Dos and don'ts:
  • Do so only if you understand what is being discussed and you have the knowledge and ability to continue the discussion with some constructive advice.
  • Don't do it if you don't understand and don't add anything constructive to the discussion because in the end your reply will only be seen as forced, worse if it's spam or off topic.
The favorite mistake that is often ignored is that they only read the title of topic without reading the contents of the post on the first page. Sometimes one or two previous replies are constructive enough, so there's no need to have a third reply for the same thing.
When engaging in discussions on forums, the simple thing to note is that the content of the discussion in it is not the title of the post, because when someone understands the discussion they will easily understand what needs to be discussed. Forcing discussions without knowledge will lead to incompetence and often people force discussions in this style and in the end it seems that we are not knowledgeable.

That's a mistake made by most people, both beginners and people who have been on forums for a long time, because they only read the title and don't study the discussion in it, so that the ongoing discussion is no longer constructive and out of substance as the ongoing discussion.

It looks like Manchester United have also joined the race for Declan Rice. Their deal is likely to be like money + Maguire or McTominay. Maybe not Maguire but McTominay might be favourable by West Ham side. Because Rice is also a defensive midfielder like McTominay so they might find it okay to think about it.
Man United is also one of the clubs interested in signing Declan Rice and McTominay is a scapegoat to smooth out their plans. But if you're a Premier League fan, McTominay's abilities seem to be about the same as Declan Rice's and not too far from either of them. Although the opportunity to play this season has made Declan Rice considered one of the best players who has developed rapidly with West Ham.

Bartering with him doesn't really benefit Man United and I prefer this scenario to be carried out with Man United captain Maguire. A midfielder is really needed by Man United and I think McTominay is still quite needed because Man United is playing in many competitions next season.

But of course the money part must be convincing for West Ham. Because Arsenal look ready to pay even 100 million euros for Rice now. As far as I have heard West Ham have been demanding around this amount. His market value is already 90 million euros and he is a young and solid player. I'm not surprised with this demand as a result.
The latest news that I have seen in various internet media sources, Man United has also made a bid of 100 million euros to West Ham for Declan Rice, but so far we have not seen a decision from West Ham. Arsenal are unlikely to dare to bid 100 million euros to bring Declan Rice to the Emirates Stadium and I think they will look for other options if they fail to get it.
943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you cheat in gambling? on: June 22, 2023, 05:37:51 PM
As a morally upright person that does not like to cheat people, but gambles and has lost a lot of money to gambling in a casino where you have sometimes been cheated even without your knowledge or betting on sports, will you take an opportunity you get and go against your moral standards to cheat a casino or sportsbetting place, just so you can win big at least even once.
What kind of fraud do you mean because if this is talking about slot machines, they will actually deceive you because you cannot be responsible for the gambling that in do. Don't talk about morals in gambling because basically gamblers are not working in a social institution and there will be cheating if they have the opportunity to do so and gambling is always associated with the ability to carry out activities responsibly or not.

There is nothing clean in gambling and anyone who has the opportunity to cheat will do so, moral standards are not enforced in gambling and anyone will do anything if they have the opportunity to profit.

Will you try a trick to win on casino game machines if you were told and it is a 100% working trick to cash out? Will you bet on fixed games if you get the tip early?
If the trick is successful, more and more people will gamble and eventually the casino owner will go bankrupt. LOL Unfortunately that never happens and there are hardly any tricks that actually work 100% in any gamble including slots.
944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do gambling addicts bother about the consequences of their actions? on: June 22, 2023, 04:52:15 PM
A question that bothers me concerning this issue is;
1. Do gambling addicts ever take a second thought on what the consequences of their actions can be not just to them but on those close to them?
In the case of addictive gambling, they no longer think about the actions and other effects they receive from gambling. But rather think about hallucinations to get big wins from the gambling they do, so that their mindset shifts to the verge of uncertainty because it is related to psychology.

2. Do they in reality genuinely feel any remorse about  how those affected by their actions might be feeling?
Regret will come later when they lose everything they have, I think human instincts are there and they can feel how themselves and others feel from the effects of the irresponsible gambling that they live. It's just that sometimes they are difficult to control because of the influence of gambling addiction that has been embedded in their minds.

3. Or, are they a dispassionate victim of their own uncontrollable addictive gambling lifestyle?
Initially all gamblers feel conscious of the actions they are doing, but because the habit is done repeatedly it makes them addicted and difficult to control. There are some gamblers who are victims of other people at first, but after the addiction is no longer able to be controlled, they will try to make other people their victims.
945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Victor Osimhen to the English Premier League on: June 19, 2023, 08:44:04 PM
Victor Osimhen is a Nigeria professional footballer and presently the striker for Napol in Italian League, he is one of the best striker in the world, he is performing exceptionally well that have attracted big clubs from England mostly, planning to bid the market on him during the transfer market. The question now is that can he perform in the English premier league? English premier league is one of the toughest league in the world consist of strong and fast defenders.
Nothing is impossible and Victor Osimhen is also not the type of player who waits for the ball to flow to score goals, he is the type of player who works hard and has good skills on the ball. The Premier League is known for having a tough style of play and most of the players who play there are injury prone and I think what Victor Osimhen needs to look at is this problem to avoid injury. As for whether he can adapt to the Premier League or not, I don't think it's a big deal and I'm sure he can do that.

We all know that most players who come from the Italian league does not really perform in English premier league for example, is players like Tammy Abraham who couldn’t perform effectively in the English Premier league went on to become one of the best player in AS Roma, we see players like Gonzalo Higuain who didn’t perform at all in the English premier league but was one of the best players in the Italian league , Victor Osimhen is a very good and strong player, can he adapt to the English Premier league?
That will also apply to Victor Osimhen and there is a lot of concern coming from some football pundits, but it is not necessarily proven and I think Victor Osimhen has to prove the concerns of many people regarding his future in the Premier League.
946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: June 19, 2023, 08:34:21 PM
The next season for the competition is going to be really tough because some top Saudi teams have showed interest in many players currently playing in Europe and most of them are satisfied with the offers coming for them. Gradually, the unknown Saudi team is already getting media attention and following after Ronaldo join the Al-Nassr team last season. Many people assumes it’s about money most of the players are joining those teams, if that’s the reason, then it’s still okay. But I’m certain that very soon the league will no more be about that but will be a tough competitive league amongst others.
The effect of Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival in Saudi Arabia was quite instrumental for several other players who followed in his footsteps. In the past, the Saudi Arabian league was not so much the center of attention for European players, besides that clubs in Saudi Arabia had a lot of money and the impact of Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival was also great. Now the Saudi Arabian League competition will be more competitive and many football fans will watch the league from various television broadcasts.

Saudi Arabia does have the ability to influence business in football and even their presence is now increasingly related to European club ownership. Interestingly, offers to buy top European players were actually able to break the dominance of the big European leagues, even though those who came there had aged a little and were no longer as productive players as before.
947  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: June 18, 2023, 04:14:54 PM
Let's say you have 100k in USDT that you want to invest, so don't invest all your money in bitcoin because you need a reserve budget. 20% of that is a pretty good amount as a reserve budget, even if you don't have enough later you don't need to sell all your bitcoin to cover your expenses. About whether you must have it or not, it depends on yourself and your financial condition. If you have more assets as property that can be sold instead of selling bitcoin, then you may have other options to avoid selling at loss.
The priority scale is basically very necessary for beginners because they cannot diversify the BTC they have because the amount is still small. If they do not have cash reserves will have an unstable level of investment stability, while selling bitcoin in a decline caused by the urgent need for cash in day-to-day fulfillment will make their investment amount slow and become unstable. Choices like this will sometimes interfere with investing for them because when building a holding they are faced with other needs that force them to sell bitcoins. It is much more appropriate if they also keep cash in savings and do not need to sell other assets as an option to avoid losses.

There are not really any problems to diversify out of some of your BTC in planned kinds of ways; however, at the same time, there are likely going to be needs to assess the extent to which BTC needs to be used for the various kinds of investments that you perceive to be important to your life or to persons within your circle.  There surely could be cases in which selling some BTC on the way up would be justified and also justified in such a way to diversify some of your investments out of BTC - especially also when your BTC holdings might have appreciated to very high percentages in terms of your overall investments that you hold.. and for those kinds of reasons, you perceive it to be better to draw from you BTC rather than drawing from other assets or income sources or credit that you might have available to you.
Yes, I agree with you and as long as we diversify our BTC in the right way it is not a problem, for example on a trip we need money as a life support, so selling some of it will not make us lose money because it could be that the buying patterns we take are not all the same, so even though when the price is down we can still adjust the overall investment we have. But it would be nice if we had money in savings as a solution when we need money as a life support so that Hold's priority is not disturbed by the diversification of needs.

Especially for beginners who are just trying to add to their bitcoin holdings and when they need money they don't need to sell the bitcoin they have. This kind of discussion is important to provide a basic overview of the decisions that must be taken when faced with the same problem and especially for beginners who are just involved in investing.
948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Interested in investing in Bitcoin my childhood friend after losing business on: June 18, 2023, 11:52:59 AM
My friend works in a private company and he has saved some money from there. With that money they went into business in a four person partnership, initially he made some profit in the business then he suffered some financial loss.
Is there the closest source that directs us to find out the causes of their financial losses, is the business they run with bankruptcy?

My friend knows that I am involved with Bitcoin. He got some ideas about Bitcoin from me. So he wants to invest money in Bitcoin. I didn't tell him anything about the risk of investing. Since he wants to invest, should I advise him to invest?
If the investment knowledge he has is lacking, financial losses will also end like the business they run because of the true investment and business both use money. Although bitcoin can bring someone to be more independent in financial, but without knowledge and is unable to control risk it will not end satisfactorily.

You need to teach him about risk control and nothing is instant in investment, therefore your friend must also understand how to invest correctly and not enough just by listening to bitcoin from others for trying to invest.
949  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: June 17, 2023, 06:01:32 PM
If you have a clear reason why you should sell your bitcoins in the past, then I don't think it's a bad decision.
There are many reasons to sell bitcoin holdings and one of them is when you feel you need the money urgently. Your health and anything other like building a business are some of the reasons to sell bitcoin, but if you have better options then holding and seeking a solution such as a loan is fine too.
Bitcoin's priority scale is not more valuable when you experience health problems, selling Bitcoin for health costs is not too bad for me and even if you sell Bitcoin as a business support is far more productive because when the business is developing you can buy bitcoin with a much bigger amount. But there are other ways that can be taken, namely making financial scale to meet other needs, such as health, children's education costs and costs for businesses that have been prepared.

Sometimes the conditions for the need for money are not in the right conditions where the price of bitcoin has decreased, so selling the bitcoins that we have at that time will make a loss. Preparing needs that are used through savings is also needed as an option when we need money suddenly and don't need to sell bitcoin when facing conditions like that.
950  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Goal Achievement on: June 17, 2023, 05:06:34 PM
Bitcointalk is a broad community where bitcoin technologies and informations are been discussed, so what I observed in Bitcointalk is that for me to go further I have to read what others has written properly and make my contributions to where I understand a discussion.
It is important to read before you try to correct other people's posts and the basis of the forum is a discussion where everyone needs knowledge to continue an interesting discussion. When you understand what is discussed, it will give birth to knowledge that can be shared with others.

Another thing I notice that contributes to achieving our goals easily here is by making a good sentence with punctuation marks where necessary and correct spellings because good sentence will make a reader to understand our point of view properly.
Correct writing has clear punctuation such as the placement of periods or commas and other problems when people try to write something that is not from their mother tongue will struggle a bit. Further learning is needed so that we can write easily and can be understood by others, when we are serious about reading more things then the knowledge to write will be even better.

When we don't stop at one point it will lead to other knowledge and what needs to be multiplied is reading so that we are more in control and most importantly every time we try to discuss we know the problem and don't force yourself to respond to something you don't understand because it will make us wrong in giving answers.
951  Economy / Economics / Re: Retirement Age for Workers - Does this Make Sense? on: June 17, 2023, 04:03:49 PM
Regardless, what I think is that the government shouldn't shove it down the throat of people. Workers who are approaching retirement age should be given a choice after appraisal to keep working or retire.

What sense does this make? Would you agree or disagree?
Productivity at age is not always the same from one person to another and there are some people at the age of 50 who cannot even work anymore due to limited health. Every company or government has a different perception regarding productivity age, but I think it needs to be seen from a health perspective. In my country there is usually a young retirement term for people with health problems and they don't have to wait until retirement age to stop working.

So as long as they are still productive at work, I don't think it's a problem, but it's different if they don't have health that can encourage more productive work. Age 62 years should be enough for workers to retire and does not need to be added to 64 years for retirement.
952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to fight with FUD about Bitcoin on: June 17, 2023, 01:56:36 PM
However, his negativity against Bitcoin is totally stupid. In fact, it seems he is biased when talking about Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency. He talks nonsense as if he doesn't know anything about Bitcoin. He is spreading wrong information about Bitcoin in quora. It's simple, when you don't know anything perfectly and you want to talk about that, you will only generate some stupid text.
I read all the posts you made on here and thought it would be a waste of time arguing with people who hate bitcoin and somehow they will try to defend their argument. To my knowledge there are no legal institutions dealing with crypto or bitcoin issues so it's a bit difficult to find one, especially for those of us who live in countries that aren't very friendly to bitcoin in particular. If you think this needs to be straightened out, write to the institution where he works and invite them to discuss this issue openly or it could be via radio channels in your country.

But the problem is when your country doesn't legalize bitcoin as a commodity asset, it will be difficult for you to build public impact on this and also impossible to have a public debate that gets people talking about bitcoin because there are regulatory limits set by your government. Even if you try to force this to happen and then you will be in trouble with the laws in your area of residence.
953  Economy / Economics / Re: Rent or buy real estate - let's have a debate on: June 16, 2023, 07:37:46 PM
Let's assume, you are well capable enough to buy a new property through bank loan. Your income supports the mortgage payment so banks are willing to lend you money.
It doesn't matter when people take out loans to buy property and besides they have support for mortgage payments. Precisely a decision like this in my opinion is far more appropriate than taking a loan but not being able to pay the mortgage loan costs every month.

What will be the best route to take? Buy the property or stay in a rented place?

The usual appreciation rate of your property value is around 10% owing to the development work that are ongoing. For rented property, your rent increases by 15% every year.
Let's simplify this as the idea of assigning precision values to each other. Renting is not a solution because it is not ours, whereas buying will impact assets into ours, because the context for having the ability to cover mortgage costs and is different when speculating without the ability to pay off the mortgage. The depreciating cost of property value is something that will continue to happen whether you own it or rent it, but the difference is that when you try to spend money on personal assets, it is much better than spending money on renting property.

In the long run it is impossible for us to live forever with rental properties and when the ability to buy is backed by the ability to cover mortgage loans why choose to rent? Not necessarily when we get older our ability to buy is still available and not to mention those who are no longer productive will usually lose their permanent jobs and as a result we also cannot afford to rent. But when we are still productive to make money, it's better to buy it so that the preparation for old age is much more promising.
954  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Encouragement and lesson learnt on: June 16, 2023, 06:55:36 PM
Newcomers note nobody succeeds overnight stay focused work hard and never give up on your dreams or goal it may delay but it must come to fulfilment.
Nothing is instant in this world because everything needs a process for us to achieve, many people will share knowledge and the initial process when they get to know forums and the best way so that you can focus more on learning about forums is by "reading". Criticism is not always considered negative as long as it gives direction to anyone, because with this criticism we will add to our knowledge, so there is no need to be allergic when dealing with criticism from people who have experience in forums, because in fact it is the impetus that will make us grow.

All that needs to be done is to read more and study something that you think can provide insight into the knowledge you want to learn, nothing is difficult when we are consistent in learning but unfortunately many people are inconsistent and in the end give up and hopefully you are not included in that group.
955  Other / Archival / Re: No panic while holding my Bitcoin on: June 16, 2023, 05:17:11 PM
now what happens, more people don't understand the events of the Binance and SEC dispute, and many misunderstand and speculate as if Binance has been banned worldwide. this has a direct effect on crypto prices and see now the price crash and even altcoins are even worse
Even though what happened was Binance US which had an impact while for Binance globally it was still safe, that is the reason why panic can cause chaos in the market, so what happened today crypto was hit and made prices go down again.

Binance Global was not affected and since the SEC disrupted binance a lot of FUD has spread wildly and uncontrollably so that Binance's credibility has decreased slightly. Is this a manipulation by whales to make Bitcoin prices cheaper ahead of the Halving?

But looking at history May and June are bearish months and it's happening again right now.
No one knows for sure and indeed if you pay attention before ATH there are always events that make the crypto market hit and in the end after everything is normal, the four-year moment will give a very high price swing or what is called ATH. But there is always no certainty in making an analysis of prices and I think this is a moment that can be taken advantage of, regardless of how the market reacts now.

Maybe we will also see a bearish history until next month for bitcoin's journey in particular or it could be sideways. No one knows for sure how the process went and to be honest I'm not an analysis that can provide an accurate picture for this understanding, with limited knowledge and not so well-established analysis.
956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: June 16, 2023, 04:36:37 PM
the problem is that the national coaches of brazil are not people who have already been successful with a great team in europe, so what happens is that the brazilian coach does not understand his players well and the style of games of the europeans and in the games he cannot do it good strategy that can easily beat the european national teams, but brazil does not seem to want to hire a european coach who has been very successful with european teams to command the national team, so we will see brazil making the same mistakes in the cups of the world in the coming years
That is also one of the weaknesses because they don't have an experienced coach, but if we look at the Moroccan coach he is even more inexperienced but he has successfully led Morocco to finish in fourth place at the Qatar World Cup. In addition to the ability of coaches, teamwork is also very much needed in modern football and maybe Brazilian players are less integrated in this regard. On the other hand, we often hear that the era of football will move about the heyday, for example from Europe to Latin America as a champion candidate.

We can't compare Pele, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, or other similar players with Neymar, they played for their national teams for a long time and they earn many achievements also compared to Neymar these players had much better performance and they had more stability while a player like Neymar can't have weeks of good performance and then just like this year, he can disappoint while the team.

I think the generation of golden players in Brazil is over and that's why they couldn't earn many achievements recently in the world cup
That is what was conveyed in the reply to the previous post, each player must have their own advantages and it is impossible to be compared to legendary players or other players. Pele, Ronaldinho and Ronaldo have their own character and even though the Brazilian style of football is known as Jogo bonito (samba) and has similarities between one player and another Brazilian player. Even though they have similarities, the characteristics of the players are definitely different and has its own advantages.

For the generation of players I think it's not over for Brazil, but the dominance has diminished because many other countries also have players who are quite talented and they were born during the heyday of football in their country. For now, Brazil is no longer the only country that is able to produce a generation of extraordinary footballers because there are many other countries that also have talents in football for each generation.
957  Other / Archival / Re: No panic while holding my Bitcoin on: June 15, 2023, 06:06:21 PM
Indeed knowledge is power, because knowledge can save you when money failed, because knowledge failure is a lifetime problem but money failure in terms of investment is temporally and if I wait I will soon be in profit again very soon, that is what past records have shown and proven.
The important point you have learned correctly and I like to listen to this sort of thing instead of arguing with risk whims and price fluctuations. Knowledge will lead us to the stage of emotional control when the market takes a hit as a result of some developing FUD news, as has been the case in recent days. The binance case also has an influence on the current decline in bitcoin prices and if you don't learn to understand bitcoin performance it will put you in a panic stage and whatever you have learned is good for actual knowledge.

Keep calm and keep collecting bitcoins (HOLD) is the best way to make maximum profits in the long term. The momentary panic caused by some of the problems that occur in the market will bring someone to the big loss stage and we have the opportunity to hold and not have to sell the bitcoins that we have during the current market conditions.
958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Easy or hard to quit? on: June 15, 2023, 05:05:14 PM
Can you quit gambling if you make a life changing money and never go back to gambling?
Do you mean people make money regularly at gambling or do you mean casino owners? I've seen people completely quit gambling the last time they had a big win in the lottery and have so far never touched gambling again.

Is it fine to say that people should not go back into gambling once they made high amount of money? Because the chance of losing that money again is very high, even if they don't use all the money to gamble at once, gambling can take it all back in time.
The nature of gambling can never end even though we make a lot of money in the past luck and if gambling to make profit regularly then it is totally wrong and no one can afford to keep the gambling money if they don't stop. It's back to the person themselves and if they are not an addicted gambler anyone can stop when they have the intention to stop.

Gambling will take everything if people fall into the category of addiction, because they always hallucinate to get big wins when they get into gambling and without realizing it one day they will lose everything they have.

Have you ever won a high amount of money from gambling and managed to not lose them all back to gambling? And to date, you are still gambling?
I have never gambled with big bets, so until now I have never made much money from gambling. But from the several wins that I got, because of greed and thinking to multiply my wins by increasing the bet, in the end I had to lose all the money I had won. Currently I only gamble for fun and consciously never get involved in an irresponsible out of control, gamble only when I want to spend my free time with friends and co-workers.
959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another side of Sports betting you may not know about on: June 15, 2023, 04:33:18 PM
Cheating in the world of sports is always there, it involves quite a lot of money under the table. It's no exception that football is also dragged into it even if it's the top league in European countries. La Liga and Serie A get the most attention about this cheating, but it can also happen in other top leagues such as the Premier League, Bundesliga and Ligue 1.

In the last year Barcelona in La Liga have been faced with accusations of bribing referees, Manchester City has also been accused of committing an offense which made him have to deal with FFP. But I think a lot of other clubs are also involved but they can pretty much cover up his moves even if they're dirty.
Nothing is clean in the world of sport and there is always cheating that is played by people who have influence and money is one medium that can influence this cheating but maybe people are seeing more and more cheating in football in Serie A. Several recent cases in Serie A, La Liga and the Premier League illustrate how many fraudulent games have been exploited in sports by using power, so that we realize that there is no such thing as clean in the world of any sport.

The problem is sometimes when they file an appeal, actually regardless of the problem being accused and we never know whether it's a game or indeed it can't be proven with data. It is not surprising because sports are closely related to gambling which involves a lot of money in it and is able to affect anything for those who have an interest in destroying the existing system.
960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: June 15, 2023, 03:46:33 PM
I'm aware of the talents of the Brazilian players but still the Brazil we see right now is not in a good performance like were years ago and there are not any superstar players like Kaka, Ronaldo, etc... in this team anymore. Even players like Neymar can't have the same performance we saw from then in the last years,
Neymar is also one of the players included in a row of legends such as Pele, Cafu, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo and Kaka. But the problem is that until now Neymar has not been able to offer a title to his country at the World Cup. Neymar's appearance in the two previous World Cups can also be said to be pretty good, even though he had injured during the Qatar World Cup. To compare Neymar with other legends might not be the same because each player must have differences and and every generation must be different.

It is precisely what I see football today is different from traditional football, where each individual can provide changes on the field. But now it's more to collectivity and individual abilities don't stand out so much if you don't play solidly between one player and another.

I would say that Brazil never had any problems with talents and even strong players who belong to the top elite soccer players in the world. In the recent past or during the last few tournaments they had more trouble to build a cohesive team. One that fits together perfectly and that can play as we have been knowing Brazil for a long time. They have a lot of exceptional individual players, but they couldn't build the ties between all these exceptional players and develop a team that feels united and fights as a unit for their success. As soon as they can solve that problem, the times will come back when Brazil is the team that must be beaten in order to win the World Cup.
This is where Brazil's weaknesses today and although they have quite quality star players, but still very difficult for this team to win the World Cup. Even though every year there are always Brazilian players who are able to penetrate Europe even though they are sometimes not up to 20 years and almost on average their players play in large clubs. Difficulties in building a team collectively may be the part that affects them unable to perform optimally at every World Cup performance but other facts may also not be deals.

Even when Brazil hosted the 2014 World Cup before, Germany managed to slaughter Brazil with a landslide score of 7-1 and at that time the Brazilian players were also extraordinary, even the squad they had was far better than the squad that appeared in Qatar.
