901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: too much crypto coin market on: June 01, 2018, 03:05:28 PM
My opinion , Crypto coin market should clear those untrusted coin which is scam or those is unable to move on.
we need something to clear those coin. Am i right..

Lets dont be bothered with other scam or shit coins out there. Just invest your money on a good coins, simple.
If you don't believe the coin will give you earnings, dont buy it. but if you do your own research and find that coin is potential,
just buy the coin and hold it for long time.
That's more like it! Our much cherished decentralization and anonymity has its own faults and there is really not much to do to scam coins from being churned out, but if we stop being gullible and impulsive,we would be able to spot and trash such coins without any cost to us. In this digital age, virtually all the information we seek are clicks away only most of us seem to have phobia for reading.
902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is exchange? on: June 01, 2018, 02:31:44 PM
I am sure that the exchange will use everything to protect their site and their member because they want to give something to their member. and if there is any problem related to their site, they will do whatever it takes to give protection from the attackers. besides that, they will announce if they are finished to solve the problem or give any information related to their sites.
You don't seem to realize that almost all the exchanges that got hacked, involved an insider. At the end of the day, a site might mean so well, but you never can tell of that one rotten egg. So never turn an exchange to a bank and leave only enough amount for your trading, which of course, should be an amount no more than what we can afford to loss.
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why long-term trading! on: June 01, 2018, 12:35:05 PM
Long-term trading is suitable for new entrants into the market, not much experience. Because when you invest long term, you should only invest in crypto top 2 in that market is BTC and ETH. After investing you hold at least a year and not care about exchange rate fluctuations in the market, then surely you will have a high profit.
Maybe you are right! New traders which they didn't have a good experience in trading, it will be good for them to make a long term investment in BTC or ETH, for sure they will make a good profit no matter the point of buying. If we see what happened to ETH and BTC in the later years, we can confirm that each year, these two crypto increases very high, so it will be a very good investment with a high chance of making profit.

You would be sending many newbies to their terminal leave and frustration with your suggestion above, because anyone new to trading, would hardly understand or afford the luxury of waiting indefinitely for profit to come. Also to encourage them that every price is a good buy, is unfortunate. Just how cool do you think anyone that perhaps bought Bitcoin at $19,000 be feeling at the moment, with price at $7500?
904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you like about HITBTC exchange ..? on: June 01, 2018, 11:44:53 AM
Some of the tokens I have had are only traded here at Hitbtc and that should be a plus for Hitbtc, because most people would have ended up with tokens that worth next to nothing or the exchanges that would take them up might end up being one that can hardly earn people's trust. I like the fact that Hitbtc, separated the trading account from the main account and an account holder can actually accumulate the profits separate from their trading amounts. Also no verification necessary if fiats are involved is a very commendable one, exchange like Bittrex got it wrong there.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is bear mode good to the market? on: June 01, 2018, 02:04:39 AM
We are still in the bear market I believe. But what I see and observe is that some traders are taking advantage of the market dip which makes them profitable also. I guess bear mode is important because the market needs to go through a cycle and bear cannot be avoided.
There is no financial market, you'll find that price moves indefinitely in anyone direction, rather the net result of the dual between bulls and bears determines which way the market eventually. So bearish market doesn't necessarily mean  absence of bulls, rather it shows that both conditions are vital to maintain the integrity of the market.
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Over $12B wiped out from cryptocurrency market in two hours. on: June 01, 2018, 12:11:36 AM
This is the problem that we are dealing with right now, so much money is leaving the crypto market each day which is making the prices of the coins to fall down. Even though I know that the price would go back up, things like this just means that it would take much longer than normal for the prices to recover again. People need to stop selling so much coins, it is affecting the prices.
People have varied needs and risk appetite, so there is no way to talk them out of selling when they must sell. But we can at least start to mount bullish pressure by mopping the market of the excess supply and before long the price would most likely reverse and evidently it have done as much time and again.
907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to withstand whales? on: May 31, 2018, 11:57:50 PM
HODL is the single most effective and appropriate way of not feeding whales, but we also have to make a purchase. How wonderful if the plan is done simultaneously by all bitcoin users without exception, but it seems difficult to do because some of us are still many sell bitcoin even though the price is low.
HODL is not particularly suitable for every trader because some are unable to muster the courage necessary to sit tight though price could be nose diving. To such persons, I would say instead of chasing shadows, trying futilely to hinder whales, best to align with their trend and make the most such opportunities offers.
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are investors got tired of ICOs? on: May 31, 2018, 11:32:03 PM
It seems that investors got tired of ICOs in the last months. Do you believe that ICO hype will come back soon?
It's not the investors that are tired of the ICO's,it's the government. In the last few months, SEC has cracked down a lot of illegal ICO's which operated without any licensing.Obviously in such a hostile environment it becomes difficult for an investor to risk their money. They rather wait for the things to settle instead of putting money where their mouth is.
I also do not think that investors got tired of ICOs, but the seemingly trend of asking for KYC, is indeed a spoiler, because one of the main attractions to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general, is in the possibility of not disclosing one's identity, but governments desperation to be on top of everything Bitcoin, is actually a disincentive to large number of investors.
909  Economy / Speculation / Re: What/who make the price of bitcoin on: May 31, 2018, 11:15:55 PM
Hello everybody, I am new to the bitcoin and bitcointalk forum. I just wonder what/who make the price of bitcoin, and what does it depend on?
No one controls the price of bitcoin. Its price suddenly changes because of the supply and demand system. Bitcoin increases in price when many are using it, many needs it and many invest on it. But its value will go lower if many will sell it.
Since it is a known fact that whales are able to manipulate the market, one might be inclined to say that some people do control the price of Bitcoin. What is fact, is that whales only go the far of jostling the prevailing market price by way of their huge volumes, but like every altered state of equilibrium, the market normalizes sooner or later, which goes to assert that market forces are what determines what price Bitcoin turns up.
910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Altcoin price depend on BTC or ETH?? on: May 31, 2018, 10:45:42 PM
Altcoin prices mostly depend on bitcoin. Even if the trading pairs of the coin is in ethereum, the price of ethereum depends on the price of bitcoin which means that the prices of coins depends on the price of bitcoin whether directly or indirectly due to trading pairs. That is why you see that when the price of bitcoin falls, then the prices of all the other altcoins in the market start falling too.
Can't agree more! Obviously Bitcoin is the flagship cryptocurrency and even Ether derives its price from it, so even if the price of an altcoin is quoted in Ether, it indirectly goes to depend on the price of Bitcoin. An exception though can be found with Ripple and I suppose that can be explained by the fact that Ripple is not your regular  cryptocurrency and for purpose like above, it was deliberately made to be centralized against the decentralized nature of crypto currencies.
911  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can be useful for a troubled economy on: May 31, 2018, 10:26:57 PM
Goldman Sachs: Bitcoin can be useful for a troubled economy

According to the report of Goldman Sachs, Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies can be a good alternative to the national currency for countries with an unstable economy.

Analysts at Goldman Sachs Zack Pandle and Charles Himmelberg said that digital currencies and, in particular, Bitcoin, can become a viable means of payment in countries where traditional money is not sufficiently provided.

Goldman Sachs experts: crypto-currencies can help the troubled economy
That coming from a renowned investment bank of course made it a feather in the cap of Bitcoin. However, it is sure going to be a mixed grill and puzzle of the half filled cup. Whereas the people would be seeing the cup as half filled, the governments are sure to maintain that the cup is half empty!
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you multiply 100$ by 2 for 15 times it becomes 1.5m $ on: May 31, 2018, 10:07:46 PM
This is glorified hyip and they always make it sound mouth water knowing that greedy and gullible people abounds and that's exactly what they mean by this found in their front page:
Quote
Ours is a modernized financial magic that could earn you up to 6000% in investment returns within a single year.

Anyone who believe their bogus claim, can believe anything, because it goes without saying that there are no business structures/models that can support such claims and people should be aware, they might even go the lengthy of paying the first few multiples and that would be like carrot before donkey.

913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocurrency market dropped on: May 31, 2018, 09:33:54 PM
It's a relatively small market so very easy to be manipulated by largest players: they can easily pump and dump making money both ways. In addition, the lack of regulations makes things even worse
Big players always have added advantage in every market, so it is not something unusual or peculiar to Bitcoin or cryptocurrency and it is not necessarily bad news to have whales affect the price, because ultimately what they set out to accomplish, is to be able to buy cheap and sell high. At that, an average Bitcoin trader, able to recognize this pattern can also ride on the wings or perhaps fins of the whales.
914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More and more Scam projects on: May 31, 2018, 08:25:51 PM
Guys, faced with the project, took part in the bounty, the result of Scam. Took part in another bounty company, there ICO ended more than a month ago, and the payment has not yet been the bounty Manager is silent...Apparently this year's bad in respect of ICO projects.
The whole idea of ICOs is very good, because it allows people with good knowledge and strong vision of their project to raise the funds to make them real. However, it is mainly used to scam people as well as for money laundering. I think eventually there will appear some standards for ICOs and bad project simply won't attract investors.
So many good ideas have had to be hijacked by criminally minded people and ICOs happened to be one of the latest and that explains the banning and strictness of most countries on ICOs and why KYC is fast becoming a criteria to participation.

For now, though, I believe it is better to avoid icos and simply wait till they make it to big exchanges before investing. The prices often fall a lot right after that, so it is a more beneficial strategy than the one where you risk to lose everything by giving your money to scammers.
That's probably a good strategy and a closer look at the traces left by most coins/tokens, confirms your take that price usually fall, soon after it's listed in an exchange and that's on account of rush to sell off by good number of participants. So spotting a good project and marking time until a time as above, can actually be more profitable and safer than buying during ICOs.
915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy low and sell high is very tough on: May 31, 2018, 07:54:17 PM
When you ask someone for advise they always say buy low and sell high but this is very tough.

What is your strategy for buying low and selling high?

Do you agree with buy low and sell high is very tough?

This should be the best formula ever in order to be rich and reach your goal in crypto. But this in not usually happening overtime. This needs a lot of hard work and monitoring of your investments because it is very hard to predict the market value. There are times when all the value is at its lowest and we tend to panic and our stress level increases. This is the way it is, the method is really very tough.
This is the 21st century, the digital age and hard work no longer is the tonic for success, but the knowledge and information you have. That is made vividly clear in the fact that this time have seen very young and smart people displacing the old and conservative people that until recent times, lined up the list of the wealthiest people on earth.
916  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has turned into a scam coin on: May 31, 2018, 07:37:03 PM
Currently its over 15550 USD The transactions on bitcoin network is taking me more then 24 hours no wonder the price is going up its a ponzi scheme and because its slow people are locked as they are not able to trade it
ITS just a shit coin with a hype on it. Exchangers Being Hacked Many sites having problem sending and receiving bitcoins How is this even the future. There are many other coins which has fastest transactions this is just a gimmick
BTCig shit

I won't say "scam". I think you see its movement of going down in value as a factor to consider it a scam; however, it is surely and certainly not the case because of the fact that the market, together with its assets, are just like this. It experiences lows as it experiences highs. So, the better strategy here is to actually check out what should be done during this bad times to actually make it unfold into a good venture in the future. Basically, just turn something trash in something that can be considered a treasure.
That was unmistakenly the whining of a Bitcoin hater, because his argument was premised on nothing substantial other than his illusion that there are many better coins out there. Might be instructive to note that Bitcoin have been here since 2009, fought many battles and yet unshattered. If indeed it were a scam, well before now, one of those obituaries would have nailed it already, but instead it's getting more popular by the day!
917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We Need To BAN Futures Trading In Bitcoin on: May 30, 2018, 07:59:43 AM
There is no physical delivery of Bitcoin, and settlement is in a fiat currency. This means that it isn't a bitcoin futures market, but just a speculation on the price of Bitcoin.
Bitcoin futures is a derivative of Bitcoin and most derivatives in the financial markets are not actually exercised, but are traded out before their expiry date. It offers some ways to hedge against market volatility and knowing how volatile Bitcoin can be, high net worth holders of Bitcoin cannot but embrace this instrument.

918  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] IOS - Signature & Avatar Campaign | Up to $150/week - (Extended) on: May 30, 2018, 06:49:08 AM
Week 5 payments in BTC and IOST received. Thanks MadZ and the team behind IOS Project!
919  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We Need To BAN Futures Trading In Bitcoin on: May 25, 2018, 09:30:39 PM
It was apparent and a good number of Bitcoin enthusiasts saw that the emergence of Bitcoin futures was going to open the doors for the manipulation of the Bitcoin market, because Bitcoin futures would actually be an instrument to diffuse the positive sentiment of early adopters through their ability to short Bitcoin and since it's deep pockets club, they can readily instigate the dumping of the market and the panic sell off by regular most users, would be their dream come through.
920  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know when to BUY? on: May 25, 2018, 09:03:56 PM
I buy when i see situation like today as bitcoin and ethereum has both gone down today with 7 and 10 percent respectively so it is a good time to buy them at a lower price,,,it may recover in the next couple of days again so it can give some good profit in a short time.
Seeing both Bitcoin and Ether down by 10% on any day, is indeed an invitation to buy as much as one can possibility buy and it won't be long before they turn green again, because those two are the flagship currencies of cryptocurrency market and the huge demand they have earned, usually see to it that they don't stay down for long.
