981  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: LTC Gear- Buy before nov 3 or after? on: October 31, 2014, 02:39:36 PM
Quick note is remember that payouts are taken at a snapshot. So if you buy a few hours before payouts run you might not qualify for it and be placed in the next week's payout.
982  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAWMiners Client Services Review on: October 31, 2014, 01:36:37 AM
With GAWMiners, we are negative payout proof.

Soon the Hashcoin will be released, and their technical support team answer in less than 24h.

The pool rates are now controlled by GAW.

You may see the pools here at www.poolpicker.eu to select your most favorable Hashlet after.

The rates of the Zen Hashlet has drop and to give the customers some profit back, the Zen Hashlets are now able to mine Hashpoints that will have the possibility, as the Hashlet Prime, to exchange the Hashpoints for Hashcoins.

There is ''Haters'' for every big company. I joined them 2 month ago we were 20k customers, now we are about 60-80k.

Don't miss the boat, its not too late to be part of a great team.

Overall the support and PR are great for GAW however they have some MAJOR flaws. First a lot of the promises they give fall flat. For example primes being able to mine SHA was promised many many weeks ago. Another fiasco was the whole prime buyback promises. First they say you can sell it for 80% of what you paid. Then they change it to 80% - what you mined then they just flatout did not offer any buyback and let it open in the market (which they flip flopped over whether it would be in the market or not). A lot of value that is seen in GAW is speculative. So now we can mine hashpoints but guess what they have no value as of yet. WE used to be able to buy hashlets with it but that was turned off.  Of course there are many positive things about the company such as support, accommodation for lower pool payouts with hashpoint mining, constant updates and communication, listening to user feedback, etc but I feel the positives have been said over and over again compared to the negatives. And no I am not a hater but I am certainly not blinded to the negatives.
983  Economy / Digital goods / Re: amazon.com giftcard for sale with escrow accepted on: October 29, 2014, 10:56:38 AM
i think the main problem is everyone in the past few days said they won these cards from a "contest". That puts most people in a very skeptical situation since how many cards were there in these contests. You will have to be more specific.
984  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: October 28, 2014, 09:00:23 PM
How long does it take for a payment to clear on there? I sent mine hours ago, transaction in the blockchain, etc., but nothing.

What do you mean by clear. The payment will clear after a set number of confirmations but I believe they might have some manual portion to giving you the contract. It usually will be in your account within 12-24 hours after you initiate the transaction but usually sooner.
985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New version 1.1.4 on: October 28, 2014, 06:11:46 PM
Is there any significant difference of mining performance between 5400rpm hd and ssd if they are of the same capacity?

In theory yes but currently no. The bottleneck is not the hard drive or SSD speed its more of the RAM and CPU when plotting and mining (although with mining the requirements are significantly lower). Usb 2 may see less performance but a usb3 hard drive or any internal hard drive will never be the bottleneck
986  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] LTCGear shares - 0.0013 BTC / 0.128 LTC a share - instant transfer on: October 26, 2014, 02:00:17 PM
With the Scrypt shares can we point them to any pool...such as clevermining?

No you do not get to access them. You simply use the shares and pick how you want to get paid (btc, ftc, ltc, etc). Its a simple display almost like a stock where you get paid dividends but do not see behind the operations
987  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain technologies Limited is now a disappointment on: October 23, 2014, 01:31:03 PM
Bitmain will forever have contributed something great to bitcoin mining. It ended the whole preorder for asic miners. They set the standard for no preorders on miners and waiting months (although now they did do a preorder with their scrypt miner). Bitmain is probably still one of the most reliable sources for miners. As a company they are still great and fulfill orders like they say they would. ROI is different than the company operations. ROI is getting harder with any miner since the price of bitcoin went down greatly. It makes it harder when buying from Bitmain because it is harder for them as well.
988  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: AMD, Intel? on: October 23, 2014, 01:08:37 PM
Bitcoin is not big enough for either company to get involved. It was discussed many times even when bitcoin was at $1000. I think back then it was 2-3% of people use bitcoin which is nothing for these companies.
989  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: SELLING MY MINERS LOCALLY ONLY ??? WHY ??? ARE THEY MADE IN MY COUNTRY NOOOOOOO on: October 22, 2014, 01:14:43 PM
shipping is paid usually from the buyer
so this is up to the buyer to decide if its worth total expense Purchase+shipping

Some people will only ship to the same country to avoid the hassle of dealing with customs, seizured packages, etc. Also the probability of the package getting damaged or lost goes up with international. If you are talking about ebay it is easier to scam people with if you are talking on btc forums then see the first few sentences.
990  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What can you say about Cloud Mining? on: October 20, 2014, 01:06:07 PM
IS there any ROi with cloud possible ?

So far I heard is LTCgear, but still beware...

LTCgear has the best ROI potential. A lot of people have reach ROI but who knows how legit they are. I bit the bullet and bought in last week. Received my first payment without a hitch. Other cloud mining companies have a much harder time to reach ROI this includes cex, pbmining, scrypt.cc, gawminers, etc. If I had to pick another company to put my money into (which I have) it would be either Gawminers or pbmining. Pbmining is probably just as risky as ltcgear (maybe slightly less due to more realistic payouts). gawminers hashlets have been good but the payouts are consistently decreasing making it a very bad time to invest now. A lot of people over there are praying the hype they have been saying will be followed through.
991  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: October 20, 2014, 12:11:43 AM
Fact is that people do get paid, and they genuinely like it.
^ Said anyone who ever participated in a ponzi before it collapsed.

It's just sad to see the bitcoin community falling for the same scams over and over which can be easily prevented. If the everyone would just adopt the most basic standards like requiring proof of mining via a mining address then 99% of cloudmining scams could be avoided. Although I think most people already require simple proof of legitimacy, there's a never ending wave of noobs who oppose the idea.

But you're right I think I've made my point, I'll leave and let you guys enjoy your gambling. I just hope you guys are honest when spamming your referral links and don't pretend pbmining is a completely legit mining operation without massive risks for a tiny reward.

People keep saying pbmining is a ponzi. ANY operation can fail and make you lose your investment. Look at bitcoin trader. They just lost everyone's bitcoins now. Look at gox months ago. THese were all legit companies that stole peoples funds. Another person with reputable reputation was tradefortress with the whole inputs.io scam. The point is ALL investments have risks. THe greater the risk the greater the reward especially with bitcoin stuff. For example my most profitable investments were newer companies like cex when they first started. People were skeptical but there were no fees and people made a killing compared to now where its extremely hard to make a profit but its now a reputable company. I am pretty sure pbmining is legit of course no one can make an guarantees. MANY people reached ROI and there is no reason to believe more people will not
992  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW ZenCloud ZenPool Hashlet - does it really exist? ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: October 19, 2014, 10:22:40 PM
I am very surprised this morning reading ZenPool payout rate.
What is happening?

It's low and it sucks but it's still higher than nice/westhash at .00032740.

Gaw needs to get these new contracts in place asap...

Don't worry. GAW will certainly show us some good new deals. I get the impression they are working on something big again. I will wait and see what it will be this time.

I do not worry GAW has been good to us just wish they did more for us recently. Its annoying when they make announcement of exciting stuff then fail to deliver (SHA mining with primes for example was promised weeks ago). They are now teasing us with hashbase but so far that does not really excite me. All the bells and whistles are nice but if a nice ROI is not seen the bells and whistles are pointless.
993  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW ZenCloud ZenPool Hashlet - does it really exist? ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: October 18, 2014, 04:40:08 PM
so far GAW has been pretty transparent (webcasts, conferences in vegas, etc) but the main issue is the features that are suppose to hit the hashlets. We are constantly being teased with great things for primes but so far nothing substantial has been done. (SHA mining was offered weeks ago and still is not out). My personal opinion is hashlets are great and can be profitable especially if you play the market right and get good deals. The only concerning thing for me is all these announcements about things to come. I would prefer they would only announce them when they are ready or within a week or so. For example they announces the PRIME buyback for 80% then changed it to 40-what you mined and then just opened it up to the market. They need to be more concrete with their announcements. Just my 2 cents.

995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New version 1.1.3 on: October 17, 2014, 02:17:26 PM
We are still looking for people on the pool, we've got about 50, but we're looking for 3 times that at least. We are constantly adding power, and the pool has been very solid.

So... I've decided to extend my giveaway, and up the amounts, the next 25 people to Jump on the pool, have me see them in the stats submitting shares, I will send 1600 burst!

PM me with your BURST address and once I see you in the stats submitting shares, you'll be paid immediately. I would prefer if people stayed for at least a day, but it's up to you if you want to take my money and run, if you are okay with doing that, that's on you!

I participated in the previous giveaway and received the incentive quickly. I recommend the pool and have been mining on the pool ever since. Besides the one downtime the pool has been stable. hopefully more people will join this great pool. The devs of the pool seem to be really active
996  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Hashie.co - Cloud Mining from $4.51 per 10 GH [FREE MINER!] on: October 17, 2014, 01:31:05 PM
We're no longer hashing on BTCGuild (it's hardly the most optimal pool), but in case you missed it:

-Sahra

Good start but you might have wanted to leave it on the pool a bit so others could have seen it (maybe a day or at least half a day). I like how you guys have operated so far but you will have the pessimists saying it could have easily been photoshopped. If other users would have either confirmed it or taken the screenshot themselves it would give you guys more reputation. On another note keep up the great work, listening to your customers is the best way to stand out with the competition.
997  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: October 15, 2014, 11:40:11 PM
Purchased 500GH/s on Monday at around 9pm PST. Still hasn't been added on, the contract has disappeared from my page.

I emailed PBMining on Tuesday and still no response.

Well, there goes 25% of my earnings for the period -_-.

weird I purchased some gh Monday morning EST and it went through in an hour or two. Hopefully PBmining gets back to you they are usually pretty good. Did you try pming them on this forum?

I dont think anyone is trusted enough, I will just give it to a random person.

IF you want I will give a review for a vouch copy. I am a senior member with some built trust from previous transactions. If not that is fine too but make sure you pick someone who is at least a full member or more
