I think that BIG can benefit from G2's current condition and eliminate them. But as for a score prediction, I'm favouring a 2-1 BIG victory.
i agree this could go to BIG.
G2 to win @1.7 is such poor value, they haven't showed us anything that makes us think this match is winnable, it's quite the opposite actually they were total garbage in the group stage. BIG @2 is good value, though,, individually they're not as good as G2, but as a team i believe BIG looked much better in the previous stage

anyhow, watching EG - NIP right now. I have EG @8 odds waiting to see if i can cashout some good profits from the 500casino promo, but i already covered that ticket thanks to EG's stomp in map 2  Grin

It looks like we believed in BIG's team performance too much.  Grin  I'm very surprised to see that G2 won by 2-0.

They won 16-8 and 16-7 on Vertigo and Dust2 respectively. These are very easy victories for G2 so there must be something really wrong with BIG now. I don't know how their performance can drop this much after having a great time period. I remember the match that they defeated FaZe in a big tournament which they were playing very good as a team. XANTARES was always talking about how much disciplined team BIG were about preparing various strategies for each one of their opponents. But now things are broken for them.
Big shat the bed.

Hooxie wasn't even fragging, had only like 10 kills in total in THE entire match and yet they continue to win. A very surprising scoreboard.

Big is done. They should disband already.

0 wins against Tier 1 teams lol https://i.imgur.com/Pu1aE3m.png

I guess it's time to rewatch interstellar  Cheesy I will never stop loving this movie
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RcB0RjGNG8

It's always entertaining to watch the civilization's demise on a screen, but perplexing when it's happening around you in the real world.

You will still find people, even after all this evidence, who will continue to deny climate change. These people includes the affected farmers from these countries(farmers in US will vote republicans for dumb reasons; and don't forget about ongoing Netherlands farmer protests too Smiley ). Strange world.

Climate change as defined by the world can't be blamed for the problem. If you want your farm to do well move to somewhere else, possibly within your country but far away from people whose farms are failing... the issue is with the way of life of such people not the farms. Then you can gather people whose farms are doing well to live with you & let them guide you or possibly learn their good culture and never look back at the bad. Once you produce enough food you can give to the needy ones who can't produce enough/atall and make sure they learn your new way of life.  The new way of life has to be based on the Word of GOD which basically teaches Love for the CREATOR of all things and love for humans. If you love the CREATOR, you will not misuse/abuse HIS Creations, you will do things that pleases HIM and things will go well for you.

It's anything but climate change. Thanks to our selfish and greedy lifestyle, the climate has changed for worse. The rain isn't where it's supposed to be.

Sure, way of life of first world dwellers is to be blamed since it's the CAUSE of climate change. I agree with you.
You are basically arguing for a sustainable change to our ways. The only difference between you and me being, I am not a creationist but a pragmatist.

Good luck. Just be wary(like make sure the ads aren't of phising sites, or he's not installing some malware via remote software etc)
A feedback from a forum member will help OP too(in case this offer is really genuine, which I still doubt lol).

86  Economy / Economics / Re: HSBC, Citigroup and the End of Global Banking on: August 23, 2022, 11:59:38 PM
I think that's definitely a possibility, and it will be interesting to see how the banking industry adapts in the face of this new technology. However, I don't think we're quite at the point where crypto is well suited to take over all the functions of traditional banking.

There are still a lot of areas where banks have an advantage. For example, in terms of lending, banks are still better equipped to assess and manage risk. So I it's premature to say that the end of banking is near.

It's important to remember that banks have been around for centuries and have adapted to changing markets and technologies in the past Smiley
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 23, 2022, 11:56:39 PM
Zimbabwe is a very easy team for India if Zimbabwe could have kept their wickets played a little more carefully then Zimbabwe could have reached the target of victory India played well from the start its win was for India overall the game was enjoyable
Match was so tough to win for both teams at a certain time. If Zimbabwe played without losing wickets specially the wicket of Sikandar Raza, they had good chance to win over India. Brilliant performance from India at the end of that match and finally they managed to win perfectly.

Yea, these matches are getting awfully close. Zimbawe played really well.

Maybe it's home advantage? They definitely feel more comfortable than Indian players do. I really wanted to see an upset here Sad

I am guessing this was the end of the tour? Surprised that there aren't any T20 matches
88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling schools importance on: August 23, 2022, 11:52:35 PM
Naa, schools can't help you with winning. Gambling is all about luck(when it's a fair game).

But you could surely learn a few tricks like counting cards(to give you an advantage in Blackjack) or shuffling cards tricks to give you an advantage in card games like Poker(if you are the dealer and have another guy in cahoots on the table). Just like in the movie "Rounders" lol

You don't need textbook education to beat the odds, you need street knowledge  Wink Watch Kaiji, it's a anime about gambling which says the same thing, which is: Experience and street intelligence is more relevant in gambling.

Or there's a movie with similar lesson "God of Gamblers"(with one of my favourite actor in it: Andy Lau).
89  Economy / Economics / Re: The Emerging Revolution of Cryptocurrency on: August 23, 2022, 11:43:50 PM
It is possible that the use of cash could be completely dissipated, although it would likely take many years for this to happen. To bring our aging population up to speed with the use of crypto currency, educational campaigns could be launched to ensure that everyone is aware of this new technology.
The emergence of crypto currency could be seen as a revolution of cash, as it has the potential to provide a more efficient and secure way of conducting transactions  Smiley
90  Economy / Economics / Re: Thought: how far can you go in a career without going against your principles on: August 23, 2022, 11:35:16 PM
It is true that our society often glorifies those who have reached high levels of success in their careers. This can create a lot of pressure for people who feel like they are not measuring up. It is important to remember that success is not always about how much money you make or what position you hold. There are many different paths to success and everyone has their own unique talents and abilities that they can use to achieve their goals.

It is also important to remember that success often comes at a cost. People who are successful often have to make sacrifices in order to achieve their goals. This can include sacrificing their own moral principles or beliefs. Sometimes, people have to do things that they are not comfortable with in order to get ahead.

This can be a difficult balance to strike, but it is important to remember that you should never sacrifice your own values in order to achieve success. Success is not worth sacrificing your integrity for.

If you maintain your integrity and morality, it might evoke envy in people around you and they may wish misfortune upon you. Remember Jesus? William Wallace? My favourite characters from fiction who go through a similar fate: Edmond dantes, Prince myshkin, Raskolnikov.

It's a cruel and sick world  Cheesy
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Started accepting Bitcoin as a 4th means of payment in my noddles DEPOT on: August 23, 2022, 11:27:20 PM
Well done and congrats!

I am planning to start a merchandise shop(online for now) and accept bitcoins/crypto on it. There's almost 4% fees if you accept CC/Debit cards compared to 0% if you accept cryptos(with your own solution ofc and not a third party, even then it will be 0.5% or so).

Crypto definitely solves a lot many problems when it comes to accepting payments for your business.

As a part of this community, it's only natural to accept bitcoin. If not us then who else  Wink right?
92  Local / India / Re: TDS on Cryptocurrencies [Explained] on: August 23, 2022, 11:16:57 PM

You are still liable to pay the tax even if you sell it to someone outside India. TDS doesn't increase the tax liability of the seller. It is just a mechanism to track the trade of the cryptocurrencies. But since, imposing TDS requirements on the foreign buyers is difficult so the government left them outside the purview of this section.
It would be smart decision to declare it as a payment made against export of service and just pay the usual income tax on it. Since there's no service tax/GST on inward remittances for exported services. You would still have to file GST(if you have a GST number) at 0%
93  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: August 23, 2022, 10:04:19 PM
Our Turkish representative eternal fire is playing an important match for rmr qualification. Our representative, who came here by eliminating his opponents in Round 32 and Round 16 one by one, is playing an important match for rmr with ECstatic. I honestly think that eternal fire will qualify for the rmr main qualifier by eliminating its opponent. The maps have been announced; Vertigo, dust2 and nuke. I think it was a very good choice. This way our advantage increased even more.

They are one map down, but are making a comeback in the second map.
Eternal fire is a solid team, I still remember cheering for Space Soldiers. I wish they could retain that brand name instead of Eternal fire.

los kogutos(polish pride) is showing a tough fight too. After their win against Astralis, they are definitely a serious contender now.

Happy to see Turks and Polskis making their ground.
94  Economy / Reputation / Re: STAKE.com cant give my money back on: August 23, 2022, 12:18:16 AM
Nice story.
I guess someone stole my laptop too on the nights when I lost at stake lol

I would be very surprised if Stake accepted your request for a refund. Doing so would make them look foolish and would set a precedent for many other people making false claims in the future in the hopes of getting money back.
95  Other / Archival / Re: Entrepreneurship or Office job? on: August 22, 2022, 11:59:12 PM
It's a very very very subjective question. And there can't be one right answer to this.

For some people, the appeal of being their own boss and having the freedom to set their own hours and work on their own terms is irresistible. However, entrepreneurship can be a risky proposition, and many people find themselves unable to maintain a successful business in the face of economic difficulties. On the other hand, office jobs may not offer the same level of autonomy and freedom, but they tend to be more stable and provide a regular income. Someone who has a tendency of being servile would prefer to work under a "boss" . Ultimately, the decision of which to pursue depends on the individual's preferences and priorities.

There's a third option, mix the two. Office workers should explore ways to supplement their incomes, whether through side hustles or freelancing. This is what my friend is doing. A 9 to 5 job with a profile on upwork  Wink
96  Economy / Economics / Re: Lenders and borrowers during inflation on: August 22, 2022, 11:53:44 PM
Interesting post! I agree that inflation can be beneficial for borrowers in the short term, as they are able to pay back their loans with money that is worth less than when they borrowed it. However, in the long term, inflation can be detrimental to both borrowers and lenders, as it can erode the value of the money that is being loaned and repaid.

For borrowers, this can mean that they end up paying back more than they originally borrowed, and for lenders, it can mean that they are not able to recoup the full value of the loan. Inflation can therefore be a double-edged sword, and it is important to consider both the positive and negative effects before taking out a loan.

It's only one small piece of a bigger puzzle. So if your income isn't increasing with inflation, then your locked debt loses its value for you.
97  Economy / Economics / Re: Consequences and effects of inflation | Financially and Mentally on: August 22, 2022, 11:38:30 PM
It is difficult to say how long this current period of inflation will last. However, it is important to remember that there are always ups and downs in economies and this too shall pass.

In the meantime, it is important to find ways to cope with the current situation. One way to do this is to cut back on unnecessary expenses and focus on essential needs. Another way to cope is to find ways to increase your income. Like finding ways to make extra money through side hustles(you could try trading your crypto investments on a p2p platform, there's a good margin of around 3~4% at some sites or provide your services at platform like upwork & give a couple of hours daily) .

Anyways, it is important to remember that this is not the end of the world and that things will eventually improve Smiley Tough times make tough people.

Maybe the info dialog box of "Due date" can include the fact that a contract can't be disputed until the Due Date is expired.

The screenshot I see here reflects the "Dispute" button before the seller clicks "Complete" and before the due date has expired and the info underneath explains that. Anyway, we'll think how to make it more intuitive to understand and will take your feedback into account.

My bad, I should have included the screenshot capturing the info dialog box instead

Right now it(info box) only mentions that it could be used for dispute resolution. I think it will be better to inform the users here that they can't start a dispute until after the due date has passed.

This way they can set a more appropriate date.
100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Weakness on Provably-fair system ! on: August 22, 2022, 10:54:16 PM
Your post doesn't really explain the vulnerability.

Sure, there's could be a problem with the autobet feature and it could be manipulated. You could write your own javascript in that case and randomize client seed before each roll. Problem solved.
As for normal dice bets(i.e. without site's own autobet bot), if the result can be verified later on then it's indeed fair.

I do remember a thread about Stake where OP was complaining about their autobet bot. Stake announced an unofficial reward if someone can prove it or reproduce the same event(like autobet stopping abruptly during a red streak).

Poeople really don't care about fairness anymore. For some reason they are hooked to slots now lol, the most stupid and idiotic method of gambling .-.
