As I said Tsonga had it! It was hard to win the 2nd set thought since the game was 6 - 6 but ultimately Tsonga won the ti-breaker. Alex was able to take only 2 points.  Tsonga woned it by 7 - 2

Final score: 2 - 0 (6 - 2) (77 - 62)

Tsonga  is going to face Medvedev in the Semi now

<snip>
• When and where you encountered bitcoin.
I guess sometimes in 2011-12, I was designing a web-page and I saw bitcoin there. The site was something to do with Bitcoin
• Lowest and highest price you bought bitcoin.
Around $750 and around $10K
• Your highest loss and gain.
From 1.5BTC to 0.1BTC ish. And gain $750 to $16K
• Knowledge you get.
I think I need a whole new topic for this hehe
• Wallet and exchange you're using.
Electrum as wallet. Most of the reputed exchanges
• 10 altcoin/token you have besides bitcoin.
Oh a lot! ADA, TRX, DBC, ETH, ETN, WABI, THET, BCH and many more I can't even remember.

By the way, Happy 10th anniversary although I am late to the party.
9263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH is pumping! on: January 04, 2019, 12:24:23 PM
i think there will be dump again. minimum 1 more. i bought it for 95$ and sell it yesterday. will see if i am right. or unluck)
If you are talking about ETH/USD then I have no idea how the price works but when we are talking about ETH/BTC then I see ETH has good potential.

People who understand what ETH is capable of have long been able to buy at the lowest prices. These are the lightweight X2 that could be done today, especially if we take into account what the big hard forks are waiting for us

Count me one of them hehe.

Remember in 2017 when ETH price was down to 0.028BTC then it went over 0.1BTC? I missed that ride. I actually bought ETH around at 0.086BTC then I saw the price to drop down to 0.028BTC. It was hard time for me.
9264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: January 04, 2019, 12:14:50 PM
My opinion is that it's too early to pick a team. Hard to have the outright. I had a quick look in bet365 and according to them Oz has the most chances although I don't think they will be correct.

I guess there are good chances for India and England.
9265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: January 04, 2019, 12:10:32 PM
Its actually a test for Tsonga f you ask me , don't take me wrong Tsonga has had a brilliant career but right now at this point I guess its more difficult to Tsonga than Alex . I guess Alex will win this one .
Tsonga hasn't finished yet. 1st set is his and now he is service for his 4th game in the 2nd set if he wins the game then score will be 4 - 4

I do agree that Tsonga had a good career specially around 2010 to 2014 he had his golder time I guess. Let's see if he is going to win this or not. My bet is for Tsonga.

Basilashvili  immediately broke Djokovic's service after he lost his own service however the resistance from Basilashvili did not last long. Eventually the set finished at 6 - 4 and  Djokovic won the match.

Berdych had an easy win against Herbert. Berdych will find his opponent for semi-final from the winner of Lajovic vs Cecchinato. I am hoping to see the final between Djokovic and Berdych. Let's see how my prediction works hehe
9268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: January 03, 2019, 04:09:27 PM
Djokovic is usually able to provide a constant level of tennis.

He rarely plays good and bad only a few days apart.
The score is now

Djokovic vs Basilashvili 1 - 1 (4-6) (6-3)

Good comeback by Djokovic which usually he does. This set will be vital for both. May be First game for Djokovic? Although Basilashvili  served the game.

Edit:
And Djokovic broke the serve! Goodluck Djokovic hehe
9269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Share your favourite gambling site and story behind it on: January 03, 2019, 01:32:14 PM
I can't give you a name however I tried Sportsbet, 777coin, bet365, coral, ladbrokes. I can not forget the time with Paddy Power. I used to spend a lot with them.

With bet365 and Paddy Power my relationship is the longest. Lately I moved to Bet365. I guess they have the largest betting markets than anyone else.
9270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Versus Traditional Gambling on: January 03, 2019, 01:19:50 PM
Online gambling is more addictive and risky. You have your bank connected and if you can not control your emotion then you are basically putting money again and again.

In traditional gambling you go out with a certain amount of money once you are out then you leave the shop. Risk is lesser.

in that place, there are many people yell and make a noise in the game and they are drunk too much. This is why I prefer online gambling because I don't have to hear that sound and I can play in my room while I can listen to my favorite music too. But maybe that is not happening in many traditional gambling places, but this is what I heard so far.
Well it's fun to watch them hehe

Yes online gambling are more cheaper since we  mainly use cryptos .  unit of cryptos are more smaller when compared to fiats or any other payment methods out there . we dont also pay tax if we play online using cryptos and that is theel reason why we can earn more profit than in traditional gambling  .
What do you mean cheaper? I guess in the betting shop or casinos you take cash which does not cost you any fee LOL

In the UK as far as I know there are no tax for earning from gambling. Not sure about the other countries.
9271  Other / Off-topic / Re: Please how can i convert gift card to Paypal on: January 03, 2019, 10:55:49 AM
I would suggest to use paxful. I have seen they have every possible peer although you have to be lucky if you do not have a decent reputation. As far as I know they are trusted enough.

You can try here in this forum too.

Alternatively, you can do a quick google search. Make sure you do you own due diligence before trading in any site which is unknown to you.
9272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is growing at nonstop rates in my country on: January 02, 2019, 03:32:52 PM
That's why this sort of consortium of gambling company are willing to open to 3rd world countries to operate and the government are willing to cooperate because of the the tax or even to attract tourist.
Talking about tourist, Las Vegas is the perfect example.

I don't know if you have heard about Macau in Asia or 3 big casinos in the Philippines.
No I haven't but I just had a quick search and can realise now a bit. These are some search results

9273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is a bitcoin shopping cart realistic? on: January 02, 2019, 03:27:25 PM
It's a similar service yes. OP wants to accept Bitcoin payments though and CoinPayments is mostly targeted for those who want most of the alts.
I did not have this in mind.

no idea about electrum, but Coinbase and Bitpay services are trustworthy already.
Electrum is a wallet software not a payment processor. A payment processor is a third party who act as a middleman and receive your transactions. Think about Paypal although it's a fiat based payment processor.

Thanks for the replies. Does coinpayments or bitpay do chargebacks or is that not possible?
Not sure if they have but since they are handling your bitcoin, they may look after the customer satisfaction. They may freeze the account if they see any suspicious activities.

Quote
I freelance write and customers have a nasty habit of having me write for them then generating a chargeback so i worked for nothing.  Another reason I kind of liked the bitcoin idea.
Why don't you give them your own wallet address instead of any of the above or any exchange. Those payment processors and exchanges do charge a lot for every transaction even when you want to withdraw the money too.
9274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Triggers Gambling Addiction on: January 02, 2019, 03:12:26 PM
From my personal experience, I feel more addicted to gambling when I keep losing my bets. The combination of losing your money and you want to get them back, along with the chance of making a profit and grow your fund make you addicted to Gambling.
That's chasing and this is very dangerous. You always keep thinking that you gonna win the next bet and that will recover your lose but in reality it happens very rare.

Quote
Expectations trigger Addiction. And also no one can deny the fact that people feel entertained when they gamble.

When you keep losing then it becomes stress. It's no more entertainment.
9275  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poker studying (Hand reviews) on: January 02, 2019, 02:23:08 PM
In the end you just giving others youtube channel to be viewed, so what are we really studying at the first place? We need something more reliable that you can give us here, if there is only some youtube watching to become pro players, then everyone will be no need for this topic and no discussion, so what ia the point then?
Give the guy a chance. I read his posts and seems he is trying something. Reading his posts gives me the feeling that he knows his tea.

I would suggest OP, instead of just answering question and giving tips here and there why not you create something step by step. This will encourage people to start from some points.

I am taking about creating some courses may be.

9278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Triggers Gambling Addiction on: January 02, 2019, 04:45:58 AM
Winning even once triggers addiction because people are greedy in nature. There are just people who can control themselves and there are not.
I was a chain smoker when I used to live alone. All day I used to work on my laptop and used to smoke one after another rollies. I did not have much social life.

People need entertainment. They need something to keep themselves busy. When they don't have enough then they find something and smoking, gambling are few of these bad habits.

Think about this:
- You don't need to talk to anyone when you smoke
- You don't need to talk to anyone when you are gambling

You are on your own.

So, my conclusion is that winning is not just the cause, people needs to socialise, people get into gambling because they don't have anything else to entertain them.
