921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Google don't care about Bitcoin ? on: February 25, 2016, 04:48:52 PM
I really didn't see much comments from Google (bad or good) for Bitcoin or even crypto currency in general , could someone explain the reason ?
Only thing I saw was Mike hearn (He was developer on Google) but I don't care much about what that guy thinks honestly.
922  Other / Meta / Threads related to both Bitcoin & Altcoins ? on: February 25, 2016, 07:53:06 AM
I was wondering when topics related to both Bitcoin and other alternative coins (on the same time) should belong ?
Let's say , I want to make a topic about "Bitcoin vs Altcoin" , where that should be posted ? on the Altcoin section or the Bitcoin Discussion section ?
Same for trades , If I want to sell/exchange something for both Bitcoin and Dogecoin for example ... where It should belong ? Altcoin section or "currency exchange" of Bitcoin ? , Same for digital goods and other sections . I assume bitcoin have privilege ?
923  Economy / Service Discussion / How to search for an address ? on: February 24, 2016, 04:23:26 PM
I want to search for an address to get the full one basically or at least to get the addresses that looks like it .
Let's take this address for example (It's not mine) : 1DySvmGJjrRhMpvk7q7NJA1LUTcSr195bs  , I want to find it and find similar addresses to it just by typing part of it , like "1DySv" ? Is it possible or there is a service that does that ?
924  Other / Beginners & Help / How the Blockchain works exactly ? on: February 23, 2016, 05:34:13 PM
I'm about to create a Bitcoin-related project (Decentralized) and I need some information's about everything related to the Blockchain technology (technical part mostly) . I will start and please correct me when I'm wrong and answer me when I ask a question Smiley

So basically , I know that each one of us have the Blockchain on his PC (unless you are using a Lightweight wallet) , once a transaction is made information's are added to the blockchain file (TXID , amount ,receiver , sender ) , right ?
Now what I don't understand , how I'm getting the blockchain and how other people are getting it as-well ? I mean from where the Bitcoin core is downloading it exactly ? Is there is direct link of it which I suppose there isn't  ?

If I made the transaction and information's are going to my local version of the blockchain , how the other people will get it ?  Huh It's kinda confusing when you really think of it at least this is how I see it .
I'd appreciate any deep explanation concerning this please , Project is this : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1317201.0

I decided to make it Decentralized like some people asked me since no one would trust a Centralized database , right?

Transaction delays and the demands of extensive personal information alienate some users from buying and selling Bitcoin. СoinTelegraph spoke to Robert Genito, CEO of Genitrust (which owns Wall of Coins), about private and instant BitcoinCT r:  10 trading.

The now-defunct BitInstant provided a fast, private method of trading Bitcoin, until it was shut down following the arrest of its CEO, Charlie Shrem, on money-laundering charges. Now, Wall of Coins’ Robert Genito talks about how it is still possible today to exchange Bitcoins fast and without divulging private information.
