921  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC broke all major support lines, and the worse is yet to come. on: December 03, 2018, 02:10:28 PM
I'm still targeting $3500 US but I will accumulate in small steps along the way also.

MCGA!

923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BULL RUN! BULL RUN! BULL RUN! on: November 28, 2018, 04:29:12 PM
I have capitulated already since Q3. I'm not expecting any bull run this Q4, even on 2019.
Crypto-winter is here everyone.  Cry

You are probably sitting pretty nice right now for a re-entry.
924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: November 28, 2018, 04:27:39 PM
is now the right time to buy ethereum, I see ethereum prices have started to increase compared to yesterday ?

Could be a bull trap. Give it longer than a day to play out. The slide has lasted months. Too soon to call a bottom. But if you believe long term in the concept then it's been a good time to buy for awhile. If you are a swing trader or short then you'll have to determine your own entry and exit points, everyone has different criteria.
925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]LifeTask-The first decentralized platform for a talent driven job market on: November 27, 2018, 07:13:09 PM
This looks like a fantastic idea for a business that actually uses the blockchain as an integral part, not just a gimmick to sell coins. However I see one issue, maybe it has been addressed already but I'm not reading 100 pages of "Reserved! When's the airdrop?" posts to get to it, and that is that soft skills are a far better predictor of employee success than hard quantifiable technical competencies. The technical competency needs to be there of course, but if you are a robot with zero social skills and low ability to work with others then you are a liability to your employer. How does the platform address that? Those are skills that are not necessarily quantifiable.
LifeTask uses implemented artificial intelligence to match candidates to vacancies. It consists of two clouds, namely a cloud containing candidates’ talents and interests, together with a cloud that contains employers’ requirements.

That sounds great but you didn't really address the question. How does your platform handle soft skills, emotional intelligence, team compatibility, etc. These are the things that employers have trouble sourcing, most of the time they do not have trouble finding technical skills.
926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: November 27, 2018, 06:32:03 PM
You can safely ignore anyone who claims Eth is a Ponzi scheme. Either they do not know the definition or they are just trying to get you to capitulate. Eth may very well fail in the long run, it may be an awful investment, the future is unknown, could be the tech gets transferred to something else or goes away completely. However, a Ponzi scheme it most definitely is not.
927  Economy / Speculation / Re: What can save the market? on: November 27, 2018, 06:07:03 PM
Complete capitulation from the retail investor will signal to the whales that they've pushed as far as they can this cycle, and then the price will go up again.
928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don`t care about the market. I will HODL to USE! on: November 27, 2018, 04:52:25 PM
Yes it will be nice to not have the bank as the middleman in every single financial transaction, giving us death by a thousand cuts in fees. However, taxes are not the problem, they support a society that simple pure capitalism would never be able to do. By uplifting others quality of life you uplift your own and our whole species can go on for bigger and better things.
929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't buy bitcoin because it won't be fine on: November 27, 2018, 04:40:27 PM
In a fraudulent investment scheme, like Ponzi, investors transfer their utilizable resources, be it money, goods or services, and then they end up with something which has zero utilization capacity, like promise or non-binding record of investment. After the investment, the only possible way for them to get utilizable resources back is if new investors join the scheme and in that way bring such resources with them.

BTC doesn't require new investors to maintain the illusion of value. It also does not have "zero utilization capacity." It does not have those Ponzi attributes. It may completely collapse at some point and/or all other crypto may tank or the tech transfer into something completely new, however that does not make it a Ponzi scheme.
930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you use diversification? on: November 27, 2018, 04:23:08 PM
Buying all cryptos is not diversification. Diversification would be some crypto, some stocks/bonds, some cash, some gold/silver, even some real estate.

931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm very disappointed with myself. on: November 27, 2018, 04:18:41 PM
Just make rules for yourself before you enter the trade.

Stop-loss: X
Take profit: X

Also combine the above good rules with "never ever invest more than you can walk away from forever"
932  Economy / Economics / Re: Everything is an investment-change my mind on: November 27, 2018, 02:21:14 PM
Investing is nothing more and nothing less than risk management at a fundamental level. Because life itself is risk and tradeoff daily.

It'll be fine, it's an emerging technology, many factors that try to pull it down, governments, banks , institutions, whales... It'll go back to growing at some point.

Agreed. The tech is here to stay. What that looks like in the future may be very different from what we see now though.
935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MUSICOIN]Volareo now processing pre-orders for Musicoin smart speaker🎸 on: November 27, 2018, 02:04:39 PM
MUSIC is a great idea for musicians, content providers, etc. It's also a nice idea for consumers, but it has to compete with the current notion that all creative content should be free and no business model can successfully compete with that. Also, there is no ecosystem for curation in place which is arguably one of the last areas where a music industry middleman could legitimately provide value when inserting themselves between the producer and the consumer.
936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH: Deep crash before going to the moon? on: November 27, 2018, 01:59:47 PM
Can't say anything. All assumption and predictions have been proved wrong in q4 of 2018
People were expecting bullrun will start by end of 2018 but we can see codition of market. Nobody is able to predict future price trends of any coin. Now people are saying q1 of 2019 will bring bullrun in cryptos.

And when Q1 of 2019 has passed without a bullrun, people will say that the bullrun will start in Q2, and so on, and so on. We've heard countless "moments" for the new bull so far: Chinese New Year, Wall Street Bonusses, Consensus, Tax Season etc.

It will start when it starts, the only known thing for sure is everyone's predictions good and bad are usually completely wrong. I'm not worried. If the various alts and BTC all started behaving differently, different levels of volatility, different price slopes, volumes, etc. then yeah it would be more questionable. But with the way every single coin trends almost identically to BTC then there is no way there won't be another big run sometime. That said, remember everyone's predictions good and bad are usually completely wrong, lol.

937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: November 27, 2018, 01:54:43 PM
ICO stopped to go because the market is falling, not because the ETH is bad. In a growing market, ICO will go again

I think this is likely true. They might have to rebrand the term ICO to something else though to avoid the stink. And it won't be the same as before because when ICO 2.0 happens it will be with regulation in place I suspect.
938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: HOdlcoin CPU Solo Mining Guide on: November 22, 2018, 12:43:27 AM
This coin is very well mined on Intel processors, but how to cash these coins? According to coinmarketcap, this coin is traded only on CoinExchange with ridiculous trading volumes (0.03 BTC every day).

Put your sells in at the bid and you'll single handedly influence the market. Be a whale!
939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the future of crypto, bitcoin is not. on: November 21, 2018, 08:02:05 PM
The future of music is electronic but people still play acoustic instruments. There is room for both old and new in the "future".
940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can blockchain replace bank? on: November 21, 2018, 04:09:14 PM
Banks will always exist because people will always think they need a central location to store their value that they perceive as safe. It isn't of course, but to change that perception and educate people about blockchain will take a generation.
