A great website should take half a day for a mildly experienced programmer...
Ahahahahahah hah ha ahahha hahah a ahahahhha ahah ha Sorry let me compose myself and start again Ahahah ah haha ahh ah ah hah hah ha Oh dear. How long is a piece of string? Or more accurately, define 'website'. Did a 'mildly experienced programmer' throw bitcointalk.org together before lunch? And then bash out youtube.com that afternoon just for shits and giggles? Hah crudely put ... but VERY to the point ... appreciated for responding in a way i would have if i had the chance - face to face ... it seems we have highly experienced web developers - c++ developers - php developers - core engineers - stratum engineers ( and thats to name a few of the things we require ) - that seem to do nothing but spew garbage like that - but always seem to do nothing else ... not one lending a helping hand - not one bothering to give CONSTRUCTIVE criticism ... not ONE bringing forth ANY money to pay for any of these professionals ... #crysx All good. Throwaway comments like that push my buttons and I can't be bothered with politeness or subtlety. Often you just have to add "…like me, if I could be bothered." to the end of their statement for it to make sense.

Keccak and skein (and blake) are good for FPGA, don't be surprised if the profit for GPU drops quickly. A good FPGA programmer can do the miner in some days. It will be 5 time more efficient than GPU, or more.
could you give us some links to Support that Claim? last time i read about fpga there werent even worth considering, would have more luck with usb stick ascis I do chip design for them personally. Consider his statement verified. Would said FPGAs be a commercial venture or just for in-house use?

Some update on the 9 x PCI slot motherboard.
The cables provided are 6pins on both ends, but the socket along the PCI slots are all 8pins... I assume that I could use the 6pin when inserted far right. I have done odd connections like this in the past when dealing with Bitmain PSUs.
I am waiting for confirmation from vendor so that I can be sure before I power it up.
A single Delta 2400w PSU would have no problems with this board.
Question is .... what GPU was this board intended for? My guess will be 1060/1070 or RX470/480.
---
Look perfect for the msi 1070 itx Yup... I concur, 1070s has very good tdp, P106, 1060s even better I tested the older R7-370s on this board to see the spacing and seems 8 x GPUs is best config. That slot - right side - next to the CPU card will be too close to each other. Also, I think a basic aluminum open cage-frame is needed to ensure that the CPU card doesn't move around. FRONTBACKThat looks really good! Is it from Panto Tech? I can only find one with the compute blade on the end and with broadwell cpu on https://panto.en.alibaba.com A shame parallelminer have sold out of the Delta 2400W PSU now. Hopefully they can find more stock or might have to try out one of these beasts https://panto.en.alibaba.com/product/60695182300-803289429/2600W_Ethereum_Bitcoin_Miner_Power_Supply_12_GPU_For_Bitcoin_Miners_High_quality_Computer_Power_supply_For_BTC.html

You guys see that the 1070 ti is supposed to be launching later this month? I wonder if it will have the same sols/watts as all the current nvidia lineup.. either way the price per hashrate is probably going to be great at $420 and closer to 1080 specs
There is already a review on that gpu floating around, apparently the OC side of it is disabled from the factory.. That kinda worries me... Why nvidia why?! Hopefully some enterprising devs could work around the OC restriction, but given the current state of BIOS lockdown it's probably unlikely :/

Re: Trojan I download from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1479260.0 this link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1479260.0 and took from here ccminer version 1.8dev by tpruvot with X11 Evo support for windows and all my cc miners are being read as Trojan by Windows Defender..... i run the Windows Defender and quarantined.... and tried to reinstall cc miner from version of another program with no problem before.... but now all cc miners are being read as Trojan........ has anybody encountered this? I will really appreciate some help..... MANY THANKS in advance. Many miners trigger defender/antivirus software. The trustworthiness of the source is up to your best guess. That is a well known blog but who knows how carefully they vetted the binary before posting it. Personally I would only go from an official github repo if possible. Your rigs shouldn't have anything 'valuable' on them anyway. Keep wallets etc. on a secure machine, lockdown the rigs networking as much as possible and if you're really concerned wipe them once in a while and restore a trusted image.

How do you guys decide which is the better crypto to mine?
Should i mine ETH? ZCASH? How to decide?
Everyone's different. Do you want to ROI as quickly as possible? Or are you playing the long-term hold game in the hope whatever you mine will gain value? Or do you want to support a particular project because you believe in their product/philosophy/whatever? Personally I think mining whatever has good returns for efficiency and then converting into the coins you 'believe' in is a good approach. But that can be a lot of hassle. Some folks just want to set and forget.

Thanks for the help. I will try also with a 8 pin adapter, I think this could be the issue. From PICO to CPU power.... you only need to stick that 4pin male on the right-hand side of the 8pin female slot. The first 4pin female on the left-hand side is left un-used. In this case, a converter is not required. The blinking green LED at the back seems to indicate that it doesn't detect full 220-240volt current. The Deltas, as I understand works only with 220-240v current - and doesn't work for 110-120v. Mine are blinking with 240V from the wall. I just checked with ParallelMiner and the blinking green LED is normal behaviour on DPS-2400AB PSUs with rev 6,7,8 breakout boards (ie. the latest ones) and not an issue.

Does anyone know is today the day of Byzantium release on ethereum network? I read it should be released on October 9th. It should reduce blocktime from 30s to 14s (but also reduce reward from 5eth to 3eth per block). It would be increase 24% from current state...
23% to be exact. It will be deployed when block reaches 4,370,000. I see news about reducing the block time from 30s to 20s, will see. 14s it is better. But if 14s be true, 3gb 1060 may lose relevance before PoS. For how long you think rx 470 4gb will be able to mine eth? Not sure how the block time change will affect it but I believe the issue with size is actually down to the DAG size. From that the approximation is below The 3GB limit will be hit around mid-April 2018 The 4GB limit will be hit around mid-September 2019 Correction - 3gb cards will be useless by November 2018, not April as per this reddit post. 4GB cards, probably Nov 2019 or later. Do we need miner update for Byzantium?
Not that I know of - if you're mining with a pool. Solo miners must update their software. Werent there stories that 4gb cards will not be able to mine eth after march 2018? There were stories no-one would be able to mine eth after march 2018! ;-)

Are you powering one Delta per rig? I have the same board and 1 single delta can power up 12 x RX470 (modded and undervolted, slightly OCed). I suspect not enough power to the motherboard. During the first boot - get 4-5 cards working first and ensure 4G is enabled on mobo BIOS. After successful boot up with 4-5 cards, then get the remaining cards's risers inserted. Yes, one Delta per rig, I wanted to build 2 rigs of 8 Vega64, but it seems I'm stuck. For the moment I have on both rigs 1 x Vega, on one rig it's in the 16x slot and in another is on riser. Still no luck, both are not powering up. How did you connect the Delta from 12 x Rx470 rig with the Biostar MB? Also with the 160W PICO adapter? From Pico, the 4pin PCIE goes to CPU and the other cable that powers the mobo via Pico goes to the breakout board. ... Thanks for the pictures citronick:) It's the same in my case... but for some reasons it's not working. On the breakout board does it says 12,6 on each of them when you turn the delta's switch on? 12.6 on the LED is normal -- thats the voltage apparently -- dont worry about that. Can you re-seat your RAMs - and try again?Ensure that you have enough amps on your power rails too - get 1 rig to work first -- if both rigs are on same circuit. Re-seated the RAM, the same issue... The rigs are not on the same circuit. Power rails -> you mean the cable who goes into the socket from the wall? It's a 10 amps cable IS-14. I've just noticed there is a LED on the back of Delta's that is blinking green: It's ok? That's what mine do all the time. I assume it's a good thing!

bensam herp derp herp derp
You haven't pointed anything, just called me an asshole and a dumbass. So who's the asshole again? bensam herp derp herp derp I'd like to be called an asshole and dumbass where it is due, not out of the blue for no apparent reason. It only takes tiny bit of time and energy to click the quote button and say, look Gary because you said so and so you're an asshole and a dumbass. Otherwise you're just insulting me out of the blue. I'm not trying to turn the tables on anything, it is just how it happened. Please don't feed bensam. Hit ignore and carry on with 100% less troll in your life. And please don't quote him – because he'll appear in the feed's of anyone else who has ignored him. Thanks.

Hi:
I have a mining rig as follows:
6 NVIDIA GTX 1060 GPUs 6GB each Windows 10, 1703 Intel Pentium CPU G4400 @ 3300 Ghz, 4GB of RAM Claymore's miner v10.0 in Ethereum solo mining with DevFee always on
I have a reported hasrate of 121MH/s, an average share rate of about 120 shares per hour, and want to increase the effective hasrate of the mining rig (by increasing the share rate I guess)
1) How can I raise the share rate? 2) I can't switch the NVIDIA cards to P0 power state. Now they are working at P2 state. Also, I think they should be in "COMPUTE ONLY MODE", but neither can I do this. I think that doing this will increase share rate. Does Claymore can do this and / or help me with such power state change and / or "COMPUTE ONLY MODE" change? 3) Increasing main RAM can increase the share rate at all? If so, how much RAM do I have to put on my system in order to have a higher share rate? What if I put 64GB of RAM on my mining rig? Does this change in RAM will "drive" to a 10 times raise in shares per hour in my mining rig?
Best regards, you have the best mining software!!!
1) Overclocking. 2) You can't set p state or set compute only mode with 1000 series cards. You can try: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3130/~/setting-power-management-mode-from-adaptive-to-maximum-performance and https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2700/~/disabling-nvidia-physx-gpu-acceleration3) No.
