2421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 55K loss, how to get back into the game on: December 25, 2018, 08:43:44 AM
Only invest what you can afford to lose. 60k is a huge amount.
You should get rid of all the shitcoins you have and keep only the top ones. Just hold and you'll be fine, be patient.
2422  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the market will continue to fall on: December 25, 2018, 08:31:33 AM
Are you one of those guys spreading fud so that the price goes down and you can buy some more ? Don't you think this year has been enough ?
BTC will never reach zero, there will always be demand for it whatever happens to it.
2423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Does ICO and bounty die? on: December 25, 2018, 07:50:15 AM
Hi all. I took part in more than 3 hundred bounties in two year. Last half year there are no pay from project to hunters. Maybe bounty will die or it's transformayion in something other Huh  Huh Huh

300 ?
That's just crazy ! What a waste of time since I guess you got paid peanuts for this.
Most ICOs were scams or shitty projects and 2018 has been a good year to get rid of them.
I stopped doing bounties because of this. Let's hope 2019 is more selective with projects.

2426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 232: Jones vs Gustafsson 2 Prediction and Info Thread on: December 25, 2018, 06:08:07 AM
Can't wait to see the Jones / Gustafsson revenge. Jones deserved to win the first even though it was closer than many expected. For me Gustafsson had the first two rounds, Jones the last three after he adapted to Gus' boxing.
I want to see Jones in the heavies after this.

EDIT : https://www.bloodyelbow.com/2018/12/23/18154355/ufc-232-jon-jones-tests-positive-trace-amount-turinabol-moved-to-california-one-week-out-mma-news

Quote
According to a report by MMA Junkie (which was corroborated by ESPN’s Brett Okamoto), Jones tested positive for a trace amount of DHCMT, also known as Turinabol, earlier this month. USADA head Jeff Novitzky called this a “pulsing” effect, basically stating that it was still in his system from his 2017 positive test that netted him a 15-month suspension. It is not a new ingestion, and it was a pictogram - basically an extremely tiny amount. So he has not violated USADA rules.

That's BS :

At first I read this as '2 million bitcoin coins were privately premined' and I was about to dismiss it as FUD. Then I later realised you were talking about bitcoin private and I ceased to care if it was FUD or not.

Totally understandable.  Grin

Coinmetrics report: Over 2 million Bitcoin Private tokens were covertly premined, breaking the 21 million supply cap

https://www.theblockcrypto.com/2018/12/23/coinmetrics-report-over-2-million-bitcoin-private-tokens-were-covertly-premined-breaking-the-21-million-supply-cap/

Coinmetrics, a cryptoasset data provider, released a 10-page report titled: “Don’t trust, verify: A Bitcoin Private case study,” analyzing Bitcoin Private’s coin supply
Bitcoin Private is a fork-merge of Bitcoin and ZClassic, a cryptocurrency with privacy features, which itself was a fork of Zcash
The report found that 2.04 million additional Bitcoin Private units were covertly minted, pushing the actual supply cap of BTCP to 23.04 million, instead of 21 million

Quote
Coinmetrics explains that during the UXTO import leading to the Bitcoin Private fork, “special blocks” were produced by the Bitcoin Private network that contained 400 extra outputs containing 50 bitcoins each. Coinmetrics found that there were 102 of these special blocks. By calculating these figures (102 special blocks * 400  extra outputs * 50 bitcoins) Coinmetrics concludes that 2,040,000 additional BTCP were produced. Coinmetrics charted out the expected bitcoin UXTO import vs. the actual import in the chart below.

2433  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-12-22]Western Union is Ready for Crypto Use in its Payment & Transfer Serv on: December 24, 2018, 04:18:30 PM
I heard they were doing tests with XRP but yeah the title is a bit misleading.
Actually there is new competition with Facebook. There is a rumor that thay want to use the Ziliqa blockchain to create their own stablecoin and use it for money transfers on whatsapp :

https://ethereumworldnews.com/exploring-the-speculation-that-facebook-is-building-on-the-zilliqa-zil-network/

Maybe the competition between these two giants will speed things up.

2435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Advice for Bounty participants on: December 24, 2018, 04:05:37 PM
I understand everything has not bloomed and bloomed well
But let’s endeavor to be at an alert because in crypto currency

When you are tired weak and feeble, that is when good and valuable projects pass you by
But when you are excited to work, you get only peanuts project

So work now that you are weak
Persevere and don’t burn your opportunity because of short term  comfort
Or maybe you can just stop wasting your time on worthless projects and concentrate on much important things related to Bitcoin.
Do less bounties, read more, post more on BCT and rank up, learn how to trade, get informed on what's going on in the crypto world... there's much better ways to spend your time than on bounty campaigns.
