Yeah I dont quite understand the low interest in this ICO i can see great potential here... and best of all it seems like there is a great team behind this really pushing for success.

Is ~1,000 BTC, 73k views and 43 pages so bad?
You have to bear in mind that we have very few trolls here, so our thread has not been wildly inflated by proof-of-idiot.

No that's not bad... but its not reaching its full potential.

Haha proof-of-idiot! I like it! I'm sure the trolls will come. Probably from the iconomi thread.

Trolls serve the valuable purpose of bumping a thread regularly so new investors can see it. I'm sure they'll be along in their own good time.

how much btc minimal to deposit ico?

No minimum.
The cap for ICO is $5million and we have raised ~$640k, though, so you should consider $4,350,000 your maximum investment at this point.
964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Incent: The first universal, merchant-backed loyalty platform on: October 05, 2016, 01:27:43 PM
Incent will be one of the best ICO projects for 2016.
I feel the same too. Yesterday when I saw the raised BTC was around 650BTC and today they are almost 800BTC. collecting more than 100$ in one day is not a bad mark. I think it is a great thing...
but they have fixed the amount of ICO. mean 5 million $ total.. so it is not a period ico but it is just a target ICO.. so it may don't reach a new milestone but it will reach to it's own target for sure.

and want to share that I've bought 1000 Incent yesterday.. and hopefully I won't regret.

Thanks for buying!
Just to clarify, ICO will last until 30 November or until $5m is raised - whichever is first.

the price is 9k/btc now??

Yes. Slight drop, but still a bargain considering what we're up to Smiley (Goes off to polish Trojan horse)

Is it possible to send more waves from the first waves account to the same deposit adress? or should be used another new account and deposit adress to avoid any conflicts?. thx.

No, that's absolutely fine. Just make sure you've registered the address.

I am invested a small amount on ICO so far. I am thinking about to invest some more. I am still not completely convinced how this project is able to scale big. Could you already name some merchants which will partner Incent?

The two we have confirmations from are Sure Green in Essex, UK, and The Temperance Society bar in Sydney. They're our first e-commerce and bricks-and-mortar guys.

There are several more we are in talks with - you can take a look at incentloyalty.com for an overview. We can't give names, only broad strokes, because we're not at that stage yet. But it's fair to say that merchants are interested in this idea: they see the potential.
10k/BTC rate is valid another 4 hours, so do some thinking, ask any questions you want and make an informed decision Smiley

This reminds me of those amazon air miles and things like that or the shop reward back a certain % of what you pay normally 1%
This is a good idea I think. Where will we be able to spend our Incent coins ?

The network of participating merchants is just getting started. We've just signed up the first two and funding from the ico will allow us to accelerate these partnerships.

Hey,

can someone tell me how to invest with Waves when their stupid "WavesLiteApp" doesn't allow withdrawals?

Thanks.

It really does. At least, it does for everyone else.
Perhaps a little more information would be useful?
972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Incent: The first universal, merchant-backed loyalty platform on: October 04, 2016, 03:35:46 PM
Just to remind you all, you have 10 more hours to buy Incent at the 10k/BTC price, after which it will fall to 9k/BTC. www.incentloyalty.com/register

So far we have raised over 700 BTC and almost 280,000 Waves, putting us in striking distance of the $500,000 mark.

waves has 5% bonus, but what is the rate of waves/btc or waves/incent? It is not fixed, so the price is instant calculated from bittrex? Correct me if i am wrong.

The price is calculated according to Brave New Coin's index: http://bravenewcoin.com/waves#Trading-Pairs

Hello everybody!

I like this project and I am on my way to invest today few BTC. I exchanged them for WAVES so I can get an additional 5% bonus from the ICO.

I am only concerned with the security on the web site, since there is no 2FA right now. I think if it is quite necessary for investors to feel safe. Smiley

Good luck with the ICO!

Hey tcherkin - thank you and yes, 2FA will be implemented before withdrawals are enabled. It's on Pete's to-do list!
974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Incent: The first universal, merchant-backed loyalty platform on: October 04, 2016, 02:14:06 PM
Hey folks, nice project though.

One question. Is it ok to withdrawal $btc from exchange to Incent ICO BTC address or MUST I own the BTC wallet private key (e.g. trezor hw wallet, bitcoin core wallet)?

Thanks for details

Hi tobsnn!
You can deposit BTC from anywhere, exchange or own wallet. But you MUST deposit Waves from your own wallet.
If you're in any doubt, try a small test tx first.

I would have skipped this ICO.
But I'm glad I invested in the 1st round thanks to this great article (german)

Good move, thank you!

No 2FA at ico site. Any plans to implement it?

Yes, before withdrawals.
978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Incent: The first universal, merchant-backed loyalty platform on: October 04, 2016, 08:20:49 AM
The waves API is now online so you should be able to see your Waves balances now. Just give the site a few seconds to update. Remember that this in active development, so do pop into Slack to ask questions at any time! When you register an address, it shouldn't matter whether or not is has the '1W' at the beginning.
Thanks Pete!
979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Incent: The first universal, merchant-backed loyalty platform on: October 03, 2016, 06:43:42 PM

Also about this:

Quote
20 to 49 BTC = 15,000 Incent / BTC (0.00006667 BTC/Incent)
  >50 BTC = 24,000 Incent / BTC (0.00004167 BTC/Incent)

If I invest over 50 btc I basically x2.4 amount what people are currently buying for, so the smaller buyers (under 20 btc) basically just buying incent for x2.4 the price from the >50 btc buyers. That does not sound fair at all, actually that is absurd.

Also 50% of the total supply is held for costs and what not, maybe I'm missing something or didn't understand but along with the ICO funds you're going to hold 50% of the supply.

If that is all right, why in the hell would I want to invest? This does seem like a well planned future pump/dump.

You've misunderstood in both cases.

The deal at the top was for pre-ICO Angel investors, who typically bring much more than money to the table. This deal no longer stands now that ICO has started. There were a limited number of Angel investors, and they don't have a lot of incentive to dump.

The 50% Reserve is not held for 'costs'. Please read the detailed posts about this Reserve. It's not for the team, or anyone else. It's to maintain orderly payments to customers. Fiat funds sent from merchants take 2-3 days to arrive. Obviously we cannot wait that long before we remit Incent to the customer. Thus the Reserve is required for the project to work properly, and in return, Incent holders will receive regular 'dividend' payments from BitScan's marketmaking.

Really, minimal reading would have made this clear.
