It's for the pure hype of it and obviously, we all know that this is money fight, anyone involved will make a lot of money in our expense, or at least those fans who are willing to pay or to be scam just to see this fight.

For sure that was really a brutal fight even Islam Makhachev will need to take a break after that bloodied cut while Dustin will really need a long vacation for sure.
He looks like a young man who can finish Perez. Perez took the short notice but this fight may just be for Tatsuro, he'd be ranking up already for a title shot if he isn't matched up against Mokaev which is more likely. I think this is when the younger fighters are going to take the place of the ones that are going up to BW. Perez will have to move up too, I don't think he ever get a 2nd chance for the TS.

Jake Paul dont need to pray, because recent Mike Tyson health issue showed that you cant beat age and at 50+ be like 20+ guys. I advice people to forget all what they have seen about Mike Tyson and look on this fight from old professional boxer vs young amateur boxer perspective. We know how hard Mike punches, how he knocks people, but current boxers are different. Training methods are different, people are different. For example, look how quick current football is, and how slow it was 30 years ago. Same adoption and difference happened with boxing. Being a heavy puncher isnt enough for today. As a proof, we dont have small heavy punchers like Mike Tyson, David Tua, Rocky Marciano, Joe Frazier in top anymore.

Hopefully, Leverkusen will be able to defend their trophy next season following the competition may be even more competitive than last season or far ez. There will be no good club that can challenge Leverkusen for the trophy except dortmund caused by i have lost my faith in munich after kompany being announced as a new coach to handle the club. Not even Bayern Munich, with their mediocre coach can prevent leverkusen to get another trophy. Leverkusen appears to remain dominant in the competition for the foreseeable future as long as xabi will always still there. I don't doubt that because no club will alter Atalanta's gameplay to beat Leverkusen last season, this kinda stupid to hear that but not even a single team that using it before. Hopefully, the bundesliga clubs can open their eyess.. I only see Dortmund as a competitor for Leverkusen in the coming season. Being able to reach the UCL final has increased trust in Dortmund's ability to play better in the future season.

Seems that it had been postponed due to Conor McGregor stating that he had problems getting to the location or some nonsensical excuse such as this. He had done this before for a presser. It is all for hype nothing more.    They aint cancelling nothing due to ticket sales being through the roof even for this press conference. Don't think people would be happy paying so much for 303 only to see Jamahal Hill fight against Carlos Ulberg. The UFC has probably used the delusion of Conor McGregor and fueled it so his fans would buy a nonsensical fight and believe that their favorite fighter would come back into the Octagon I surely don't know why they are buying this as they all know the long hiatus of McGregor he already tastes the limelight and in this fight, he is aware that he loses that limelight will be gone forever as fans are expecting him to perform well against Chandler for sure that was pretty much was what fans would want even if he doesn't win I think if he got a performance of the night just like what Dustin Poirier have done against Islam Makhachev. If there is a real injury, he would not be so smiling on the picture. And it would be useless for him to return to MMA. 3 years on a pause already, one or two years of inactivity and he could forget about serious competition. He is not Bones who comes from 2 years pause and finish top opponent in two minutes. It the fight will be truly cancelled, then I feel sorry for those who have bought tickets. Anyone wants here wants to discuss Poirier vs Makhachev fight? I've seen some stats: Makhachev tried 16 takedowns and only 5 of them were successful. That is around 30% of success. People say that this is the worst result in Makhachevs career. Does it means that Poirier TD defence has improved, or he was focused on them to much (as he has landed quite a few strikes in this fight imho). Anyway, people compare Islam and Khabib, and say that Islam is a copy or follower of Khabib. But Khabib was better. I never saw any damage on Khabibs face.
I think we can not compare the past and the present as that is not comparable at all but if we compare Khabib to Makhachev there are certain similarities but there is still a distinctive difference between the two for me Islam Makhachev is slower than how Khabib Nurmagomedov execute a more on the ground and how Dustin Poirier has said that he surely has trained with his ground game for sure his Takedown defense has improved a lot for him to be ready with Islam Makhachev as for sure the Main Event have save the entire event in my opinion, As for me Dustin Poirier's performance has given the underdog an edge and that this fight is not one-sided at least Dustin Poirier gave his all and surely he deserves that $50,000 USD bonus while Islam Makhachev got $100,000 USD. That confuses me for a long period also. For me it is obvious that Conor has no motivation or interest to fighting anymore. It is kind ambitious that are pushing him all the time. He is in a trap of his image. He can't fall flat on his face. He must keep his badass, biggest mouth, money hype image. But in his last fight we see a boring guy who is not hungry anymore. How much tickets cost for McGregor vs Chandler? I have heard that around 2k and they were sold out instantly. I would never ever pay so much to look on a fighter who isnt in his prime, isnt motivated. Instead I would better buy a licensed dvd (if there are such) with his past fight during prime.

It was not a smart idea to copy Coach Erik Spoelstra's last season's strategy because the Denver Nuggets have already got an answer to that, while that strategy will only work if Rudy Gobert is fast and nibble he can not keep up with Jokic's at all that is why it was really a terrible strategy to place all ball and let Nikola Jokic take the shot while the Timberwolves Anthony Edwards has been defended by the Denver Nuggets easily and he couldn't do his thing and they can not also put their trust on Edwards if he can not do anything while in this position Coach Malone did very well and I think his experience with the championship has finally gotten a good grip over him. |

He's doing good tactics where he just let it flow in the first half then pushed all his limits in the second half and so far so good with this strategy for they even got another win tonight and increased their chance to win this series as well. on the other hand, the Pacers still lost some options in the last quarter and they panicked when the Knicks were in full attack mode, they did not seem to have any idea what to do in that situation which choked them despite the highest lead in the first half. If they don't exert all effort to continue their dominance throughout the game in their next game, then they can say goodbye to their dream NBA championships this year.
What I think is that right now Tyrese Haliburton is not 100% although he did great with this 2nd game he is just pushing very hard and if he is not the game-maker he is pushing too hard right now but the New York Knicks right now is having a breeze with their team play OG Anunoby, Donte DiVincenzo, and Jalen Brunson is doing great with their scoring while Josh Hart and Isaiah Hartenstein are doing a great job with the defense and providing some extra score for the team, while the Indiana Pacers if they can not make this work they will not have any chance at all, While I think that the Pacers still have a chance of getting a win and that if the New York Knicks strategy crumbles that is the time the Indiana Pacers could get a win. I definitely did not see Wolves going up 2-0 against Nuggets AT ALL! That is seriously incredible, this Anthony Edwards dude is doing way too much, like way more than I could ever imagine, and I am not just talking about offense, he is great there of course, but he is great at defense as well.
I can see the comparisons to MJ to be fair, not about talent or level but about the playstyle that they had on their early years. I am not saying Wolves will win the title, but I think it looks quite obvious that we are going to end up with seeing them do quite well, and maybe even have that chance. Celtics look like they do not have much competition at east this season, it would require a big upset for them to not be at the finals, and I think they may even have a chance to win the whole thing.
There are many who are saying that the resemblance is uncanny to the GOAT and many are saying that the 2nd coming of MJ is here in the form of Anthony Edwards from their appearance to their play style and how they are getting good vibes in the court it is just that great while for sure the success of the Minnesota Timberwolves is not just because of Anthony Edwards alone he surely has the support of Karl-Anthony Towns, Naz Reid, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and even Mike Conley Jr. for sure. |

Very interesting, I hadn't seen his speech yet, I hadn't paid attention. But it is very interesting that he is a ranked fighter, if he manages to maintain his pace in all his next fights, as was the case in this last one, he could easily be a top 3 or top 5 fighter. The UFC only stands to gain both competitively and financially.

To be honst, I don't understand why fans want to see McGregor fights. He is not a fighter anymore, he is retired, good old days are gone, does it bring them pleasure to see how once great fighter loses every time? He wants to become Tony Ferguson V2.
I am more confused actually why some fans still want to see Conor McGregor fight inside the octagon I rather see Jose Aldo and even Derrick Lewis inside the octagon than Conor McGregor but for sure Conor McGregor is the hype king and we can not take it out on him as many people want to see his antics and because of that he is beloved by his fans it could be negative for people like us but some people Conor McGregor is a definition of a not boring fighter for them. Havent seen Lewis for a while. Last thing we have discussed here is him cutting weight, being slim and loosing power. That was probably year ago. Lewis isnt showing great results lately. Somehow he still manages to keep record for most KOes in UFC, but parallel he looses his fights. He and Nascimento are on the bottom of the top. Previously, when Lewis fought, people were fond to see his fights. But now, like I've said, UFC are in trap after UFC 299-300 events, because it is hard to keep card on same level. People want more, bigger, better, names. But a lot of people consider latest events as boring I thought he had already quit and wanted to retire but again he has a fighter soul ready to take on any challenge after that Fiasco he did against Jailton Almeida by not moving and not retaliating against Jailton Almeida's position for sure there is a good reason behind that because we all know he doesn't want to gas out because of Jailton Almeida's pressure from the ground but it was one of the boring fights where both don't really do anything other than staying down, which fans don't wanted to see, for me I don't want to see that fight again. ^ Nascimento isn't really that good so this match up could end up like the one vs Marcos De Lima. Watch the replay if you could find it... Lewis did a flying knee. And his losses are vs tough guys except for the Spivak one which was sketchy. But still no shame in losing to guys like Gane, Pav and Almeida. The Tuivasa one was kinda sketchy too but that guy hits like a truck. Yep! This could be a walk in the park for Derrick Lewis and Rodrigo Nascimento is not that special to me he doesn't have that strong punching power, and I don't see him having much ground game or some takedown defense for sure this fight could also become a brawl and Derrick Lewis will be the lethal one inside the octagon if these two meet, but I think Derrick Lewis could think this through and could make up with a fast knock out, but I will still do some little research for this fight to make my final analysis.
They were impressed by Aldo's last fight. If it isn't so much, an Aldo vs Conor 2 will make loads for Dana after Chandler's fight. This time they will give their audience a whole 3 rounds of exchange.
Derick is almost 40 and with a series of losses but he is the fave of the bookies while Nascimento seems perfectly capable of giving Derrick a hard time with his grappling. Not to mention he is younger. But Derrick is hard to submit. Hope to see a KO.
For sure a lot of fans that want that fight means a lot of money that fight will rack up for Jose Aldo needs to increase his weight as this is going to be for Conor McGregor again, as McGregor now has a different weight than before if Jose Aldo could not meet that expectation then I think McGregor VS Chandler is still a good shot, I think because of the Age of Aldo now he will have a difficult time adjusting to that weight class. |

Koln probably does not have much chance of avoiding the relegation this season. And as you said, the Bundesliga 2 is also full of strong teams. So it is going to be hard for whichever team that gets relegated to actually get the promotion again.
Mainz does still have a chance though. The problem is they are going to play against Dortmund and Wolfsburg in the next two matches that are left for them in this season. And on the other hand, the team that they are actually trying to get ahead of, union Berlin, is going to play against Koln and Freiburg in the next two matches. So it does look like Mainz is going to find it hard to avoid relegation even though they are only one point behind Union Berlin
That is likely to happen in Koln and Darmstadt they can not recover anymore while Mainz still has a chance to take the spot again in the Bundesliga 1st division, and not only this season we will have a new champion and because Bayern Munich right now can not do a thing about it as the points difference was enormous for the Leverkusen it was 84 to Bayern Munich's 69 it was really a shame for the defending champion but this season we got a new champion in the Bundesliga. Its very hard to get back from the second german league into the first german league , there are so many teams that trying this now for years.
The most problem is that the most or many players will leave the team when you goin down into the 2 league.
For sure it is really hard for a team in the 2nd division to get into the 1st division as many teams would want to get into the 1st division and if a team would likely get regulated then that team will need to get back into the hardship once again, but I really feel sorry for the Bayern Munich but for me it is good that we have a new Champion team but learning the truth that Bayern Munich is pretty much not the defending champion next season. |

Agreed with you about Pantoja's performance as many had said Erceg won that fight. Especially when that huge elbow landed and produced significant damage to Pantoja's forehead.
He would of won if he didn't so many takedowns in the final round and just stayed dragged the rest of the round on the feet because Alexandre was so evasive from scrambling on the ground.
Watched it again and see what all those MMA so called experts were talking about analyzing this fight.
For a 10th ranked fighter Steve Erceg held his own and is still basically a green hat in the UFC with just as many fights alot of fighters who have been in the organization for a longtime don't get the chance to debut on a Main Event card.
It was really shady picking Steve Erceg they could have picked Kai Kara-France or Muhammad Mokaev but have gone with a Ranked 10th fighter for sure it was all hand-picked but it was wrong to hand-picked for them because Erceg has shown great promise and I could say from watching his performance he got a bright future on the UFC even if he can not become a champion as I think Muhammad Mokaev could take that position he could be in the higher rank for sure now I doubt the legitimacy of the UFC 301 I really think it was meant for Mexican people's fan service. Like what the analysis said about Jonathan Martinez feeling too much respect for Aldo, that should be minimized and we can see his frustration when the fight ended. He badly wants that win but he must stay aggressive. He got caught with a big hook in the temple and that wobbled him and his feet went weak. Well, it's not that bad to lose against the Hall of Famer Jose Aldo, he will just need to get back up.
Aldo's boxing definitely improved. I never thought about that, but his stance shows that he has a powerful punch now and it actually showed. Just that one hook made Martinez's eyebrow bleed and it proves that Aldo ain't joking when he said he is good at boxing now. Great fight. I loved it.
I was really shocked and impressed with Jose Aldo what did there definitely is an improvement in his boxing and striking and I was really ashamed for not seeing it I haven't looked even further at what he is capable of now and maybe because I was busy for certain weeks and away on the forum that I haven't got any news about what is happening to the UFC well, it was a family trip so yeah, but then after seeing Jose Aldo now I think he have improved but still doubting if he can really take on the belt.
Yes, few people really believed in Aldo and he came back with everything and showed that he is still a great fighter. But I don't think he will remain or at least fight sporadically. I don't believe he's a regular ranked fighter in the UFC.
