Schalke team managed to stop dortmund winning streak by forcing them into a draw today, dortmund team was better in general but the will of schalke players not to lose and avoid relegation is what made them comeback twice after being behind in the score, it was a good result for schalke but a bad one for dortmund because bayern team managed to get two points ahead of them after winning today against augsburg.
I have trusted Dortmund to maintain their winning streak. They always fumble and disappoint when it matters the most. How are they dropping points against Schalke when they're on the same point with Bayern Munich. They just are not on the level of competing with Bayern. It's as if they're not even ready to fight Bayern Munich for the league title. As far as the Bundesliga is concerned, Dortmund is the only team that can challenge for the league with Bayern, but even them can't compete. Bayern now tops the league with 2 points and I don't think anything will bring them down, if at all, they will keep increasing the gap at the top and Dortmund will keep dropping points. I know Dortmund will have problems of winning their upcoming games that will make them unable to have the same points with Bayern Munich. Dortmund playing draws against Schalke is opportunity for Bayern Munich to now have some gap. Dortmund missed this great opportunity to share same point with Bayern Munich. Same things happen every year and every year Bayern Munich in this period makes a big difference. This is the part of the season where they make a big advantage with what Dortmund just cannot keep up . They lose a last place team and this is why they dont win the league. |

Gasperini couldn't make any decent moves to turn the match. He took Lookman into the game at the last minute. Napoli is running for the championship with this result. There is no team in Italy that can stop this team.
One thing is certain. Napoli continues to dominate this season. They are so good that the other teams are just way out of their league. So funny that Liverpool couldn't get even a draw from Bounemouth after thrashing Manchester united severely. This keeps me poundering on what would been the cause of the result of the MU vs LP match. Even with a dominance in ball possession and attempts Today, Liverpool still could not see the back of the net. Indeed football is an embodiment of complications.
This is what often happens when they face relatively smaller teams. It's really quite difficult to understand Liverpool's situation even though their condition has been very good in the last few matches they have run but looking at the results in this match it is very unpredictable. Even though we know that when they face Manchester United, they (Manchester United) carry out an offensive strategy which is a good thing for them to counterattack but it's different in this match where Bournemouth with full defense is certainly very difficult for them to destroy. What's wrong with Liverpool? I really really don't believe it. The big win over Manchester United last week apparently did not make the Reds really rise. The big ambition to finish in the top four positions turned out to be just words but not accompanied by a fighting spirit to achieve that target. I am very disappointed to see Liverpool's inconsistent performance. I suspect that the Reds dressing room is not conducive even though the issue has not been raised in public. The gap with Arsenal is still five points for Manchester City now. From now on every game is very important for the league title.
Therefore I think Manchester City will stay strong against Crystal Palace away tomorrow. They should be able to win this game nicely as long as they play their usual game. Arsenal have an away game against Fulham which is tougher than Manchester City's situation. Therefore Manchester City had better win one way or another with the hope of Arsenal to lose points. But honestly I don't expect any of them to lose points this week.
Crystal Palace always plays good against stronger teams so City will have a hard match. I think Arsenal has a slightly harder match but due to Fulhams bad form i think they will take advantage of that and probobly win. But still both teams have an away match and it will be hard to win. |

Somewhere we could expect Union Berlin to fall back, they have never been able to compete for the title, even though they once had a 4-point gap with Bayern Munich in their favor. But before the start of the season they would of course still be very happy with the current ranking, but in Europe they are also still active and they have a good chance to go through to the next round. I don't know where they will finish this competition, they have a nice team but individually they have few players who can decide a game. Players who have Bayern Munich and Dortmund, for example.

Normally Schalke are not even close to Dortmund's level. No matter it is a derby game Dortmund are still outweighing them too much.
I expect to see this in Dortmund's performance in this game also. Schalke are just a team that are very likely to relegate from the Bundesliga. Maybe they made a big effort in the 2nd Bundesliga before reaching here again. But they are still one of the weakest teams among all Bundesliga teams. There hasn't been much improvement in their performance since they were relegated. Dortmund were eliminated by Chelsea in the Champions League new maybe but I don't think this would affect their performance here.
I just expect a clear win by Dortmund.
Its always hard to play against the last team on the league table but Schalke are in form with last two wins and this will probobly cause problems for Dortmund. Spezia Calcio - FC Inter Milanothis seems to be an easy game for inter on paper but in practice I don't see it being an easy game for inter that's because in the last 5 games inter despite having won most of the games and only lost to bologna or inter doesn't inspire confidence in me mainly because you'll be playing against a team that in the last 2 games has shown that they are recovering from their bad performance, despite Spezia not being able to win in their last game they managed to get 2 draws in two games in which they dominated , in their last game they didn't concede a goal even playing with 10 players, of course verona is a disaster, but even so it's a great success for Spezia to have achieved a draw in the game against verona even playing with 10 players inter in this game will need to make a lot of effort or risk leaving this game with a draw and knowing that napoli lost in their last game and with that a victory for inter here could reduce the distance of points, because napoli will play against atalanta and even if atalanta is not a strong team they can still make napoli lose points, that's why it's very important that inter can win in this game I wouldn't put a lot of money into this game. in my case I will not put money in this game because I consider low odds for the risk of the game Spezia is really bad lately and they cannot win a single match. Inter is much better on paper but they will need to break Spezia fast. Spezia will park the bus like always but if the concede one goal it might be over for them really fast. All favorites should win their matches easily. Medvedev and Rublev might have small troubles but i think this should be a parlay with all 4 favorites to win. Schwartzman to me is out of form plus playing on hard court and i think he dosent stand a chance against Ruud. |

The victory won by Juventus from Freiburg made Allegri smile, the winning bring Juventus to the next round. few weeks ago Allegri said winning the UEL title is the ticket for UCL spot next season. This is a pretty hard target for Allegri, because at UEL they are not the only top team. Sevilla, is a club that has won UEL several times in the last decade, Arsenal, Real Betis, Leverkusen, MU & Roma can still thwart Juventus. So I think Allegri should focus on improving the Serie-A standings rather than targeting to be UEL champions.
To win the europe league is harder and harder each year. Especially now and Juventus still havent passed Freiburg and still have an away match against them. Here are the results of the first leg recap of the last 16 of the Europa League which took place last night. A total of 5 teams won at home and the other 3 only got a draw. Manchester United are back on their feet, Roma are able to prove their consistency, Leverkusen are unstoppable, Sevilla are getting more confident, and Juventus are still convinced that this is the only title they can win this season. The surprising result for me is that Union Berlin wasnt able to win at home,was sure that it was an easy win for them. Also Roma with an easy win that i didnt expect. Man Utd after that big loss came back fast and destroyed Betis and probobly are into the next round after the first leg already. |

Winning trophies with Spurs have been a big dream for Tottenham and Harry Kane has spent many years with Spurs with high hopes of winning trophies. I think Harry Kane should consider Manchester United’s offer if he wants to win trophies because Tottenham are still not in a place to say they can win trophies not even in the next season.
Harry Kane is turning 30 this summer so i think if he wants to make a move to leave Tottenham, then it has to be after this season. Now that it is clear, that he will be without a title yet again with Tottenham i think it is very likely, that he is trying to go to another club now, where his chances of winning a big title are higher. I am not sure but i also think that Kane possibly does not want to go to another club within the English Premier League, because Tottenham will always be his club and he does not want to play for a direct competitor of the spurs. Maybe Bayern Munich is really trying to get Harry Kane in this summer. It could be a good move for every party involved, if Kane is not to expensive. Harry Kane is actually not happy about his trophilessness in Tottenham. I read a post made by him on the social media. He said that at the stage of Tottenham, the goal of the club is not to qualify for champions league but rather to be able to win trophies. It was after I read this post by Harry that I understood that he is not happy with the state of totenham and may decide to leave any moment Well Kane isnt happy for years already he was close to leaving the club a few times already. I have a multi with two early games on it as well. Wouldn't even mention it here if you did not brought the question since games already started. I prefer to put them in advance os somebody can use my tips. I have Struff ML @1.7 and Kokkinakis 2:0 @1.7, both players in great form and I expected easy wins from them. Looking good at the moment even though Struff lost first set 6:1, have no idea what happened there  Struff with a nice comeback and a win with some good odds on him. Both players serve good but Struff pulled it through. Kokkinakis won the first set and looks like he will win easy the second one. So nice two easy wins it Kokkinakis dosent do something stupid. |

We can say that there were more exciting matches than in the Europa League, at least in most of the matches we saw goals in the first half. Fiorentina are trying to find goals with a dominant football at home but they couldn't make use of the positions they found in the first half.If Sivasspor get a draw here, they will have a big advantage for themselves to pass the round.
Lech Poznan and Basel are already the favorites against their opponents so I'm not surprised that they were ahead at half time.
In the Gent-Basaksehir game, of course the hosts were the more dominant side, but the first goal was scored by the team from Basaksehir, who will want to increase the pressure and score in the second half.
A lot more goals so far in the second part of games in the confrence league. But the most goals we were expecting is on the Fiorentina match that is still goalless somehow. Fiorentina has an easy match but just cannot score and if Sivasspor draws here it will be a big result for them. |

Rashford has just scored a brilliant goal on the 5th minutes of the first half. I can see Manchester united dominating the field and having confidence in the game. Real Betis might equalise this goal in the first half but I think Manchester united is having good opportunities that they are suppose to take advantage of.
I just hope that they can score more goals in this first half. The game is still open to both teams to win,it is just that Manchester have more advantage in winning the match if they can maintain this goal and avoid to concieve any goal.

Bayern Munich beat PSG 2-0 at home to advance. They also beat them 1-0 away. That's a 3-0 win in total. Frankly, if psg can't achieve success despite this squad, they should question themselves in the champions league. Despite spending so much money, they built a high level squad but in vain. It is sad for them and their management. The fans must be disappointed too.
Milan were the other team to advance. They already had the power to eliminate Tottenham. I'm happy for them.
This defeat proves that having a star player at a club does not necessarily change fate and circumstances. I think PSG should be able to improve the depth of their squad and be able to optimize players who are mediocre but can contribute optimally to the club. If they stick to the ideology of keeping star players I think they will repeat the same mistake. If we look at PSG's statistics in the last 16 of the UCL since the 2012/2013 season they have been eliminated 5 times and until now PSG have never won the UCL title. Every season is the same for PSG ,they do well in the group stage and once they step into the knockout faze they get knocked out fast and easy. Too many superstars in team especially in attack and that means less running so easier to concede a goal. PSG needs a new approach. |

Today will start with UEFA Europe League match, I am waiting with Sporting Lisbon vs Arsenal and want to watch how consistency performance from The Gunner after success managed first standing position in domestic league. Arsenal has opportunity with double trophies this season between domestic league after leading first standing position awhile and waiting how top performance Arsenal in Europe League. It's very long to wait for another match for arsenal to happen. I can't be patient with how good arsenal to play against sporting lisbon. Europa league is a way for arsenal to get another trophy but sporting lisbon can't be underrated. Arsenal needs to remember that if sporting lisbon was also playing so well in the previous match. Arsenal must have anticipated the bad result against sporting lisbon in the first leg. We saw how good arsenal played in the domestic competition but i think that if it can't be a good measurement to know whether arsenal will play good or bad against lisbon. I think against Sporting Lisbon have chance for the gunner winning above two goals and get good capital for the first leg before second leg will begin up coming next week and Arsenal have home match.
Arsenal has ever met sporting lisbon in 2018 and at that time arsenal was winning against sporting lisbon in europa league with 1 win and 1 draw. that makes arsenal able to pass the next round. Son, konte and kane must be leaving from totenham. Another bad result for totenham. Glad to see that if milan's attacking line was not so good in executing some chances. Milan might able to make two or more goals if there are decent strikers who would able to do proper executions to the some golden chances against totenham. Totenham deserves nothing for this season. Getting a spot in the UCL just like getting a trophy for totenham. I don't even know why kane didn't wanna leave from the club that has no future like totenham. UCL has proven if totenham was not a strong team but it's a team that only rely with the luck. Go go go ac milan. You did it. Go back home totenham.  Another year another season same Tottenham.
