1461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Elon? on: May 10, 2021, 01:35:49 PM
Anyone who knows how the cryptocurrency market works will never succumb to the general excitement due to the fact that such celebrities as Elon Musk express their opinion about a particular cryptocurrency. Is it possible to use this situation at first to make a profit. We know that such pumping of certain types of cryptocurrencies by celebrities has always ended in a price drop. This will happen to Doge as well, even though its price is now up about 10 percent daily and 28 percent weekly.
At the same time, Elon Musk raised interest in cryptocurrency quite well, and therefore I have a positive attitude towards him. The rest of the participants in this market need to have their own head on their shoulders and their opinion about the cryptocurrency.
1462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum on the rise: Sell or HODL? on: May 08, 2021, 04:35:21 PM
The rise in the price of ethereum is also due to the first successful signs of renewal. So far, we are only seeing a certain decrease in the transaction fees for this coin, however, the next stages of the ethereum network update are planned in July and October. After that, I think that in the fall we should still see a significant increase in its price, so I think that it makes no sense to sell this coin yet.
1463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Musk is going to hurt the Crypto Industry, sign this petition on: May 08, 2021, 04:07:40 PM
In my opinion, everyone is given the right to freely express their opinion about what they like and what they don't. Elon Musk does not even directly agitate anyone to buy Doge or other cryptocurrency. If people started buying Doge just because Elon Musk likes this cryptocurrency and he thinks that it is promising for growth, then this is their problem. They make this decision independently and have the right to do so.
You shouldn't write any petitions about this.
1464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: May 08, 2021, 03:49:19 PM
A centralized coin cannot be the king of a decentralized cryptocurrency, not even the king of altcoins. Ethereum will soon run out of difficulties with high transaction fees and low scaling, after which many projects will return to its platform, or, in any case, new ones will prefer ethereum.
Ethereum will update soon and will reach new heights, including price and capitalization. BNB will not be able to overtake even ethereum, and even more so it will not reach Bitcoin.
1465  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto vs Stocks on: May 07, 2021, 04:10:58 PM
One thing I would like to state here is that Stocks and crypto both have almost different intent. Most of the cryptocurrencies are created with the intent that they could be used as a medium of the transaction so what's the point of holding them as an investment? While yes it's true that some projects do create crypto with the intent of raising money but stocks are still better. Reasons are simple if you buy stocks of some company you actually get to control the company and its decisions that thing is not possible with cryptos even if you have majority coin holding with you. The company is not legally bound to listen to you. So for businesses and investments, stocks are better. But trading is a game of volatility and the crypto market is an ocean of volatility. You get the most profits while trading in a volatile market only.
Still, cryptocurrency and stocks have a lot in common. For the purpose of conducting transactions and using as a means of payment, only general purpose coins are created. However, a significant portion of the cryptocurrency is tokens. They have a lot in common with stocks, as they serve certain programs or business. Shares give you the right to control only if you own a certain percentage of their issue. Typically, this is 51 percent. If you have the same percentage of the total issued tokens, you can also influence their price movement.
However, the cryptocurrency market and the stock market are distinguished primarily by the high volatility of cryptocurrency prices and the absence of their direct regulation so far.
1466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will Quantum computing affect Bitcoin? on: May 07, 2021, 12:39:51 PM
I also read some articles about quantum computers and it would greatly affect Bitcoin or Crypto world. But I know producing a quantum computer quite expensive, very high cost. And the current quantum computer has not been widely used, and will it really affect the cryptographic money? That has not been proven. So you don't need to worry about quantum computers
Of course, quantum computers will have a big impact on the existence of cryptocurrency. An increase in computing power will have both a positive effect on its mining and a negative effect on the possibility of breaking our secret keys. However, we will definitely be able to find out when they appear enough for us to see the practical results of their capabilities.
As for their expensive cost, then with their mass production and the improvement of their production, their value will fall. I have already read that quantum computers of low power are installed in schools in China to study their principle of operation and capabilities.
1467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank offering Crypto Services!! on: May 07, 2021, 12:14:37 PM
Banks can only be interested in cryptocurrency to the extent that they can earn from using it. In fact, they will never be interested in using a decentralized cryptocurrency. Now they just see an opportunity to make money and this is the only thing that attracts them to cryptocurrency. At the same time, they will try to be intermediaries, where the risks are practically minimal. They are unlikely to invest directly in cryptocurrency. Such risks are not for the banking system.
1468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Musk NO HODL - Sells at ATH - Pockets $272M in profit - Leave HODLR's empty bag on: May 07, 2021, 11:44:53 AM
Well its a done deal, god himself has pulled the rug underneath BTC, who could have known? Who would have guessed that MUSK Not HODL??

Not bad eh? Borrrowed money, pump&dump BTC all the way, and then dump, and step back; rinse & repeat
If you expect all the big investors will be holding for a long period of time you then you will understand that in a few months time. All these institutional investment that took the market to new levels will be booking their profit whenever they choose and that is when we will see corrections.
If you want you can also follow the same path  Tongue.
Quite right. Institutional investors are also businessmen, but under the guise of signs of various organizations. They will also look for benefits and profits from investing in cryptocurrency and they are almost indifferent to its future. Therefore, the hope that they will hold bitcoins for a long time is unlikely to come true. They will sell their cryptocurrency whenever it is profitable for them. There is nothing unusual about this. Everything is according to the law of this market.
1469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be hijacked by world billionaires??? on: May 07, 2021, 11:16:13 AM
It is obvious that world billionaires are indicating interest into bitcoin of late ,for instance Elon Musk twitted that you can now purchase his Tesla cars with bitcoin, is he trying to hod bitcoins so it will be scarce then he control and dictate the price of the market or is it for the good of bitcoin that we have been expecting ,what do you think
In cryptocurrency, in my opinion, it makes no sense to try to concentrate in yourself such a quantity of a certain type of it so that you can completely control it. In this case, market participants can switch to using another cryptocurrency and the abandoned cryptocurrency can completely depreciate.
For bitcoin, this is unlikely to happen, since about 18 million bitcoins have already been issued, which have already spread around the world. Given its high price, this will be very difficult to do.
1470  Economy / Economics / Re: Money Is Political, Not Technical on: May 06, 2021, 02:53:19 PM
The money of any state has to a large extent always been a political instrument. Therefore, governments tried not to let other people's money into their territory. In the USSR, for example, there was even criminal liability for the use of the dollar and another currency on the territory of the country as a means of payment. The issue of money and its use have always been in the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and its government. After all, this is actually the key to the economy of the state, and hence its security.
1471  Local / Русский (Russian) / Re: Можно работать на bitcointalk с телефона? on: May 06, 2021, 01:38:53 PM
1472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to run ERC20 wallet on BSC network via Metamask (Tips and Tricks) on: May 06, 2021, 11:51:47 AM
After the bounty campaigns, the UniteGrowd project team obliged the ethereum wallets, which were previously provided by bounty hunters, to first link to MetaMask, and then to their website, after registering there.
I downloaded the MetaMask application, then imported my ethereum wallet into it by entering the secret key and then linked it on the UniteGrowd website.
It turns out that this wallet was not connected to the BSC network? This thread indicates how this is done, including through the Chrome browser. I followed the link, but there it works on the computer. I work from a tablet on an android. Therefore, I went into this ether wallet of the MetaMask application, clicked settings, then network and filled in the new BSC Mainnet in the table. However, in the RPC URL graph, it does not accept https: // bsc-dataseed1. binance. org /, as well as with a variant instead of 1 by 2.
Where did I go wrong?
1473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Elon Musk's goal with Dogecoin? on: May 06, 2021, 11:27:49 AM
Do you think he does it because he wants to make money? Do you think he speculates with Dogecoin?

I am wondering if he will keep tweeting about after the bull market is over.
Elon Musk periodically ranks first in terms of wealth on this planet. Therefore, it makes no sense for him to make money on his tweets in cryptocurrency. Most likely, he is just interested in watching how people react to his statements on social networks. This flatters his pride and he does it half-playing, half-joking.
Since his actions generate general interest in cryptocurrency, I take them pretty positively.
1474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: we need to talk about zcash. on: May 06, 2021, 11:08:30 AM
Zcash token is a good one in my opinion. If the features of the token have the advantage of being able to maintain the privacy and anonymity of its users like Monero and others, I am sure the demand for Zcash will be high and rise quickly.
It cannot be denied that the level of privacy and anonymity in ZCash is very high compared to the bulk of the cryptocurrency. This favorably distinguishes this coin for those who need anonymity in cryptocurrency. However, it is this feature of ZCash that is very disliked by states and their governments, and therefore some of them have already taken measures to limit it or even completely prohibit circulation. This, in my opinion, is a serious threat to the existence of this coin.
1475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I guess personal wallets are a thing of the past now. on: May 05, 2021, 07:39:19 PM
Yes, the cryptocurrency is developing very quickly and if you do not constantly observe the movements in this market, then in a short time you can see your lag in this market. Now even bounty hunters have a lot of problems due to the fact that new projects often move from one platform to another, and if you do not monitor this situation, you can stay with old wallets and already useless tokens.
There is nothing we can do about it. You need to adapt to the situation and constantly be aware of all developments in this market.
1476  Economy / Economics / Re: Could the digital Euro, Dollar or Yuan bank the unbanked? on: May 05, 2021, 07:08:58 PM
I heard on the radio the other day that those digital curencies will eliminate the need for banks. With them, the Central Banks can give aid directly to certain sectors of the population or to individuals who request it and meet certain requirements. When the Central Bank decides to give the aid, it will simply transfer the digital currency to that person's wallet and will not need an intermediary bank.

It remains to be seen whether this will be the case, as I do not see central banks doing away with traditional banking just like that.

It seems to me that you did not fully understand this news. The central bank cannot send digital currency to people and to do it without the involvement of other banks. If we are talking about the stable coins of the central banks of states (CBDC), then the banks will all the same participate here.
CBDCs will partially displace fiat currencies from circulation, but they will not completely replace them. The need for paper money will all the same exist both on the part of states and on the part of certain groups of people.
1477  Economy / Economics / Re: Enjoy comunism: Venezuela raises monthly minimum wage to $2.40 on: May 05, 2021, 06:03:04 PM
I am sure that Venezuela will be able to overcome this crisis day by day. they are starting to rise from their downturn, their leaders already know how to deal with the risks of the economic crisis that befell Venezuela. So the role and regulations that have provided an increase in wages in Venezuela become a new hope so that in the future it can be even better. there has always been a reformer from every decade of government in Venezuela. we who are outside Venezuela continue to fully support this achievement. We always hope that Venezuela will be equal with other developing countries in the future.
I don't think the situation in Venezuela will change for the better any time soon. The salary is a little over two dollars a month, it's ridiculous. But, of course, not for Venezuelans. For this salary, you can buy thirty eggs, that is, the salary provides one egg per day. Therefore, a significant part of the population of this country is simply starving there. Everything needs to be changed there.
1478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Benefited from AME Token? on: May 04, 2021, 06:05:40 PM
It sucks to be on the receiving end.  I happen to join the bounty managers campaign and read all the failed promised distribution of the person called @Gale_India (seems this is the person incharge of the distribution).  I believe smallrabbit had done his part communicating with the project owner and it isn't his fault since all the information is relayed from the project developer.  I hope bounty hunter will get their payment this time.
The payment that bounty hunters get at this time is only one week, namely week 6 and for weeks 7, 8, and 9 there has not been distribution because there are parties trying to thwart this, one of which is what you mentioned.
I also recently received a one week AME token payout in my wallet and was puzzled by this. I don't remember how many weeks they owed us, but obviously not for one. Now it is clear that it was payment for the sixth week, and has not yet been paid for the last three weeks.
Only now it is not clear: if they complained about high transaction costs, then why not pay us with one transaction for all four weeks. Indeed, with two or more transactions, the cost of sending tokens to us will increase. Or does the team no longer intend to continue to deliver on their promises?
1479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty managers should try to help bounty hunters get their rewards on: May 04, 2021, 05:46:12 PM
I think that you are wrong if you are only mentioning the manager here. Remember the manager was getting paid to run the campaign and the team will try to deceive what will be the mechanism for the distribution of reward. So many managers have been asking to escrow the reward and the manager can do nothing when the team was refusing to escrow the reward.
It's a double-edged sword.
The problem of non-payment for our agreed work done by the project development team has existed for a long time and so far it has not been practically resolved. Sometimes the transfer of tokens to the bounty pool manager does not even help, which as a reward should be paid to bounty hunters after the bounty campaign.
For example, the Bintex Futures team transferred their BNTX tokens to the Bounty detective manager, and after the end of the bounty changed their tokens to others and refused to send them to the manager. Therefore, the work of the bounty hunters was never rewarded.
This problem should be solved by state regulation of this type of activity.
1480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ether (ETH) Surges to Over $ 3.2K on: May 04, 2021, 04:13:39 PM
eth has indeed represent itself as the king of alts, price keeps going up with very little correction inbetween, if it keeps going this way, 4k in few days is very doable, i can't believe eth will go this high, am slightly feeling bad for not taking the bold step on eth when it was below 1k, now i get why @op thinks bsc and bnb is good alternative, because it is possible bnb can reach this level in near future,
are we going to witness the eth season soon!

No other altcoins beats Ethereum and that is what I have realized looking at the market today and watching Ethereum keep on soaring high started last night. So yeah, i would have to believe that this month is totally an altcoin season well because aside fron ETH other altcoins are doing good too. Currently, ethereum was in a $3,392 exchange rate to be exact. And i have this gut feeling that we will going to welcome a new ATH of ethereum amounting to $4k👌.
Today I saw the ethereum price of $ 3503 in the CoinMarketCap table. However, after some time this price dropped slightly. However, this is a good bid for the subsequent rise in the price of this coin. Moreover, its capitalization has also grown to more than $ 400 billion, as well as the level of dominance in the cryptocurrency market to 17.7 percent. This is against the background of the fact that the rise in the price of bitcoin has actually stopped, and the level of its dominance has fallen to a record low of 45.5 percent.
What is happening now in the cryptocurrency market gives hope for further good price growth of altcoins. In my opinion, it will be much better for the market if the entire market grows and there is no such obvious bias towards Bitcoin. Otherwise, states may become hostile to cryptocurrency and regulate it more stringently.
