921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: we don't have proper education on bitcoin. on: April 15, 2023, 09:32:14 PM
I had created a thread More Awareness needed, 100$ or Bitcoin??? and we had the discussion about a video in which people looked to be westerners were asked a question and the response were into discussion.

It is true that there is not much of awareness experienced around. Whether it is Western nation or other part of the world, everywhere it is almost the same. Some part of every country have got good number of people aware about bitcoin and services/acceptance of bitcoin can be seen accumulated on specific regions. This needs to change and it takes time as the real learning isn't possible in a day.
922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: April 15, 2023, 09:25:08 PM
At this point, the associate teams are facing a double whammy. On one hand, teams like United Arab Emirates, USA and Oman are recruiting former first class players from test nations and the poorer associate nations can't compete against them. On the other hand, the fund distribution is linked to performance in the ICC qualifier tournaments. The poorer teams are getting squeezed from all sides. Neither they get the opportunity to compete in the big tournaments, nor do they get enough funds to properly train their players.

These are the reasons why the associate teams do not take cricket seriously for the most part. And the players who play in these teams are also not going to take cricket as a profession seriously because they also know that the pay that they are going to get is probably not going to be enough. So, these are the reasons why they do not actually get better.

Of course, there is also the reason for ICC not giving enough attention to them. The big four also does not care about them as well.

ICC has constricted the low-income countries, if those poor country get a good opportunity like Afghanistan, those teams would have reached in good position. As much as Afghanistan has been in cricket, cricket could have been more competitive if more teams add to their position. But that is not possible if ICC does not contribute. It is impossible to get good output from small countries without increasing financial incentives. The small teams are not getting support from their boards or from the ICC. They are not benefiting from any aspect.

Afghanistan didn't had much of opportunity or support. The country players progressed well amidst the financial and hard time on their country. Atleast the small nations were able to play within their country. For Afghanistan they were depending the neighbouring countries for their matches. This is how they slowly grew up, and they had got consideration at times which isn't deniable.
923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: April 15, 2023, 09:19:12 PM
We are seeing some interesting matches today first rublev managed to beat fritz 2 to 1 as expected and the score between sinner and Rune is 1 1, after the first set i thought it will be an easy victory for sinner but it seems Rune did some adjustment and won the second one but i still expect sinner to be the winner today it will be a great final between him and rublev if it happen.

Rublev won and i think now main favorite to win in the final whoever he plays against. Sinner and Rune playing an amazing match and i think we will see their a deciding tie break and i think Sinner can take it but in tie breaks you never know it can go either way
The match reached the deciding set. Same as the second set Rune took advantage at the last moment with a break point and won the match. The match is supposed to reach the tie breaker, because at the last point Sinner was at the lead 30:0, further it was Rune to win every point(15:0, 30:0, 30:15, 30:30, 30:40 BP MP). The final is going to be interesting as both are almost equally strong and placed close on the Association of Tennis professionals.
924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk IPL Prediction Pool & Discussion 2023 on: April 15, 2023, 09:02:27 PM
I'm still on the bottom of the leaderboard. But today's prediction win is really good. I'm the only one to win the point on the match between Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants. I don't have much idea about the squad, and lost hope when wickets continued to fall. Finally after seeing Raza, expected the match to turn and the same happened.

925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the altcoin holders hang on until the bull run comes ? on: April 14, 2023, 10:55:21 PM
When it comes to altcoins, it's really hard to keep holding on especially when you see the price is currently rising at its current ATH and the other cryptocurrencies are not moving their price. Of course, you won't gonna wait for a bull run when you witnessed those sceneries because you won't know whether the price will still be like that or it might be not the case anymore because it's already over for that coin and the reason for that is, the hype has already subsided and the price right after that is going to decrease little by little each day.
I hate to say this but as per market observation, many people can't wait for the ATH but rather make early decision to sell when seeing the price is growing. And I would say that people had already change after missing the last 2016-2017 bullish market for not selling their coins at high price. But unfortunately, the outcomes is not good and a reason why we can't see that price keep on high as it ended just days as these investors selling of their coins to make sure that they will never miss the opportunity again.
With bitcoin people have the belief and keep hold unlike the market behaviour. With altcoins users always have the dilemma whether to sell or keep hold to experience the best profit. As mentioned most of the investors experienced massive blow during the 2016-2017 altcoin season and further more altcoins went out of usage and got delisted. This is the major reason why the priority from users is to sell when the market of altcoins have reached better position. Maybe holding to experience ath could turn to be disappointing.
926  Economy / Economics / Re: How do feels losing money? on: April 14, 2023, 10:50:24 PM
Everyone feels down at such circumstances. We've come across lots and lots of similar investment schemes around the world. To profit out of these schemes we should know how to convince people and join under you. I'm not sure about the business in which OP have invested. Most of the business happening around these days were the pyramid scheme. The top management will earn and runs away. Take it a learning, atleast then onwards have better understanding and invest than thinking of the profit promised out of the business.
927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Laszlo Hanyecz see it as 10,000 BTC or as $41? on: April 14, 2023, 10:44:15 PM
I could remember when I did research about Laszlo, he does that to promote Bitcoin not knowing that it will be one of his biggest mistake ever in the history of Bitcoin. He had made the mistake and now everyone is seeing it as a foolishness which is not so. He decided to sell his Bitcoin because he was just trying to see if Bitcoin can be used to purchase something online.
Really I don't see it as a mistake he made but his attempt to buy pizza with his Bitcoin made the value of Bitcoin to skyrocket those days increase Bitcoin awareness around the world.
Im not sure whether his intention was to promote bitcoin or not, but he wants to find if someone could offer service in exchange for bitcoin. With that in mind he posted it on our forum and a guy bought pizza and delivered to Laszlo. What was hos thinking and his loss is secondary, because if he hadn't used it as currency by that time we couldn't have experienced the ongoing growth of bitcoin. Even now this could've been serving around $100. El Salvador and other countries could've never intended to make it legal tender and more positive growth could've got restricted.
928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How not having money helped my Bitcoin journey on: April 14, 2023, 10:39:25 PM
I had no access to money when I knew about Bitcoin, I had the desire to acquire many Bitcoin but I have no way, instead of moving on with my life I kept myself busy, reading and reading about Bitcoin, installed my first Bitcoin wallet on a Pentium 4 PC, I knew about Proof of work, I tried mining for the first time using a dual-core PC ( second PC ), if I have enough money to invest I wouldn't have had time for all this learning.
Kinda similar when I was first time actually got serious to learn and want to do something with Bitcoin. Started with nothing but laptop and mobile data for my internet purpose. Started from faucet where it actually paid decent than these days, that day was really precious because stuff was easy that day especially claiming from faucet where you could get paid decently from that and learn things from there.

It's true that when you start from zero, you don't have any feel of rush because originally it starts really slow so you can get used to do it with the pace you can make and make the process/result really worth at the end.
Everyone used to have similar experience. At the beginning our mind always think of making big money. At some point we'll realise it is hard to invest as the price is really high. Only thing that could give hands is learning and the other way is to think of having some unique ideas with bitcoin acceptance. Maybe the learning won't bring instant money, but it'll surely help in the long run.

Starting from the scratch let you explore and learn perfectly. There's a statement, slow and steady wins the race. That is what the reality when we acquire knowledge and experiment things to master it.
929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 14, 2023, 09:29:22 PM
Kolkata Knight Riders  -  Sunrisers Hyderabad

Expect today's Kolkata Knight Riders vs Sunrisers Hyderabad match to be very crowded. Kolkata started the season on a losing streak, but in the next two matches, they managed to defeat two big teams like Gujarat and Bengaluru. And Kolkata's performance in both matches was outstanding. Kolkata's performance impressed everyone.
After having a rough start to the season Kolkata Knight Riders have been successful in turning around their situation. Given the calibre of those teams their victories over Bengaluru and Gujarat stand out as particularly outstanding and it is always thrilling to watch a squad deliver at crunch time. In what promises to be an exciting encounter against Sunrisers Hyderabad, I hope that the Kolkata fans are out in force to support their team and create a memorable atmosphere.

In the end, Kolkata lost today's match. And their bowlers can be blamed for Kolkata's defeat. The pitch was batting-friendly. However, Kolkata's bowlers gave plenty of runs. Their performance was not good. Except for Sunil Narine, every Kolkata bowler has given plenty of runs. Ferguson scored 37 runs in an over and Umesh Yadav gave away 42 runs in 3 overs. If they could have done some controlled bowling, they would have been able to stop the Hyderabad team before 200. Batting on a big target like 229 runs is much more difficult to win. At the same time, the performance of Kolkata's top order was poor today as in the previous matches.
With T20 format cricket it is really hard for the bowlers to be very effective. It is highly advantageous for the bowlers. When Narine is able to maintain good economy, these bowlers should've performed well. At the end Kolkata Knight Riders have lost the match by 23 runs. Better bowling might've changed the match. KKR batting is not to the mark, because the powerplay isn't used well. During the starting overs wickets fell and scoring is very low. At the end Rana and Rinku Singh performed good, if not the match would've been a loss by big margin.
930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: April 13, 2023, 11:58:15 PM
Even in their football and Olympic teams, they include a lot of expats. But the difference is that the FIFA and IOC rules force them to provide citizenship to these players first, before including them in the team. A perfect example is that of Qatar team in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Around 40% of the players were expats (with Qatari citizenship, like Ró-Ró from Cabo Verde, Mohammed Muntari from Ghana and Almoez Ali from Sudan) and some 60% were natives. ICC doesn't have any such restrictions, and therefore they can include whomever they want.

Qatar atleast has 60% native players and remaining 40% are expats but still have the nationality. That's not the case with cricket, if you see teams of UAE then there is no local player as all are either from Pakistan or India. The downside of this approach is that nations that are passionate about cricket are suffering alot like Nepal. ICC has no objection on such team of expats which mean they will continue to have team like this.
We should understand one thing, it isn't mandatory for every sports to have similar rule. ICC as the governing body for cricket have framed its own rules and regulations, same as what FIFA have done for football. When you go in depth it is possible to see certain rules in FIFA favourable for specific part of the world. It is wrong to compare the rules framed by ICC with FIFA.

ICC haven't strict the rule to have native players or to prove the identity as countries involvement into cricket is low. Over the years when more teams gets in, ICC may change the rule or it is upto the country to restrict only the natives to play on the national team.
931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Females domination in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies on: April 13, 2023, 10:07:27 PM
More number of women into bitcoin usage or more number of men into bitcoin usage doesn't gonna make any changes in the market. It all shows how aware is women and men in cryptocurrency. Just out of the women/men dominance none were able to have control over the market. It is more welcoming thing that more women are getting into cryptocurrency usage, because Women are much obsessed with fashion and beauty than technology. Here it shows the involvement of women in technology based advancement.
932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Premier League #IPL on: April 13, 2023, 09:40:48 PM
After having few entertaining matches right now we have another one-sided match with disciplined bowling from GT give them good advantage and now their batsmen are also doing good job for the third win of this season from their fourth match after winning toss a good decision by Hardick Pandya to bowl first give them good advantage, and they take few early wickets specially inform Dhawan were cheaply bowled out by Mohammad Shami which helps them for restricting PBK for having target like this 153 all bowers were on target.

Now as they were chasing this target lost two wickets with 91 runs in 12 overs mean things completely under their control Gill and Captain Pandya both are at crease which mean we will have early ended of this match as well.
It's getting close, to be honest a couple.of wickets here could really change the match. PBKS Strategy in batting has failed miserably their bowlers are still doing pretty well trying to defend the target but the batters really are performing below par. Gujarat on the other hand are quite fierce, Gill is in marvelous form to be honest and they have a lot of batting depth as well.
A certain win awaits for Gujarat Titans in this match. Basically 153 runs did not seem worthy of this wicket. Moreover cricketers also thought that this match would be high scoring. Punjab Kings continuous defeats are taking the team to the bottom. It has been revealed to almost everyone that the Punjab Kings team is quite weak this season. As the result of this match is certain, everyone will have to think about the next match. Shekhar Dhawan scored normally high today if he could have made a bit of progress then we can expect a win.
It looked like an easy win for Gujarat Giants with the batting from Shubman Gill. At the end over the match became interesting with the bowling from Sam Curran. Finally with a ball left, Gujarat Giants recorded its win and stays on the third position on the points table based on net runrate.

Shikhar Dhawan couldn't able to perform good and most of the players that have contributed for the 153 runs played as if like playing ODI. Punjab Kings were in good position and it needs improvement from the players. In particular the stabilized performance is more required to keep its hope of moving to the top 4 position.
933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can this be effective against the increasing numbers of gamblers? on: April 13, 2023, 09:32:18 PM
This doesn't make any big impact. These are just self consoling plans from the gambling platforms. Throughout the match the light boards around the ground runs different advertisement. Most of the sponsor ads can be seen on the light boards. So, in one way or the other the sponsor ads were visible to the audience.

Very few follow the ads whereas the majority have got their schedule with sports betting. They just gamble on those specific matches. For this reason the audience never look upon the ads and the prime focus will be on the teams and the players.
934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 13, 2023, 02:15:31 AM
The match is in completely in favour of Chennai Super Kings. Gaikwad failed to perform, but the opening went good with the scoring from Conway and Rahane. The middle order is complete disappointment as Dube, Moeen Ali and Rayudu failed to contribute at the required time. This had increased the pressure among the players and finally Dhoni and Jadeja gave the try. Finally good match to watch and lucky day for the supporters of Rajasthan Royals.
935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are lotteries really a good way to engage with gamblers? on: April 11, 2023, 06:09:50 PM
the lotteries that I have seen on gambling sites are really difficult to win because they involve a very large number of tickets / participants ... very complex or very expensive activities to participate in ...
even if I receive free tickets from my gambling activity, I never have an interest in verifying ...
the real odds of winning are so low Roll Eyes
I have not idea about changes that can be implemented, mostly because I have not so much interest in this kind of gambling.
Based on the gambling activity gamblers were allotted with tickets. These tickets were shuffled and the winners were chosen. Single whale gambler used to have hundreds and thousands of tickets as most of the platforms issue tickets for every $1000 wagered.

I prefer to join on lotteries that are conducted with limited participants. Some have been conducted on our forum with limited slots of 30 members. Each were allocated with the number between 1 and 30. Gamblers are allowed to pick number based on first come first served basis. I'm interested in such kind of lotteries than the regular ones.
936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: April 10, 2023, 11:32:54 PM
Although he already won many prestigious trophies/titles, I don't think he isn't serious or just for fun to join Al Nassr. It is a serious business, he is paid with big salary to win Saudi Pro League title. It is not only about making Al Nassr become more popular with Ronaldo. I'm pretty sure that Al Nassr owner targets to win the title of Saudi Pro League this season. Unfortunately, it is not as expected, Ronaldo got difficulty getting 3 points in a few matches. It includes the current match (against Al Feiha). Lossing 3 points in this match makes Al Nassr to be more difficult to win the title.
why is it so difficult for Al-nassr to win a trophy this season. in fact they are only 3 points behind ittihad fc. don't they still have a pretty big chance if we look at what they've done so far. Al nassr must really focus not to lose points in the upcoming match that's what they have to do. For Ronaldo, if he fails to get a trophy this season, it doesn't mean he will fail this season because he came to Al Nassr in the second half of the season, in fact he has made a big change for Al Nassr since he joined last season's transfer window.

A big salary will not be a burden for Ronaldo because the Saudi League will be the easiest match for his football career if we see him achieve success in the UCL, Laliga and EPL.

Above is the list of each team winning the Saudi Arabia Pro League trophy. Al-Hilal tops the list and Al-Nassr stands next to it. Al-Ittihad stand in the third position with 8 trophy wins. Al-Shabab stands next to it. This means the competence is high within these teams for a long. The competence haven't increased just on the presence of Ronaldo. He's considered to be a support system for the team to progress better.

As Al-Hilal draw the match against Al-Ta'ee now the team have moved down to fourth position while Al-Shabab have moved to the third position on the points table. So small difference continues from the start of the league which needs to be overcome at the earliest to have advantage on winning the trophy.

Learn as much possible and the same makes you better with cryptocurrency investment. Every investment have got risks, what we need to analyse is how our cryptocurrency is risky compared to the traditional investment. How this can be overcome by an user to experience the best of it. Don't have some goals to be achieved through bitcoin which might disappoint, because we don't know in what direction the price moves.

When one doesn't have any deadline and were able to have patience then anything could be achieved based on the capital investment. Some expect $1000 out of $50 capital which is quite hard and some get lucky. So, we should understand some basics and so makes the expectation.

During those days my father in law had his pension and majority of the needs were fulfilled through him. In particular we never experienced difficulty in getting good food which is a big blessing. Also the lockdown made us spend good time with him. He always wants people to surround him and have some talks. We used to play cards to kill time. Later he had an unexpected attack and passed away during the year 2020. It was a big blow to the family and slowly things got into track thinking life has to move on.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru VS Lucknow Super Giants

I am very excited about today's match between Bengaluru vs LSG. This match is expected to be very competitive. Because both teams are in very good form. Despite the unfortunate loss against Chennai, the LSG team won easily against Hyderabad and Delhi. Their performance was very good.
On the other hand, Bengaluru's performance is not stable. But their squad is very strong. They have several world-class batsmen in their squad. My prediction for this match is that both teams will be able to score more than 180. And I am willing to bet on Bengaluru to win.
Match has gained much expectation as it is played in home ground. Already Royal Challengers have got good fanbase, now the match being played in home ground have increased the expectation on the RCB team. Both the teams are almost equally strong which we can understand from the odds for both the teams which is 1.90 for RCB and 1.86 for LSG.

The team that performed well against Mumbai Indians disappointed in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders. On the other side LSG have won against Delhi Capitals and SRH. Lost against CSK, so this match is going to be close and changes can happen at the last five overs of the match.
940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 10, 2023, 08:36:17 AM
Out of a total of 143/9, Shikhar Dhawan made 99 not out and 6 runs came from extras. All the remaining batsmen made a grand total of 38 runs from 55 balls. Sam Curran was the only other player to get to double digits, as he made 22 from 15 balls. Others made 16 runs from 40 balls, which will be considered as slow even in test cricket. And this time it was Mayank Markande who destroyed them with a spell of 4-0-15-4. And in return Sunrisers Hyderabad didn't had to toil too hard. They won relatively easily, thanks to Rahul Tripathi and the captain Aiden Markram.

Imagine condition of Punjab Kings if Shikhar Dhawan also got out on 20 or 30. Mayank Markande has played only one T20I from India side and he has top bowling figures in yesterday game.
One thing I realized in IPL is that there are franchise that have invested lots of money during players auction and bought good players. While there are also franchise that are limited in budget and that's the prime reason why they have weak teams. So performance of every team is also linked with how much money franchise owner has invested at the time of player auction.
It's not unusual. Because large money you spend on team you will usually be able to recruit good players. And those who are relatively weak financially will try to create a reliable team like them. But can you achieve the crown of the final by spending more money? is there any guarantee? Of course not. In that case, the weak franchisees also try to win that transient through some potential players. In that case, the cost of their money will also be reduced. There is a lot of evidence in all these tournaments where rich franchise team cannot survive for the final.
It all depends on how the players were selected by the selection committee during the auction. As mentioned, there are proven facts that franchise in which big money being spend haven't won a match yet. Everything corresponds to the performance of the players once they're selected by specific franchise.

Just think of the two players who turned the Gujarat Titans vs Kolkata Knight Riders match. Both Rinku Singh and Yash Dayal had the same base price of ₹20 lakh, and Rinku Singh got sold for ₹55 lakh whereas Yash Dayal got sold to ₹3.20 crore. The same doesn't mean one is better and the other is bad. It is all about the situation and how players manage the situation and move the match towards win.
