981  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BitAffNet] How we're the #1 Bitcoin Mining Pool In The World (proof inside) on: January 25, 2015, 11:41:24 PM
Unfortunately it's a cycle that is self perpetuating.  Payments are delayed, for whatever reason.  Then people stop mining the pool because they are not getting paid.  That makes it harder to find blocks to catch up for those owed from previous days.
I stick with BAN when I can.  But my miners are hosted at three locations and I get bills throughout the month.  So I don't like to go more than a day or so without getting paid.
I will say the pool has always paid it's debts and I know of no one who was short changed.  But unlike other pools, consistency in payments is not their thing.

I agree and unfortunately that is why I left. The pool operator made a point that this is just what he wanted to avoid when he started the pool. timely payments were a top priority so the pool was not holding your coins. I can understand a snafu once in a while but things have only gotten worse but I may move back if the problems can get solved.

bitmain again increased the price of S5.
maybe they should price them in BTC if thay want to track BTC price ?

Was thinking the same thing. Was waiting for BTC to go up before ordering and I guess it didn't matter.

Long time since last payment... 0% fee PPS not works on long term and always ends with this kind of problem, time to switch to another pool?

still no payout!
I'm thinking of switching to....

It does get frustrating... I really believe the pool OP is not out to scam anyone but if the payments keep getting paid later and later and more people leave the pool the blocks will come longer and longer....with payments coming later and later....

Works fine, from North America, started a few days ago, got paid the next day, my miners' hashrate is more stable than on antpool. PPS is better for the miners than any other payout system. I don't know of any one else who does PPS, everyone else is on PPLN, which protects the pool operator at the expense of individual miners.

BAN does PPS with zero pool fee but the payments are slow so I use this pool instead as I rather pay the 4% fee and know I am getting paid in a timely fashion. Also like you said I like that my hash rate is more stable here as well.

How do you gain bonus? Mine is currently 0%

They may have changed it to zero. I just looked at my dashboard and it shows zero as well now. It was 10% for a long time and was changed to 1% but maybe with the trouble the pool is having with doing payouts in a timely fashion they figured to drop the 1% as well.

Can someone look over these numbers please?

I upped the frequency to 375 and the temp is still low. I checked the cables on the PSU and S5 and nothing is hot. Hell not even warm. I have everything in an unheated garage and the ambient temp is -3ºC right now.

Are the HW errors, rejects, and discards normal?

Can I keep boosting the frequency up until I hit a temp of 40-50ºC?

Thanks
Looks great! I didn't notice higher H/W rate till I took mine to 400 so I had it sitting at the next freq below 400 and it preformed great!

I received my payment in full (which the pool has always paid) a couple of hours ago. Good Luck

I have been a supporter of this pool for a while now, but I have moved my miners and will be mining elsewhere. Not saying I will not come back at sometime later but the pool is not doing what it said it wanted to do from the start as far as "not wanting to be a bank" and not hold on to my coins. I don't think its fair for the miners to be waiting for blocks to confirm before they get paid or waiting for the pool to find a block before they can get paid, that is not how the pool was to be run. I know the pool had problems with coins getting stole but enough time has passed that this should have had something done to fix it. I also don't like the way my miners show such a low hash rate here compared to other pools. I am not trying to stir anything up just felt I needed to explain why I have moved my miners. I will now wait for my next payment. I wish the pool and miners here the best of luck.

Payouts 339486, 339552 and 339586 sent

Kano, I didn't receive any of these; my wallet is 1LjZmRdMV7Mk88bx7oMMWgKWaFF8yG1qtp. Could you please check on it?

The payments still appear to be unconfirmed.

M

They all 3 show confirmed in my Coinbase wallet

Is shipping free now? I just tried to set a order using UPS to the U.S. and it shows zero for shipping? If so I will order

Just checked... still need to pay to Australia

I am thinking it's fixed now. I had refresh it a couple of times before posting about it but now I just refreshed again and shipping is showing up. So maybe it's fixed. I would have ordered if the shipping had been free

My payment in full just came thru.

Mine as well,, also they added the ability to hard set your worker difficulty by username.workername##2048

I can now see on the miner end that the diffs are locked where I want them, the website front end still shows the diff wrong, but thats fine its will likely correct in time.

I had been bugging them about maybe adding that feature, I honestly didn't expect it so fast.

BAN, is three thumbs up in my book.

That is great news... I will set mine as well.

This is only one rig, the others also found a couple

That's interesting.... Maybe you need to solo mine 😜

Is it possible to find blocks for backup pool,
with 0 accepted shares on backup pool?

I don't see how?  Not sure which back up pool it is but it must have something messed up?

make 2 orders and you are almost done
no you can buy 1 or 2 or 3  but if I do an order of 2 and an order of 1 I lose on shipping.

Shipping for 3 s-5's is  96 via fedex.

Shipping for 2 s-5's is 76 shipping for 1 s-5 is 46 or 122 if I break up the order into 1 + 2.

this is a no brainer for them to fix.

Or if anyone wants 3x   30 usd coupons for 1x  45 dollar coupon please pm me.

Phil get ahold of strato as he had a large amount of $45 coupons
