I am just repeating what has already been stated, but scams are not moderated, and scammers are not banned. It is down to the individual to do their own due diligence on a potential trading partner before entering into a trade - and always use escrow when doing a trade.

If you find someone is scamming, all you can do is create a thread (and tag the account in question) so that DT members such as myself, Lauda, Lutpin and others catch it and apply a negative tag to prevent any damage, or any further damage if some has unfortunately already been done.

Again, none of this is moderated, so it literally is a community effort to expose these individuals on this forum, so we can take the only action we can - give them some Red Paint to make the account useless.

Same here markj113 - gold under spot, especially in the realms of 10%, also put me on high alert.

Great job on finding him out RMC Smiley I have tagged the fool, so no one else should fall for his scam/s now.

Archived for future reference: https://archive.fo/Okx5o

Also, tagged with a negative for selling fake gold coins.

You tried to pull this stunt on the wrong people - the users, especially on this part of the forum, are not stupid Lukey. Go pull your BS elsewhere.
986  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Cryptoimperator moon auctions on: April 25, 2017, 07:56:37 AM
I've held my tongue until now, making sure I didn't derail any of the auctions, or cause any conflict.

I have only one thing to say, and it's this:

How any of you can trust a manufacturer of loaded BTC coins after the previous drama is beyond me - but that's your choice, not mine. I'm not here to question whether FakeAccount is real or not, I'm just disappointed with members of the community that continue to support CI after what happened before. It all seems to have been forgotten. Guess I won't bother wasting my time on endeavours such as that in the future.

That's it. I won't be commenting again.

988  Economy / Goods / Re: Lukey372's Gold/Silver Bullion Shop on: April 24, 2017, 03:11:12 PM
Gold bars from manufacturers such as Perth Mint and Pamp Suisse are exempt from VAT, as long as the sender states this on the package/customs declaration. You literally need to state "Investment Grade Gold Bar - VAT Exempt" or customs will hammer the receiver with charges. I know this from experience, as I buy and sell gold as well.

Had you been in the EU or USA, I'd take you up for a 1oz bar. Australia is a no go for me due to experiences I am not going into here.

Good luck with your sales OP.

What about a Kialara 'To the Moon' raffle that includes a suite?

How are you planning on pricing these new Moon Bars when they have not even been released? I know the approximate figures that have been offered for Suites, but what about Sets? Single 100k Bars? Personally I would wait for secondary market sales (and to have these in our hands..) before planning something like this. We have no idea what a Set will sell for currently, just an approximate amount for Suites, which is a substantial amount of money - that much that some people will not be willing to pay the entry cost, whatever it may be.
992  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Interest Check] Blockchain at Berkeley Coin on: April 15, 2017, 11:24:30 AM
Just to make everything clear.

You are charging 0.11BTC for each coin, regardless of number, correct?

You stated that you will collect payment for the CoA in a few days, how much will that land on? I was under the impression the 0.11BTC included the CoA since you also stated that regardless of people getting it or not the cost would be 0.11BTC.

Thanks,

Hey Eodguy149 Smiley

I received a message from you with a link to your post, asking for payment. I never actually reserved a coin, though it appears that someone (MJ Smiley ) reserved one (#11) on my behalf. (Thanks MJ!!)

If the final price is indeed 0.11 BTC, I am happy to take this coin. If the actual cost is more (0.2 BTC ??) then I will have to cancel, and allow someone else (MJ gets first dibs since he reserved it for me) to take the coin. Please clarify the final costs of these coins, as this sentence: "I will collect payment for the COA and other provenance in a few days." has me slightly confused.

Many thanks.
993  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 2 x 2014 Kialara 100,000 Bits Originals #681 & #682 on: April 13, 2017, 01:43:33 PM

I am going to argue that this is partially due to two reasons:
1) They have a greater quantity (self-intuitive).
2) They are more often sold directly than auctioned off.

I'd like to note that I could be very well wrong on the second point, but that is what I've personally observed (it is not based on data gathering). When people try to sell their products in these waters, they often look for past trends/sales and go from there. Therefore I think that there is room for growth here by either attempting to auction them off or by targeting higher sell prices (0.55 then 0.6 etc.). Do you by any chance have more originals or is this *it* for now?

Yep, much higher quantity (around 1300) than the Silvers (250) and Golds (100). There is definitely room for an increase in value with these, I'll agree with that, but as stated in your Point 1 - the high number produced makes these pretty easy to find for sale, and the long standing pricing of ~0.5 BTC just doesn't seem to move much.

I may have a couple more stashed away Smiley But keeping them back until the Moon Bars have been released. Would like to see how their appearance affects the value of all other Kialaras. We will soon see Smiley

Once I receive the new Kialara Moon Bars, I'll stick one up for auction and see what happens Smiley
You managed to secure one?

More than 1 Smiley I have several single bars coming, as well as a 2 bar set that I will have available for sale.
994  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 2 x 2014 Kialara 100,000 Bits Originals #681 & #682 on: April 12, 2017, 01:07:59 PM
Wouldn't it be better to auction off future Kialaras (regardless of Gold, Silver, Original, et. al.)? It seems to me that none of them  come up that often, but almost all of them sell very swiftly. It seems that it is best to continually let the market decide the price for them. I'd even boldly state that the asking price 0.49 BTC was generously low.

Just a thought. See you soon. Kiss

You make a fair point there. Most Kialaras do in fact sell very quickly.

I have always valued Kialara Originals at around the 0.5 BTC mark though, and I have noticed others do the same. The rising prices of the Silver and Golds hasn't really had much of an effect on the pricing of the 2014 Original from what I have noticed, these have remained pretty static in price - unless you have a really low number. That said, I think my ask for these was very fair, as both are now sold and paid for.

Once I receive the new Kialara Moon Bars, I'll stick one up for auction and see what happens Smiley

Apologies to bonefix, you missed out I'm afraid due to not replying in time.

Do your coins come loaded?

Thanks.

I'm new to the raffle thing, I did vote "yes", and I'm curious what types of products you'd be raffling. Can you share details on some of your past raffles?

Thanks.

Here are the previous two raffles.

[The Raffle of All Raffles] 1X5BTC+4x1BTC Coins from BTCC - 448362!

[The Raffle of All Raffles II] Coinmakers Unite, BTCC Backed. 17BTC+ ROLLING!

That is correct.

Right now we have 20 votes for "Yes." so it does seem likely that we will try and make this happen in the near future.

All Btcc coins in previous raffles were loaded yes.

And yeah it does seem like Btcc have halted all sales of physicals. But I do have a backup plan in place. A kialara raffle sounds very possible right now. Including a special surprise Wink.

Mega Raffle Number 3, eh Hhampuz? Grin

I'm game. Will PM you later for some more details, and if you need any help you only have to ask Smiley

As for BTCC, it does indeed seem that sales are on hold, I am unable to order anything either... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh... Zepher's back  Cool

Hello, no mod work for this case?

Mods will not get involved in helping to resolve scams, I am sorry to say. I have tagged the guy with a negative, hopefully this will get him to respond here and resolve this issue with you. If he follows through on the deal that was agreed, I will remove the tag.

Good luck.
