What kind of verification were you asked to do though? I experienced the same thing yesterday[1] and although I didn't complete the verification,  it looks like you just need to give some personal info (without submitting your ID or selfie).

944  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Suggest Online Shopping Sites That Accept Bitcoin Payments And Ships Everywhere. on: March 23, 2023, 08:37:21 AM
If you verified the Binance account then their Crypto Card might work but it looks like they do not support Nigeria because I can't find it in their supported countries?

How about Paywithmoon they said they support AliExpress.

Quote
Moon currently supports shopping on a limited number of sites, but soon you’ll be able to shop on any of your favorite e-commerce websites, like eBay, Ali Express and Target.

Or your last hope is to buy gift card as suggested above.

Paywithmoon is no longer issuing new cards and is currently looking for a new partner[1].

AliExpress has no gift cards either. I would've suggested buying from eBay but apparently, their cards are region locked and require you to link a U.S PayPal account[2] as well.

@OP I would recommend doing the following:

- Maybe you can try to use Shopping.io (they support AliExpress). Make sure to do your own research first.
- AliExpress has been accepting WebMoney for a long time, until recently. Try to reach out to sellers and see if they still accept it and then exchange your BTC for it if they do[3]

945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Sun sued by SEC. Effect on Bitcoin? on: March 23, 2023, 08:20:06 AM
I don't see how would this affect bitcoin but my suggestion to everyone is to stay away from these projects until things settle down:

- TRX and BTT (you can already see how the price was affected once the news came out).
- Huobi and Poloniex (I believe he founded the first platform, and he's an investor in the second).

I'm renting my signature space (and my avatar as well). PM me your offers if you're interested.

I'm not wearing any signatures for mixers or gambling services.

In addition to being part of ChipMixer's signature campaign for many years, you can check my stats from BPIP.org: https://bpip.org/Profile?p=OmegaStarScream
947  Other / Archival / Re: Current list of exchanges without KYC on: March 22, 2023, 05:49:03 PM
I don't quite understand where this information comes from. I checked my unverified Lv.1 account, so there the limits, on the contrary, were increased almost 2 times, to 17.6 BTC:

It looks like filling in personal info is now required. Because it was showing me ~3.6 BTC yesterday (100K USD). Now I logged in, to check the withdrawal page and take you a screenshot... and it's forcing me to pass level 1 account verification (country, full and ID number) to increase my limits to 500k USD (which is ~17.6BTC with the current rate) and to let me withdraw my funds:

948  Other / Archival / Re: Current list of exchanges without KYC on: March 22, 2023, 04:41:11 PM
FOR OKX:

- Withdrawal limits: 10BTC -> about ~100K USD.
- Withdrawal fees: they're the same for LN, but higher for on-chain. 0.0002BTC -> 0.00036BTC. I'm not sure if they've only increased them due to the current state of the mempool[1] or if it's going to stay this way so it's probably better to wait a few days to see before you update the topic.

950  Economy / Exchanges / Re: To OKX Canadian users on: March 21, 2023, 10:28:19 AM
I saw the article yesterday and then when I logged in to my account, I noticed that the withdrawal limits have changed for non-verified users as well. I'm not sure when they changed this, but it went from 10 BTC to ~3.6 BTC (the equivalent of 100k USD per day) which is still plenty but with the news you mentioned, it makes me think that they're going the same route as Binance and will eventually make KYC mandatory for everyone.

-snip-

Code:
https://blockworks.co/news/microsoft-edge-testing-built-in-ethereum-crypto-wallet-screenshots-show
https://blockworks.co/news/microsoft-edge-testing-crypto-wallet

952  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Deposit adress notification on: March 21, 2023, 09:29:46 AM
I already gave you a few sites in your previous post, have you looked into them? If not, you should. They have notifications API[1][2]. The site you mentioned should do the trick too, but not with the free tier because it looks like it's only available with the testnet.

For bitcoin, yes blockchain.com API is fine:

This method monitors an address of your choice for received and / or spent payments. You will be sent an HTTP notification immediately when a transaction is made, and subsequently when it reaches the number of confirmations specified in the request.

Also, please try to not make multiple posts about the same subject.

953  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: can't access electrum wallet on: March 20, 2023, 01:30:08 PM
I updated to the newest version. The circle is green.

In this case, are you sure that the address you're checking on blockchain.com belongs to the wallet you're currently using? See the "addresses" tab or run the following command in the console:

Code:
ismine('address_here')

The command must return true.
954  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: can't access electrum wallet on: March 20, 2023, 01:07:29 PM
Which version are you using? also, is the circled button red or green? If it's red, then it means your wallet is not connected to electrum servers, so it's normal that you can't see the funds.
955  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kucoin Community Chain KCC on: March 20, 2023, 11:27:10 AM
Going back to the KCC network, are you saying it isn't possible to transfer Bitcoin??  KuCoin exchange is suggesting it as an option when I go to transfer Bitcoin out but I don't have a compatible wallet yet to enter an address (so I don't know what it will start with)

On KuCoin it lists a number of KCC compatible wallets when you select this method of transfer ... Trust Wallet is one of them.

I checked Trustwallet and I can't see any WBTC on Kucoin's chain. But according to this[1] you should be able to send and receive KCC tokens so maybe the token and funds will show without having to manually add them. It's better to try and send a small amount to make sure that everything is working properly.

Now, I get that you want to use this to save some fees, but as mentioned above, you should understand that WBTC and BTC are not the same thing and there are certain risks that come with using BTC on other networks[2].

To add to the above, this[1] should help you choose the coin to withdraw from Kucoin to OKX.

Also, If you're going to spend your BTC on gift cards, or to buy things online, then maybe you should withdraw them with the lightning network (for 0$ fees) since most BTC payment processors accept it.

958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 2013 wallet. Only wallet.aes.json file on: March 19, 2023, 07:22:53 PM
Recovery tool can find the password?

Do you mean the tool I linked you to? If so, then no. That's not going to help you with that. It's only so you can decrypt your wallet.aes.json:

But if you forgot the password, then this might help you: https://btcrecover.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Usage_Examples/2020-05-08_Recovering_Blockchain_Wallet_Passwords/Example_Recovering_Blockchain_Wallet_Passwords/#previously-known-as-blockchaininfo
959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 2013 wallet. Only wallet.aes.json file on: March 19, 2023, 06:48:42 PM
You said you managed to log in? How?

Have you tried importing the file here[1] or using the recovery tool[2]? I know you need your password for that, but not sure if the seed is required too.

In the meantime, if I want to make any further investments can anyone recommend an exchange with GBP deposit and WITHDRAWAL?

I'm having a look into Kraken as a possibility.

Yes, Kraken is good. Alternatively, you also have Coinbase[1] or CoinCorner[2].
