Just by comparing their MMA records, it appears Spivac does have the advantage but it's not what the bookmakers are seeing. Gane is their favorite which I agree also despite how humiliating his performance with against Jones. Gane will still be using his reach advantage and he is still faster in my belief.
Fiorot has impressive KO power for a woman but I bet Namajunas will still submit her. She must have found it amusing to see Zhang whom she had beaten twice now hold the belt she won and defended many times. I think she is up to getting it from Zhang for the 3rd time.

Another sad day for Kuro and the team. They've won 1 game but that's not enough. I think they have to plan well the next TI, TI13. And from there, they need to get prepared for the minors and majors that will have DPC points and they should qualify from there. That is because if they're going to go through the qualifiers, this is the tough way unlike through the DPC points, they've got all year round to acquire not unless Valve changes this system.
They have been in the decline for the past few years. They are trying hard but the competition in WEU is really hard so earning DPC points is tough. I do think their roster is not already enough for them to qualify for TI. Kuroky is not the same Kuroky that championed in TI before. His mechanical skills cannot compete with the young players anymore. He is still very strong in strategy so maybe he could retire and just be a coach. He should let the younger players take his spot in the team. It’s really painful but Ceb is already just enjoying the so his has no hard feelings when he lose. OG current core players is not phenomenal unlike Ana and Topson during their prime when the dominate TI.
Both Kuroky and Ceb are just enjoying Dota2. I believe they doesn’t care much any more whether they win or lose. As a fan of both OG and Nigma, I’m already happy just to watch them still competing on top tournaments.

I think they will experiment with the combination of their current roster and find out which starter will produce the best result. Personally, I think it is best if CP3 comes out from the bench giving Steph his rest. CP3 is a good leader and floor general, so even with the secondary unit, he can still work wonders. But I am also interested to see CP3 and Steph both on the floor. As they stated, Steph can play off the ball and his constant movement on the court will confuse the opponents. While CP3 runs the floor, he can easily find a good assist to Steph. The Warriors already have good ball rotation, it will be pushed to another level with CP3 on the floor. But if you look at it, Warriors had like Draymond Green, Looney and their recent addition in Saric to play the big center position. Only Looney though plays that spot and so if they wanted to have another center, Blake might not be a good fit even if he will be sign for a one-year contract.
Warriors should get a real center, 7'0 just like what they had in the past in their championship team to make it a complete roster. If I'm not mistaken, there are still a lot of good centers around that they can choose from, not a wash up player like Blake Griffin (no offense to his fans).
I wonder if this will work. That will put the average age of the Warriors older. And with age, the plays will be slower. I do not think it will be good for the Warriors to go slower pace. If they want a true center, they should get younger centers. Call me old fashioned but I liked the old nba with these superstars carrying the team alone. On the other hand, CP3 at his current old age would be perfect for Warriors. I would like to see him there and he can win a championship in his last years. How many years he has left anyways? I'm surprised to see Entity edge out Nigma with a reverse sweep win and Nigma looked underwhelming after game 1. In the lower bracket series, I got Nigma and OG in a parlay @2.84 to sweep against their opponents. There's a big gap between these teams, and a 2-0 win should be the minimum against these underdogs if they plan to improve and potentially go on a deep run.  Nigma matches are complete stump. It is either they stump their opponents, or they get stumped. Unfortunately, they are now eliminated from the qualifiers. We will not see Kuroky play for TI this year. And unfortunately for your bet as well, they lost so you also lost your bet. Though your OG bet is looking good. OG is destroying the Ancient Tribe. They have dominated the first map right from the draft and the lanes. They have snowballed and are now in a comfortable 17K gold lead. I do not think Ancient Alliance will be able to turn this around. They drafted very poorly and now OG is punishing them for that. I want them to be better on the next map though. Noticed the qualifiers for TI happening earlier today with Team Secret up against OG. It was a fairly short match ending in a 2:0 result for Team Secret as @passwordnow has mentioned above.
Today, SEA and WEU matches are all for the lower bracket. However, with SEA, they're done for today and some teams were already eliminated from their TI dream in this qualifier. And currently, Nigma is just 1 loss away to be out of this qualifier against Alliance. As [A] has taken the first game. And after this match, it's going to be OG and Ancient Tribe. SEA games are done early because they are ahead in the time zone. The game normally starts very early so most of us, especially those in EST time zone, will not be able to watch them. Nigma Galaxy has just been eliminated by Alliance. They were able to force a 3rd map but at the end they were crushed by Alliance. In is sad that Kuroky will not be able to play in TI this year. If I am not mistaken, he was not able to play last year as well. I think Kuroky should start thinking of retiring. He is not helping his team anymore, and maybe, he is holding them down.
Next up is OG vs Ancient Tribe. Hopefully, OG will be able to win this series. I hate to see 2 legendary players eliminated on the same day, Kuroky and Ceb. |

Importand point - not every fighter that is released from UFC is a bad fighter. Sometimes fighters cant came to agreement about the contract. Mousasi or Demetrious Johnson for example. I will speak for myself. I dont watch Bellator, KSW, PFL or One events from beginning to an end. I dont watch UFC events fully either. But, thanks to notblox1 reminders (post with event), I watch tournament reviews on youtube, and if I got interested in a fight, I watch it completely. What can you expect from the coach? His plays is so predictable and the way he release his statement doesn't motivate his team. He really need to step down since almost all Filipino fans want him to step down as he didn't bring anything good to the national team. Hope he realize that and will not be a thick face to continue his self on the team since they can still get the same result. Next game is Italy but if they continue to use the predictable plays of their coach and rely only on Clarkson offense provably we can all agree that they don't have a chance to beat Italy.
I do not expect them to beat Italy. I think I saw a post in social media coming from the coach that "Italy is Italy." and they are focusing on Dominican Republic and Angola. If that is the case, then they did not prepare for Italy. So, I am assuming that it is already a lost even before the game even started. The mindset of the coach is very negative and there is too much politics in Philippine basketball. The result is a backwards basketball system. Still, kudos to the players of the Philippines team. They are still giving it all in the court and we can see it in the close 2 games. I have to watch the replay of the game. I did not saw the booing when I was watching it live. I was not surprised though; it is common sentiments that the coach is holding back the team. Anyway, today we finally got our first mayor upset of the tournament with Japan beating Finland. I have learned that this was the first time ever Japan beat a European team in an official game.
And they way this game played out was crazy. Finland was up by 15/16 points with 12 minutes to play, needless to say they have been an around 12 point favourite to win.
And they Japan came back and won by 10, what an amazing comeback.
That was an amazing win unfortunately I was not able to witness it. I think Japan is the only Asian country to win in the tournament yet. With that win also, they have a higher chance to qualify to Olympics. There is only 1 slot for Asian region in the Olympics so it is very important for the Japanese that they got that win. |

My top WEU teams are Quest and Secret, albeit the former's chances somewhat lower since there are far better teams than them in this region.
Team Secret is not the same team a year ago. They are not that strong, and they seem to falter every time. Though they were able to drop OG and sweep them earlier, I am still not convinced they will be consistent. Even with Armel on the team now, they did not play that much together to have a strong chemistry. I think it the competition gets tougher; they will falter again. This might be the first time we will not see Puppey in TI. He was able to dodge that last year when they qualified through LCQ but it might be inevitable this year. We will see if they can get pass Entity in the next round. They will face each other in 2 days for the upper bracket semifinals. Western Europe Qualifier will start tomorrow. This is a packed region so two slots are available for TI. It will be interesting who will win the slots since there are too many strong teams in this region. Below is the matches for tomorrow.
Finally the main highlights for the qualifiers. Betting on two top teams on division 2, Im pretty confident with Lvl Up taking 2-0 but Nigma on the other hand is pretty much a biased bet for me. I watched their last game on the Betboom online qualifiers and I think both of these two teams fit in perfectly on mid tier list for division 1 so yeah I think both are going to win today  Unfortunately, Entity and Luna Galaxy have other plans for them. They dropped both your bet, Level Up and Nigma Galaxy to the lower bracket. They were good in their last tournament but I guess they are not good enough for the top team in WEU. The first time Max and Zombie fought it was like they agreed to fight on 2 legs, it was just that Max hit Zombie harder while they were exhausted. In this 2nd fight, Zombie might just take Max down to win. Just maybe.
Max Holloway just showed his respect and admiration for the Korean Zombie and he showed that he is the superior fighter in this fight and a great defense for Max Holloway in this fight the Korean Zombie has gone into Zombie mode 1 last time in this fight and showed that he can do this 1 last time Max Holloway surely lets out a counter for the Korean Zombie for sure in that last round where the Zombie is throwing a Flurry, he is throwing a left while falling down, for sure Max Holloway adjusted in this fight against the Korean Zombie while the Zombie doesn't Max Holloway and now feinting and faking his punch and dodging the Zombie's punch that was the adjustment that Max Holloway has done, and when the Zombie falls down he didn't follow up with punches showing mercy to the Legendary Korean Zombie I don't really see a takedown, but for sure I have seen a great admiration of Max Holloway for the Korean Zombie, |

The Eastern Europe Qualifier seems to be easy for Virtus Pro, there's not that much competition for them there. It's only NaVi that have put stain on their record for beating them once.
But majority of their matches have been a sweep and in finals, it's 3-0 for them against One Move. Seems easy.

Congratulations to them, they really dominated that region. It is good to see that they are back in TI.
South America is about to end their Regional Qualifiers as well. It is now the Lower Bracket Semifinals between Thunder Awaken and Mad Kings. Mad Kings got the first win on the first map of their series. It was a long game because Thunder Awaken was able to give good defense and Mad Kings cannot attack the high ground. The second map will be interesting if Thunder Awaken is able to tie the series. On the Lower Bracket finals, Acatsuki is already waiting. Acatsuki was dropped to lower bracket by Keyd Stars yesterday. Keyd Stars are already qualified for TI. Another slot is available for the winner of the Lower Bracket finals.
Western Europe Qualifier will start tomorrow. This is a packed region so two slots are available for TI. It will be interesting who will win the slots since there are too many strong teams in this region. Below is the matches for tomorrow.  |

Yeah, Philippines performed well and though Gilas lost, nothing to be ashamed as they left everything they got in the court last night and let us if they can bring the same intensity against Angola tomorrow.
If they bring the same intensity in the court against Angola, they have a chance to get a win tomorrow. And maybe, rotate the players better. Jordan Clarkson is good scorer, but we see him falter later in the game because he is already exhausted. All the 12 Gilas members are good players, if they rotate them properly, they can give Jordan Clarkson the needed rest. For the article I read and noise on social media many Filipino basketball fans doesn't like the current coach because his system use is outdated and it really show how inconsistent he is in creating crucial decision that's why they always left behind by their opponents. Lets hope that their lose to Dominican republic will be their wake up call to create more better plays and decision especially on crucial minutes. They there full of talents but they are just been wasted because their coaching staff doesn't know how to use them they just let Clarkson get tired and receive more fouls then we see how bad the result it turns for them.
In fairness to the coaches of Gilas, they did research and created good strategies to counter the bigs of Dominican Republic. If you watched the game, you can see KAT was not getting easy shots and Edu was limiting his touches. That is why the game was just a close game. The coach just faltered on properly rotating his players to give his main men rest. Anyway, the fans cannot do anything about who will be placed to coach the national team. There is just too much politics in Philippine basketball that it is already limiting the potential of the players. I'm cheering for the Philippines to secure a victory against Angola, although they are now heavily favored.
We have to. Everyone is cheering for them in group A. Despite that it's not really going to be an easy way, 2 more games and the next one will define if there's still a chance or none although the last match is against Italy and it's like a hands-up match for the Gilas. This isn't the Gilas that we used to know, despite of being belittled and having a little chance to get on. We've seen how the team cope up against Dominican Republic which have been thought that will stomped the team easily but no. Angola for tomorrow and then Italy on Tuesday. Many are hoping that by tomorrow, they could get a win against them but on Tuesday, it's like that the majority are no longer optimistic. Even the head coach said that they cannot defeat Italy. They already given up even before the fight even started. That is why I do not like this coach, he does not uplift his players and he got too much politics going on. Gilas best bet should have been winning against Dominican Republic and Angola so we can move on to the next round. But since we lost to Dominican Republic, Gilas should win the next two games to move on to the next round. Indeed, the Pilipinas have a good roster and yet coach Chot Reyes, their coach, cannot utilize them all to make a much better play and just like what he had done to the team the other day, it was evident that he's not the right man for the job. Even the Filipino fans knew that there are others who is more deserving but they were not given a chance to have another coach.
There are lots of window at that time that he could've pull out a good move as a coach but it's like he don't see it or sometimes, he's already late before he realized it. Even the challenge calls wasn't utilized well.
