961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Suspended NEBL Withdrawals on: April 21, 2023, 09:57:13 PM
Why not just withdraw the coin using the Neblio network into your custodial wallet first?
The fee is even much lower than on the BNB shit chain.

You could also use MEXC exchange, they have the NEBL network option as well for deposits and the exchange is almost similar to Bitget.

Also, if the system cannot handle some kind of transaction, such a thing would have to be disabled when creating the request.
More like generating a new address whenever an incoming transaction is detected in an old one?

I only want to know how long it will take.
That's a heck of a long time to just resolve such a simple issue. Have you tried to contact their rep profile in this forum like I suggested in the reply earlier on?
I see they were active on 17th April.
963  Other / Bitcoin Wiki / Re: Request edit privileges here on: April 20, 2023, 09:44:42 PM
I still wonder why people keep asking for edit privillage here. This thread is long dead and no one observes it any more

If anyone wants, edit privileges. They should read here;

Admins do not regularly read this forum.

If you need to reach us, I recommend using the #bitcoin-wiki channel on freenode IRC

or they could just post what they want to be edited in this thread - The Bitcoin Wiki Modernization Project - request changes and edits here

How I wish mods could just lock this thread.
964  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: PeachBitcoin.com | P2P Bitcoin Exchange 🍑 #kycfree on: April 20, 2023, 09:14:03 PM
App is region locked on playstore. I'm guessing you were coming from an IP address outside Europe? I tested it with a few Europe IPs and it worked fine.
Yeah, unfortunately I am currently outside Europe, and it seems their focus is only on some European countries as seen by the fiat currencies supported by the App.
I guess this is where I swallow the bitter pill, knowing that I will never be able to use their service.
965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: April 20, 2023, 08:53:03 PM
Is it just me who views football differently?

Why do people keep talking about Luck yet the players sweat their asses off to score goals and avoid conceding any goal?  Roll Eyes

Look at this one for example
Sevilla are such a lucky team honestly. Manchester United were going on really comfortable against them with a 2-0 lead. But somehow Sevilla managed to score two goals in the last minutes of the game.

But still I don't want to believe Sevilla can eliminate them. This luck will run out somewhere and I think that place is the rematch.
90 minutes, its Seville 3:0 Manchester United

It looks like some people have no idea what Sevilla is when it comes to Europa
966  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Population on: April 19, 2023, 09:47:42 PM
when we see that several countries are experiencing population decline, China and India are competing to dominate the population in their countries, but i believe that in the future this needs to be regulated in such a way that the population distribution throughout the world is evenly distributed.
In case you are not aware, Chain's population growth rate has been on a decline, and they have been worries to an extent that they want to boost the reproduction rate once again.

This is the same country that some years back had to limit its citizens from giving birth to more than 1 child per family. Perhaps the effect of that 1 child policy has kicked in.
967  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Jaxx Liberty wallet shut down || Attention, Jaxx users! on: April 19, 2023, 08:58:13 PM
Given that the wallet has been in operation for so many years with probably so many users, the time frame given to shut it down is too small. Good luck to those who never even subscribe for the service email notifications. The team should have started announcing about the shutdown 6 months or 1 year before, but then again, this is why it's so important to write down the seed phrase and store it safely as soon as a wallet is created.

I have this wallet on my PC but only use it for small transactions
968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 18, 2023, 09:46:30 PM
But I found the outcome of the game between Napoli and Milan more surprising than this one. I definitely thought that Napoli is going to turn this around or at least force the game into overtime. But all in all this was a painful defeat for Napoli as they controlled the game so hard! 74% possession and 16:1 corners! Cheesy This one will hurt for a very long time.
Surprising?

I won't search my post history to where exactly I said it but i will say this again. On top of playing good football, pedigree also plays a huge role… AC Milan had lots of that compared to Napoli.
As soon that they beat Napoli in the first leg, it was a little clear what would happen in the second leg.

What about Bayern Munich?
They were beaten by a big score by Manchester City while playing at the Etihad stadium which had never won the Champions League?
That game is still far from over. Bayern Munich still have a chance, though it's slim, but this is Champion's league.
969  Other / Meta / Re: locked thread for no reason on: April 17, 2023, 03:45:16 PM
You do have quite a number of threads in the gambling board that have been locked (I am not sure if it was done by the Mod or by you but if It was by the mods, then you might have an answer as to why the latest thread has been locked as well)

In Gambling board, they need 1 thread per service/casino

In Gambling discussion, it's Mostly about league threads, predictions, and discussions. Your post starts off an indirect advert. Maybe that's why they locked it up

Hi everyone.
Maybe some of you have noticed that we are quite active on the forum, trying our best to offer bitcointalk gamblers interesting promotions.
We at MegaPari got used to a format of a lottery - we ask players to fulfill certain requirements and collect their IDs in order to pick winners for rewards.
First they were some bonus offerings, now we are also giving away "physical prizes" - a luxurious vacation or even a Lamborghini crossover. (details in our ANN thread, btw).

But here what concerns me - I think we need to move to a more engaging way of communicating with the audience while  running such campaigns.
970  Other / Archival / Re: [banned mixer] - Premium Bitcoin Mixer | Launched in 2018 🛡️ on: April 16, 2023, 09:51:44 PM
does anybody has more information about the status?
Since few days no reaction.
I awaiting to start a new order ...
Your issue is not quite clear, that is why you are being ignored here.

What exactly happened? Did you contact their support? You might as well send a PM to [banned mixer] for a quicker response.

Suggestion!

Make backing up of seed phrase mandatory when one is just creating an account by asking the user to confirm the seed phrase they have just written down.

Link doesn't work

I tried installing the app on my PC via Windows subsystem for Android, but the option to install is greyed out as shown in the picture. Any suggestions?

Windows subsystem for Android has always worked for me when installing other APKs I want to use on PC. it's an emulator of sorts.

972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is SUI a SCAM project or LEGIT? on: April 16, 2023, 01:54:13 AM
Well Well Well, I just checked my twitter and guess what? #suiScam is trending

Is it FUD or the actually duped some testers?

You be the judge, check out the different threads on Twitter about people complaining how they were promised air.
973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: April 15, 2023, 09:58:51 PM
Real Madrid keep in compete for La Liga tittle after three points from Cadiz make difference 10 points from Barcelona have match today against Getafe, Madrid have expected for Getafe can get points from Barcelona after did by Girona last games success held draw and current Real Madrid opportunities with La Liga still not over yet.
I am a Real Madrid fan realistically, but I think it's over. No way, Barcelona is going to drop 10 or more points in the remaining 10 matches while Real Madrid wins all the remaining matches. Not even in my wildest fantasies. The only thing Real Madrid is probably trying to do is cement their place in second position, since Atlético Madrid is not so far away in the third place. If they win their match, they will be just 2 points behind Real Madrid.
974  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Beaxy exchange closed by SEC on: April 15, 2023, 09:43:11 PM
The first year they launched they wanted to attract users and they announced to gave away a 2018 Lamborghini Huracan RWD Coupe but have no idea whether anyone won the Lambo as i could not find that announcement from them regarding the winners.

Here is the announcement from Binance regarding the Lambo giveaway Lamborghini Giveaway
I have tried to search all over and haven't seen any post or article announcing the winners as well. Maybe it was just a stupid marketing gimmick or they just canceled the whole competitions.

It wasn't favorable for the small traders anyway, as the winner was going to be picked based on accumulated trading volume. By the time someone can make huge trading volumes, this means they can afford the lambo as well.
975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to backtrace my ADA purchase(need to pay taxes)? on: April 15, 2023, 09:19:01 PM
I believe you can still access the Cardano address you used for depositing the Cardano into Bittrex from the exchange account.

Get the address and enter it into a blockchain explorer that supports Cardano such https://blockchair.com/cardano/ and then trace back the transactions from there. You will be able to see the time stamps and value of the Cardano you were transferring at the time, depending on the features in the explorer.
976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is SUI a SCAM project or LEGIT? on: April 15, 2023, 08:51:11 PM
SUI conducted a TestNet program which lasted for almost a year and eventually they refused to airdrop their community who spend time and efforts to ensure the success of their project.
Is this the project you are talking about - sui.io?

According to this article, they said that the airdrop is going to be in Q4, 2023 or am I missing something?

977  Other / Archival / Re: [banned mixer] - service for anonymization of crypto transactions | Bitcoin mixer on: April 14, 2023, 03:09:52 PM
Welcome to the forum

I just checked out the website, not that it matters so much, but the information is scattered in huge letter across the home page, making it easy to ignore. Very huge letters always feel so intimidating to the eyes

I suggest you redesign the home page, put in some more additional information such as FAQs for users who access your site minus looking at your ANN in this forum

  • PureMixer commissions are among the lowest on the market

  • Availability of PureMixer code (mixing code)
Did you mean PureMixer service fee is among the lowest on the market? I don't intend to promote whirlwind in my post but they offer free mixing and that's donation based as we have seen with ChipMixer. Although whirlwind is doing this as an experiment for the next 3 months.
To be fair, they haven't claimed that their service charges the lowest fees in the market. They say PureMixer commissions are among the lowest on the market. Pay attention to the wording.
978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10k investment on: April 14, 2023, 02:41:25 PM
Just diversify if you aren't decided

Maybe 40% ADA, 30% XRP and 30% for another asset… maybe Doge. This will reduce the risk of you losing out in case something bad happened to XRP. ADA really preformed so well in the last Bull run and I believe it will continue to get a new all-time high in the next one.

As for XRP, there was no new all-time high from the one of 2018

Look at the charts and see which asset looks good

979  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitrue exchange hacked for $23 million on: April 14, 2023, 02:23:15 PM
Isn't it the second time this exchange has been hacked?

Well, I remember a certain incident in 2019 - Singaporean's Exchange Bitrue Gets Hacked, $5 million XRP and Cardano Lost

They also have a few scam accusations here and there. I can't rule out an insider job

They will also freeze your account if you engage in arbitrage trading. I mean, what is trading crypto without arbitrage trading?  Roll Eyes
980  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Resource Control in Africa on: April 14, 2023, 01:52:34 PM
When you said Africa was never ready for modern politics. Can you tell me why they choose to go for independence when they are not ready? At least a kid that went to school has to graduate before proceeding to the next level. Let's agree they are not ready but they still choose to do some corrections by learning more about the modern politics from people that colonized them if they want something good for their people not just to steal country money.
I think you didn't understand what I said

This current modern politics is Western thing and there is no such thing as independence to the "former" colonies. They are still being colonized, though you are too blind to see. When a country tries to break off from the Western System, they are immediately tagged as enemies. Look at what happened to Libya.

El Salvador decided to be different from the rest and made Bitcoin their legal tender, and they received all kinds of threats from all corners including IMF.

how long are we going to blame the colonial masters that helped us despite their evils plan in Africa, today Africans are under developing Africa. The white men has gone, we're in leadership positions yet we're unable to develop Africa. It's a pity. Shame to Africa leaders who has impoverished us.
For as long as they will stop meddling into affairs of other states.

If you think the colonial masters are gone, then you are mistaken. They are everywhere, in the media, they call your traditions and cultures evil and backward, they pretend to donate to the needy whilst making a shit ton of money out of such organizations, they arm rebels to destabilize mineral regions and then come around as peacekeepers to grab whatever they can, They choose what you should do with the money they lent you, they "monitor" your election process, they choose for you your leaders and the type of "modern politics" you should practice etc

Gone? Give me a break  Grin Grin

One day we shall rise. Africa shall be great again.
You will only rise again once you completely stop depending on the West for everything. Right now, Most countries in the world are still held captive.
