The import has the freedom to take that last shot, but if I were the coach, I would have design another play, I mean, when the import takes the last shot, that's way predictable, they should have give that to Paul Lee as he has a high 3 point percentage, and he is also a clutch player as well.
He could have passed the ball to Paul Lee under the basket to force an OT but I guess the import is the best player on the court, so it is his duty to take the shot. Not because he is the best player, he should be the one taking the last shot. It should still be the play that will be followed, if it was not a game plan, then for sure that does not help them and if the import does not follow the game plan, even how good he is, he will be a problem in the long run. IMO, despite seeing lots of great import lately, I still believe that Brownlee will win the Best Import Award again. But they did follow the plan. They switched him to a smaller defender. Paul Lee was just an option since he got free for a split second under the basket. Either way, it is not a bad decision to take the shot. He is the best player of Magnolia on the court and who would you rather take the last shot? It is just their first game and they can still improve a lot in the conference. IMO, despite seeing lots of great import lately, I still believe that Brownlee will win the Best Import Award again.
Too early to tell, we haven't seen them all play yet. It is a biased opinion because the Gin won the last conference. There is a different set of imports at this conference. At least let them play half their matches first. |

Blacklist just lost easily to Talon by 0-2. Those 3 games with Geek including two 70+ minutes games must be very exhausting for them. And it is difficult to easily move on from those games and refresh within 3 hours.
Poor Blacklist, there were a lot of times that they can take the slot for the Lima majors, 2nd and 3rd slot but yet, they've got nothing. Poor team, too hyped by their fans but all they get is nothing. Yeah, they might be exhausted but that's the consequence of losing first with Geek and then being pressured with the slot that they should have taken. I thought that Talon wouldn't make it as the chance is more likely with Blacklist than them but yeah, points system and tie breakers. Had the same thought too since Blacklist is performing very well early in this DPC round. Actually, I really thought they should have won against Geek and many time they had the opportunity to take the win but they did not. That is why I am thinking it is a throw. Anyway, they lost a chance for LIma Major and important DPC points. DPC points are very important and every bit of them matters if they want to be eligible for TI this year. Talon did well. From a poor start to being able to qualify for Lima. Congrats to them for taking the 3rd spot for Lima Major. |

but why can Tundra lose against GG?  only because of Puck and Lina. very disappointing. Lina is the most contested hero this DPC season. It has a very high win rate and is very strong in this Meta. I would understand they lost because of lina but what I do not understand is why they let them get it in the first place. They are out drafted and outplayed, plain and simple. What a game between Blacklist and Geek earlier. I thought Geek are aiming for quick victories but it was Blacklist that always dominates the late games. Not until Geek dragged it into very long extended minutes and were patiently waiting for Blacklist to commit a single mistake.
Now it is Blacklist versus Talon for SEA's last slot to Lima major. I felt bad for Blacklist who already beat Talon before but now they might feel the exhaustion from those overextended games earlier and their mindsets are affected by the heartbreaking defeats at the hands of Geek. 3 hours of rest might not be enough but hopefully, they can steal the remaining 2 maps.
Blacklist had no chance again Talon as they lost a quick 2-0 and also they ruined 2 of my bets and I will never bet on Kuku and his team no matter what  . Talon on the other side , they played their style with fast lanes and mid rotation and gave Blacklist no chance. I also think Blacklist have lost it mentally vs Geek and it all went down from there... It is weak performance today by Blacklist. They should have won their 3rd map against Geek since it is almost Mega creeps. They got 2 rosh and still failed to push the ancient and win the game. I do not know if they are too afraid of Naga or they are taking him too lightly in the late game. Anyway, they lost against Geek in 2 70+minutes game and too exhausted to contest Talon. |

What a throw by blacklist. Game 3 was so boring. Blacklist already has the lead and almost mega creeps and they cannot close the game. They stall the game and placed the Naga in a better position. They are too afraid of the Naga that pushed the game to a very late game. It is a waste of bet. Blacklist is now tied with Talon and will play later for a tie breaker for Lima Major. |

They just got AD back and they are a couple games out of the playin what are you talking about? I'm not pro Lakers but to say there is no way they would even make the playing is just straight wrong. It's games like this when you win that propel your team, or on the flip side side track you. Every game is important when playoff seedings are games apart at the end of the year. This game counts just as much as a game at the end of the year.
To be honest they are just 3 games out of 5th place in the west that's how close every team is right now in the west.
Yeah, I would not rush it too, dude just came back and he needs to get his rhythm back same with Brandon Ingram of the New Orleans Pelicans who had been on and off the court. Injuries are not something to mess with, they need that fire lit back again and it doesn't come out 1-3 games, worse, 5 games. But we know AD once the focus of him returned he could score 30-50 points and that's when we could say he is back with an expectation of a winning streak for the Lakers team. I would not even worry about the seeding, the battle is so close from the top 3-13. Anytime another team could be on the playoff seed or there's always a chance to win the play in tournament. That is true. AD has been away from the game for a few months, and it will take a few games to take away the rust from his play and get the groove back. And there is an adjustment period with their new acquisition as well, Rui Hachimura. The Possibility is always there and by the thing, on how Lebron James is playing right now he is like at his prime I think this is because of his goal, he is really eager in getting that and right now he is 158 points away from Kareem Abdul Jabbar's All-time NBA points leader, and I think this is motivating Lebron James to do what he can in getting that record, and I think for Lakers in getting Bronny James I think this will keep Lebron James in getting motivated and giving his son a championship ring, I think what Lebron James needed right now is just motivation and the Lakers will give it to him,
Well, I don't know if LeBron James is in his prime, but I have no doubt that he is living a great moment in his life, because he is going through several important moments, for example, his possible retirement (I believe that maybe in 3 or 5 years he may retire, this is not real, just my assumption), LJ is winning several records, he is also having a not very good time in the Lakers (although he is scoring in several games), and also I have no doubt that he is analyzing and preparing (or at least helping) Bronny to enter the NBA, depending on the situation I have no doubt that LJ will also intend to do everything to get Bryce into the NBA in the future (which in my opinion has had a great evolution recently). Alright moving to WEU, Team Secret is joining the party of division 2 teams.
Team Secrets current roster is a far cry from what they have a few months ago in TI. They did not even win a map against Nigma. It is a shame that they let go of Nisha, who are working perfectly for them. Now, Team Liquid is very much enjoying the service of Nisha. It is sure that they've made a downgrade instead of an upgrade but they have no choice. It was not the team's choice to let him go but Nisha's choice to find another opportunity somewhere else and he has seen it with Team Liquid and they did well for qualifying to Lima major. Team Liquid now is no doubt stronger with Nisha's addition to the roster. Now as for Team Secret, I wouldn't be surprised if they'll have an announcement that Boom's trial period to their team has expired and will look for another mid laner. I am wondering who they will pick up next. I am sure they can come out of Division 2 in the next round but it is important who will replace Boom. It is hard to earn DPC if they replace their roster because of the new rule that will deduct dpc points when substituting a player. I do not know if it will apply to the case of Team Secret though.

Brooklyn Nets won against the New York Knicks.
This is a big one for them, win as much as possible on every game until KD is back. Kyrie Irving is consistent in his offensive contribution to the team.
With 30+ points for their last 6 games, he is always the top scorer for the team.
Another Nets player that's in the spotlight is Nic Claxton. He is racking up those rebounds and scoring if he has the chance in the painted area. A very big help when they needed it the most. He registered a double-double for his last 4 games.
Los Angeles Clippers also won their games against the Atlanta Hawks.
That is the 5th winning streak of the Clippers, they are looking pretty well coming back from the lead created by the Hawks in the first half.
Now the question is, will Kawhi play a back-to-back game because they have a game tomorrow? Just to continue the streak.
Yeah that is the big question for Clippers, if they want to maintain their winning streak though, perhaps it's better to have Kahwi play here. He is really instrumental in their run so they want to continue that momentum against a struggling Cavs next. And I do agree that is a big win by the Nets against their rivals. At least, Joe Harris and Royce O'Neal step up in this game with no Ben Simmons,  . Irving huge 32 points to lead the Nets as they needed this win badly. Knowing them, they will probably rest Kawhi to keep him healthy. I think it is more important to keep Kawhi healthy than to keep the winning streak. They will be against the Cavaliers on the road so it is a hard battle for the Clippers especially if Kawhi is out. But I think they can still win against the Cavs. Both Donovan Mitchell and Kevin Love are questionable for this game. If they are out on the game, the Clippers are in good position to win the game. |

Converge manage to win the game in a scary match. LOL>. They allowed Magnolia to have a big run, Mcree their import could win the game if that last shot sink in, that was too careless for the Converge, but you can't blame them, Magnolia is such a good team so they deserve to celebrate tonight for this big win.
It was a break of the ball for magnolia getting a run late in the fourth quarter. It was careless for Converge to let Magnolia get to within a single position when they were leading 6 points in less than a minute left in the game. But kudos to Magnolia, they know how to stop converge and force turnovers. The last shot of the import of Magnolia was quite a forced shot so it would really be lucky for the team if that went in. Fortunately for Converge, the last shot did not sink in. Now the losing streak continues into 7 as they again lost to the Wizards by 10 points. They aren't performing well when Zion wasn't playing for the team and now from them being the top seeded team, they are now at the 5th seed. On the other hand, the opposing team will be having a hard time to stop you when you're team's offense is being distributed. That is how the Wizards played tonight on the road. 7 of the 9 players played are in double figures and the 2 remaining almost has it as well as they scored 8 and 9 points. Looks like the acquisition of Kendrick Nunn is a win for the team as he is playing well in his last 2 games there. I was afraid this bet will lose but I thought they will be able to break their losing skid since they are at home. They have McCollum and Ingram playing so they could carry the weight, but I guess it was not enough to beat the Wizards. They actually fallen to the 6th spot right now, behind the Mavs. |

If I'm Bollick, I might try my luck overseas and play in the B-league. I mean B-league already gave sign to him that they will get him if he will play there. More money, more experience, more challenging.
Agree with you, Bollick would make a lot of money compared to the amount he would receive even if he will get a max contract. The love of basketball and money should go together because even if you are too loyal in your team in the PBA, you will still be traded when you are less effective. That's not new already, we've seen plenty of players who are already traded and eventually lose their career. Robert Bolick is already aware of how big the difference is in terms of salary between playing locally and as an import overseas. However, it's not just the salary but the obligation and responsibility in order to maintain that big contract on foreign teams that are highly expected. Once a local player considers playing outside the country, there's a low chance for that player to return to the PBA that's why it's not easy for long-time PBA players already to just accept the offer from other countries since there are lots of "what if" here. What if got injured? What if not playing well? What if the expectations of the scout didn't meet? - might be some thoughts of those PBA players. Well then, there's a rumor that Bolick is now in Taiwan but Pido Jarencio himself clarifies that it's not true. Who knows though? 2 days to go and Bolick's contract will expire and yet nothing hear from his side. Why it takes too long to decide? Hmmmm... If he has the desire to go abroad and become an import, he should do it. He should not be hampered by the "what ifs" that you are saying because the same "what ifs" will haunt him if he stays. The pay is significantly higher, and he can earn in a few months what he earns in a year in PBA. That should put him in a good spot if he knows how to handle his finances. |

There is no doubt that Kyrie is a max contract "player", but is he a max contract "person"? I am not sure about that. You may agree with his views or not, but at the end of the day this dude has been controversial for a long time now. During that 2016 Cavs title run, I did not know he was like that, but for the past 5 years or so, he has been saying or doing things that gets bad attention. Teams do not need that, they need players that will get love from everyone. This is why he is definitely worth a max contract if we were looking at what he does on the court, but Nets still consider an alternative to this because they are not entirely sure if they want to get the bad attention he causes.
If the Nets don't give him the max contract and let him go for UFA, I believe there are still a lot of teams that will be interested in Kyrie Irving. He is controversial but at least for now, it is under control. Never heard anything controversial about him lately. That is a good sign. A lot of fans still love to see him play. I mean cp3 might not be in his pri.e but Booker and ayton are 26 and 24 years old which is the sweet spot for nba players. They are absolutely in theor prime. Problem they have is with Booker out with injury it reduces theor ability to spread the floor. Booker is the key piece to this team. They will be just fine once everyone gets back on the court.
That is true. Even when CP3 is not in his prime anymore he can still contribute a lot aside from being a floor general in the court. He is a good leader and can guide both Ayton and Booker. These two stars should carry heavier load than CP3. When they get back healthy, they are still a threat to those teams at the top of the ranking right now. The West is too close that even though they are 9th right now, they are only 2 games away from the Pelicans who are currently at #4. |

My entire parlay collapsed with Tundra collapsing against Gaimin Gladiator. I did not expect that GG will easily beat Tundra. They dominated Tundra in both maps with Quinn giving his team a perfect game. He is everywhere on the map in both games as Puck in map 1 and Lesh on map 2.
GG winning this series secured their slot to Lima major. If Entity wins against Nigma, it will be a 3-way tie with OG and Tundra for the 3rd and 4th slot for Major.
Tundra is always like this in every early DPC points tournament or Majors. They usually made all the adjustments on the late tournaments and play dominantly. GG find a decent mid laner compared before when Boom is in charge. On Nigma side, They are still performing good on follow up good performance against OG by beating Team Secret flawlessly. Entity might be a hard opponent for them but I think they will secure this fight for a chance to play in the major. They already dodge the relegation so I think they will want more for this new effective lineup. I just hope that Kuro will not throw the pick. Even if they win, they will not be able to play in Lima Major. It will be just a two-way tie for 5th and 6th if they beat Entity. But, if Entity wins against Nigma, they can force a 3-way tie breaker against OG and Tundra. Entity has bigger stake in winning this match against Nigma. So I think, it is better to bet for Entity in this match since they will give it all to force a tie breaker and hopefully get the 4th spot for Lima Major. |

Another win for NLEX, they are now 2-0. What a great start for their conference, but there's a sad news as their import was only contracted for 4 games, after that, I don't know, maybe NLEX will bring a new import. They beat the Northport, and still not Bollick playing for that team.  I think it was mentioned that NLEX is trying to make him stay but we will see in the near future if they can convince him to stay. He has a stellar performance tonight. I watched him play tonight and I think he is a good match with the locals of NLEX. Even without Bollick, Northport was able to make the game a close one. Nlex was just able to pull away from Northport mid the fourth quarter. But in the quarters before, Northport was able to stay close to Nlex. I think Northport's import is good but easily distracted and loses focus with the physicality of the game. |

Simmons' fear of shooting the ball doesn't surprise me anymore, and I highly doubt the Nets will want to take a risk and offer him a contract extension. I'd rather believe the Nets will get rid of him before his current contract expires. By the way, I'm amused by the fact that even Shaq had a better free throw percentage in his career than Simmons has this season.
Even if he doesn't shoot perimeter shots, driving to the hoop should be his bread and butter in scoring. But even that is missing now to him. If he could just shoot free throws, taking it hard to the basket could earn him a lot of free throws. I think, he is afraid even of that. Nevertheless, he can request for the max contract extension, it's just a matter of whether the Nets is going to give in to his demand.
Because him and the Nets organization has some issues in the past and so with that I have a feeling that the Nets will not give him that huge contract extension.
That is probably true but we know that Irving is still a very valuable player without his antics. And lately, we are not hearing any issues about him. He just keeps playing ball and focuses on it, I am sure other ball organization will pick him up if the Nets will drop him. The Nets are a power house, they could've become a champion if they were not bugged with injuries.
But I'm not really sure why they struggled with Harden in their roster. Not really a huge Nets fan, but this year, if they can be healthy, they'll have a good chance for the championship.
Kyrie and Durant will be enough for the Nets to go to the Finals, the current Nets roster has depth.
with how they are performing right now, I am inclined to believe the real problem was with the coach last year. Aside from the injuries, he was not able to make the team work together. Nets basketball last year was just full of iso and no teamwork. |

Taking some action with DPC WEU later tonight. Liquid vs OG. This is obviously Team Liquid's game. They are still perfect in this regions 6-0 and dropping just 1 map. While OG has lost to Nigma endangering their slot for Lima Major in the process. Tundra Esports vs Gladiators. Tundra's game is quite boring, but they are consistent in winning. The reigning TI champion will probably win over GG. Team Secret vs Team Nigma. Both teams are fighting to keep their current division and avoid relegation. Though they may be on equal footing but Team Nigma has shown better games lately. Favoring Nigma to win over team Secret at this series.  |
