. We need more neutral posts and analysis in order to help each other's and new folks.
902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Dogecoin real or a meme? on: November 04, 2019, 08:10:00 AM
I recently heard of Dogecoin from a couple of friends of mine. Is it a meme or an actual cryptocurrency, because so I would like to get some myself. Also, what trading platforms trade Dogecoin?

Also, if possible can you mention any useful information about Dogecoin that I can use when trading it or buy it. Thanks.

It's not a meme it's a real coin but it does not have features of other crypto coins as it's mainly used to be shred as meme but it did had it's golden days during bull run and if you ask my opinion about Dogecoin I would say this is not an ideal coin for investment purpose even though their might be occasional rise but it will not be used the way we use other crypto coins.
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptonization Fail ? on: November 03, 2019, 09:13:32 PM
Blockchain and cryptocurrency are still new. There are still many who try and seek profits through this hysteria. Some are serious, some are careless, and some are trying to cheat. It all depends on the development team, whether they really read the opportunity, the needs of the community, and find the right ecosystem niche to be developed, the mission of cryptonization will be successful.
There are many fields that have been touched by the blockchain, and many of them have had success, although we must realize that this cannot be used massively yet, well ... this industry is still quite controversial, slow but sure.

Yes we cannot just blame the whole crypto industry for failure of unrealistic projects without a proper planning as there are currently 3053 crypto coins listen in coinmarketcap it does not mean every project will be successful and most of the countries are trying to adopt blockchain but skeptical about crypto due to it's decentralized nature which will require some more time as crypto industry is yet to be streamlined. We need to support it atleast for the fact that it has provided us so many facility which the centralized institutions lack.
904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Tide Lifting All Altcoins Boats on: November 03, 2019, 08:57:27 PM
Actually bitcoin always influence some of the altcoins in the market. But it still uncertain if will make a progress constantly while bitcoin keep crawling . Because you know there's always a factor that keep pulling alts after small bump .wherein even before due to some greedy whales within the market. So don't assume too much when there's a pump in some altcoin. And monitor the growth rate as well to prevent regrets. Its very unpredictable TBH if you just relying on bitcoin. Because not all the time bitcoin can help alts to recover quickly. So be smart enough when there's a pump in the market. Dont ever wait for more results because once it fluctuate it will continue to crawl back to the button stage .

That's what we call upfront response, I have similar opinion as bitcoin used to carry other altcoins ahead during pump but this cannot happen everytime as we have 3053 cryptos listed in coinmarketcap right now and bitcoin's influence on other coins is gradually reduced. Now any further pump or dump of altcoin will be purely based on the servies it has to offer the crypto world, it will not be a smart move to jump into a conclusion and make any move just with speculations and last few day's market trend.
905  Economy / Speculation / Re: One more dump before halving? on: November 03, 2019, 08:34:41 PM
Honestly speaking the bitcoin market is good as of now with slight improvement and not much dump except one particular dump before week or so which provided further pump, but are these manipulation just to for whales to cash out before the halving and then invest again at a cheaper value to get most profit of out it post halving? Are we going to witness major dump before halving?
i guess you are really paranoid to whales gaming, right ?
considering the fact from a few weeks ago , i dont see whales have a chance to playing fire game.
when btc drop below 9000 i believe someone overthere will backing it and buy more, blockchain is very influential in today's world, the first blockchain project is bitcoin.
and for god sake, halving will be done in May next year , 5 months is a long time for all possible possibilities.

Yes I was kinda paranoid or confused whichever suits better due to the past events and it was like two different thoughts like positive in heart and negative or back up plan running in the mind and I am sure I don't stand alone at this situations, but after going through some facts and figures from experts who have replied to this post I am more confident that whales cannot risk manipulating the market as we are prepared for anything and there are people to back up bitcoin even if it goes down.
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin at the end of 2019? on: November 03, 2019, 08:22:29 PM
if at the end of the year there is a pump, maybe Litecoin will be one of the altcoins that will experience a high increase. After halving Litecoin yesterday, LTC has not yet increased in price, but there are still many people who believe in this coin. So it means if there is a pump, there will be many people who will go back to buy LTC because ltc looks profitable.

I don't expect Litecoin's price to go up  much from now till the end of the year. Litecoin has had its time. Thanks to the Litcoin block reward halving event that took place on Aug. 5, 2019,  It reached a high of about $141. And there's no any "big" news about Litecoin coming soon. The only big cap with pending mega updates are ETH, Bitcoin and TRX. The price might increase though. But I don't think It'll be much. Say a $5 increase.

This time I have high hopes on TRON as it's priced at very less amount and have the potential to at least cross $1 and it will provide huge return on investment to it's users which will be much higher than other potential coins due to it's underestimated price just like how Ripple used to be before the mega bull run. Litecoin also had it's time at the last quarter of 2017 as it crossed $300 at. that time
907  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If you want to make money, social media Bounty is not the way! (I guess) on: November 03, 2019, 08:15:03 PM
There are users who initially join this forum to learn more about bitcoin and the way crypto works and how it will make this world a better place to live but deep down their hate they have an urge to earn through this forum just like most of us did when we initially joined this forum as we wanted a passive income but now it's time we understand no one can be rich just by sharing the posts in the social media and focus on other services they could offer to this forums as there are many services required like graphic designing, developer, etc. I have personally never been a part of any social media bounties but have worked for numerous signature campaigns.
908  Economy / Speculation / Re: One more dump before halving? on: November 03, 2019, 07:57:53 PM
Most investors are anticipating that to happen before halving, but we don’t know how major players will play their card this time or maybe market could act different from past halving. Lets remember that history do not guarantee future results.

Yes that's what even I am thinking about as every single user in this forum is aware of a possible dumps and I am bit skeptical if the whales will really create one more dump knowing that the market is already aware of their pattern or do something different to avoid it's traditional pump and dump game as the users might reach differently this time.
909  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will Bitcoin ever Become Physical coin ? on: November 03, 2019, 07:52:29 PM
As a collectible coin or a memorabilia yes, why not. But if you expect to carry bitcoins in your pocket and pay with them like you do with fiat currencies it wont happen. It is digital money, you don't need to touch it or physically carry it with you. All the protection is in the private keys that let you spend it.

Yes there is no need of having a physical coin as this goes against the concept of bitcoin creation but as you have rightly mentioned it can be just created as a collectibles just like medals, trophies but cannot be used for real life transaction as it will make go against the government and their will be legal consequences as well.
910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Centrality" for decentralization? on: November 03, 2019, 07:36:19 PM

Heard of the project "Centrality" from NZ? They have a decent team and website (https://centrality.ai/).

But isn't it weird to call yourself centrality if blockchain is all about achieving decentralization?

Bad marketing Smiley and on that note: can someone explain to me why this project is supposed to be useful, given that we already have Ethereum and other Dapp blockchains?

This is funny, we cannot be so quick to judge any project as we have seen many projects with awesome marketing tactics running away with investor's money or not reaching the exchange or betraying the bounty hunters by locking their token until it becomes worthless.  I am not talking about the content as there are other expertise who might be sharing their review but I am saying that the name does not play major role.
911  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ascending Triangle...we are about to break bullish. 10.5K within a week. on: November 03, 2019, 07:24:26 PM
I believe within one week from today we will break bullish and reach 10.5K. Maybe higher.
Ascending triangle has formed. Let’s see.

Always good to see bullish, realistic charts/projections. I hope you’re right OP, it’d be nice to get & stay above $10,000 before New Year.

It seems realistic really but there's no bad things blockings it's growth so provably we can see a 10k$ or maybe even more in this succeeding months. And we should remember that halving is coming so provably people set aside those negativity that's why we can see a positive prediction like this coming.

More positive thoughts are coming now, we should be careful on that because it might not be so good if we're expecting too much. Possible frustration will occur for everybody who always looks after on bullish trend, and it's good to see if we're just maintaining a calm attitude while waiting for the right time. However it that's going to perform gracefully this coming weeks, let's see what would happen in due time.

Nice to see so many positive posts after a very long time, but it would be great if we witness a gradual increase rather than sudden pump and unexpected dump. Our mind is filled with so many negative thought after a year long bearish market and I feel skeptic whether it's a bull trap or genuine increase after so many bull trap which we have witnessed. Let's not make any hasty decisions right now unless we are traders.
912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Did China Dominate Bitcoin? on: November 03, 2019, 07:14:31 PM
The Bitcoin whitepaper was released in English, how did the Chinese get sointerested ahead of others that they dominate mining of bitcoin?
They practically didn't but instead, people hype made them seems as if they are ahead of everyone. Majority of people felt that China has more larger population so whatever they engage in usually do be become successful. So whatever threat they make in pulling out of Bitcoin or banning it, many becomes anxious.

Yes it's the hypes and the way the posts goes viral does have a short term affect in the market and practically whatever China does has no term affects over the bitcoin price, after some time people will get used to these news and it will not become viral. Population does plays a major role here, but we cannot trust the motive behind Chinese government's stance on crypto due to it's dynamic policies.
913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A rising number of Americans own crypto and nearly 13 million women says study.. on: November 03, 2019, 07:04:59 PM
It's really good to see so many female holders there are. I was under the impression there were very few females. Even on here I thought there were not many females. I think there are more than we think there are.
That graph has a much larger portion then I thought. Girls don't have such an ego as guys do so maybe we don't hear of it. Though I have always wondered who the people are behind these profiles in the forum.
Where they live and how they live, what pc they use and all that. It shows we really know very little about one another.

"While an increase of people with a cryptocurrency is positive for the industry,
the vast majority of Americans are not investing in digital currencies."

I am not surprised by this. Crypto is not yet mainstream and is something only some people consider. I think the way it is so volatile is one of the main reasons they do not invest.
Then you get people like me who believe that crypto is the future with their whole heart and show so by using crypto more than fiat.
Fiat disgusts me  Tongue

Even I never thought there will be so many female users who are into crypto and as you have mentioned we have no idea who's behind the profiles in this forum so we cannot judge.

Not only Americans but most of the people who don't have clear understanding of crypto will not invest into it as some just think it's like a gamble where you invest and either get profited or end up losing without realizing that crypto never dies. Those who are into crypto like you and me are more into it for it's features and trust that bitcoin will change our lives like it did to many other people during 2017.
914  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Possible Scam Warning on: November 03, 2019, 06:54:03 PM
Possible scam warning!! A random user messaged me on discord with the following:

I have 1.22 BTC on coinsball.com and can't transfer it to my coinbase coz of limit, can i send it to you(on coinsball i still can transfer to other users), so you will withdraw it and send to me 1.12 and .1 yours.

this website has only been registered for 1 month.  There are zero google hits for it. It requires YOU to deposit 0.02 BTC in order to make the withdrawal. I have never heard of this site before and neither has some of the well know pool operators.

Pass this along to any other discord channel and forums that you are on.

Hey I received similar message before couple of months and initially I believed it when I went to the website it asked for some small amount of bitcoin as a charge in order to transfer the balance which prompted me to leave the website as once you pay it then you fall for them as they will ask more btc to transfer the amount. This post will help most of newbies. They use different reasons like limit, crypto ban in their countries just to scam people.
915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lowest Deposit/Withdrawal Fee Exchange? on: November 03, 2019, 09:18:09 AM
One of the exchange's I have seen with the lowest fees is Mercatox exchange, ethereum withdrawal cost just 0.003 ETH to withdraw, I don't like withdrawing BTC from exchanges because the withdrawal fee tend to be high, I prefer to do it in ETH because I can easily also convert it to fiat because Ethereum is very popular among the cryptocurrency enthusiast in my part of the world.

Binance withdrawal fees are one of the highest I have seen so far, 0.01 for ETH but I think that almost all exchanges charge the same withdrawal fee of 0.0005 BTC which is approximately $9+, way too high.

Yes that's the problem I mean most of the exchanges have more or less same withdrawal but we could cover bitcoin into some other altcoin which has lesser transaction fee and it's the value of bitcoin which makes the withdrawal fee look like a huge amount I mean which the Bitcoin's value is less you will not feel the same pinch which you feel while withdrawing when it's high. We cannot do much about it rather than making smart moves as you have mentioned by which is widely used nowadays by converting bitcoin into altcoin and then cashing out.
916  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in High School Syllabus on: November 03, 2019, 09:07:16 AM
According to the cryptocrunch: https://cryptocrunchapp.com/news/bitcoin-officially-included-in-french-high-school-syllabus/

Bitcoin cryptocurrency education will be implemented to French High School Syllabus. It is a new way to introduce money to students.

They are focusing on four Video questions:
1. Can bitcoin be a replacement to Euro?
2. Is bitcoin the currency of the future?
3. Is bitcoin is a currency like others?
4. Do you have to trust your currency?

Regarding this, it would be a good start to educate students about money and trust.

What's your opinion about this? Should cryptocurrency as a whole and blockchain be in schools curriculum?

This will be the best news ever bitcoin has achieved in case if this turns into reality as a whole generation will be aware of bitcoin and crypto which is still something unrealistic for most of the people who have no idea about crypto. This will empower the future generations to prosper in crypto and understand how fiat is controlled and this lead to a digital revolution in the future. But they should be taught about it as a tours of study and merits and demerits of crypto rather than teaching them about crypto as a investment scheme.
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO investors are more excited on exchanges than product developments? on: November 03, 2019, 08:58:20 AM
This is the reality nowadays, but I don't know if you agree or not.

As what I have observed since last year, lots of ICO investors are more excited and making some noise when a crypto startup announced that they will be listed in some exchanges.

I have browsed a lot of Telegram groups coming from various ICOs, IEOs and other forms of token sales. When they announce their partnership with a "XXX" company or they have launched their v2.0 of their product, it seems that the community are kind of less impressed and not excited about that.

Last year, there's an ICO where until now, they haven't listed in an exchange as they focused more on product development. It's like almost 2 years and they haven't listed their token yet in exchanges but they only give us a quarterly report on what they're doing with the product. It results for most investors to become impatient and demand their money back or getting listed to exchanges at least.

This is what I've been observing for now, the behavior of most investors who are expecting their returns or gains after the ICO is complete. What do you say guys? Agree with this or not?

It's develops mistake and not a mistake from investors because developers showcases a different raodmap at the time of pooling in the investors and later when they say they are more focused on product development it does not make any sense and shows the incapability on developers to stick to their words and moreover it doesn't make a difference to list the token just including the further development concept in white paper and website as no altcoin isb100% at the time of listing. I don't agree with my this post.
918  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: CRYPTO DOUBLERS SCAM !!! on: November 03, 2019, 08:47:52 AM
This is a very helpful article which will indeed help most of the new users who might have come across this for the first time and especially anyone would be convinced by their sophisticated way of cheating just by looking at the transactions, I am not sure how do even people think it's as easy as they claim to double the money,  we as a community needs to understand and accept the fact that it's not as easy to earn crypto and only we can do it on own with our dedication and skills and should not depend on any third part to do it for us.

Thanks for sharing this article as this will definitely helps users.

920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Price Action in relation to Bitcoin on: November 03, 2019, 08:03:30 AM
The current market situation is really bad for the alts and I really don't know what's going on with the altcoins. Although the alts are still operating normally and even bringing in big profits like Binance, ETH, TRX, ... they all suffered a sharp decline in Q3 and Q4. Any reason for this?

The reasons are a mixture of a bullish short-term outlook for Bitcoin due to a certain level of halving anticipation in the year 2020. This was made more bullish because of china's announcement. Another reason would be some factors such as Bakkt growing high in volume. All these are putting altcoins at a disadvantageous position because people were already shifting to Bitcoin. But those HODLers of altcoins should not worry because after Bitcoin's growth, altcoins will follow.
Yes this will not bother long term HODLers but rather those who has invested in altcoin with intention of short term profits. Most of the altcoin users have shifted their funds towards bitcoin  which has somewhat stabilized bitcoin price. But I don't think it's because of China's announcement as we cannot believe them anytime as they will remain against crypto even when they adopt block chain technology,  some of the altcoin markets were intentionally made bearish to reinvest around having time for a greater profit.
