Does that work ?

you know this new thing ?
i hear it is called grin
will it bring me green ?
unfortunately the second line only has six syllables and should have seven.
otherwise it seems rather good, with semi-rhymes, alliteration and a hint at a natural theme ('green'), an essential feature which most people seem not to be bothered about

i think i get it
i'm not very good at it
but i do like it

P.S : last one for a while, I swear.

CoinGecko 2018 Crypto Report
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5098521.0

It's not just about BTC. Here is the full report :
https://bit.ly/2018CoinGeckoReport

"Among the top 5 cryptoassets, Bitcoin Cash saw the worst loss where its price fell by 93%. We have a section (pages 39-42) looking deeper into the Bitcoin Cash split that caused this massive fall in value.
...
As the market fell throughout 2018, we saw a “flight-to-safety” towards Bitcoin. Market dominance for Bitcoin went from 40% to above 55% by the end of the year. We also saw a stablecoin, Tether ending the year as one of the top 10 cryptoasset by market capitalization, ending the year as the 7th largest cryptoasset."

Today was the draw for the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey:

Real Madrid - Girona
Getafe - Valencia
Sevilla - Barcelona
Espanyol - Betis

Tough week for Sevilla, they're playing against Real Madrid in the league tomorrow, and 4 days later, against Barcelona.

I read somewhere about Barcelona possibility to be eliminated for fielding an ineligible player, I'm waiting to see how this would turn out.

Barcelona B defender Chumi, who played the first 58 minutes of the first leg, should have been suspended after picking up a fifth booking in the Segunda Division B.

The Catalans argued that they believed the suspension was only valid for league games, a posture later denied by the RFEF.

They got out of this ok (unfair if you ask me, they should be dqed).
It's confirmed that they'll play Sevilla in the next round :

Porto's Central Defender Eder Militao could join Real Madrid next summer. Real would pay 50 Mln for the 21 year old.
2115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: January 18, 2019, 09:40:38 AM
Too much happened too fast for Real. Losing their best player, not being able to replace him with an offensive leader (Bale is not that !), losing a coach that was respected by the whole locker room, not getting the results they were expecting from players who should have grown with Ronaldo's departure (Asensio, Benzema, Bale, Isco...).
They sure have the potential but they need a major star, a real leader and a better coach.
Neymar is not what they need. Actually, I don't see anyone right now that could have the impact Ronaldo had. I'm guessing a few years of transition are coming for Real.

I don't speak Russian but from what I got with Google Translator, Russians have changed $100 Billions into Yuans, Yens and Euros. There was no plan of changing them into BTC (or is this about another $100 Billions ?)

Japan Explores Crypto ETFs After Snubbing Futures

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-01-07/japan-is-said-to-explore-crypto-etfs-after-snubbing-futures?srnd=technology-vp

"The Financial Services Agency is currently gauging industry interest in ETFs tracking digital currencies, according to a person familiar with the agency’s thinking who requested anonymity discussing private plans.
...
Japan’s ETF market is worth $335 billion (with about 75 percent owned by the central bank). That’s a fraction of the $3.7 trillion worth of ETFs outstanding in the U.S."

"There is no such fact that we are considering approving ETFs which track crypto-assets at present … we are not currently considering approving them."

France beat Russia by one goal yesterday. The game counted for nothing as France was already qualified and knew its next round opponents already.
Karabatic had a quiet game.

These will be the main round groups (and their actual standings based on first round games)

G1
1 Croatia 2 W
2 Germany 1W 1D
3 France 1W 1D
4 Spain 1W 1L
5 Iceland 2L
6 Brazil 2L

G2 (looks like a much easier group)
1 Denmark 2W
2 Sweden 2W
3 Norway 1W 1L
4 Hungary 1D 1L
5 Egypt 1D 1L
6 Tunisia 2L

The first two of each group will go the semis.
