I wouldn`t waste time and energy on ICO, too many scams around
If you DYOR, there's a low chance of getting screwed over. Kyber, Walton, VeChain...great ICOs. I dump'em as soon as they hit exchanges since you never know what happens down the line...I mean Tezos is a good example of that.

Joined, because why the hell not, but what's the point to a coin for feelings? Lol how does that even work out?

I'm confused. What's going on here?

I've been trying to signup for the airdrop the last couple days and couldn't because the website was getting stuck on submitting.

Of course people are still selling their btc. Is there no other way available for you to get some? Try localbitcoins.com.

Yeah, I think it's a pretty cool little coin for a niche market. It's multialgo and private. I think privacy focused coins will no grow as big as Monero (even monero might settle down towards the 20th position in terms of marketcap), but I think they will have their customer base, so to speak.

I have been trying to get into cloud mining but don't particular want to put money into it. Can anyone recommend a good site to start cloud mining sites for free? Any that aren't scams or don't work. I'd be grateful to know of a good functioning site for cloud mining.
Why would anyone consume resources and wear down their equipment to give you btc for free? It's absurd. If you still wanna look into cloud mining and you're willing to shell out some bucks for it, you can try genesis mining. I'm not gonna tell you it's not a pyramid scheme, but they appear decent enough to stick to their agreements. Most of the people making money from genesis are youtubers who get their followers to sign up with their referrals.

I read about this yesterday. I hope this gets sorted. It really does sound like an ugly power struggle. One would have thought that these things are discussed before taking investor money. Or it might be a case of them being way more successful than they thought they would be. Either way its bad for Tezos.
They decided NOT to have a cap.. to me that sounds like a plan that is not made yet. If they did have a plan in place, they would have figured out how much money they need, how many coins are issued.. etc.. No hard cap= they just want lots of money Basically this. I, for one, never invest in ICOs for the long run. I only invest in the ones that are 100% solid, kyber being a good example, and then I immediately dump as soon as it hits the exchanges.

Voted 'yes'. I presume Bitcoin will still be around in 10 years but probably won't be the leading coin in the world of cryptocurrencies anymore. It is getting outdated as you sort of mention in the OP and other, better performing altcoins are already emerging rapidly. BTC dominance in the total market capitalization is 49% nowadays, a huge drop compared to the 80 - 90% we've seen up until march this year.
That is just the marketing maturing. Bitcoin is neither going away nor becoming obsolete. Lightning is essentially smart contracts. If bitcoin gets killed by a clone, and not something completely different, like eth, that means it must be due to some economically catastrophic decisions taken by the core devs. Which, unfortunately, is not unlikely. But I have faith things will have already settled down in 2018.

Milkcoin will be a great one, they'll target the massive agricultural market of Russia, and will help you benefit from the fast growing economy there. They pay out dividends, which makes it harder to get listed on giant exchanges, but it'll be a nice advantage for Hodlers, of course. 3 years after the ICO, the company will buy back some coins at a 120% price, so you're guaranteed to make good profits.
Check em out, link in my signature
I kind of feel that the price of Milkcoin will drop in value once they get listed on an exchange. That usually happens with all the new projects. ALL promising ICOs are pumped like crazy for the initial listing profit. Kyber, Walton etc. All of'em were dumped after listing.

"Redeeming" their honor and selling them for profit? That would be my take.

19.3GH/s is false advertising right ?
Some people want to sell there D3 and lie about hashrate ??
Can we have screenshot of what you advance ?
who lied? the current batch that already delivered in China are all 19,3ghz Wow....that's pretty crazy. I'd love to see the real number once it's online. That would mean that Bitmain sold a huge batch at 17.5 gh for $2,699.00 per, and the next batch for $1269.00 for 19.3gh. Seems a bit Wonky. Yeah but that first batch ROIed in less than a month and this one will take half a year. My order is on the way but bitmain still hasn't sent me any emails. I need the invoice to clear customs!!! No it didn't. I have first batch and I made around 800$ so far. I'm not here like others that didn't know what they were buying, but you're exaggerating a bit with that roi. It cost me somewhere around 3600$. I can only hope dash goes through the same stages as litecoin did and x11 maintains a decent monthly profitability throughout next year.

Jack squat will happen. By the time they realize that crypto and bitcoin are uncensorable, the game will be on a whole different level due to countries like Japan or Korea. And by then, just like what happened to a similar technology - torrents, it will be unstoppable. People will be buying crypto EASILY even in police states like Russia and China.

Eth is a pioneer. There will be problems. But, like Bitcoin before it, it created an industry standard. Bar some catastrophe, it will stay the king of ico platforms for the foreseeable future.

It's entirely possible we may see 7000+ before January. I'd much rather it grew organically instead of surging so as to limit the possibility of a bubble, but I still think we're safe until we reach the 1 trillion marketcap.

If you wanna play the long game in the safest way possible, I'd suggest going bitcoin and/or ether. You won't get rich but you'll, at the very least, double your initial investment.
