961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many times you heard the bitcoin gonna die? on: December 19, 2018, 01:55:36 AM
yes it is called bitcoin obituaries which is basically every time some "big" news was released about bitcoin and how it is "dead" or "dying": https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoinobituaries/

it doesn't has small idiotic ones that is the every day FUD spread by newbies though. Wink

We should have many more of this site to list how many times bitcoin get up and recover from these fuds that Bitcoin died, right now Bitcoin is recovering I hope the trend continues, about Bitcoin dying it will continue to exist as long as the market is volatile.
962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If all altcoins die, only Bitcoin is left, will it rise X100? on: December 18, 2018, 11:38:59 PM
We know, at the beginning of crypto, there was bitcoin as only one crypto. If we return to that situation, will Bitcoin rise sharply?
Does Altcoins have a more positive impact on Bitcoin or will it weaken Bitcoin?

every day we have seen a lot of altcoins going useless and a new one launching, but Bitcoin is still there still on top the market, we must admit that coins will come and go but Bitcoin is here to stay no doubt about that the market is our witness.
963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What needs to happen in 2019 for the market to recover? on: December 18, 2018, 08:12:06 AM
I read a tweet this morning saying: "In 2018 everyone wanted to be in crypto. In 2019, we will find out who really wants to be in crypto."

Who's ready to invest in 2019?

2019 - a year for more applications? More useful use cases? Proper token economics?

I know the Elrond Network team will be here in 2019 - buidling as always Smiley

2018 is really hard for all holders I'm a newbie here but I prefer to stay whatever happens this 2019, it's been ten years, and cryptocurrency have gone a long way in these ten years and we will just leave it because it's not performing very well this year? we need to sum up what cryptocurrency have done over the years.
964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long does it take to become a pro on: December 18, 2018, 08:04:14 AM
I am really interested in this question. And you might be surprised, but I came here not only for money, but on the first place I put the feeling that I can do something important. Cryptocurrency world is not a teaching, medicine or life guard area, but i am a strong believer that every person should do something important for him, his family and friends and for other people as well. So I am thinking of becoming some kind of cryptocurrency consultant or something like that. But I understand that in order to achieve this goal I need to have a perfect portfolio and to become a highly qualified professional myself. I am ready to hard work for years, but i want to know how much time will I need? One year is not enough but what about three or four years? Will it be enough? What do you think? Thank you very much and good luck with your business.

I believe one year is enough it all depends on how focus you are and how dedicated you are in your time and effort to learn everything about cryptocurrency all you need to learn about cryptocurrency are all here being an open source technology, and you have made the right start by joining in this forum and being active.
965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Rewarding signature campaign, are you satisfied? on: December 14, 2018, 11:53:03 PM
This is the first time I saw this kind of recommendation, because 15 post a week that is just two post daily is not that really hard if you are serious in your bounty campaign, the only problem that we have to concern with is the success of the campaign that we are promoting, or we will not get a reward if it fail.
966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETHEREUM has just rised 3$ in last 30 minutes on: December 14, 2018, 11:50:31 PM
Today its now a big deal when one coin on our portfolio rises with $5 - $10 for few minutes.

But suddenly it will be followed by a bigger loss so that doesn't really matter anymore. And its current price is $84 which is basically low to those that have bought it when it was higher than $100. These rises are made by a quick pump and sell order if someone buys with a large amount of ETH equal to price increase.

There should be confidence and majority of investors and traders started to buy not just a few individual or groups for the price to continue to rise again, it's still a see-saw but the slide of price is the one that is very relevant, and people are watching for the price daily if it is will slide more.
967  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin To Drop As Low As $1000 This Year on: December 13, 2018, 05:51:48 AM
There's a possibility that it could happen because of the spending people do these holiday seasons, of course, the profit is very low in trading and investing and people prefer to do a wait and see and judging from the scenario that we are in, the price will continue to drop but hopefully not the $1000 this thread has mentioned
968  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a service that can help me brute force my password? on: December 12, 2018, 02:18:06 AM
I only know this guy that have good reputation if you want recovery services, his site are attached to his profile, as long as you give the hint about your password.
if you mean brute force from 0 without anything, then you need a lot of time, especially if you have long password, it can probably take a year or probably 100 years or probably more, which is impossible for now.

I agree to that it still depends on the complexity of the password, if it is an easy one without those special characters it will only takes weeks but if there are they will charge you more, but if the wallet has a huge amount then go for it, but since you had your private key is not possible to transfer to a new wallet.
969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe this is the highest bottom ? on: December 10, 2018, 12:05:53 PM
the situation still shows that this has not been the lowest point of the price of the crypto currency, they have not yet fully recovered, even though they are seen continuing to decline

There are fuds I've read online that the price could go down to $2000 which I'm hoping will not happen, so many are going to lose if that happens, it's like a domino effect people thought they have reached the lowest bottom and another round of dipping is going on.
970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next month early January 2019. on: December 10, 2018, 07:36:01 AM
What is your best plan, if you look at the uncertain crypto market situation, do you have plans to invest in several altcoins?
what coins do you think will be good in 2019. Thanks. Smiley

My bet is still on the top coins in the market, no new coins in the market will have a chance to first rise in the price, it will always be the top coin in the market that is the first one to increase in price like Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP I would like to invest only if the market shows a bull sign.
971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum price dump on: December 10, 2018, 07:33:14 AM
Can anyone explain why Ethereum is kissing the floor?

I read that those others ICO developers are now dumping their Eth they got from their ICO and it's like a domino effect, those developers who are doing this are scam ICO who wats to convert their eth to fiat and run away with their investors' fund and this greatly hard the ICO industry.
972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know when to stop a HODL/HOLD on: December 07, 2018, 04:19:25 AM
Newbies can easily be influenced from what they hear from speculations.. I've read several times people tend to advice to hold long term. because its easy for them to say JUST HOLD cause theyre not the one losing! For me its not all about holding, its being smart about your own invesment know when to stop and cut the losses.

What are your thoughts?

I agree with your opinion, if you will not follow your investment, you will just awake one day you have no portfolio at all because of your hodl until to the last attitude, the market is very volatile, what's in now but might be out in a couple of days, so take time to analyze your portfolio.
973  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Suspicious User Using Legit Airdrop to gain user info on: December 07, 2018, 04:09:42 AM
For me, there is no such thing as legit airdrop if they are only promoting an airdrop with no platform at all, one of my proof is the many airdrops I got from one of my wallets that until now has no value and it's been almost seven months, they either ask for your information or be the first one to sell.
974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am a loser. My only question now is, how do I tell my wife on: December 07, 2018, 03:58:40 AM
I mortgaged my house to buy $300,000 of ETH at 800.   I dod not tell her.   This house was paid off in full.  Now I cant make the mortgage payments with my job.  I cant even sell the ETH easily because I live in NH.   Should i keep holding?   Tired of making excuses about wherr all the money is going.   I guess I'm what you call a loser.   Thanks everyone.

That's too much and it will cause so much anxiety because Eth coin still dropping and we still don't know how low will it goes down, no one doesn't want you to be in your shoes, and I don't want to give you will false hope that you can recover your investment it's time to talk to your wife about this but this is just a recommendation.
975  Economy / Speculation / Re: "Buy the dip" is only a strategy for losers on: December 06, 2018, 09:47:13 AM
We see it every time Bitcoin goes to a new lower level.

Bitcoin "believers" will hurry to say "buy the dip" and "just wait it will come back"

Reality is that every dip is a new lower level - and after that comes another dip...and another.

In the beginning of 2017 very few people had Bitcoin - and therefore the price could quickly move up as a large number of people with zero financial understanding started buying Bitcoin.

Now a large number of people with zero understanding has Bitcoin and price moves down - there are no more new fools to get into Bitcoin to ever pump it again.

"Buy the dip" is something only fools believe - and as can be seen in here there are unfortunately many fools in here who do not understand that their money is already lost

Sounds like you are a pessimistic about Bitcoin returning to it's highest price and disregarding all the experts are predicting, it's still every man for himself, because the price that we expected to see at the end of this year is not happening and even going down, this is reason why people are on a wait and see attitude.
976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀🚀[ANN][BTE] BITWISE - DATA MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS🚀🚀 on: December 04, 2018, 11:20:20 PM
they are caught early and very fast no wonder there is no activity in their telegram channel anymore, I'm always glad everytime these frauds are exposed it will save time and effort for bounty hunters and money for investors we really to be wise before investing.
977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The era of bounty hunter comes to an edd? on: December 04, 2018, 11:17:11 PM
Many people live there life as a bounty hunter. They were making some good money by just doing bounty campaigns. But good days are coming to an end. Now almost 80% campaign is scamming. They are not paying a single coin. So the golden days of bounty hunters are coming to an end  Sad
What do you think?

Well I was just starting out and I don't think it's coming to an end, a good project will pay its bounty hunters because it will have an effect on the reputation of their supporters, bounty managers must see to it that their workers must be paid in time and complete.

We are still in limbo with so many top coins going up and down, so it's hard to make a decision about investing and coins are worth investing in 2019 we'll have to see the situation and the trend next year before we could decide for ourselves, but I have that it will recover.
979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you happy with stakes payment method ? on: December 04, 2018, 11:02:27 PM
As a member participating in the signature campaign with a very low rank, I prefer fixed amount that stakes model only works with members with good forum ranking, but I haven't been into a campaign that implements stakes model, but if it is good then it's worth to try it.
980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who remembers these coins? on: December 02, 2018, 11:48:14 AM
Anyone remeber AndroidTokens and Netcoin? So much promise but nothing ever evn came out of it.🤣🤣🤣🤣

Not only those coins, but we have thousands of coins who have lost their value in just five months of existence and many more will lose their value because some of these are just clone of old coins or really has no use and just launch their ICO for the sake of having one.
