... The worst possible citizenship to have now is USA, because the USA has the strongest government, military, and a large tax base to expropriate. If you have this citizenship, try to get out of it while you still can. ... Yup, it's getting harder and harder to get exit visas tho. I watch the ragtag flocks of middle management trying to flee US, and my heart breaks. Any way they can, anywhere. Across the Rio Grande and into the Mexican promised land--in yachts, decrepit private jets, second-hand asshole Ferraris and aging Bugatti Veyrons... Only to be turned away by ever-watchful Mexican border patrol

^ You Canucks 'r alright--almost good as us decent American white folk, far's I'm concerned. Some of you Quebec boys make good strong hokey players, just 's long as you know your place.
A feller I came up with, pure full-blooded American, married one of your French Canadian girls, you imagine? Now myself, I don't even treat him no worse for it. No sir, don't make no nevermind to me who he mix with.
Merry Kwanzaa, Havelock!

Happy Kwanzaa*! From your good friends at Havelock
There's NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT!
*Unlike the eponymous African holiday, Panamanian Kwanzaa celebrations begin on the second Monday of February, and continue until all your money runs out.

... Moral of the story to not do business with a Hong Kong registred Bitcoin enterprice. In the past several Hong Kong exchanges have run away with costomer funds (GBL, 796, mycoin, ANX.....), basicaly anyone dealing with a hong kong registered exchange deserves to get goxed
You're right, I feel much safer trading on exchanges like BTC-e, registered in Bulgaria not registered anywhere. Not knowing the names of the principals also placates some of my concerns, because anonymity is paramount! BTC-e is european union registred (cyprus) I also heard Russia (their Russian is fluent), Ukraine & just about everywhere else. Do you happen to know names of the players involved? You know, like founder, CEO, CTO? The owners are russian citizen, (not nationals) the exchange is registred in Cyprus and England and the servers sit in Bulgaria. Yes the names are known. >the exchange is registred in Cyprus and England Anything other than their word backing this claim? >Yes the names are known Err... So what are the names? When u sign up you can see for yourself, read the terms and conditions (Jurisdiction) https://btc-e.com/page/1I realize that they claim Cypriot jurisdiction. I, myself, claim Somali jurisdiction. As a legal entity, I'm registered in Eqestria & Slovakia. If you have any legal beef with me, you'll have to bring it before Somali courts tho. Since you don't know my name or location, good luck with that So my questions stand, and I'll repeat them for your convenience: 1. Is there any proof of registration? What is it? 2. What are the names of the principals? ty

... It's a Ponzi involving some kind of mining contract. The scammer said they would pay 0.64BTC of interest per day for every 90BTC investment.
By the way, they claim 3 billion HKD, not CNY. But this 3 billion HKD is pulled out of their ass. Only 30 victims seek help and they claims loss of 1 million HKD on average. The legislative councillor speculates that there are 3000 victims and ALL OF THEM lost 1 million HKD. That's how the 3 billion HKD calculated.
TL;DR: Bitcoin scam not as successful as the article suggests. Bullish!

It says win, not give in the URL, so I assume it's a competition.
ok but the associated spiel is quite good: What would you do with a bitcoin? Spend it on apps or games? A flight or a night at the theatre? How about a splurge on coffee beans, hand-made rugs and pizza? The list of what you can buy with bitcoins is growing. Maybe you'll just squirrel it away and watch how the rollercoaster unfolds. A bitcoin is worth about $230 at the time of writing, but its value is volatile: pedictions for what one bitcoin will be worth in three years' time range from tens of thousands of dollars to nothing at all. New Scientist is giving away one bitcoin – so what will you do with it? Lol, how is it they forgot to mention "gamble it away on dice sites, score some shit crank & stock up on child pr0nz." FAIK, the only use case scenarios where BTC trumps real money
