321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what will happen if miners stop mining bitcoin? on: December 24, 2017, 01:31:35 AM
What will happen if miners stop mining bitcoin? Will result in broken blockchain or any other problems to the network? I would like to buy some bitcoin for long-term investment and not plan to sell for years

Go ahead and buy for the longer term, keep them safe in a hardware wallet for years before selling them. Nothing will happen to the bitcoin network as miners will not stop mining as long as there is some incentive to them or being the fees when sending a bitcoin transaction. There will always be transaction fees as long as people will keep using bitcoins and by the calculation the last coin will be mined to make 21 mln coins available in the year 2140, which pretty sure we would all be dead by then so do not worry as nothing will happen, except that the price may skyrocket after those years and you be a rich man back then when you will sell your coins.

yes, like you said we will be dead by year where bitcoin is stop mined. i know the price will to go to sky if the miners stop doing mining.
but just think about our child or maybe grandchild in that year who use bitcoin, i am just curious what bad thing will be happen if no mining anymore?
322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Bitcoin Cash, was it scam? on: December 24, 2017, 12:28:08 AM
Hey guys, I am new so be nice  Grin
So yesterday, the co-founder of Bitcoin said that he is selling his BTCs and then maybe moving to bitcoin cash! In less than 24 hours, coinbase add this to its wallet and then price were pumped up by a few small transactions to 8500$!

In a trade world, this is illegal, isn't it?

Shouldn't Bitcoin have some sort of self regulation to prevent people from doing this kinda stuff?
Is that what you got from the news? There is something wrong here. It is the bitcoin.com Co-Founder (which is a website). They didn't create bitcoin. You need to either inform yourself better or write better. No point in letting FUD affect one's decisions.

When was BCH $8500?

i think this is a mistake, i never seen BCH reach $8500? or maybe someone else ever seen that price?
in this cryptocurrency, anybody free to sell or buy any altcoin depending on their thiought and nobody can forbidden them to do that.
323  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Make Money From The Bitcoin Crash on: December 23, 2017, 01:26:54 AM
There's no real way in telling when the crash 'if any' might happen. It might even only correct to a shallow price level before commencing its next uptrend. We'll never know until it happens.

Correct. I agree with you. Nobody mean this is unpredictable.
We never know when it crashed but although it will happen, it is not in near time. Still long and long time later or maybe after we are in the earth anymore.
324  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how risky is day trading? on: December 23, 2017, 01:24:33 AM
With the unpredictable changes in bitcoin price people have chose to hold instead of day trading,I mean the majority have.
How risky is day trading at the moment?

I think the all altcoin is never been predictable. If anybody say that bitcoin is predictable and they know the price for sure and dont believe it. Trading is always unpredictable. Our prediction is just probability game and it can not be 100% but less.
However, day trade is high risk and better try long time holding in top altcoin.
325  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to trade efficiently? on: December 23, 2017, 01:21:28 AM
I know that it varies from people to people and their strategies but there must be some important and basic points which people tend to forget all the time .
Of course I don't want you to reveal your trading strategy but some good tips that would really help me out.

First of all, leave day trading to the bots! Go for longer term trades on recently heavily dumped coins. Don't diversify too much, and don't buy small amounts of a lot of coin. You will end up only with scraps. Concentrate on few well researched coins instead. Hunt down coins with solid, new technology and buy the dips.
And stay away from pump groups. The good ones are closed clubs with rather high buy-in price.

Dont buy small amount in many coin? It can make our trading more risky. Put the ball in many basket is better i think to reduce the risk of trading.
In this case, you can reduce the risk and also you can reduce the chance to get high profit.
Now decision is yours. Want to get small profit with small risk or the other turn.
326  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin expectation end of 2018 on: December 23, 2017, 01:18:45 AM
That's too far ahead, but just imagine if we would do even half of what bitcoins did this year, then $50k is nothing. Bitcoins jumped from $800 to $20,000 (its all time high) in less than a year! That's amazing. That is 25x since it started this year. Imagine if it would even do just 5x. Then $20,000 x 5 = $100,000 by the end of 2018. It's quite possible I think!

Just imagine will not make bitcoin price jump from now to 5x.
I thought its too hard to achieve it in near time. Maybe during next year would ne more male sense to reach that price.
327  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you see trading as fun and games? on: December 21, 2017, 11:44:10 PM

I can bet my all bugs on this that no one takes trading as a fun or trade with coins because it feels like gaming. Trading cannot be done without good knowledge of coins in a successful manner. Whosoever takes it serious work hard to understand graphs in a good way and make wise moves at right time? In short, as you said trading deals with money ultimately so no one is going to take it light in any way.

Yes agree with you mate, i believe most people take trading as serious job where they put their life on top of trading. Because many people just get income only from trading. Imagine how if we think trading is game? It mean they play their life on top. Not reliable.
328  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Practice trading on: December 21, 2017, 11:40:40 PM
Hello im newbie and i dont have any experience as a trader. Can you discuss some solutions for my problem?

The solution will be to read and study and practice and ask from reliable people who have extensive experiences already. That's what I am doing right now actually. Perhaps, you may start from choosing your best trading platform. Bittrex is the most famous as there are so many coins there. Try creating a bittrex.com account and explore and familiarize the buttons there.

Like above me said, learning is the most reliable answer about of your problem. Maybe you confuse where to start, just start with beginner or basic knowledge about trading. Start from this forum or just googling.

If you have that can teach you trading, it will make the learning more effective. Its suggested.
329  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be cautious with new exchanges on: December 21, 2017, 11:37:13 PM
It looks like they have a small volume with trades right now, but doesn't really look like a scam exchange. Does anyone here trade on topbtc? I doubt the exchange will be listed on coinmarketcap if it's a fake one, but the price does seem a little fishy.. They also claim to have free exchanges. I wonder how they make money

I dont exactly know if topbtc is scam exchanger or fake exchanger. But one thing that i have to remember and remind everybody, please be aware to new exchanger since sometime it is fake or scam.
330  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's happening to Bitcoin? on: December 21, 2017, 11:34:32 PM
Bitcoin is taking a huge plunge!
Are you guys selling to be safe, or still hodl in the hope it will go up again?

I will still hold my bitcoin because i'm pretty sure that it is just a temporary and it will go up again. It always happen to bitcoin that's why bitcoin is volatile it goes up and down so don't panic sell, wait for the price to increase again.

If in bitcoin, i believe it would be happen again uptrend where the price break the all time high again.
If talking about other altcoin, i am doubt. So now holding is good waiting the price up.
331  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long awaited Bitcoin correction(+) on: December 21, 2017, 11:32:41 PM
The corrections is going to happen but is not going to be serious one as many traders are awaiting the corrections to buy and push the price up.  We are expecting price to fell a little below 15,000 dollar to buy again and after that bitcoin may push above $20,000 as speculated that this will happen before end of this year.

Correct, i will believe the correction not too deep and bad since many trader are waiting the correction and buying again to push the price up.  Bitcoin has big community as back up to make the price stable in up price.
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy and Hold 100 Cryptocurrencies for 5 Years – Day 10 – Doubled on: December 21, 2017, 07:18:37 AM
I also do the same, investing 100$ on cryptos under 1$ in the top 100 CMK. I have now ~20 cryptos and it's only the beginning. I hope this strategy will pay off  Cheesy
for example, only with TRON, +423% (x4) since December the 13th, and I have also Power Ledger, Vechain, MAID, ETHLEND, BAT... which have pump Smiley

nice skill and strategy. i hope i can try your strategy later.
put the ball in many basket is always good strategy rather than put it only in 1 basket.
333  Economy / Economics / Re: Still Buying Bitcoin at $10K? on: December 21, 2017, 01:43:52 AM
I will still  buy bitcoin for sure although $10k or more per 1 bitcoin.
Bitcoin price not stop and has big potential to grow more and more next year.

i dont really care how much is the price for 1 bitcoin, i just think that by buying and holding bitcoin i will have a chance to grow my capital. thats all. so i will always buy no matter with the price.
334  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is an Asset or Currency? on: December 21, 2017, 01:39:37 AM
I believe that the initial purpose of crypto is to create a digital currency for making transactions quick and easy. However, in reality it has become an asset which everybody is buying and holding. Continuing doing like this will destroy the initial purpose of the coin?

What is your opinion?

i know if we continue using Crypto as an asset then the goal of it will be a currency is destroying.
but i see the reason why people continue using crypto as an asset, it because crypto is profitable.
i dont mind if its happen, for me profit is most important.
335  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you see the bitcoin economy 10 years from now? on: December 21, 2017, 01:11:02 AM
Bitcoin is growing fast and everyday a lot of people takes interest in this. I too started the other day and I am very willing to invest my time here. With that said, with the drastic growth of bitcoin worldwide, how do you see the bitcoin economy 10 years from now? Thank you as always.
Surely, it will be bigger. Bitcoin is becoming more popular to people because of being profitable to its users and investors. Also, it is becoming legal to more countries which will allow more people to make use of Bitcoin and earn profit from it. 10 years would be enough for Bitcoin to be devwloped as a stronger currency than now.

i always agree when people say bitcoin will become stronger in future and 10 years is time for bitcoin to take a place.
if becoming legal, i will more believe that bitcoin will be strongest ever.
336  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Volatility A Bad Thing? on: December 21, 2017, 01:03:54 AM
Steam dropped bitcoin support citing "high volatility" as a motive.

When amazon stock jumped from $18 to $1,200 over a period of years, was this high volatility a bad thing?

If bitcoin's value increases from $6,000 to $16,000 over a period of months, and HODL'ers benefit, this high volatility is bad?

Where does the idea of high volatility being an unnecessary evil come from?

Are there good arguments or evidence which support the concept of high volatility being a negative circumstance?

In a sense, volatility simply means the price of something moves a lot, its not that bad if the vast majority of motion is in an upward direction?

 Huh Huh Huh

i like this op. volatility is not only bad thing but good thing too.
as we know, volatility one of some bitcoin characteristic that can make profit and loss. profit and loss are staying together and can not be separated. it mean volatility has pro and con.
337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do if Bitcoin Price Crashes on: December 19, 2017, 01:40:32 PM
I will definitely withdraw my money from bank and i will buy bitcoin as much as i can.
I am sure bitcoin will finish and will grow again. But it will not happen.
338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advantage of Bitcoin over Fiat (fees) on: December 19, 2017, 01:31:41 PM
I dont really catch and care to anothers advantages of bitcoin. The only one of it that make me love and believe in bitcoin is bitcoin can give me really big profit. I dont said it is 100% safe but with bitcoin i have chance to grow money into double.
339  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Psychology of waiting on: December 19, 2017, 12:04:04 AM
I have now heard a lot of people talking about they are waiting for bitcoin to drop, so that they can buy bitcoin. But these guys might have said that since 6k$ and are still waiting. What do you tell those people, to try and make them understand that waiting for a drop can cost them huge percentage gains?

I dont really understand what the meaning this sentence " waiting can cost them huge percentage of gains "?
Maybe i am not expert. LOL
However, by waiting we make sure we will get best price. So waiting is need when the price to high.
340  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Important Indicators For Successful Trading on: December 18, 2017, 11:58:55 PM
Well, to be honest, I think you have got it to some extent, my dear friend. Because there are no indicators that work fine or don't work. Indicators are just price based and it is our belief in those indicators which is working fine and if ask me then I would tell you that stick to one indicator and then dig deeper into that indicator rather than going in broad in all the indicators. Because you can trade like professional with even one single indicator provided you know thoroughly about it.

One single indicator is enough for expert to gain profit in their trading. As i know, not many people use indicators in cryptocurrency trading. Most of them just buy and hold. No need indicators. But if need indicator, i will use only 2, those are BB and SMA.
