I'll let the rule of 30 minimum activity slide considering you have a trade history. Good luck

Hi...I am relatively new in this forum but not new to Bitcoin and its concept. A few years back I bought a Casascius bitcoin 2011 error 2011-09-08 02:35:15 . According to the site this is the second day loading of such coins. The guy who sold it to me said he was given this coin for free at a convention on bitcoin when they were still novelty items. Not in mint condition but good. My question is.. a) what is something like this worth above the value of the loaded bitcoin market value? b) Does the value matter that this was one of the very first 100 coins made by Mike Caldwell? I also have a silver gold plated 1BTC loaded 2013-12-14 04:13:04 ....meaning this is one of the very last if not the last loaded by Mike before he said it would shut down on the 27th November. I bought this one directly from Mike and was afraid that I would not get it since he was shutting down operations. So I was lucky he came thru! Any feedback would help. Thanks Hi there, and welcome to the forum! That Casascius Error Coin will depend entirely on value. As you are a new member, you cannot yet post pictures, but please take photo's of both sides of the coin and upload them to a site such as Imgur, and post the links here - we will be able to give you more accurate information then. To answer: a) Currently, around 1 BTC extra. Depends entirely on condition. b) Yes, I would say that it being one of the first 100 would make it slightly more desirable to collectors - again, this depends entirely on condition, so pictures are needed. That 1 BTC Casascius Silver Gilt is also worth around the 2 BTC mark ungraded. Again, pictures will be required here please. Please come back with that info, and we will be happy to help further!

Up for auction is a BTCC Bundle!! This bundle includes a BTCC 0.5 BTC Titanium Coin #T00477, a BTCC Pen in Perspex Container, a BTCC "Make Bitcoin Great Again" Red Hat, and an All New BTCC Shirt! I have just the one of these shirts available for sale, and this was the only way of making it fair - giving everyone a chance by participating in this auction Bundle Comprises of:BTCC 0.5 BTC Titanium Coin in White Oyster Envelope - Serial Number T00477 BTCC Pen in Perspex Container BTCC "Make Bitcoin Great Again" Red Hat BTCC New Shirt - In Crypto We Trust - BTCC Mint - Size XL Rules:Starting bid is 0.50 BTC Bid increments are 0.005 BTC Bids can be made in the format of 'I bid 0.5 BTC, or 0.5' etc. Start time is NOWEnd Time is Sunday 14th May at 11:59:59PM GMT/19:59:59 EST . Countdown time is here. Shipping: UK is 0.005 BTC for Next Day Special Delivery. Anywhere else is 0.01 BTC for International Tracked & Signed For, or 0.02 BTC for UPS Express 24-48hr. International Tracked & Signed For usually takes 7-10 days outside the EU, but I have seen it take a month plus. I do NOT recommend this service. Further, by bidding on this auction, should you choose this option, I am not responsible for any loss should it occur. UPS may be a little more expensive at 0.01 BTC more (it actually costs me more than 0.02 BTC, so I am covering some out of my own pocket), but I take full responsibility for getting the package to your door, and it takes just 24-48hrs depending on where you are. With the value of BTC now, I really recommend choosing this option, but it is of course your choice. No sniping! Bids made within 15mins of the end of the auction extend the auction by 15mins. Payment to the address on my forum profile only: 1ZephertJThxkHih7XcaUHBkMSnvkTt5uEscrow through a mutually agreeable person is also welcome. You pay any associated fees. I reserve the right to request upfront payment from newbies and users with little to no trade history. Making a bid in this auction is restricted to users with at least 30 activity. If you are below this and wish to participate, please PM me prior to bidding or your bid will not be counted as valid. I reserve the right to reject any "dodgy" bids at my own discretion. Thanks, and good luck

I'd be interested in an auction for these as well. Not often that you come across these older LTC coins from smoothie nowadays. Desirable set with the serial being as low as it is. Good time to be selling as well IMO, though on the flip side holding onto them for a little longer may net you more as LTC goes up. Whatever you choose, good luck I'll participate in an auction if it happens.

I recently lost 0.09 BTC to a ****ing scammer. Firstly, I am sorry for your loss. Was this on this forum, or elsewhere? If it happened on the forum, please create a separate thread and use this to detail exactly what happened: What happened::
Scammers Profile Link:
Reference Link: Amount Scammed: Payment Method: Proof of Payment: PM/Chat Logs: Additional Notes:
While we won't be able to recover your money for you, we can certainly tag the user as a scammer to prevent them doing the same thing to somebody else. I understand this sucks to say the least, but consider this 0.09 BTC loss as an expensive (and at the same time relatively cheap) lesson in trusting no one. Use escrow on your deals to protect yourself in the future, and always do due diligence on those you trade with. All the best

Can confirm the same. Can also confirm that a user with the same avatar tried to sell a Kialara Silver as Lauda on the bitcoin.com forum last year.

And as the offer expires, these are now sold Thanks for the interest. Congrats on the sale. Hopefully you got a good price considering the current gold price. Thanks MJ! Yep, happy with the deal. Locking this thread now as the buyer wishes to remain anonymous.

guys i found another clipboard attack from the address 13JF5274VuNthhwKkLrYyZW73smjSYAEen please be aware from the attack as it is now spreading day by day.
Is this mobile or desktop/laptop? I would like to know how users devices are being infected, installing a dodgy app on their phone, or just clicking unsafe links on your desktop or laptop. I do know that the Google Play Store is full of apps that have malware imbedded in them, that many apps that Google cannot keep up with the removal of them as new ones keep being added. Some take weeks to be noticed/found. All I can say is be vigilant people. Currently there are a number of scams going, a current one here on the forum is the following: Being PM'd by a newbie user who says: Dear xxxxxx
I have replied to you.
[insert legit "looking" bitcointalk link*]
* this is not legit at all. If you hover over it, it does not turn green like legit links on this forum will, you will also find it redirects to a totally different site. Do NOT click on such links, and be wary of such PM's from a newbie user.

I had posted this in rpietela's self moderated thread, but deleted it as I am sure it would have been deleted anyway. So it goes here. This was uploaded by rpietela himself here. Having a $7K withdrawal limit on a balance of that size is absurd. You can easily get that increased on Poloniex to $25K by providing some form of ID, such as a drivers licence, or $100K with further docs and a phone call. I have never played this "game", but it saddens me to see good people effectively being scammed here. You have $2M in crypto on Polo. Pay your damn debts.

These seem to be doing the rounds currently. Zekoroger had control of his account taken away temporarily last week when receiving the exact same email from another newbie user.
Legit Bitcointalk links show green when you hover over them.
This is quite easy to spot if you're awake and paying attention, but it still seems to have gotten people.
Be wary - pay attention to PM's from brand new users with "non suspicious" looking links in them. Should you click the link, expect control of your account to be taken from you, plus any other nasties that could be downloading in the background.

Man oh man, you really are digging this hole deeper and deeper.
You aren't going to get Lauda removed from DT, and especially not this way.
Thanks for the neg. Should I be expecting a lawsuit too? shivers

And as the offer expires, these are now sold Thanks for the interest.

Send a message to Lauda- they might be able to help you recover those funds for a fee. Good luck.

Our correspondence thus far has not left me with the greatest confidence.. Same here, I can't believe I missed it. Congrats to Zepher on the nice pickup! Thanks digi, this was indeed a great pickup
