961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would ICOs do without bitcointalk? on: July 20, 2018, 08:34:44 AM
Where would ICOs be today without bitcointalk forum? What will they do if the forum shuts down for some odd reason?
From the posts I read (I stated before in a post, I am more of a reader than a poster, so pardon my mistakes), it seems that all ICOs are breathing bitcointalk.org.
It's probably one of the last active and alive forum in the world and the essence of all Initial Coin Offerings that are launching every day. They are way too many, and too many think they can raise tons of money to fund their ideas easily. As a matter of fact, this forum is the only real catapult for ICOs along with its community. The rest looks like a morning dense fog that tests your driving skills to the max... people(investors) get crashed a lot lately in the ICOs ERA driving through the foggy projects that kids invent every day to get some "lambo" cash.

So the big question, where will ICOs stand till 2020? 99% scam | 0.5% legit projects | 0.5% worthless legit projects; Will bitcointalk still alow ICOs to be posted/promoted/pumped in here?

There are some websites similiar to bitcointalk such as altcointalk.org, but the community is not big as bitcointalk ofcourse.
I think if bitcointalk is shutdown, people will move to another website that can promoted their ICO
962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who are the bounty managers and what is their job? on: July 20, 2018, 08:23:03 AM
I read many time about bounty managers here. Who are they, why projects need of their services?

Bounty manager is a person who managed and checked the work result of the bounty hunters
The project need this because if there no bounty manager, the bounty will be such a chaos
963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After a Bad Sell on: July 19, 2018, 12:02:35 PM
So this happened to me twice this week, first I sold Bitcoin Cash and the next day, it started booming and has not up considerably and still going strong, then I sold Golem and boom it goes too.

What do you do in such situations? When you finally sell for a small profit after a long wait but then you realize that you missed on big profit with you bad timing.
How do you deal with this? Any tips to minimize this or overcome after such bad timing decisions?

It happened to me everytime, but i know the consequence, i usually not seeing my sold coins anymore for like a month after i sell it, so i can sleep with no regret Cheesy
964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How long do we have to wait? on: July 19, 2018, 11:43:26 AM
As i have observed, after a bounty campaign finishes, the distribution of reward tokens/stakes took place after the completion of all the ICO's crowdsales. And remind you, that took months. Some ICO's even have to wait for their soft cap to be reached before giving us our dues. And in addition to that, we still have to wait for a couple of months more for those tokens to be listed in exchanges.
Why do "we"(bounty participants) have to wait that long to finally enjoy the fruit of our labor? Don't these ICO's have some starting funds to begin with? Or were they totally dependent to incoming investors for funds?

Why don't you wait for free money ? and also after the CIO crowdsale, you can move to another ICO and start doing bounty again.
So, you don't need to wait the tokens to be listed

966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much time does it take to make it your full time job? on: July 19, 2018, 10:12:57 AM
When it comes to crypto, we all come here with different experience, for someone it is a hobby, someone has turned it into a really good income)). But what if you are a newbie and already want to make it a full time job? What kind of projects do you get involved in and what is the % of bounty & social media  to other work done (if you work 6 hours a day), so in total you can start from a stable medium level salary?Surely it depends on what you are good in,but generally is it very hard to change normal office lifestyle to emotional crypto days living or not? Also take into account scamming, failures and losses.  Wink

scamming, failures and losses is usual thing in crypto, we just can become more careful
Also i have a friend that joined 60 bounties at one time but the reward is just 30% from it because most are scams and no price when enter the market
967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How i hold my tokens on: July 18, 2018, 03:18:39 PM
Hy all,

we are in a great month and I m sure great things will happen.

I want to share with you how I hold my tokens. Previously I always falls victims, now wen I hold the price will be low and wen sell the price will high. But I have finally discovered on how to hold; I loose my gain after Which I will regret.
Now to start; 1. I monitor my tokens In my wallets and in market
2. I monitor my trades on my best exchange.
3. I sell wen market increases
4. I buy wen market is lower in the same token. E.g if per Eloncity is .09 I will sell some parts and wen is below .09 to .04 I will buy it again.
Including in btc and any other altcoin that is how I does, I think it will help you too. That is why I have decided to share with you although many knows this process but they have been greedy about and don't ready to share with Friends.

Please I want to see the sir.members and legendary's opinion i also appreciate if you support me with smerits.

You should learn more about trading on tradingview.com , there you can see many analysis from crypto expert and you can learn from there before you enter a market
And also you have to just hodl your coin if you are newbie at trading
968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of investor are you? on: July 17, 2018, 03:55:37 PM
So what kind of an investor are you?

The Noob: Just started out.  Heard about crypto from a family member, colleague or friend.  Had to get help getting an account on an exchange (probably started out with coinbase) and how to set up a wallet.  Was really scared so put in a couple hundred dollars.  Desperately reading articles and watching youtube videos to wrap you head around it all.

The Satoshi: Been in crypto for years. You are probably mining and running a masternode.  Have a hero or legendary account in bitcointalk (real, not bought).   You think Ripple is the evil Dark Lord of the Sith. And I'm guessing...you have a btc shirt that you are wearing right now?

The FOMO: Jumped in after you saw a news report talking about the crazy rise of crypto.  Started investing based off of youtube pumpers or shillers.  Joined a pump and dump group.  Loves ICOs.  Constantly looking for coins that are under a dollar.  Has severe panic attacks when coinmarketcap is in the red.

The HODLER: You have 50% of your portfolio in either btc or eth.  Your other assets include a privacy coin, a "3rd generation blockchain coin" (iota, nano, etc.), a new smart contract coin, an exchange coin (bnb, kucoin, coss, etc.) and...am I missing any other ones? You hop on the roflcopter when people come to bitcointalk and scream, "OH NOEESSSS! The market is down!)

The Day Trader: Every free moment you are checking exchanges and cmc. You barely research the coin you are trading, you only care about the short term trading history.  Binance is your go to exchange.  You make several trades throughout the day.  You are a constant ball of raging stress.

The Freebie: You have 5 bitcointalk accounts running signature campaigns.  You have a twitter bot.  You constantly input the word "airdrop" into search engines.  You joined crowdholding.  You have so many random coins you lost track of them all.

I'm the "buy high sell low" type Cheesy
Always doing this since 1st time i joined trading crypto and never get luck of any trading move lol
969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto work for you? on: July 17, 2018, 03:42:05 PM
What works for Mr A, might not work for Mr B. You need to discover your spot in life. That crypto doesn't work for you, does not mean it is bad or that it will crash.
I have heard and read about some people who left crypto because of one unforeseen circumstance or the other.
Cryptocurrency can be very interesting, most especially for those who understand the principles behind it.
There are different areas of crypto you can explore. Learn more about it. If none works for you (of which i believe one will definitely work for you), try to look for another cool spot in life that will work perfectly well for you.

Not really work for me, but i work for it.
Unless youre mining with your own rig, or cloud mining, that the real definition of "crypto work for you"
970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why should signature bounty be given the highest pool? on: July 17, 2018, 03:20:38 PM
When i initially joined bounty campaign, i didn't agree to the fact that signature campaign should be given a higher percentage in the bounty pool, especially when it has a relatively fewer participants compared to blog and social media. But i have now come to the realization that, signature campaign is the best form of advertisement for every ico. It helps to advertise the project to its target population. Almost every member on this forum is a potential crypto investor. Even bounty hunters can invest in their own small ways. Social media campaign has the potential of spreading the project to wider audience but not everyone they reach out to would be interested in investing in crypto. If we are talking about bounty campaign which ensures value for money, then i think its signature campaign. Friends what do you also think?

It's simply because i account can only join 1 signature bounty at one time and also the task is more than any type of bounty.
So, it's normal that signature bounty gives the best amount of reward
971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are they any real Crypto traders left here? on: July 17, 2018, 03:03:16 PM
It looks like most of the members here are poor bounty hunters, are they any real Crypto traders here?

Are the traders is not allowed to be a bounty hunters ?
I'm doing both, as a bounty hunters it doesn't mean i just sell the tokens and pay out.
I invest, and also trade daily
972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do you think we'll reach January 2018 market cap again? on: July 16, 2018, 04:20:55 PM
On January 2018 the market cap crossed the $800 bln, when will it happen again?

Why not ?
I'm sure it will go more since bitcoin future is really bright.
And many new investors coming to cryptocurrency
973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still invest on ICO ? on: July 16, 2018, 03:39:08 PM
Guys ,

Do you still believe on ICO or invest ICO even do a lot is scam.

https://www.ccn.com/81-of-icos-are-scams-u-s-losing-token-sale-market-share-report/

Why not ? not all ICOs are scam. There are still many trusted ICO that has a very good project and lot of supports from people.
And the funny thing is the replies before me saying not want to invest anymore at ICO because those are scams, but they're using signature campaign promoting ICO.
OMG I wanna cry in laugh XD
974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which currency you peffer in July 2018 on: July 16, 2018, 02:26:25 PM
The title says it all.. which currency you prefer for the month of july?

Bitcoin will reach it's bullish this month i think, so.. holding bitcoin is the best way and safest way.
I also prefer ETH since this coin is very good we have no doubt
975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I give up now? on: July 14, 2018, 03:07:41 PM
It's better to earn real tokens, not fake ones as most of these ICO's are scams and they promise in any method to scam people. I joined so many Airdrops, bounties, but only 2 to 3 paid me and they were in less price. I wasted my time by promoting them on Social media sites.
I suggest you to discover much, but after all these also they don't pay anything for us.

there's nothing to lose on bounty and airdrops.
We just do a little thing and we get paid.. this is the best way to earn money in my life..
So, if you found a scam bounties, just let it flow and don't blame the project but blame yourself why you joined it.
976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greed and crypto !! on: July 14, 2018, 03:00:35 PM
I feel that i never have enough coins. To day i just bought another batch with Icon (ICX) i am not only bullish on ICX but wish i had more of WAN,VEN,ONT,NAV,OMG and EOS.

Do you guys feel the same thirst/hunger to buy/add more fiat to the crypto world. And when is enough ?

Because of the long downtreand we have been withness to now. Do i start to be positive to what i see right now. And want to take a loan in the bank 50k to buy more of the coins that i have mantion in this thread. The plan is to make 2-3x and sell some and pay back the loan. I know this sounds crazy to most of you and i know it is.

Positive and negative comments are all welcome in this thread. Thanks

Yes ofcourse, if we saw many potential coins we always want to buy more and more with our greedy brain.
But this is not good at all if we want to be a professional trader, trader have to be super patient with money management and risk management.
977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Average time for a bounty project on: July 14, 2018, 10:24:11 AM
Today there are many different bounty projects. Time for projects is also different. According to you, how many time the most appropriate for a bounty project?

From the beginning until the ICO sale i think it's around 6-8 months depends on their project itself.
But i usually just join for 1-2 month except if i found a really good ICO i will join it from the beginning till the end like right now
978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH, Dash and Ripple which to invest in? on: July 14, 2018, 10:17:06 AM
ETH, Dash and Ripple which to invest in,
Which has more potential and make a good profit?

ETH is far better than those 2.
Dash and ripple marketcap is down far since many new better coins, but new coins can't replace ETH
979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm taking a Bounty project. Can you advise? on: July 14, 2018, 09:49:22 AM
I am involved in the Eloncity project. This is a global clean energy project with the help of blockchain. What makes me trust this project is that it works with CMT and ABT. I also participated in this project in the past and received good results. So I think Eloncity will also succeed. So what do you think about this project? Are you participating in their Bounty campaign?

read the whitepapers, find out about their teams, joins their social media.
From there you can find out by yourself whether this project is good or not
980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: For Bounty Hunters (Do You Have Time to Read the ICO Whitepaper? on: July 14, 2018, 09:41:13 AM
First of all let me ask if What is a Whitepaper? The answer according to Howtotoken.com:

By the power of example, you know what it is. A written document to better understand the technical project behind an ICO. But the whitepaper isn’t restricted to ICOs or crypto-space. A whitepaper is a document long used in business.

According to Wikipedia:

“A white paper is an authoritative report or guide that informs readers concisely about a complex issue and presents the issuing body’s philosophy on the matter. It is meant to help readers understand an issue, solve a problem, or make a decision.”

Which describes its use the best. It “helps readers understand”, is an informational document meant to deliver you the best information without the PR and marketing filter of the promotional content we get to find on websites, flyers, or advertisement

Lets go back to the question, Do you still have time to read the whitepaper before entering into a bounty campaign of certain ICO? I am very curious why a lot of bounty hunters regrets that they did their best to promote a project thru social media campaign and end up being scam.

Is reading the Whitepaper helps a bounty hunter avoid being scam by scam projects?
Do you really read the Whitepaper or just relying on referral of other bounty hunters?

Ofcourse this is the first thing i saw before i'm joining a bounty, especially signature campaign.
Because you won't get hurt when you already work for months but the reward is so small or even scam
