961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Alt. Coin you think will reach BTC price in one-two years? on: September 26, 2013, 10:39:39 PM
None. You're delusional if you think otherwise.
962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Number of Confirmations". One reason why ALL alts are a fail! on: September 26, 2013, 05:19:36 AM
That's not a swastika.

OP is only half correct in his statements... It allows a certain type of attack to be staged faster, but does not necessarily make that attack easier.

966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Petition for btc-e to add MEGACOIN [MΣC] on: September 24, 2013, 04:16:21 PM
Look at this circlejerk!

Horrible coin, and will never get added.
967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Estimating the amount of coins that Phenixex.com has stuck/scammed on: September 24, 2013, 01:54:39 PM
Phenixcoin was one of the most obvious scams in recent times.... Does this come as any surprise?
968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING: BTC-e now bans users for mentioning mcxNOW on: September 24, 2013, 01:51:22 PM
My money is safer in BTC-e than it is in MCXNow. And given the state of BTC-e, that speaks volumes for the shadiness of realsolid.

This is merely a blanket policy. They also ban you for mentioning other irrelevant exchanges such as vircurex and bter.

You are deluding yourself if you think mcxnow has stolen any significant amount of market share.

Actually I trust no online exchange/ wallet with my finances so mcxNOW still looks like a better/ open trading environment in my opinion. And if I do choose to keep some coin on mcxNOW, I earn interest. RS is no shadier than a bunch of Russians who cannot speak proper English or reveal their own identities. I saw some statistics the other day how much RS has gained on BTC-e's turf. If I can be bothered later on, I will dig them up.

At least we know theyre russians. Who the fuck is realsolid? Where does he live? No one knows a damn thing about him. Hes a ghost. Hes "joked" before that he could run off with money and no one would be able to find him.

You do realize mcxnow was only created as an outlet to dump all the mincoins he premined, right?

970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] CryptoNerd - Crypto News & Stuff... • TIX is LIVE! Come and get it... on: September 24, 2013, 01:08:16 PM
You lose instant credibility in my mind as an unbiased news site by pushing a copy cat coin like Tix right off the bat from your site launch. Horrible way to start a news site by trying to get your readers to buy into a scam coin.

Instead of a "news site" you should call it an "advertisement site." This is simply the pump part of the pump & dump.
Seriously, this is the biggest load of transparent bullshit I've ever seen. You're not even subtle about it, OP.

972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [HUC] HunterCoin - A game/world within the blockchain - New type of Crypto on: September 24, 2013, 02:32:25 AM
Miners will receive a percentage of coins generated within the world when certain scenarios happen (to encourage miners to process as many transactions as possible).
How do you plan on preventing people from focusing on just making these scenarios happen?
973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: mcxNOW Awesome exchange :D on: September 20, 2013, 08:02:39 PM
Are you guys kidding? Cryptsy has issues almost every single day, deposit/whitdraw problems, ddos, sms/email sometimes doesnt work, random loging off, trade engine is slow as a dead horse (DGC yesterday for example). Support on Cryptsy from Bitjohn is really fair and great! And I am very thankful for that. But Vern should make some serious changes to be competitive. New trade engine, hardware etc...

I use both exchanges every day and MCX is currently far superior exchange out there... It is not metter of quantity it is metter of quality!
Ignorance is bliss. The operator of mcxnow has a history of being a con artist (through solidcoin and microcash) and no one knows who he is. He could run off with all deposits without a trace.

Compare that to cryptsy, Vern puts his face out there and everyone knows who he is, and where he lives. You're a fool.

Impossible it may be, idiots will still fall for it. This forum has a profound lack of economic sense.

976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple price on: September 20, 2013, 04:05:15 PM
Bitcoin and Ripple are just the two first concepts that have seen success in our exploding new space. We've seen incredible exponential growth. The eco-system has gone to over 2 billion in just three years. Moving forward the cryptocurrency world will be uniting more and more with the traditional financial system, and other digital currency spaces, which will lead to more and more substantial inflows.

The value of the entire global currency and precious metals markets might be 80 trillion. Our eco-system is a drop in the bucket. Being openly negative about Ripple has just the same effect as being openly negative about Bitcoin, it diminishes our collective momentum. There is incredible room for growth, and we can capitalize best on this growth by working together.

Do you want to change the world? I want to change the world. We can't do that unless real money from outside sources starts pouring in. I want to see ripples at $1 and bitcoins at $5,000. That's when things start getting interesting.
Ripple is a parasite that sucks the life out of bitcoin. Ripple can not exist without bitcoin. Bitcoin can exist without ripple.

Whereas bitcoin transfers actual value around, ripple merely transfers debt. It's a shitty system and one that no one here should support.
977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RippleScam.org- If people truly knows what Ripple is, nobody would use it. on: September 20, 2013, 02:29:19 PM
The point is that Ripple is not decentralized, not about alt coins. But remember Tenebrix? It was the first Scrypt alt coin iirc, it was premined, so Litecoin was formed that's 1:1 to Tenebrix except without the premine.
Fairbrix was the first version of Tenebrix without the premine.

Litecoin was just another pathetic copy that happened to have a good name, and took off because of it.

We can safely throw this one in the trash pile.
