2101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins for bounty hunters on: August 25, 2020, 01:34:23 PM
Right now, the Altcoinstalks forum is running a 1Xbit ad signature campaign where the pay-off in stablecoin seems to be USDT. Up to 30 coins per week. However, they do not conduct ICOs and do not issue their own token. There is only a signature campaign with an avatar and a regular ad text under our posts. Moreover, only 21 participants of the three highest ranks were recruited.
I have seen something like this several times.
With regular ICOs, paying bounty hunters in stablecoins isn't profitable. To prevent the bounty hunters from immediately lowering the price of their new tokens, ICO teams began to pay their tokens in monthly installments or after a certain time.
2102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can be the reasons for this exponential growth of #DeFi? on: August 25, 2020, 06:08:31 AM
Despite a lot of skepticism about DeFi projects, I see them as a good prospect, as they offer real financial services to participants in this market. The emergence of various civil transactions on blockchain technology and using smart contracts solves issues that were previously in the hands of banks. Now DeFi began to really compete with banks, because loan, credit, and deposit agreements have ceased to be the privilege of banks.
2103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH still going higher as our anticipatiion on: August 25, 2020, 05:44:22 AM
looking at the ethereum chart it looks like we will see real prices from ethereum, so I think eth will remain strong and eth will remain in the ideal trend pump path this year.
In recent days, the price of ethereum has dropped slightly, with many complaining about the high gas charges when moving ethereum and its tokens. This problem has now been resolved, as the ethereum team has created a second-tier OMG network to support USDT transactions and this has reduced the load on the general ethereum network. At the same time, the payment for gas decreased by 70 percent. This should be an additional incentive for the price of this coin to rise.
2104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget bounties and Airdrops on: August 23, 2020, 07:58:11 AM
In my opinion, Participating in bounties and airdrops is not a bad choice, as long as it can still provide benefits, i will always do my job with pleasure. There are so many ways to profit in the blockchain or cryptocurrency industry, and we must be equipped with the knowledge and skills to do something new, because without knowledge and skill everything we do will be in vain.
Of course, bounty and airdrops are never too bad, regardless of the downturn and the influence of scammers and the rapid growth of projects, bounty and airdrops may still allow participants to receive a reward relatively worthy of the time they have put in the project, sometimes there will be scams but every job will have such risks. Although this field has much better work than bounty and airdrop but as you said, it needs too much knowledge with high expertise while bounty and airdrop only need relative knowledge and read new information every day
Recently, I don't even see a significant number of rogue teams among new ICO projects. In my opinion, the participants of both the forum and the market as a whole have already learned to distinguish a fraudulent and even useless project from a promising one. Although these problems are still enough. However, cryptocurrency is developing rapidly and there are still enough new ideas for new ICO projects.
Although participation in bounty ICO campaigns has ceased to be attractive in terms of earnings, it provides an opportunity for communication, obtaining additional knowledge and information, that is, it still makes it possible to combine the useful with the pleasant.
2105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons Why am I adding as many Ethereum bags as possible? on: August 23, 2020, 07:32:45 AM
Over the past four days, we have seen a slight decline in prices in the cryptocurrency market: today the price of bitcoin fell to $ 11,597, and ethereum to $ 391. Given that there is only one week left until the end of August, it is unlikely that we will already see a good price increase for ethereum. However, I agree that now you need to buy this coin, because, taking into account the expected improvements in it, it will grow in price in the future.
The last month ethereum has already shown good price growth, outstripping even the growth of bitcoin.
2106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Defi hypes is it a bubble or real indicator of market rebound on: August 21, 2020, 02:23:40 PM
DEFI is a new ICOs for now. Soon around it will end and then defi will be dead
Useless and useless projects and the cryptocurrency they created are dying. DeFi projects provide people with real and in-demand services, many of which were previously considered banking services. This already deserves respect for such projects. If these services turn out to be of high quality, then DeFi projects will only grow stronger and develop over time.
I do not see any reason for their departure from the cryptocurrency market yet.
2107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hello everyone! Do you still have confidence in altcoin? on: August 21, 2020, 02:07:26 PM
The higher the risk the higher the profits, that's altcoins for you, we are all here to make profits even if some of us are developers, its still about money making, altcoins have the fastest road to ROI than Bitcoin but also timing is very important, you can make hell of a profit from Bitcoin, for example those who buy in March @ 3600$
Altcoins are different, just like people are. You cannot evaluate all altcoins at once. They are now developing very well and a vivid example of this is the now popular DeFi projects.
Investing in altcoins is associated with great risk, however, the profit from them is much higher than from well-known coins.
2108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee Has Left His Own Privacy Asset Project on: August 21, 2020, 01:40:41 PM
All the projects shilled by John McAfee usually end up with sad stories. Initially it pumps then FUD sets it along the line, leading to massive dump. GHOST 👻 is no exception of his shilled shitcoins, anyone investing so much in any coin based on hype should rethink. Hyped coins are for cashout only in my opinion.
He only promotes shitcoins in this market. In 2018 I saw a lot of bullshit projects promoted by him, and in the end those projects died and turned into scams. Nobs is an example, I lost a lot of money on this project and I swear I will never be interested in the projects that he fomo
It's good that I successfully sold GHOST tokens some time ago. I feel that now there would be problems with this. Yes, John McAfee turned out to be a very unreliable partner in all the endeavors and projects in which he participated. It looks like you need to stay away from all projects that are associated with his name.
2109  Economy / Economics / Re: Business / private sector is dead on: August 20, 2020, 08:16:52 PM
From the outside, it really seems that the governments of various states have conspired with each other and, under the pretext of fighting the coronavirus, want to destroy small and medium-sized businesses. The measures are so harsh that sometimes it seems that they are deliberately destroying their economy. However, the business will begin to grow stronger and develop as soon as the right conditions arise. Of course, some part of business structures will inevitably disappear, some will be rebuilt, and some more will just start working. In general, the business cannot be stopped; after the reduction, it will immediately start developing.
2110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make old people understand Bitcoin? on: August 20, 2020, 07:49:36 PM
It is unlikely that old people can already be taught to understand bitcoin, and even more so to teach how to work with cryptocurrency. This is no longer their time. Most old people don't even want to hear about cryptocurrency. If they do not see money in their hands, it is not money for them.
A significant proportion of people will soon be working with cryptocurrency. These will be those who are now attending schools and preschool institutions.
2111  Economy / Economics / Re: Cash Is Trash on: August 19, 2020, 05:48:51 PM
Everyone was laughing on Ray Diallo when he said his famous phrase "cash is trash" on 2019 and they even laughed more when his hedge fund tanked 30% under water on early 2020. guess what, US stock markets are bullish again and on a stunning V-shaped recovery and Gold recently hit all time high and bitcoin of course in its way to break new price record. So, who's laughing now!. he was damn right.
If you say that cash is rubbish, I want more such rubbish. Anyone can express themselves in such a way. However, the cash of states has never been and never will be rubbish. The exceptions are states that have declared themselves bankrupt, that is, declared a default. However, this is not common. Until now, the economies of all states have successfully used national cash and non-cash money, which reflect the value of all goods in this state. Now we are switching more to the use of non-cash and digital forms of money, but this does not mean that the money of states will ever disappear. As long as there will be various states on our planet that will defend their economic and political development, as long as there will be national money of states, in cash or in cash, it does not matter anymore.
2112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine arrests gang who ran 20 crypto-exchanges and laundered money for ransomw on: August 19, 2020, 02:20:29 PM
Who or group can run 20 exchanges concurrently? If they do not run multi scam exchanges, they won't be able to have enough resources to do so. Is it a real news or only a FUD to force Bitcoin down again, at the right time with strong resistant price at $13k, bad news was released?
Apparently, the information about 20 exchanges involved in this crime scandal is too exaggerated. However, it is pleasant to see not the first successful operation of law enforcement agencies in Ukraine to combat cybercrime, which are associated with the use of cryptocurrency for illegal purposes. Moreover, as we can see, close cooperation has been established with international cryptocurrency exchanges, and the best of them. Such cooperation is the key to a successful fight against hacking, fraud and other crimes, where participants in the cryptocurrency market become victims.
2113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everyone waiting for v2.0 but... on: August 18, 2020, 08:28:44 PM
Everything should be done carefully, so I look forward to a very complete update in the future as well. If the update goes down I believe it will cause the price of ETH to crash
Everything has already prepared by ethereum developers and i think that there will always be some problems in the process of the update but it can be passed easily. In fact ethereum is still on its way to go to the moon.
The main thing is that basically the improvements to Ethereum 2.0 are almost ready. There will always be some inconsistencies; without this, great things in new beginnings cannot do.
If the implementation of these improvements is once again delayed, it is unlikely that ethereum will fall in price because of this. Price fluctuations will, possibly, delay the growth. However, you need to give developers the opportunity to finish their business calmly and without unnecessary fuss.
2114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why You Think That Your Coin/Token Will Grow? on: August 18, 2020, 07:49:47 PM
I choose projects with a real product and real improvements in any area so that their tokens can be in demand. In general, I rarely buy cryptocurrency, I mainly earn in ICO signature companies. Tokens from different projects, so at least some of them will definitely grow in price. Where I am not very sure, I try to exchange for bitcoin or ethereum. It is more reliable.
2115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Tether (USDT) flips Ethereum (ETH)? on: August 15, 2020, 05:15:03 PM
Even if the market capitalization of USDT rises so much that this stablecoin displaces ethereum from the second spot on the CoinMarketCap table, nothing will change significantly. It is unlikely that the popularity of ethereum or its price will fall from this. These coins have such different tasks and functions that it will not affect them in any way.
USDT has already moved ripple from the third position, nothing special happened.
2116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will "De-Fi" replace traditional banking in the future? on: August 15, 2020, 04:56:17 PM
DeFi projects, providing services for loans, credits, the issuance of interest on depository, thanks to smart contracts, began to perform the traditional functions of banks and therefore, of course, they will press banks in this. However, one can hardly expect that all people will use only these services. A certain part of people will use the services of banks for various reasons. Therefore, I think that the services of DeFi and banks will exist in parallel.
2117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC and ETH on their 2 years high on: August 14, 2020, 05:29:27 AM
Bitcoin is steadily increasing over time, quietly reaching 11.8K today, highest price for last two years. Ethereum's rise is much sudden and higher against BTC, it's traded at upto $430+ today, it's highest for last two years. Where do you see the market heading? would there still be bullish ride or there ought to be an immediate correction?
Various recent events in the cryptocurrency market and in the world in general indicate that the price of cryptocurrency will continue to grow. Now very favorable conditions are developing for this. Soon we should see how a decentralized cryptocurrency will behave in the context of its first global economic crisis. This could significantly raise the price of bitcoin and other potential cryptocurrencies.
2118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Im planning to invest in Ethereum. Is this a good plan? on: August 14, 2020, 04:57:01 AM
I am new to the crypto world. Im planning to invest in Eth because i have an instinct that this will rise up in the future. Any thoughts? Help .
I also agree with you. Ethereum is one of the most promising cryptocurrencies for price growth this year. Today, this coin surprised again, having risen in price by eight percent to reach $ 428. If you look at the dynamics of growth, ethereum is growing in price much more than bitcoin. This coin is growing in anticipation of the Ethereum 2.0 improvements.
2119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Despite Many Participants, You Can Still Get Huge Rewards In Bounty. on: August 13, 2020, 05:00:20 PM
So far, I'm happy with the companies that Bounty Detective is running. They write that they guarantee payments to participants in ICO bounty campaigns, since escrow applies. In these cases, there is a certain guarantee that the projects will not turn out to be fraudulent. Also, I like that they explicitly state that no KYC will apply. Unscrupulous ICO teams very often used KYC after a certain time after the end of the ICO in order not to pay the bounty hunters the tokens we earned.
The number of participants in ICO bounty campaigns and the amount of payments will always be different, as there will be different ICO projects. Here we ourselves need to be vigilant and make independent decisions.
2120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Defi New revolution or just like 2017 ICO,s ? on: August 13, 2020, 04:30:22 PM
DeFi basically the usage smart contract. While there are some legit usage of DeFi smart contract, it's nothing revolutionary.
Cryptocurrency continues to evolve rapidly and DeFi is one of the necessary milestones along the way. Not so long ago, we were discussing whether it would be possible to use cryptocurrency for loans, credits, and deposits. ICO projects and cryptobanks appeared that promised to carry out these operations. With the advent of DeFi, this is becoming a reality based on smart contracts. Moreover, as it turned out, banks are absolutely unnecessary here.
Also stablecoins appeared, which are pegged to regular currency, but backed by cryptocurrency. Such stablecoins can even provide their holders with a certain profit, as they deviate more from the set value of the unit than regular stablecoins.
