2081  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion about merit system on: January 20, 2019, 10:50:02 AM
First of all, I want make it clear that this is a complementary proposal to the merit system.

I see so many people that they still doesn't have merit with more than 100 activity or some people have more than 300 activity but they haven't even 5 merit. I think at least they deserve to be a member rank.

So my suggestion is very simple: exchange our activity with Merit.

The rules of exchange are very simple:

1-) 5 or more activity = 1 merit

2-) can be a limitation for size of exchange, for example, you can't exchange more than 100 activity.

So they can be at least a member rank.

100 activity and still 0 merit ?
No offense but they must be doing something wrong.
Unless they're only here for bounty campaigns (which basically means to spam), there's no reason for them not to earn at least one merit. And if their English isn't good enough, they can always post in local boards. This is a place to talk about cryptos (mostly Bitcoin), not a place to make money thanks to shitposts.

Yeah that’s right. Morata couldn’t hit a cows ass with a pan full of rice from 2 metres Smiley

It seems like he could sign with Atletico Madrid this week.
I personnally don't think they need him.

Juventus is interested in French midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, a huge prospect who had his first caps with the national team recently.

France took their revenge from last year's European championships semi final game against Spain. They won this one 33-30.
They're almost qualified for this year's semis now.
Next game is against Iceland tomorrow.
2086  Economy / Collectibles / Re: FREE DAILY RAFFLE RULES. PLEASE READ PRIOR TO PARTICIPATING on: January 19, 2019, 07:49:44 PM
The free loaded Denarium raffle sponsored by Cloudbet held here every Monday is over.  Cry

In the meanwhile I am looking for someone else to sponsor the Monday one again.

It was fun and lots of people walked away with a loaded physical Bitcoin coin. The first for some.  Cool

I will still be hodling my other free raffles daily in the https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=71.0 section Monday thru Friday.

Those are still out of my pocket as they always were...no sponsors whatsoever. And will be until my good mood is over Wink

In the meanwhile...if anyone wants to donate or offer anything that I can raffle for this collectable section, please reach out..until then

Cheers!  Cheesy

Well sorry to hear that.
I just recently found out about your giveaways... and haven't won any yet lol.
Thanks for doing all this krogoth, I'll try not to miss too many of your daily raffles... hoping you stay in a good mood for a long long while.  Smiley

Nikola Karabatic will give France a big boost as well. I see them going past Spain today, maybe with a 2-3 goals difference.
I'm watching the game right now. Everything's going well, we're up by 2 at halftime (it should have been more, last 3 minutes were bad for us).
Who needs Karabatic when N'Guessan is playing like that ? Seriously, the guy's finally playing up to his potential. Him and Redili are the team's offense leaders in these championships. Fabregas is also having a great game.

Also, LW Mickael Guigou is the most underrated player ever. He's 35, looks like nothing but I don't think there are many players in the world with more technique than him.
2088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs should target developing and third world countries on: January 19, 2019, 04:05:43 PM
When you use an ATM, you withdraw cash and then spend it at the bakery, supermarket or whatever. If you use an ATM to get bitcoins then what do you do? Nothing at all, you can't pay anything with it. So why should a buyer use an ATM when it is more convenient to do it online and cheaper. Likewise, if you want to sell bitcoins, why would a typical user go to an ATM to sell his bitcoins?
There may also be a cost that makes these countries unprofitable for companies. If you're paid in BTC and can pay everything in BTC then the question won't be no more.

Well you can also use the Bitcoin ATM to withdraw cash.
Let's say you're visiting a country and you need cash in the local currency, all you need is a Bitcoin ATM. No bank, no credit cards...

It's probably not a good idea to convert your pocket change into Bitcoin dust since the transfer fees would be more than the amount however if you have something like this - brb

Edit: apologies.  This is actually my daughter's bag of change (wrangled from her mother and I originally) so I had to answer 20 questions before I was allowed to borrow it!

There is probably over $50 in this bag.  As the denominations get smaller it becomes more of a pain to roll them and exchange them for bills.  The Coinstar machine is great for that though the fee is upwards of 10%.  Can't wait for the Bitcoin though!  I have TUBS of pennies to exchange Wink

10 % ? F...!

Couldn't this work like a faucet where you can only move your BTC once you have a minimum amount ?
2091  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 19, 2019, 03:16:54 PM

Oh my. OH MY!

Sarcasm I suppose ?
I'm not from the US but I go there often. Just had never heard of Coinstar and that "cash for coins" thing before.
2092  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 19, 2019, 03:07:09 PM
I have read the articles about the new Coinstar ATMs that are gonna spread in US grocery stores but I guess I didn't get that part :

https://www.ccn.com/how-coinstar-could-turn-62-million-dollars-worth-of-literal-trash-into-bitcoin/

Quote
But people might be a lot more careful with their pocket change if there was some way it could be more valuable. Soon one way to make it more valuable will be to toss it into a Coinstar machine and convert it from the dust of a depreciating public currency into bitcoin, an appreciating, private, free market currency with a definite and fixed supply.

So if I got this right, we'll be able to change cents into BTC dust ?

2095  Economy / Scam Accusations / Scam e-mail : fake 0x Hydro Protocol fork on: January 19, 2019, 02:42:21 PM
I'm not sure this has been reported here before. If it has, let me know, I'll lock the topic.

I've been receiving this email once per day lately, sent by noreply@okura.nl

"Hydro Protocol is forking 0x and distributing the new HYD token to ZRX holders
...
To claim HYD tokens, community members must first register on our website, provide a valid Ethereum address and receive 1:1 for the total ZRX balance contained by the registered address.

Tokens can be unlocked immediately through Hydro Webwallet - an easy, safe and user-friendly interface to interact with the Ethereum blockchain."

And of course, to claim your tokens, you have to provide your private key.

"Someone has been creating huge invalid transactions for Tether. We have added a filter to prevent them from showing up here again."

"yes, I saw them and was shocked 39bilion dollars each"

The deleted tweet from that page was talking about a total $184 Billions injected into the market.
