Indeed , if we invest 600$ in Bitcoin today, it will turn into 1 Million$ when Bitcoin Price reaches 1 Million and I am confident it will reach there but when, very hard to predict correctly.

You have your numbers wrong, if Bitcoin hits a million that $600 would be closer to 10k

Doge taking BTC down with it and ETH only mildly affected. Not a good look, when a shitcoin can bring down the gold standard in the space.

Maybe the market has topped out for this cycle? I still think we are doing a 2013 cycle though, and we are in the april part of that year, we won;t get the massive dip though, just sideways.

I read so much Sci Fi in my youth that it's all a blur now, but I remember enjoying Heinleins books.

I'm reading starship troopers right now and absolutely loving it. Different to the movie of course (I loved that too mind you but for different reasons).

Offtopic, but I think rerlevant to many here:

The Hitchhiker’s Guide to Online Anonymity https://anonymousplanet.org/guide.html#understanding-some-basics-of-how-some-information-can-lead-back-to-you-and-how-to-mitigate-some

This guide is awesome, but, very long. If you care about your anonymity (and most here should) it is fantastic.

ETH and Doge recovering, BTC is not. Must make sense somehow but I don't see it.
986  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 09, 2021, 04:15:06 AM
and here is the doge dump, which for some fucking unknown reason is dragging down the BTC price a little

Elon not turning SNL into a Doge infomercial? (Though that would probably be an improvement, in truth)

perfect reason for btc to drop

God, these knock downs from the 59k level are getting tedious. I can't help but think there is some kind of concerted effort by some entity/ies to keep the price down. At the same time, promoting shit like Eth and others.

Hmm. Could be. It would have been nice to make a bunch on buying alts but looking back, I still don't see that there was any reason to get into most of them, especially Doge.

There was no reason at all to get into them.

It's not missing the gains that worrys me, and I don't care if the price of BTC goes sideways, but I resent the dominance of BTC being reduced. All these other coins are essentially centralised shit, exactly what humanity should be avoiding at all costs. Making capital gains from BTC is nice, but I realy want it to be so dominate and prolific that when governments try to fuck people over BTC is there as an immediate escape vehicle. Therefore preventing governments being able to fuck people over to begin with.

Poor Terminator. He has come at a wrong time. Bitcoin ain't cheap anymore.

Be sure to review this comment in 10 years. I promise you it will be considered cheap then.

haha, coinmarketcap is showing ETH at 3800, yeah right. That's 300 more than it actually is.

Unconfirmed transactions under 20k just now. A fair decrease compared to 1-2 weeks back.

https://mempool.space/

0.31c to get in next block

Edit: blink and you missed it though.

Actually, unconfirmed transactions are at their lowest since 8th January. Don't know if this is good or bad.

In general, the fee sizes are disgusting really.

Disgusting? in what way? One does not have to pay the massive fees, I never have myself, and they are always temporary. Sure that might mean that it takes a while for a confirmation, but they always go through in the end. If I ever do consider the fees to be out of reach I will then switch more of my transactions over to the LN.

A huge amount of doge is traded on Binance, in fact so much that the volumes there have either massivly exceeded or matched the Bitcoin USD volumes since this whole doge pump begun last month.

Does that seem a little odd to anyone or is it just me? What considering the market caps and all.

Binance coin also pumped very high (just without the volume of doge). So what's going on over there at Binance? just doesn't seem legit to me.

Yes you are right I always feared these big exchange can manipulate and even influence users buying and selling behaviors. This is happening exactly the same way they set the pattern and set trends. It's like giant social media platforms like Facebook and Yotube. One trend will be all over the platform same thing is happening here.

and what you said about BNB and DOGE looks like binance has to do something with it i remember same pump in april too when Doge rose BNB followed and at same time Bitcoin in it's lowest fifties.

Edit:

Don't forget this dirty secret of DOGE, little outdated but still valid

“Over 65% of Dogecoins are distributed among just 98 wallets across the world, while the single largest wallet holds 28% of all Dogecoins. In fact, just five wallets control 40% of the coin's supply. Essentially, around 100 people control the entire $46 billion DOGE market.” Published on yahoo finance on 19 Apr 2021

Yep something must be rotten over there at Binance, They've always seemed like a shady exchange to me.

Those wallets that hold all the doge, I wonder if any coins have moved from them? It's possible there are a lot of lost doge out there.

Edit: looks like doge will bring the whole market down with it. When ever I see it go down a little so does BTC, even though BTC has been going down as doge has gone up. People really are stupid and it seems like BTC is damned either way right now. What this says to me is that BTC is a very good buy right now (and more so if it goes lower) as it is currently oversold by stupid people.

If you are as rich as Bill Gates you can literally afford to have a new wife every day.
Unless you can REALLY find someone you can trust and likes to do all the things you like, is respectful and patient and doesn't throw a tantrum over trivial things I would go with the new wife per day option.
Premium whore rates are what? About $2000 per day or whatever?
Literally less than 1 million bucks per year.
Bill Gates wipes his ass with a million.

So that's where this picture is from..
Don't forgot to flush that T.P in the golden toilet. Grin

This whole shtcoin thing is starting to have that mid 2017 feel to it. There was a major crash after it got to a crazy level, it affected BTC somewhat but alts got creamed. These pumps aren't being driven by the institutions so how far can retail really push it? remember the flippening talk from back then, I'm sure that will be starting up soon.
400 billion cap for ETH, 100 billion for binance coin, and 70 billion for doge. Seems kind of nuts especially the speed in which they got there.
Seems like the sh*tcoin is pumping from all the hype this week for former self-proclaimed C.E.O of Doge is going to make a skit about it on SNL this weekend.
Others are saying it's because Robinhood that thieving exchange is buying it all up. Roll Eyes
Was at $0.42 last night now at $0.57.
Hmmmmm.

Hmmm, a skit on a shitty TV show. That's a solid investment reason right there. Seriously WTF is wrong with people.

yea..I wonder when and where it all ends. In coinbase lists doge soon, it might be at $1, fulfilling "the prophecy".
I am a bit amused looking at that. The other two have momentum, but it cannot last if bitcoin is not cooperating.
At least, this is my expectation. I would say that for s-tcoins, it feels more like Jan 2018 than mid 2017.
If for bitcoin it is a mid cycle correction/flat, than it will all resolve positively.

Well, if it's 2018 the cycle is over. I don't think that it is, which is why I think mid 2017 is more appropriate. Sucks either way honestly, the way a lot of these things are pumping makes the whole market look like a joke, which is not a good look.

well, if you it compare to the stock market, all internet stocks looked like a joke..that lasted from late 1997 to early 2000, quite a bit of time.
It all depends on the level of participation. Judging by some of my colleagues info sharing, quite a few now got coinbase accounts and a buying bitcoin and e-thingie (it shows), so we could be somewhere in 1998-1999 with respect to the Internet "bubble", give or take. It can continue for a while, imho. But first, there could be a dip (mildly declining coinbase price kind of predicts it).

I'm definitely thinking we dip, we can't not with this kind of crazy. I'm just hoping BTC doesn't dip too much and recovers quickly. This time without the shitcoins participation.
