Good choice to leave BTC when its already dropping as we're just a fortnight away from the hard fork. Ethereum seems like a great choice but I wouldn't rely on Ripple because the devs can cause a volatility by just issuing new coins as and when they want and they will be waiting for a price rise like this one to do it.

Don't see this happening because even after the hard fork and division, BTC will still remain the father of all cryptocurrencies being the first one. Ethereum and other cryptos will make a small buffer for themselves when the hard fork happens but they can't pip BTC in the race for supremacy.

The one I have in my signature right now (SKINCOIN). It is still in ICO phase and will be rolled out in around 2 weeks. Looks very promising and I see lots of potential in the coin with respect to the esports industry through skins. There are so many platforms on offer where this can be implemented and the devs have a done a good job so far.

The current market with the addition of newer coins is very volatile which could result to more number of pump and dump coins rather than stable altcoins. With the BTC hard fork coming about in 3 weeks time, it looks like all the altcoins will take a hit from this and you can expect them to crash badly.

Hello, first of all very nice project:) The niche is just blowing up at the moment.
I own few shops that sell various virtual goods (gaming accounts, gold, providing other gaming related services).
So before investing (I will invest anyway) I have a question. As you know CSGO, TF2 skins prices varies on "blackmarket" from 55% up to 80% of Steam market price. So, lets say I implement your exchange platform to my website, will I be able to manipulate prices or it will be same for all users?
Good to see you're willing to invest in this project and I would like to answer your question though I am not officially connected with the team in any ways. CSGO/TF2/Dota2 skins indeed range from 55% to 80% in the blackmarket and by implementing SKINCOIN exchange, you can set your own price for a particular skin of what you think could be the right price. It could even be above 80% if you're sure that people will buy that skin.

First on all, you've posted on the wrong forum OP.
Secondly, this information is pretty much all over the place and is still a wild speculation. We can only wait till after the 1st of August to know the fate of the division caused due to the fork.

Now with the availability of cheap ETH, maybe more people can join in. Particularly people buying ETH with fiat. Lets just hope the decrease in Ethereum price doesn't hurt the project funding by making the already collected ETH worthess.
This could also be a bothersome thing for the team because of the continuous price drop of ETH but I'm sure it won't go too low to be called 'worthless'. Also, investors will go all out and buy more coins from the ICO when ETH prices are down to profit the most.

Its stupid if you go out there claiming that you have 200 million dollars in ETH, the whole point of cryptocurrencies is making everything from storage to transactions completely anonymous. Of course the taxmen will be on his tail all the time now since he gave his identity away and he'll be in lots of trouble in the days to come.

|
Brace yourself as more and more shitcoins are about to storm in for investors to pump and dump in. Other than this, everyone is looking forward to August 1st and on for the fork and what happens next.

Such a bad clickbait when Polo didn't even use the word 'delist'. Maintenance in no ways means delisting and the LTC team has been stepping it up lately so expect everything to be back to normalcy very soon.

I saw this coin in the earlier days and could conclude that it was another pump and dump just for the developers to earn some quick cash while pulling a quick one on its investors and trusters. It's a good thing threads like these are made to create awareness about a pretty much obvious ICO scam.

I just keep BTC for as long as I can buyout desired CSGO skins that I want to buy. Other than this, I save Bitcoin for fun without any future plans for it in mind. I just spend as I see things which are worth being spent on.

Of course ETH is a threat to BTC because not only is ETH and its blockchain better than BTC but it also has many altcoin tokens under it. ETH gained a lot of momentum on its way and not even BTC saw a rise this big during its initial years.

This is one of the main reasons Ethereum became a hit and their sales exploded. When you're making a new coin and an coin issue system, you have to be better than the old one which Ethereum successfully achieved by expanding its blockchain and carry out lots of enhancements.

Not sure if you're bashing LTC or promoting Syscoin, eitherways I've never put my money in LTC so I shouldn't be bothered here. Looking at how LTC has been going recently, I'm pretty sure it will go up steadily with time.

The ICO is doing great so far and it will just keep going as the last days of the offering is coming near. I am expecting a big investor to put their money on this project only to get multiple folds of his investment as a return once the coin lifts off!

The value of an airdropped coin mainly depends on whether the coin would be useful in its promised ways. Eyebrows will be raised if it turns out to be a hit and people will start investing in the coin and try their luck at some profits.

Its in my blood to keep going till I completely end up busting my bankroll no matter how big or how small it is. The more matches I see that I predict and win, the more losses I incur because of some marginal 'upsets' which tend to happen a lot of times in the games I gamble.

The odds were totally in favor of Pacquiao and what Horn did was completely absurd. He definitely deserves the hate he is getting from the world because of what he did and nobody saw this coming either.

To be honest, I'm not even surprised to see that number being only $55k. Its clear that more and more companies and establishments are beginning to accept Bitcoin and this is a step in the right direction for the skyrocketing prices in the coming years.
