It's not a bad idea actually. People who want to trade, can do so, and it gives more exposure for the coin, especially now that you can get it on coinmarketcap just by trading on the Nxt AE. NEM has a significant 24h trading volume before even in the alpha stage.
Of course it's some extra work for the coin developers, but it's worth it.
The way NEM doing now is a pretty good. Anyone who wants a stake, have to send 1 nxt, and pm the tx.
But you have to finish removing the sockpuppets before doing this.

Unfortunately we don't really have a choice, because otherwise someone would believe him. He can sound convincing and reasonable for a while, before the crazy shows. The best would be just to link the relevant two topics on nxtforum every time he speaks about Nxt.

I started to watch this thread after around 5 minutes of OP.
After a while it was clear it's not a scam (In the wake of Nxt there were like three annoncements like this a day), but also that it will be a long development. I'm okay with that.
However after the IPO announcement a few weeks ago (or months now?) I don't have any intention to buy the coin at IPO, the risk/reward ratio doesn't look good. I'm still watching because I want to see what technology it will bring, maybe buy some coints at some point, but the IPO format removed any incentive to invest in it.

Petition to coinmarketcap going to be started to correct the false market cap, being faked due to no liquidity.
This is Auoracoin and Ripple all over again.
Unless it is distributed (PROVEN BY VOLUME) there should be no fake market cap.
I would buy a NXT clone, but the scam distribution ruins it for me. I will not participate in a scam like this to enrich a few greedy sick gluttons and their stealing friends - what did the NXT leader just steal - $250,000.00??? That is more than your daily average volume.
Guess he could not get his BTC by selling without crashing NXT.
Undistributed Coins need to be removed from market cap.
Can't wait for Ethereum to destroy NXT, by simply having a fair launch.
