Though bitcoin lose a bit its price but it does not mean they will look for ripple.
There are so many altcoin out there to look for it, reaching $3 is a bit difficult for altcoin which has very high supply like ripple.

high supply is the biggest problem for any altcoin to increase its price.
huge supply with huge market cap does not mean anything. we need lower supply to make the price to the moon.
