921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dramatically Faster Bitcoin Confirmations! (without any negatives) on: February 27, 2015, 05:17:30 PM
I dont see the problem with confirmations. In the CNN documentary, merchants were doing their transactions and no one was worried about confirmations.

Did ISIS Really Passed On Bitcoin

Well, I agree with the former under secretary.

Maybe, they are just stalling the media or giving false news about them making a new currency.

Anyway, if they do use Bitcoin, price shouldve been astronomical by now.
Why would the price be astronomical? they are just a bunch of barbaric towelheads that everyone but equally mentally insane people hate.

That is IF you are unfortunate enough to be Ukrainian.

Let this be a lesson to all those people who think Bitcoin won't protect you in a currency collapse. Bulshit, it will.

If you are Greek and you aren't 50% BTC 50% metals you are clinically insane.

Although I'm not the fan of rainbows and your work is similar to the artworks produced by children in kindergarten, but you should go on.
Let his spirit guide you.

When I play nyan cat my cat looks at the screen in a funny way. Cute.
925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What company should take btc? on: February 25, 2015, 07:03:33 PM
I cant wait to see a nice little or big BTC button that say "Buy this with BTC" in every single ebay object ever.

Wow I didnt know a lot of alternatives to trezzor exists, will look it up.
927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regret and depression on: February 25, 2015, 06:59:17 PM
If anyone should have become an overnight millionaire it should have been me. I've been involved in virtual economies for many years now (mmorpg gold exchanges) and if anyone should have had the foresight to become an early adopter of bitcoin it should have been me but instead I was wasting my time fucking around with virtual gold. I wake up every morning feeling depressed.
Cheer up man, not everything is possible in this short life.
That's why life is depressing 24/7, unless you luck out like the early adopters.
928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin and Not a better improved crypto? on: February 25, 2015, 06:30:09 PM
Because Bitcoin is the original one and has the network effect and we don't need a new unnecessary coin.
929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is too complex for the average person on: February 25, 2015, 06:15:22 PM
Do people how cars work? How smartphones work? How computers work? Nnnnope. Yet everyone uses it.
Bitcoin's use is going to be exponentially simpler, and knowing how it works its irrelevant to the average joe.
930  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will it hit $1000 again? on: February 25, 2015, 04:48:40 PM
I think if the Winklevoss ETF  gets approved and launched, we'll see a huge panic buying  and big correction.  If that happens, we could be at $1,000 or more in next years
This coupled with the Gemini exchange should give us a nice bull rally.
931  Economy / Economics / Re: Kammenos makes media threat on: February 25, 2015, 04:44:12 PM
The agreement is temporary. Drachma is coming.
Weren't you the one saying that Greece wouldn't leave the EUR?

And why make an agreement like that if it's temporary? Let's just get shit done already? it's like the forking thing.
932  Economy / Economics / Re: EUR might drop below USD on: February 25, 2015, 04:42:34 PM
Yeah that's not likely. This is much too big difference, there would have happen something very unusual like EU breakdown or war.
Not war but if EUR goes under USD it would be pretty bad, it would at least mean Greece and Spain bailed.

EUR and USD are likely to go down in value against hard assets as more of them are created. Don't believe me, believe the ECB and FED that say they will.

Yup but it will be slower than a lot of people would like to think. Everything can happen nowadays tho.
933  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: February 25, 2015, 04:41:17 PM
They definitely are mixing well. A lot of porn sites do accept bitcoin payments now.
Also allows people to remain anonymous while purchasing
The porn industry is insanely big. A great niche where bitcoin falls down perfectly. Every single porn site will be accepting BTC.

Hope porn payment will be a smaller part of BTC circulation when BTC is used widely.
Why? It's going to be half of it just like half of the internet is porn.
934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NYC residents are being robbed of their Bitcoin! on: February 25, 2015, 04:39:57 PM
Probably they meet in a quiet area, if you do the exchange IRL dont do it in a small street like in movies, meet in mcdonalds or something.
935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Miner Aquifer Files for Bankruptcy on: February 25, 2015, 04:38:55 PM
Aquifer, a California-based Bitcoin mining firm, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The company filed on February 19, but the official documents have just been made available today.

Read here: http://www.coinfinance.com/news/bitcoin-miner-aquifer-bankruptcy

All cloud-mining sites are either ponzie or go down hard.
Not an Era of mining

Badly managed or scam artist cloud mining sites go down hard, others are doing just fine because they provide honest services, mining is fine, it's just like with exchanges though and things like that, you can't have some random guy setting this shit up who doesn't know a thing about what he's getting into and expects to be a millionaire in a week.

It was clear most cloud mining sites were scams since the beginning. Thats why I voided it. Some of the legit companies stopped their cloud mining services anyway tho, just not lucrative at current price.
936  Other / Off-topic / Re: TV Series Recommendations... on: February 24, 2015, 01:18:04 AM
The Walking Dead is fine  Smiley
It's getting pretty boring lately, too much filler, but the last EP got interesting at the end tho.. some random guy appeared.
937  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: February 24, 2015, 12:58:54 AM
Are you high? $45 a day for food for 3 people? More like $20. Unless you're 300 pounds and never work out.

Where do you live that you're feeding three people for $20 a day TOTAL?

That's ~$6 per day per person...
No idea, anyone that works out actually needs to eat more, and he's saying it as if you need to eat less if you work out.. 0 sense.
938  Economy / Economics / Re: Help me invest 50btc? on: February 24, 2015, 12:46:12 AM
Aww 50 BTC would make a nice bankroll for MultiDice  Smiley

profits for dice sites are slow.. except for pd and bitdice

so, that 50btc wont return much
There's not a single site related to bitcoin that's worth putting 50BTC right now. Things are too experimental. If you want to risk go for it tho.
939  Economy / Economics / Re: EUR might drop below USD on: February 24, 2015, 12:21:46 AM

940  Economy / Economics / Re: exposure your(or someone's) multi cryptocurerncy assets on: February 23, 2015, 11:45:56 PM
Can you explain what is this about? Im not clicking random links from untrusted newbies...

Its some kind of a calculator that transform all your other coins value to bitcoin, and shows how much you can have if u convert it to bitcoin at that time.
Might be nice for someone thats holding many cryptos, but i think they know prices in their heads anyways since they are probably all traders.

Whenever ure concerned about some link, you can scan it on virustotal, or just open up another chrome windows in sandbox..

cheers
It sounds like something like cryptofolio.info which is really nice and it's what I already use to keep track of tons of random coins that I mined.
