942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the price of bitcoin so high on: July 02, 2018, 01:50:58 PM
Hello,

Im new in crypto and have a question (a stupid one).. I never really gave it much though and now i wonder.

Is price of bitcoin so high (compared to altcoins) because it is so much superior or is it just because it is THE coin - the original one.

Cheers Smiley
It is because of the demand in the market that keep rising. There are now many people who knows the importance of the bitcoin. They know what bitcoin can do to their lives. They keep buying bitcoin because of its function in our economy and society.
943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SCAM! on: July 02, 2018, 11:57:22 AM
I was invited by a friend of a friend to invest in Bitcoin last year. He told me that if I invest 5000 in our currency it will be doubled in a month's time. He also promised me that I will get referral fees and override from every person I introduced to Bitcoin and that prices of Bitcoin are expected to increase. To make the story short I did not join because I believe its a pyramiding scam. Truth to be told I did my research on Bitcoin after that and it turn's out that Bitcoin's price was really on rise unfortunately I did not invest at that time. Currently I'm learning more thru this forum and I thank my friend for inviting me here. Just last December I heard from one of my friends that the company they joined was in fact a pyramiding scam and the money they invested in just vanished out of thin air together with the people who invited them. We should be wary of people offering investments and opportunities to us. Do your research. Opportunity comes with risks as well as the rewards. If its too good to be true, it might be a scam. Bitcoin is not a SCAM but there are people who uses Bitcoin to SCAM other people. Good luck to us and more power to Bitcoin!
Do not just invest to bitcoins because of the rumors that you are hearing. You should only make investment with bitcoin if you fully understand how bitcoin works and what its purpose in our society and economy.
944  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin go under regulation on: July 01, 2018, 02:50:50 PM
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are a significant threat to our financial system right now. It will affect the finance sector especially the banks because they could lose a large percentage of their client because of cryptocurrency. That is why the government are discussing and will do everything to protect their advantage. So they tend to create regulations. They cannot control the technology, but they can control the people using it.
There are many regulations implemented by the government in my country. All of the regulations have the purpose to protect all of the citizens using virtual currency. Regulations are part for the cryptocurrency to accept by all types of society.
945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will get legitimacy in all countries? on: July 01, 2018, 02:19:41 PM
Many countries think that Bitcoin is harmful for their country. They think that Bitcoin will create inflation in their country. But is that right? Will Bitcoin never get all the legitimacy?
It depends on the government who control the country. There are still government who are not interested to legalize bitcoin in their country but there are now many countries who accept bitcoin as currency.
946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Time to Sell Altcoins on: July 01, 2018, 11:43:41 AM
Hy guys. Most of the time I use to trade with altcoins and I use to sell altcoins when they are above ICO price and giving some profit. I do not hold atlcoins for long time. What if you have some altcoins, what will be your strategy to use that coins? Is there any specific best time for every altcoin and when it is going well and we should sell ??
The altcoins are still gaining power and popularity, I can say that the price of all altcoins are still cheap. The best thing that we can do is to hold all of our promising and profitable altcoins for us to have a good future.
947  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how much usd need for trade ?? on: June 30, 2018, 12:15:39 PM
Hey i am new here and want to be expert on trading so how can start and how much money for this?please give me some site or link where find trading tips and get more knowledge about it
If you invested small amount of money, do not expect that you will easily earn big amount of money. Try to do plan first before you make investment in cryptocurrency trading.
948  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to become a trader? on: June 30, 2018, 07:47:51 AM
Trading is very risky job because of the volatility of the cryptocurrencies. You can easily lose your money if your knowledge is not enough. I prefer to you to just read and read different posts in this forum for you to enhance your technical analysis skill and for you to know how to control your emotions.
949  Economy / Economics / Re: How will crypto go long term? on: June 27, 2018, 10:21:15 PM
I am fairly new to the crypto world. During my short time, I have contemplated how crypto will go down over the next few years.

Slowly, over time more regulations will be adopted worldwide. This is not because regulators are scared that people are getting scammed, but because they will start limiting this world from us small fish so the banks and "qualified" investors can tke over. All the large banks will then push their own crypto, and we will be left with nothing.

In my opinion, it is in our best interest to gain enough profit so we will have the funds to become qualified investors, and be able to re-enter the markets through the banks exchanges.

What does everyone else think? Do you think the big fish will continue allowing us to do trading long term, or are our days numbered?
Correct! It is true that the cryptocurrencies are now adapting by many people in our society. Most of the governments have now plan to accept and legalize cryptocurrency. I know that many people and businesses will use and adapt cryptocurrency.
950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe in ICO Ratings? on: June 26, 2018, 01:25:06 PM
I see many Websites that provide ratings for ongoing ICOs or for the future. Examples such as the ICObench.com Website, ICOrating.com and others.

Which is my question whether you believe in the rating provided by the website. Seeing many ICO's do not match what they value. Many ICOs are arguably good ratings but when the token sales of the project only reach softcap. And there are projects that I see have a fairly mediocre rating but their token sales reach hardcap. I took the example of Lalaworld on ICObench.com they get Rating 3.7 but their token is sold out.

So let's discuss ICO Rating!
No! Most of the ICO rating are giving fake information, they are not giving reliable information. If we will make investment with ICOs it is better if will read first their whitepaper for us to easily find out if the project is reliable or not.
951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Positive News about Bitcoin on: June 25, 2018, 03:26:28 PM

952  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why are people afraid to invest in cryptocurrency? on: June 25, 2018, 02:56:02 PM
Some times I usually think of the reason people are afraid of investing in cryptocurrency, despite the its value and durability, cryptocurrency is a standards investment that will always give the investor the chance of becoming a millionaire due to its appreciative nature, people fail to understand the fact behind cryptocurrency investment, most times the people trying to invest may not have a maximum knowledge of cryptocurrency.
They are afraid to make investment with cryptocurrency because they do not want to face the risks. They are afraid that they may lose their money. It is true that cryptocurrency investment is risky investment so it is really better if you have high self confidence if you will make cryptocurrency investment.

954  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Best Time To Exit Trading on: June 25, 2018, 02:15:52 AM
People nowadays are stuck in the world of trading that may cause their loss of capital, may cause their eagerness to recover their investment. Ending up sinking the money they have invested. AND Doesn't know how to exit in the game.

Also, FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) is a normal feeling of traders when coins are actually dumped big time.

Here's how. We all know that media plays a big role in the dump value of some coins.

Accdg. To this site

  (contains also tips on trading)

BUY THE RUMOURS. SELL THE NEWS (not literally)
When media talks often about the dump and publish articles, then that is the RIGHT TIME TO EXIT.
News, rumours, speculations could have a big impact and can affect the price of altcoins. They concide the price movements resulting in pump and dump.

Believe me, I did that and it really works. Prevents deficits and prevents loss of investment.

You must exit trading if you reached the peak, do not expect high more because it is risky decision. It is really good if you know when is best time to exit for you to avoid losses.
955  Economy / Economics / Re: Beside Cryptocurrenices where would you invest? on: June 25, 2018, 01:33:02 AM
A lot of people now days jumping and investing in the cryptocurrency industry.
If you are not investing in crypto, where do you else invest?
Property ? normal crowdfunding? give your input
Stocks are also one of the best investment that you can do besides cryptocurrency. Most of the billionaires and millionaires are stock holders. There are many opportunities that you can get by having stocks.
956  Economy / Speculation / Re: Perfect Time to Buy! on: June 23, 2018, 11:21:47 AM
With all the good news coming out in favor of bitcoin like Expedia accepting bitcoin etc it's time to buy with the price going down. You will not be so lucky next week. I strongly believe it's going to reach $700 by end of next week!
It is really good if you will now make investment with bitcoins, use this opportunity for you to acquire bitcoins. The bitcoin is still gaining more power and support and I can say that the bitcoin will become more valuable.
957  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the price of bitcoin rapidly going down on: June 23, 2018, 10:17:40 AM
The news in term of development are actually decent, with LN getting closer to a release, so I think this is just temporary. Smiley
If we will analyze and observe the chart of the bitcoin, we can say that the price is continuing to decline! I think the reason why it is continuing to go down is because of the whales. They keep manipulating the cryptocurrency market.
958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tactics When Market is Falling on: June 22, 2018, 03:06:54 PM
Hi all,
I am a relative newbie but have remained pretty calm during the difficult last week or so. The markets are falling significantly again, is this still relatively normal and is the best advice just to HODL? Moving forward I think I will set stop losses on all holdings to protect my capital against falls like this.
Thanks
If you have balls then it is better if you will hold your coins. Most of the successful traders have the characteristics of strong hand trader. We should have self confidence for us to not worry even the cryptocurrency market is falling.
959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What encourages you to invest in any altcoin? on: June 22, 2018, 02:11:23 PM
I am a crypto enthusiastic and i know a 90% of people here on bitcointalk are as well.
There are a lot of altcoins in the market today. What should one look out for before investing in any altcoin
I keep making investment with some altcoins because of its potential, there are really altcoins that are promising and profitable. I can easily grow my investment if I will make investment with the altcoins that have potential.
960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I continue to invest? on: June 21, 2018, 03:52:11 AM
I had invested one ICO previously, it failed although I didn't contribute a huge amount on it. A news yesterday made analysis on blockchain ICO projects, mentioning 92% of these ICO projects are failed.. Should I stop investing the others or any really potential ICO suggest?
If you want to become successful then continue to make investment with cryptocurrency. ICOs are one of the best investment that you can do. ICOs are very profitable but it is extremely risky investment.
