for the financial health of this coin it will be necessary to review

very easy to mine
and why not considered a fork Q4-2018/Q1-2019  Wink

What r u mining it with? I can only get 10Kh/s with an overclocked 16 core pc? Im making 50 coins a day max
922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [LEMON] LemonCoin - Argon2 coin done right on: February 03, 2018, 12:59:33 AM
Hello everyone,

I like argon2 (V.2I - 2d ..), and I think since 1 week to the revival of LEMONcoin
- The task will not be easy

cause:

initial offer
coin supply
delisting

positive:

base ~ clean & many possibility of evolution
neutral reputation
accessible mining (popular & old compute)
Asic Resistant & Normally Gpu Resistant & Anti Botnet
CPu friendly
support community

I noticed the absence of DEV & I propose me for the recovery
resume and continue the evolution of lemon & consolidated the current community ...

Vote Communitary : I wait your return !!
If you like .. Let's GO!!

ps: I like the challenges  Grin

I've been mining this coin steadily over the last 12 months and see no issues with it whatsoever, i'd like you to leave it alone please.
Wallet works, mineable, and has an exchange...not broken doesnt need fixing
Thanks

Yes, first drop in green line is when I prevent wrong earnings to convert to balance, managed to remove them.

Second adjustment I did just now was to fix amount which managed to transform to balance.

If you have a look at graph you had rapid grow in pending(green) and the same rapid grow after 8 hurs in balance(blue) copying pattern of growth.

So that rapid growth in balance (blue) should not be happening because of SPARK fork.... And this is what I have adjusted just now. Given that many of you recieved payments for this earlier- you will see minus at some balances.
Whoa, stop right there. We are using your pool, your software, if a fork happened that is at your expense. Please credit back my earnings...we still have to pay for our electricity whilst you had us mining rubbish.
Please re-imburse withing 24 hours.

This is your lesson to learn, not ours.

Context is important here: you are mining on a new pool being managed by a single guy who is making 0% fees. He is paying for the IT behind the pool from his own pocket and essentially offering you a free proxy to mine cooperatively. I would understand your point of view if this were an established large pool making piles of $ for it's owner, but that is just not the case. Pinpins is busting his ass to create his own custom pool for us and trying to cater to the new users as best he can. This includes adding low difficulty and new coins that are prone to "misbehaving".

In the case above, you were paid with BTC that you didn't actually earn and likely came out of his own pocket. He is using the available technology to predict, as best he can, what you will eventually get paid for mining a coin. Until those coins or exchanged BTC end up in the pool coffers it isn't real and, as we've seen over the last few weeks, there is a lot that can go wrong. Altcoins can be fickle beasts.

There are bound to be growing pains associated with new pools; if you are worried about wasted hashrates for a single day, stick to the giant established pools who will happily take 1-2% off the top of your earnings and won't be as flexible with pool structure. I prefer the small pool "feel" and ability to directly mine a coin directly or not via his custom "mc=" flag, which is rare.

I'm happily earning myself back out of the "BTC red" right now and will continue mining here because of the tireless effort Pinpins is putting in to try to make his site user-friendly (does this guy ever sleep?).

Ok "holds hands up"
Right Mr pinpins - i stand by my first statement - your problem, your loss, not ours....HOWEVER

I only came across you last night, can't remember how, can't even remember where my search started, a neoscrypt miner i think, but it was via github and SniffDog fork package, and i basically ran it, and then looked at where it was mining, and ended up at your pool.

I ran the "light" version, and next i was mining, and earning.
I basically saw it was working so left it running for many hours....i just assumed you were a long established pool

That said, now i have seen your "ann" and read a little about what you are actually trying to do, and how new the pool is, i have to give credit where it's due.
Well done! I didn't even notice it was zero fee.
So as i say i stand by my original outburst, but i also apologise for being a "bull in a china shop".
You are trying to achieve a pool, like the ones i used to mine years ago (they all disapperared) and i can only wish you great luck in doing that.
Please push forward knowing that rather than knock your pool, i will actually promote it positively to people who ask me.
Teething troubles are inevitable, so lets push forward together.
Looking forward to being able to point my mixed rig at your pool (Nvidia and AMD). Now that would be ace.

BTW Mr papacheal, Thank you for pointing out the error of my ways Smiley Glad you did.

2. Because of SPARK fork some received wrongly earned BTC - additional adjustment to balance made, leading to minus for some of you, as payments already done earlier. Don't be surprised
Were balances adjusted twice today? According to graph of my wallet, my balance decreased twice today. Is it correct?

Hi Guys,

Lost a drive with some wallets on.
Unfortunately i only have an old backup of this coin.
Wallet is v0.4.4.0-g32a928e-yac-wm, and i'm on block 612177,Fri 15. Jan 23:29:27 2016 with 1 peer "addr" : "46.4.79.187:7688", it's been stuck on this block for over 8 hours now.

So what i'd like to now if possible...
Is this this the latest "official" wallet
Does anyone have anymore peers i can use please.

Thanks

926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ARO] | Arionum | CPU Only | PHP Based | Decentralized Revolution on: February 02, 2018, 09:58:10 AM
someone created a miner using gpus, not even worth cpu mining now honestly.
it was a good month tho.

Still no evidence.

There will be little evidence, since the guys running gpu miner simply want to make coin, not release it free with a small dev fee...
I cannot "state" or "prove" one exists, but if you google back 2-3 years ago, there were several gpu miners for all versions of argon2, they were never released in the wild that was all. They were being developed to crack passwords and at the time, the scaling was only about 2x, Hi-end gpu vs Hi consumer cpu, but with the massive improvements in gpu tech, esp ram size, i'm pretty sure a gpu miner could be built to give at least 5x scaling. (if not 10x).
If it's not a gpu miner then it's one heck of a cpu farm, but what with "hiive" now being implemented on "Yahoo pages" i'm sure someone can hack together a "hidden" miner for argon2, or stealing ones workplace pc's overnight....seems nothing is safe any more. (It could be AWS, but who would spend that kind of money on a coin with no proven track record or value)

I had high hopes for this coin, but for me personally whatever is causing the large disparity in mining is irreleveant, same net result....not a coin for small miners...hopefully one day someone will manage to produce a "fairer" way to mine a coin.

Anybody tested mining with amd ryzen? How much share do you guys get with amd cpu? I plan to build new pc with amd chips and I will be glad and thanksful if someone can share the info.

Ryzen/AMD in general -- has degraded performance compared to an Intel.

hmm, usual fact less nonsense. Yes Intel maybe slightly faster overall, but you can buy complete Ryzen setup for less than Intel processor.....Aronium appears to like number of cores and size of l2/l3 cache more than clock speed.

Buy a Ryzen 7 1700 - 8 gb ram, stock heatsink, any cheap motherboard, and you'll get approx 40h/s, maybe a little higher....i'm using this but with 16GB of fast ram, so i get more like 55-60H/s

https://www.scan.co.uk/products/amd-ryzen-7-1700-unlocked-8-core-cpu-plus-asus-prime-b350-plus-atx-motherboard-bundle

Don't bother with 1700x or 1800x, the extra price and power usage is not worth it - also dont allow your 1700 to overclock, yes it looks nice on paper, but the extra hash rate is not worth the extra power it uses....my whole pc is running at 75 watts whist mining this coin. (no monitor)

All pools are unstable.
No solo mining.

Suprnova is rock rock solid

It always is Smiley

oh miners all powering down, potiny-pool is refusing connection...what is going on?

Maybe banned all crying pussies. Works fine for me.

laffs
I'm gonna earn less than 0.1 coin in 24hrs in the pool i'm in, and the top 2 guys, no.2 is going to earn 250 coins, and no.1 is going to earn 2700 coins, and thats just in this pool....
oh no, gonna earn 0.3 coins

This is what happens the hash has dropped substantially will now take ages for the diff to start to drop.

I've hit it with nearly 2Gh/s for 50 mins and got zero coin....time to leave it for  2-4 weeks, if it survives will be worth mining then...

oh miners all powering down, potiny-pool is refusing connection...what is going on?
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: A newbie question about CPU Mining on: February 01, 2018, 01:43:39 PM
how much can i mine on it? I want to understand whether it is worth starting or all that will be mined will be given to pay bills for electricity

You can't knows if you didn't try to mining that's coins. Because of every day, hour or minute's price of coins never flat. And network diff always changes, sometimes increse or decreased.

Of those things can't be predicted how much you will get.

Can you give me links to proven pools for mining that really pay? So many scam projects I found while trying to find a pool...

What algos do you wish to mine?
What hardware are you running?

You need to provide some info, or you might as well be running into the middle of the road and shouting "hey everyone, what clothes should i wear today" equally crazy Smiley
934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: A newbie question about CPU Mining on: February 01, 2018, 01:42:08 PM
Keep in mind that you're reducing the lifespan of your device when you mine with your CPU. It certainty increases power consumption.
CPU mining is not profitable. Why do it anyway?

If you only have a low end gpu and a mid-high cpu, then cpu mining can be more profitable, you just got to pick the right coins

Strange how tiny-pool were not one of the first pools to go online and yet have 95% of the whole net hash rate - i smell a rat...anyone else?

Tell me how to get a mining address without a wallet ah, so long before the wallet came out, but now you can mine, and neighborhoods. I have more than 300 gpu to dig.

So you are going to point 300 gpus at a brand new coin with zero difficulty, and you really thing that's fair and expect help from people.
If you have that many gpus available you clearly are a pro and therefore dont need assistance, all you are going to do is kill the coin at launch and raising the diff so high so quickly that no one else will have a chance.

Way to go.
J

That is the same people possibly will do with Nicehash. Nevertheless, we have implemented Dark Gravity Wave v3 as difficulty retargeting which does a fairly good job to get the difficulty down if miners leave. Smiley

This is exactly why all new coins should start as solo mine for the first few days, then it gives smaller miner their one and only change to mine these coins, it also allow the chain to gain strength making forks much less likely...but way of the world at the moment...rush out a pool second one, let massive rented miners grab loads of coin, then 2 weeks later everyone realises no one actually wants to buy the coin, and it dies....same with 95% of new coins now....but hey they all gotta pay for the 100's of overprices gpus they've just all bought...

Interested to see what happens at launch...i have my fingers crossed Smiley
